AN: Short section rejected from ch2 of Summonings and Shenanigans because it was too deep and didn't fit the lighthearted vibes. :\
Story summary for this to make sense:
Danny got summoned by some college kids and then invited to a movie night the next week.
Minutes later Danny was collapsing into his bed, not bothering to get under the covers yet. He was interested in how this weekend would go. It was always fascinating to see how people reacted to ghosts, because the reactions of both himself and the people of Amity Park were a bit skewed. It was still difficult to know that in some people's mind he was considered a ghost. It was such an abstract concept and yet clear as crystal at the same time. So many people he knew thought he was dead, fully dead. They only knew him as the dead kid that wandered around town and fended off his own kind. They didn't know that he was also just a kid who was about to start his Junior year of high school and was being pressured into getting a job. They didn't know, and it was both sad and funny at the same time.
Danny shook his head to rid himself of the philosophical thoughts that were running amok in his skull. It was already almost 2, and it had been too late for such things 5 hours ago. Now, he should be focused on sleep. While he could get it. 10 minutes later, Danny was even more dead to the world than usual and curled up under his starry quilt.
