Addiction - A Big Time Rush Fanfiction….
A/N - Well here's chapter fourteen! Thanks so much for all the reviews, it means a lot, seriously it does! Anyway so for this chapter, Logan's mother makes an appearance, and I know we don't know much about it, and that she only appears in one episode of the show, so bare with me. I wrote this how I imagined his mother would be, so it's all made up. I actually think Logan has a good relationship with his mother, but once more we only see them interact a little on the show so its hard to say. Well that's all I have to say about this lol.
Also I love when writing inspiration hits me and I can update frequent like this yeah! Keep it coming!
But in all serious, I am updating a bit possibly this week for the 18th-27th of this month I will be on vacation and not have access to a computer so it'll be a week before I update once I'm on vacation, I wanted to give you all a heads up! I will remind you on the last update of this week lol, which an update will come at some point.
Disclaimer: I own nothing from Big Time Rush it all belongs to Scott Fellows and Nickelodeon! :(

Chapter 14
Everyone stood in silence for a moment, unsure if they had just heard the women correctly. Was she here to bring Logan home? Why? These questions all filled their minds as Mrs. Mitchel stood there with her hands on her hips and a scolding look on her face, indicating she was serious. Mama Knight, Katie, Kendall, James, and Carlos all looked over to see Logan looking at his mother with a stunned expression, for he, too, was speechless.
"What? - " Logan finally managed to get out. " - Why? Why are you bringing me home?"
An annoyed look appears on Mrs. Mitchel's face as she eyes her son. "Well, if I could come in, I would tell you all my reasonings." Mrs. Mitchel demands as she crosses her arms and taps her foot impatiently.
Once she enters, Kendall, James, and Carlos all share a look with Logan, who shrugs. Mrs. Mitchel ended up sitting at the kitchen table with Logan at her side almost instantly. The two were whispering (more like Logan arguing about not wanting to go home, but his mother wasn't caving) while the guys tried to handle the fact that the woman was even here in the first place.
Kendall, James, and Carlos loved Logan like a brother; that was no secret; his mother, on the other hand, there weren't fans of. Mrs. Mitchel had always been friendly to them, but even they could see the up-tight snobby attitude the women held. Sure, no one said "no" to Mrs. Dimond, but Mrs. Mitchel was sort of a control freak in certain aspects (one of those being her son). She had a usual way of raising children (the other mothers saw it), but Mrs. Mitchel was tolerated for Logan's sake. When the women's mind was made up, the women could be stubborn, and it was a side that Carlos, James, and Kendall were never to found of dealing with. If she took Logan back to Minnesota, what would happen to BTR? Most importantly, what would happen to their friendship? They finally got things on decent terms and didn't want to lose their hard work.
"So, why do you want to take Logan home, Mrs. Mitchel?" Carlos's questions finally being the one to break the ice, he couldn't stand the silence and needed answers.
Sighing, Mrs. Mitchel frowns as she looks at her son, "You and that name ugh…." She shakes her head, and Logan shrugs as the other three frowns. She looks at everyone in the apartment and says. "...Isn't it obvious? I'm bringing him home because he's around bad influences. No boy of mine will hang around someone who does drugs, and it's not good for him." Mrs. Mitchel states as she shoots a slight glare at Kendall, who frowns.
"Look, Mrs. Mitchel, I can explain - " Kendall begins only to be ignored as Mrs. Mitchel interrupts him and continues talking.
"I always knew these boys you called your friends were bad influences. First, they change your name, which by the way is Hortense, not Logan, then they get you to play hockey…." Mrs. Mitchel comments, not caring if she hurts the other guy's feelings. "...Then, they drag you off to this crazy town, and one of them ends up on drugs. I wouldn't be surprised if all four of you were part of it and Kendall was the mastermind…they are a distraction to you, Hortense; you're coming home, and we're getting you back on the course; for studying to be a doctor." Mrs. Mitchel finishes as she grips the now cup of coffee in her hands while looking at her son with concern.
"Alright, first of all, we are not bad influences!" Kendall states, making everyone turn and look at him, even Mrs. Mitchel, who glares at him. "Secondly, I promise it won't happen again. I also promise that Logan didn't have any…."
"Have any!?" Mrs. Mitchel questions as she quickly spins on her to look him over with worry. "Hortense, that's it your coming home! Go pack your things now!"
"But mom - "
"NOW! Young man, her. before I make you!"
With a sigh of defeat, Logan stands up and groans. He walks to his and Kendall's shared room and starts to pack. Kendall mentally slaps himself; what he said came out wrong. There's a moment of silence as no one knows what to say to calm Logan's mother down. Mrs. Knight tries to talk to her out of taking Logan home, and the other three check on their friend. They enter the room, packing his things; they all are confused.
"You're not leaving, are you, dude?" Carlos questions with worry as he frowns.
Sighing, Logan throws another one of his shirts into his suitcase. "I don't have a choice, and no offense but Kendall didn't help the situation," Logan muttered as he shook his head.
"Okay, we all know I wasn't telling your mother you took, and I know it sounded wrong, but I was trying to explain to her that I was the only one who had them, no one else, no offense, but she wouldn't even let me talk half the time!" Kendall states as he holds his hands up in defense.
"Trust me, I know. But you know how my mom is - " Logan beings only to be cut off.
"Yeah, crazy and a control freak," James states as he rolls him slightly.
Logan frowns, crosses his arms, and glares at James. "Your mother's no better, Mrs. no one says no to," Logan states back as he gives James a look daring him to continue.
"Guys, fighting isn't going to help us. I made a mistake, and I need to fix it. I'm going to go talk to Mrs. Mitchel; Logan holds off on packing."
Kendall explains as he makes a determined look on his face that knits his eyebrows together.
Kendall turns and leaves the room before anyone can protest. Logan, James, and Carlos follow the boy to his destination, where Mrs. Mitchel was currently sitting. Upon arrival, the blonde-haired boy sees his mother and Mrs. Mitchel at the table talking, it seems awkward between them, and they both look up as Kendall approaches the table. Mama Knight and Kendall share a known look, and Kendall smiles at Logan's mother, who only glares at him in return; this might be harder than he thought…
"What druggie?" Mrs. Mitchel spats as she bites her bottom lip doing all in her willpower to not go off more on the boy before her.
"Joana…" Mrs. Knight states in a warning tone, not liking the name-calling towards her son.
She can put with many things from this woman, but one of the things she could not stand was this woman calling her son names.
Mrs. Mitchel sighs and rolls her eyes, "Fine; what is it?"
Kendall sighs, making sure to think of what he will say before he speaks. He frowns and says, "I just want to say I'm sorry for the situation I caused. It was my mistake, I wasn't aware, and I didn't think twice about it when I had those pills. But please, please don't take Logan….I mean, uh, Hortense away. He's our friend, and we care about him a lot. I promise I'm not dealing drugs, and it was a one-time thing that won't happen again. I promise Log - Hortense is safe and not involved with any kind of thing like that. I'm sorry, and I'll do whatever it takes to prove to you that to prove to that I'll never do that again and that I am a good influence on your son." Kendall finishes as he looks at her with pleading eyes.
There's a moment of silence as Mrs. Mitchel seems to be thinking the words Kendall had just said over and over. The tension fills the air as Kendall, and the other eagerly awaits her answer. Mrs. Mitchel wasn't one to not be willing to listen to apologies. At least the boy was admitting he did wrong, and if she did look past this whole drug thing he had going on, she could tell these boys cared about her son. Mrs. Mitchel just wanted what was best for her Hortense, wanted she just wanted to know her Hortense was safe and happy. The more she had to think about these things and the more she re-played what the Knight boy said over and over in her mind, she frowns and shakes her head. He may be their friend, but Hortense was her son first, and he was still under the age of eighteen, so whatever she said, he had to go with her.
Mrs. Mitchel looked at each person in this room and then at her son. It was hard for her to read his expressions, but she saw the worry on his face. The situation had to be as hard for him as it was on her. After thinking a little more, Mrs. Mitchel decided on an answer. She's about to open her mouth to talk when there's a knock on the apartment door. Mama Knight gets up and goes open it, and Mrs. Mitchel almost speaks when Mama Knight's voice enters the room.
"Oh uh….hello officers, can I help you?" Mama Knight questions, surprised to see two L.A Police officer at the door makes everyone look in the direction with shocked looks.
One officer says, "Yes, is Kendall Knight here?"
Mama Knight frowns and is confused, and everyone lays on Kendall, who shrugs but nods to the officers. "Um…, yes he; how can he help you?" Mama Knight wonders, being worried.
"We need to speak with him…."
Just like that, any chances of Kendall winning over Mrs. Mitchel with his apology speech are probably ruined. Kendall sighs and walks over to the officers, with all eyes on him. The two ask him to step outside to talk privately, and as they do, Kendall wonders what they want to even speak to him about…
