(I don't own Country Comfort by: Keith Urban and Flashlight by: Jessie J.)

We eat our lunch and talked. Our other class went by fast. It is glee now. I walked down the hallway to the glee room.

I walked in to see Jake and Ryder talking. I just walked to take a seat in the back. I pulled out my phone and checked it for anything. There was a text from Hunter.

Hey Beautiful. I know you are probably in glee club. But I want you to just be smile and be mad at your friends. I will see you after your practice.

Thanks handsome. You are so sweet. I will see you later then. Please don't let them scare you away.

Don't worry. They won't. I will see you later.

He is so sweet. He knows I am mad at Ryder and Jake for how they are acting. How can I not be mad? They were acting like jerks.

Then everyone came in. Mr. Shuester walked into the room.

"Okay guys. Does anyone have anything today?" Mr. Shuester asked us.

Everyone looked around. No one did anything or said anything. I don't think anyone wants to go.

"Come on guys. Don't make me rap and dance." He said. We laughed at him.

"Fine Mr. Shuester I will go then." Ryder said getting up.

"Thank-you Ryder." Mr. Shuester said.

"So my hidden talent is that I can sing country songs. So bear with me." Ryder said. Then the music started. Ryder started to sing.

Soon the pines will be falling everywhere
As the village children fight each other for their share
And the Six O' Nine goes roarin' past the creek
As Deacon Lee prepares his sermon for next week

I saw grandma yesterday down at the store
Well she's really doin' fine for eighty-four
And she asked me if sometime I could fix her barn
The poor old girl, she needs a hand to run that farm

And it's good old country comfort in my bones
It's the sweetest sound these ears have ever known
It's just an old fashioned feelin' fully grown
Country comfort and a truck that's goin' back home
Oh it's goin' back home

Down at the well they've got a new machine
The foreman says it'll cut manpower by fifteen
"Hey but that ain't natural", old Clay would say, yes he would
You see he's a horse drawn man until his dyin' day

And it's good old country comfort in my bones
It's the sweetest sound these ears have ever known
An' it's just an old fashioned feelin' fully grown
Country comfort and a truck that's goin' back home
Take it home, woo, hmm

Yeah, it feels so good, woo, hmm

And it's good old country comfort in my bones
It's the sweetest sound these ears have ever known
An' it's just an old fashioned feelin' fully grown, ha
The country comfort and a truck that's goin' back home

Country comfort and a truck that's goin' back home
(Home)
Whoa, it's goin' back home, yeah
Hey take me back home, hey, hey
(Home)
And a truck, and a truck that's goin' back home
Any truck

Everyone clapped for him. He could really sing a country song. Wow, he was good. I never know Ryder could sing like that.

"That was so different Ryder. I didn't know you had that. That was amazing." Mr. Shuester said.

"Thanks Mr. Shuester." Ryder said taking a seat.

"Okay. Who is next?" He asked us.

Everyone looked around at each other. No one made a more yet. It looks like no one was going to move at all.

"How many more people has to go before we can leave?" I asked him.

"One more. Do you want to go Kitty?" Mr. Shuester asked me.

"No. I don't have anything." I said.

"I will go Mr. Shuester. Really Unique and I will go. If you don't mind?" Marley asked.

"Not at all." He said. Then Unique and Marley took the front.

"Okay. What our hidden talent is that…"Marley started off. Then Unique said,

"We have wrote our own song."

The music started up and Marley looked at Unique and nodded. They then start.

When tomorrow comes
I'll be on my own
Feeling frightened of
The things that I don't know
When tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes

And though the road is long
I look up to the sky
And in the dark I found,
I lost hope that I won't fly
And I sing along, I sing along
And I sing along

I got all I need when I got you and I
I look around me, and see a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're getting me, getting me through the night
Can't stop my heart when you shinin' in my eyes
Can't lie, it's a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're getting me, getting me through the night
'Cause you're my flashlight (flashlight)
You're my flashlight (flashlight)
You're my flashlight

I see the shadows long beneath the mountain top
I'm not afraid when the rain won't stop
'Cause you light the way
You light the way, you light the way

I got all I need when I got you and I
I look around me, and see a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're getting me, getting me through the night
Can't stop my heart when you shinin' in my eyes
I can't lie, it's a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're getting me, getting me through the night
(Light light light you're my flashlight, light, light)
Light light you're my flashlight
Light light light light light, oh
(Light light light you're my flashlight, light, light)
You're my flash, oh

I got all I need when I got you and I
I look around me, and see a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're getting me, getting me through the night
Can't stop my heart when you shinin' in my eyes
I can't lie, it's a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
(You're my flashlight)
You're getting me, getting me through the night
'Cause you're my flashlight
'Cause you're my flashlight
You're my flashlight

You're my flashlight
Light light
You're my flashlight
Light light ye-yeah

You're my flashlight

Everyone clapped for them. That was amazing song. I could understand it. It was really good.

"That was amazing girls. Great job. And like I said. You guys can go. But Tomorrow I want more than two people to go." Mr. Shuester as we left.

I pulled out my phone and started to text Hunter. I really hope he can text me right now.

Hey. What's up?

Nothing much. Got a sub for class. What's up with you? I thought you had glee.

Mr. Shuester let out early. Two people showed their hidden talents and he let us go. But three people has to go tomorrow.

One of them should be you. So who went today?

Ryder, Marley, and Unique

Cool. What was their hidden talent if you don't mind me asking.

Ryder was he could sing country. Marley and Unique sang a song they wrote together.

Wow. That is cool. What are you going to be doing this week?

No doing it.

Why?

Because I got nothing that is a hidden talent.

Yes you do

What?

You being a leader.

That doesn't count

Yes it does. The guys here agrees with me.

Really getting them involved too.

Yes I am.

You are such a weirdo

I know. That is one of the things you like about me.

Yes it is.

Well I have to go. Class is almost over here. I will see you later.

Okay. Talk to you later. Let me know when you are on your way.

Gotcha

See you later

I walked down the empty hallway. Mostly everyone is doing something. I have nothing to do. So I went to the one place where I know I will be good at.
