Aurasoul: Hello ladies and gentlemen! Today I shall bring up chapter 7 for Yugioh! I am so very very sorry for not updating sooner but things have been very busy in IRL and its just been draining me mentally for oof a while

Aurasoul: Indeed! And of course this is you dueling this time. Now you all know the drill I dont own Yugioh both the show and the card game only my OCs and OC cards except Kisara and her OC cards that belong to 0713MM. So I hope you all enjoy enjoy the story!
Chapter 7
"Is it really so bad that Yami knows about you being his Guardian?" Karen asked Fire, as she checked her phone.
It's off as heck. Especially when I have no recollection of it. Fire scowled, before glancing at Karen. So what do you think? Karen looked at Fire, knowing what she was implying before she frowned.
"I think Marik had it rough." She replied.
Figures you say that. The kid gets the ancient text engraved on his back at the age of 11; no doubt not by his choice. It's no wonder a dark side formed in his mind. Fire frowned. Sorry for sounding mean, but they shouldn't need to go that far. Even if it's for the sake of the Pharaoh.
"What's done is done. All we can do now is see if we can stop, and maybe even help him." Karen frowned.
Hmph. That's only if we can find this guy. We should've asked Ishizu what he looked like. Fire sighed. And have you reached your sister yet?
"No, which could mean she's on a plane." Karen said, putting her phone away.
Well at any rate, right now we gotta make sure to get the locator cards. Fire said.
"Yeah. Hopefully Yugi and Yami, plus Kisara do the same." Karen added.
I wouldn't worry about those 2, they'll be fine. And as for Kisara. Fire smirked. I'm gonna feel pretty bad for the ones who go to duel her.
Kisara was walking down one of the streets as she looked around to find an opponent.
I did my sweep as commissioner like Mokuba. Now it's time I find an opponent as a participant. She thought, looking around. She soon spotted Jonouchi, Mai, and Yugi (Yami) chatting amongst themselves.
Looks like I have an opponent among those 3. Kisara thought as she approached them.
"Well, see ya later Mai." Jonouchi grinned as he walked off to find an opponent of his own.
"Thanks Jonouchi. And you guys, good luck." Mai smiled.
"Thanks Mai." Yami nodded. "I best be off to find my own opponent too." Just before Yami could walk away, he stopped and turned to see Kisara approaching them. "Kisara?"
"Your bond with your Dark Magician probably enabled you to sense my presence." Kisara retorted as she soon came to a stop in front of Mai and Yami.
"Who's this chick Yugi?" Mai questioned.
"This is Kisara. A friend of ours and another participant of Battle City." Yami introduced.
"Kisara huh?" Mai questioned before grinning. "And a participant of the Battle City Tournament? Interesting!"
"And I'm the 2nd commissioner for the tournament too." Kisara added.
"Whoa! So you have your work cut out for you." Mai retorted.
"I take it you're looking for challengers for yourself now." Yami stated to Kisara.
"You'd be right." Kisara nodded.
"So then that means you came to challenge one of us." Mai remarked.
"That's right." Kisara smiled. "And speaking of challenging, I challenge you, Mai."
"Then I accept the challenge." Mai smiled.
"Great!" Kisara smiled as she activated her duel disk.
Should we watch? Yugi asked Yami.
I don't see why not, besides I'm interested in what Karen and Fire told us about their duel with Kisara. Yami replied.
Alright. Yugi nodded. The 2 watched Mai also activate her duel disk.
"DUEL!"
"I'll go first." Mai grinned. "Draw!" (Mai's hand: 6 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) Mai looked at her hand and smiled. "I like this hand. To begin my turn, I'll activate the Continuous Spell, Hysteric Sign!" The spell appeared, which had an artwork of a few Harpies with their Pet Dragon. "This card upon activation lets me add 1 Elegant Egotist from my Deck to my hand." A card ejected out of Mai's Deck; thus she added it to her hand. "Next I Summon Harpie Lady 1 to my field." A long red-haired harpie with purple skin and sharp claws appeared onto Mai's field. (Harpie Lady 1, Level 4 WIND Winged-Beast-type monster, ATK/DEF: 1600 (originally 1300)/1400. Mai's hand: 5 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
"And speaking of Elegant Egotist, I shall play it now." Mai continued. "Doing so enables me to Special Summon Harpie Lady Sisters from either my hand or Deck." Another card ejected out of her Deck; thus she placed it onto her field. Out of the card came forth Harpie Lady's 1, 2, and 3, but as 1 monster. All 3 made a screeching cry. (Harpie Lady Sisters, Level 6 WIND Winged-Beast-type monster, ATK/DEF: 2250 (originally 1950)/2100. Mai's hand: 4 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
Her Deck has certainly improved since Duelist Kingdom. Yugi noted.
Yes. With new support cards to form different combos and not needing her usual equip spells. Yami remarked.
"I place 1 card face-down and end my turn." Mai concluded. (Mai's hand: 3 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) "Your turn hun." Kisara observed Mai's field as she placed her right hand on top of her Deck.
Now let's see what Kisara will do. Yami thought.
"Here I go Mai!" Kisara declared. "I draw!" (Mai's hand: 3 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 6 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
If Kisara destroys my Hysteric Sign, I'll be able to add up to 3 Harpie cards from my Deck to my hand. So long as they have different names from one another. Mai thought as she glanced at her face-down card. Then there's my Mirror Wall Trap card. Should Kisara choose to attack me, my Mirror Wall Trap shall cut all her monster's ATK in half permanently after they have attacked.
"I'll start by Summoning The White Stone of Power to my field." Kisara began. A white stone/orb appeared onto Kisara's field. (The White Stone of Power, Level 1 LIGHT Dragon-type monster, ATK/DEF: 0. Mai's hand: 3 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) Mai blinked upon seeing the white stone.
"0 ATK/DEF?" Mai raised an eyebrow. "Is this some kind of a joke?"
"Before I continue, why don't reveal your rarest card." Kisara spoke.
"My rarest card?" Mai repeated before smirking. "Should have asked that before dueling me hun. Now you'll have to wait until after the duel to find out. Of course, I'll have to wait and see what your rarest card is after the duel too. So there's that."
"Well, I tried." Kisara laughed. "Anyway! I use my White Stone of Power's effect! By Tributing it, I can Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower Blue-Eyes monster from my Deck!"
"What?!" Mai gaped.
Did she say Blue-Eyes?! Yugi gaped.
So it's just as Fire said. Kaiba isn't the only one with Blue Eyes. Yami frowned.
"I Special Summon from my Deck Dragon Spirit of White!" Kisara called as she placed the card onto her field. A spiritual white dragon that looked like Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared onto Kisara's field; roaring at Mai and her 2 Harpie Lady's. (Dragon Spirit of White, Level 8 LIGHT Dragon-type monster, ATK/DEF: 2500/2000. Mai's hand: 3 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
A spirit of Blue Eyes? Yami thought, shocked.
This isn't good. Not for Mai. Yugi frowned. He looked at his/Yami's duel disk. Other than the names and stats of Kisara's appearing in their duel disk database, the effects remained unknown. What?! We can't even look to see what her cards do!
There's no way for her cards to actually be counterfeits, so then why? Yami frowned.
I'm not sure. Yugi frowned. Maybe it has something to do with Kisara's aura? Maybe that's masking her cards. Either that or… He looked down at the bottom part of Dragon Spirit of White's card to see an all too familiar symbol.
"Hey wait a minute!" Mai spoke up. "These cards were made by Maximillan Pegasus! The Creator of Duel Monsters! If that's true, then you have the only copies to ever exist!"
"Honestly, I'm surprised that Mokuba or Fire didn't point it out when I dueled her." Kisara remarked.
Knowing them, they probably didn't want to bring it up or else Kaiba would lose his head. Yami thought with a sigh.
"Humph! Well either way, I'm not letting you use your Dragon's effect, should it have one!" Mai shot back as she revealed a Trap card from her hand. "I activate the Trap card Harpie's Feather Storm! Now for this turn only I can negate any and all monster effects from your field! And since I control a Harpie monster, I can activate this card from my hand!"
"Oh no!" Kisara gaped. "That means my Dragon Spirit of White cannot banish 1 of your Spell/Traps upon it being Summoned!"
Good call on Mai's part. Yugi remarked.
Yes. Now any monster effects Kisara tries to use will be negated. Yami spoke.
Hmm… Kisara thought as she looked at her hand. I could Fusion Summon. But even if I do, the Fusion monster can't attack the turn I Summon it. In which case, I'll have to draw Quick Attack. But for now.
"I activate Trade-In! By discarding 1 Level 8 monster from my hand, I can draw 2 cards." Kisara continued as she discarded Blue-Eyes Solid Dragon in order to draw 2 more cards. (Mai's hand: 2 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) Kisara looked at her hand again, then grabbed 2 cards from it. "I'll set 2 cards. And now, I'll attack! Dragon Spirit of White, attack Harpie Lady 1! White Spirit Lightning!" The white spiritual dragon opened its mouth and fired a beam of white energy at Harpie Lady 1. Just as the attack was about to connect, a wall of mirrors appeared in front of Harpie Lady 1.
"What's this?!" Kisara gaped.
"My Mirror Wall Trap card, that's what." Mai smirked. "You see hun, should your monsters declare any attacks, my trap shall halve their ATK permanently."
"Oh no! That means my Dragon Spirit is at 1250 ATK!"
"That's right." Mai nodded. "Which means my Harpie Lady 1 shall strike back! Scratch Slash!" Harpie Lady 1 released a cry as she slashed Dragon Spirit of White in the chest; thus destroying it. (Kisara's LP: 4000 - 350 = 3650. Mai's hand: 2 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 3650.)
Mirror Wall, another of Mai's signature cards. Yami remarked.
All Mai needs to do is attack with her 2 monsters and she'll win. Yugi smiled. However, he glanced over at Kisara's face-down cards and frowned. But wait! I bet Kisara has a plan to get out of this situation.
"I end my turn." Kisara spoke.
"Then back to me, draw!" Mai declared as she drew her card. (Mai's hand: 3 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 3650.) Mai looked at the card she drew and smiled.
Perfect.
"I discard Harpie Queen in order to add Harpie's Hunting Ground to my hand." Mai began, discarding said monster card and added the card that ejected out of her Deck to her hand. "But why stop there when I can play it." The field changed to that of a hunting ground-like arena. Mai then grabbed another card from her hand. "Sorry hun, but I have to defeat you. Since I control a Level 5 or higher Harpie monster, I can Special Summon Harpie Oracle from my hand." The light blue-haired harpie appeared onto Mai's field. (Harpie Oracle, Level 4 WIND WInged-Beast-type monster, ATK/DEF: 1800/1600 (originally 1300/1400. Mai's hand: 1 card. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 3650.)
"Not only does my Field Spell boost the ATK/DEF of all my Winged-Beast monster by 200, but every time I Summon a Harpie monster, I can destroy 1 Spell/Trap you control! In addition, Harpie Oracle lets me add my Elegant Egotist to my hand from my GY." One of Kisara's set cards shattered, and Mai added Elegant Egotist back to her hand.
Even though Kisara has cards we've never seen before, Mai is doing quite well. Yugi grinned.
Yeah, but we shouldn't keep our guard down yet. Same goes for Mai. Yami replied.
"I activate Elegant Egotist to Special Summon Cyber Harpie Lady from my Deck!" Mai grinned as she played the card. Out of her Deck came forth Harpie Lady 1, but it was dressed in cyber armor. (Cyber Harpie Lady, Level 4 WIND WInged-Beast-type monster, ATK/DEF: 2300/1500 (originally 1800/1300. Mai's hand: 1 card. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 3650.)
"You know what comes next." Mai smiled. "Harpie's Hunting Ground destroys your last set card." Cyber Harpie Lady leapt forward to slash the set card in half. However…
"I activate Waboku!" Kisara countered. "Now I take 0 damage this turn!"
"Tch…! From battles at the very least!" Mai scoffed. "Effect damage on the other hand is a different story!" Mai grabbed the card in her hand and played it. "I activate the Spell card, Harpie's Slash Dance! Now by reducing the ATK of all my Harpie's by 1000 until the end of the next turn, you take 900 damage for every Harpie I control! I control 4, so you take 3600 damage!"
"Oh no!" Kisara gaped as she was pushed backwards from the blast of Mai's Spell card. (Kisara's LP: 3650 - 3600 = 50. Mai's hand: 0 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.)
"Another drawback of this card is that I cannot add cards from my Deck to my hand, except during my Normal Draw." Mai explained. "But like the reduction to my Harpie's ATKs, that downside also lasts until the end of the next turn. It's your move now."
"I draw!" Kisara spoke as she drew. (Mai's hand: 0 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.)
Hey. Yugi spoke to Yami. Do you think Kisara is holding back? Because we know she didn't when she dueled Fire.
It can be a possibility. Remember what Karen had said when Fire and Kisara dueled it had caused the machines in Kaiba's company to go haywire. Yami reminded Yugi. But she should know that she can't expect to win if she is doing that. Especially against a Duelist like Mai.
That's true. Yugi agreed.
"What will you do?" Mai wondered aloud. "If you try to Summon a Fusion monster, it won't be able to attack for 1 turn."
"You know," Kisara began. "I feel bad for you."
"What?" Mai frowned deeply.
"Because of what I hold in my hand, I've already won." Kisara continued. "I didn't think I'd have to do this, but I underestimated you."
"What do you mean by you've won?" Mai demanded.
"I mean this." Kisara spoke as she turned her card around. "Blue-Eyes Fusion!"
"What is that?!" Mai gaped. "A new Fusion Spell?"
"That's right!" Kisara confirmed. "I shall fuse the Blue-Eyes White Dragon in my hand with the other 2 in my Deck!" A Fusion Portal appeared above Kisara's field as the 3 Blue-Eyes White Dragons went into the Fusion Portal and began to merge. "Ultimate dragon be reborn into a new power of the new times! Fusion Summon! Descend now! Level 12! Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" Out of the Fusion Portal came forth a massive three-headed dragon that had a similar appearance Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. (Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Level 12 LIGHT Dragon-type monster, ATK/DEF: 4500/3800. Mai's hand: 0 cards. Mai's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.)
Ultimate?! Yugi gaped.
No! It's similar, but it's as if an evolved Ultimate! Yami gaped, shocked.
"This is one of my most powerful monsters." Kisara revealed. "I figured it'd be appropriate to use in this situation."
"How do you figure?" Mai wondered.
"Well first off, since I used a Fusion Material from the hand via Blue-Eyes Fusion, I can add 1 Blue-Eyes monster from my Deck to my hand." Kisara explained as she grabbed the ejected card from her Deck. After that, she thrusted her right hand forward after playing Quick Attack. "Battle! Neo Blue-Eyes, attack her Harpie Oracle! Neo White Lightning!" The three-headed dragon fired as its ATK got cut to 2250 via Mirror Wall. Despite this, Harpie Oracle was destroyed. (Mai's LP: 4000 - 1450 = 2550. Mai's hand: 0 cards. Mai's LP: 2550. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.)
"That's it?" Mai raised an eyebrow. "I'm not impressed hun."
"My attack isn't over yet." Kisara revealed.
"What do you mean? You just did your 1 attack." Mai frowned.
"I mean Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's effect." Kisara spoke. "See, if he's the only monster on the field, I can send 1 Blue-Eyes Fusion monster from my Extra Deck to the GY. After that, my Neo Blue-Eyes can attack again. This effect can be used up to twice per turn!"
"What?!"
"So I'll send Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to the GY and let Neo Blue-Eyes attack again! This time on your Cyber Harpie Lady!" Another beam of lightning struck and destroyed the Cyber Harpie Lady. Mai tsked as she took the damage. (Mai's LP: 2550 - 950 = 1600. Mai's hand: 0 cards. Mai's LP: 1600. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.)
"And again! This time Blue-Eyes Neon Dragon! Now attack her Harpie Lady 1!" And the 3rd attack connected. (Mai's LP: 1600 - 1450 = 150. Mai's hand: 0 cards. Mai's LP: 150. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.)
"Ugh…..! Guess I underestimated you too!" Mai smiled.
"I set 1 card and end my turn." Kisara concluded. (Mai's hand: 0 cards. Mai's LP: 150. Kisara's hand: 2 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.)
Now they have a difference of 100 LP. Yugi noted.
But because of Mai's Mirror Wall, Kisara's Neo Blue Eyes only has 2250 ATK. At this point, the Duel can shift in the favor for either one. Yami pointed out.
True. Yugi nodded. But let's just hope Mai can pull it out.
"You said you had won." Mai remembered. "But how? You failed to deplete my LP to 0. Which means I get another shot at defeating you. Draw!" (Mai's hand: 1 card. Mai's LP: 150. Kisara's hand: 2 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.) Mai looked at the card she drew and scowled.
"Disappointed?" Kisara asked.
"Not really." Mai retorted. "My Harpie Lady Sisters is 100 ATK lower than yours, so attacking with it would be foolish. I'll set this and end my turn." (Mai's hand: 0 cards. Mai's LP: 150. Kisara's hand: 2 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.)
"Then it's my turn. Draw!" Kisara spoke as she drew a card. (Mai's hand: 0 cards. Mai's LP: 150. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 50.) Kisara looked at Mai's field and frowned.
She left her Harpie Lady Sisters in ATK mode. Kisara thought. So she must want me to attack.
"If you think I'm going to attack right away, then you're wrong." Kisara remarked. "I have precautions in case of that. So in that case, I activate my face-down card, Soul with the Eyes of Blue!" The Trap flipped face-up to reveal a stone tablet of Blue-Eyes White Dragon, along with a strangely dressed man holding a woman in his arms.
That card… Yami thought.
Does it, look familiar to you Mou Hitori No Boku? Yugi asked.
"What is that?" Mai asked.
"A Continuous Trap with 2 very handy effects." Kisara explained. "And I'll use its 2nd effect to destroy your set card." A beam fired from Kisara's trap; thus destroying Mai's set card.
"Oh no!" Mai gaped. "My Storming Mirror Force!"
"And due to Neo Blue-Eyes effect, even if I destroy your monster, I still win." Kisara reminded her.
"This can't be…..!" Mai gaped as she let her arms fall to her side.
"Hey, don't feel too bad." Kisara spoke out. "Your Deck is quite strong. It would give a lot of duelists trouble. It's just too bad that I'm not an average duelist. Now battle! Neo Blue-Eyes, attack!" The three-headed dragon attacked twice. Mai was pushed back from the final attack. (Mai's LP: 150 - 100 - 2250 = 0.)
She beat Mai… Yugi spoke, stunned.
Now I can see what Fire meant. Yami frowned.
Do you think anyone can beat her? Yugi asked. According to Ishizu, she said that the Blue-Eyes White Dragon has powers equivalent to that of an Egyptian God Card. Could Kisara really have such power?
We can't rule it out. Yami frowned. All the more reason we can't put our guard down if we are to ever duel her.
Let's hope that doesn't happen until the quarterfinals. Yugi laughed nervously. In our current state, we wouldn't stand a chance against her. Her dueling prowess puts Kaiba to shame.
Best not let him hear that or else we'll never hear the end of it. Yami sighed.
Haha. You're probably right. Yugi laughed awkwardly. Kisara approached Mai and held out her hand.
"It was a great duel, Mai." Kisara smiled. Mai looked down at Kisara's hand and shook it.
"Yeah. Same to you hun." Mai smiled. "Well, my Battle City days are over. And here are my 2 locator cards. And my rarest card." Mai held out her 2 locator cards to Kisara and her rarest card to her in her left hand, which Kisara took. Pocketing the locator cards and putting Mai's card into her Deck.
"3 locator cards down, 3 to go." Kisara smiled.
"I'll see you later Yugi." Mai told him as she walked away. "Best of luck in the tournament for you."
"And to you as well." Yami nodded. Mai winked, then walked away.
Standing on a boat that was nearing the harbor of Domino City stood a teen with white gold hair and purple eyes holding a Millennium Item as he smirked while another man with a tattoo on his face walked up to the teen.
"Marik-sama, soon we are to reach Domino City." He told him. Marik turned to face the other figure and he smirked.
"Excellent Rishid." Marik grinned as he turned to face the horizon of the ocean where the city was. "Soon I'll have the 3rd Egyptian God, Obelisk the Tormentor and the Millennium Puzzle from the Pharaoh! Hahahahaha!"
"Marik-sama, what of the Pharaoh's Guardian?" Rishid questioned.
"Hmm…." Marik put a hand to his chin before he just laughed. "I could care less about the Pharaoh's Guardian, Fire. She can't protect the Pharaoh from dueling us anyway! Especially considering the rules Seto Kaiba put into place regarding tournament duels. You can't have multiple people dueling unless it's a tag duel. So basically the Pharaoh's Guardian can do nothing to protect him if he's in a 1 vs 1 duel."
"Be that as it may, she could be a threat to your plans." Rishid warned.
"Not to worry Rishid." Marik grinned. "I have Mind Slaves and my Rare Hunters all throughout the City. So if they see her, their mission is to duel her immediately. She too has a connection to the ancient past. Which means if I get the Millennium Bracelet as well as the Millennium Puzzle, that means that you'll become the new Guardian of the new Pharaoh, Rishid. The new Pharaoh being me! Hahahaha!"
Aurasoul: And there we have it! Now I know some of you will be a bit peeved that Mai will not be in the final 8 of the tournament but this is all part of the story so please bear with me. As for next chapter Karen and Fire will be facing their first Rare Hunter of the tournament! So until then read and review everybody!
