The group watched as Keith got hit by Lotor's magic and ended up being knocked down off the cliffside and landing on the ground below. Almost in slow motion.

The group rushed over to the edge and stared down with wide eyes as Keith lay on the ground, unconscious and not moving. Shiro sped past them all, his mind racing as he rushed to his son. He had handed his trident to Matt who swam up beside his sister and gathered her in his arms and she watched, worried for her friend.

Keith was still.

Too still.

The group slowly swam down and stood a few feet away, watching as Shiro hesitated by Keith. He didn't know if he wanted to pick Keith up, what if he was already-

No. He couldn't think like that

He needed to think of the positives.

Shiro slowly pulled Keith into his arms. It was almost funny how Keith was too big for his father's hold.

When had Keith gotten so big?

When was the last time Shiro actually held Keith like this?

Oh. Right.

Before Adam-

Shiro was broken out of his thoughts when one of Keith's arms slid down and something slipped out of his hold.

Shiro's eyes widened when he saw what it was.

The music box!

The box opened and an all too familiar lullaby started playing.

"Adam," Shiro whispered softly, tears filling his grey eyes. "I'm so sorry. What have I done?" Shiro asked, tears slipping down his cheeks as he pulled Keith closer to him.

"Endless sky," Shiro sang softly, one hand reaching up and brushing the bangs out of Keith's eyes which remained closed.

"Waves try to measure

The days that we treasure"

Shiro closed his eyes as tears continued to run down his face. However, as he felt stirring in his arms he opened them. Relief flooding through him as Keith's eyes opened and his head turned to stare at him.

Keith was pretty dazed still from being hit with Lotor's magic but he could make out the image of his father holding him.

"Daddy?" Keith asked softly, Shiro's heart just about burst, he can't remember the last time Keith called him that. After Adam died, Shiro became distant from his children and they were forced to grow up too fast. His son was 17 and he hadn't even realized how much he had grown up.

"Keith," Shiro said with a shaky breath. "I'm so sorry about everything, I-"

"I forgive you," Keith said before pushing himself up and gathering his father in a hug. "Let's go home."

"Yes," Shiro said with a smile. "Home."

Shiro got off the ground and started heading back to the palace, Keith still in his arms. The Prince making no protests.

Shiro would have guards come back to collect Lotor, as long as he was chained to the wall he wouldn't cause any trouble. The chains restricting his magic.

"Let's go home Pidge," Matt said turning to his sister.

"Yeah," Pidge said with a nod. The group then followed after the King and Prince. Hunk staying back to grab the music box and Slav, closing the music box with a smile.

And so, Keith came back home and life in Altea returned just as it had before.

Well, not exactly.

There were a few changes.

For one, Lotor was banished for the rest of his life in a dungeon far away. His powers were taken away and his cell was always guarded. As long as Shiro was alive, he would never be free.

Just like his mother.

Rolo's deeds that he had done by Lotor were pardoned by Shiro and he was given the job of taking care of the young merchildren in the kingdom. He loved kids and so the job was perfect for him.

"Rise and shine!" Shiro announced as he entered his children's bedroom. Keith and his sisters waking up and smiles on their faces appeared upon seeing their father. "It's a gorgeous day outside, maybe we can go see the Coral Reef today, or-"

"Dad!" they all cried out, rushing out of their bed and embracing Shiro in a hug.

A few weeks later, Shiro called everyone into the strange building which had been in progress for a while now.

"To my children and all my beloved citizens in Altea," Shiro said with a smile on his face. "I revoke the law banning music and announce that music will once again be heard throughout the entire kingdom of Altea!"

The crowd cheered smiles on their faces.

Especially Keith.

"And, I hereby pronounce Slav as the kingdoms first official music composer!" Shiro announced turning to Slav with a smile.

Slav stared at the King in shock. This was something he never expected.

"Way to go Slav!" Nadia called out from the crowd. Slav smiled and turned back to the King,

"Thank you, Your Majesty," Slav said with a bow. "I won't let you down."

"I put all my trust in you Slav," Shiro replied with a bow of his head.

"Now then, not that we don't trust you, Your Majesty," Slav said before finding Sven in the crowd. "Sven?"

"Your Majesty," Sven said as he swam up and bowed. "Raise your hand please."

"Like this?" Shiro asked raising his left hand. Sven nodded and continued.

"Do you promise to jump, jive, wail, groove, and at all times lend a helping hand to your fellow music lovers?" Sven asked, Keith smiled seeing Shiro's confused face.

"Um, I do?" Shiro said. The crowd who had heard about the initiation from the club cheered.

In the celebration, Allura pulled Keith aside, a frown on her face.

"Keith, I'm sorry about what I said earlier," Allura said referring to what she said to Keith the night he left. "I just-"

"You were just doing what was right for us," Keith interrupted with a soft smile. "Allura, I forgive you."

"Thank you," Allura said with a smile, pulling Keith into a hug. "And thank you for bringing music back, Mom would have loved it."

"Yeah," Keith said with a nod as the two returned to the celebration. "He would have."

Hira turned as Nadia guided her away from her family, her eyes widened as Ina handed her a flute.

"For me?" she asked to which Ina nodded, her cheeks dusting a light pink. Hira smiled and played a few notes, the band cheering.

"You weren't kidding, she's a natural," Nadia said with a smile. "So, how about it?"

"How about what?" Hira asked not quite getting was Nadia was asking her.

"Playing with the band some time," James added with a smile.

"Oh my god! Yes!" Hira cried out with a smile. "I'd love to!"

"I will sing of joy and glory

I will sing the look in your eyes"

Zethrid turned at the tap of her shoulder, her friend standing beside her as they celebrated. She smiled seeing Ezor standing there. Her eyes widened when Ezor leaned forwards and kissed her.

Ezor ignored the cheers her siblings let out and the hissy fit Zethrid's friend was throwing about them kissing. She was just happy she built up the courage to kiss her after all these years and that Zethrid wasn't pushing her away.

"I will sing till all the world knows your story

I will sing for the rest of my life"

Hunk and Pidge knocked into Keith as they gathered him a hug. They were thankful he was okay after being hit by Lotor's magic. They hadn't been able to see him while he was recovering but now that he was okay, they had some catching up to do.

Shiro smile seeing everyone so happy and turned as Matt swam up to him, holding out the music box which had been polished and cleaned.

"Thank you," Shiro said with a nod of his head taking the music box from Matt who then bowed and went back to the celebration. Shiro took one last look at Keith and his friends and then headed out of the building, heading back to the palace garden which had been closed off.

Until now.

Shiro swam up to the statue of him and Adam with a soft smile. Gently, he placed the music box on the base of the statue and opened it up. As the familiar lullaby started to play, Shiro used his magic to return the garden to the state it used to be.

The stature turned back to the polished gold and the garden was filled with beautiful colours once more.

"Dad?" Shiro turned as he heard Keith behind him. Apparently, Keith had followed him. That made Shiro smile as he remembered Keith liked to follow him everywhere he went when he was younger. "Do you think Mom's happy?"

"I do," Shiro said with a soft smile, pulling his son into a hug. "We're a family again."

"Someone call for a conga line!?" Acxa called out with a smile. Apparently, it wasn't just Keith who followed him into the garden. The whole kingdom had.

"I will sing for the rest of my life!"

Acxa smiled as she started a conga line, her sisters cringed at the dance moves she was doing but shrugged it off and joined in. Keith and Shiro shared a smile and joined in as well, Shiro leading the line with Keith behind him.

"I will sing

I will sing

I will sing…"

And that is the story of how a Prince and a King brought not only brought music back to the kingdom of Altea. They also brought their family back together after years of pain.

"I will sing for the rest of my life"

Yes, I did cry writing these last 2 chapters. The ending from this movie always makes me cry.

In any case, I'm glad I finally have this story finished.

An announcement I want to make is that I am entering finals week for my classes and I am stressed out of my mind, I have a final essay for my English class due on Tuesday and I only have one paragraph done. But, I wanted this done so I wrote this instead.

Because of finals, I won't be working on any new AU projects until I am officially done with the semester.

But, as soon as summer starts, I'll have a new AU to be working on. For now, I have a sort of list I want to do my AU's in from what people have been asking me:

This is just a temporary list. If you want something pushed up the list because you really want me to do that one, please let me know. Numbers 1-5 won't be moved because I want to write to ones in that order but numbers 6-13 can be moved based on how many people want a certain one moved.

I think Moana is probably the last Disney AU I want to do and then move onto my other ideas like Dreamworks and Barbie (yes you heard right, Barbie movies).

For now, I'm going to be a little inactive until the semester is done.
