Chapter 12
"How's Yugi?" Fire muttered to Yami, as they and their friends walked to the location for the quarterfinals.
"Mainly going through the shock, but he's getting there." Yami muttered with a frown, gently touching his Puzzle. "Karen?"
"Coping thankfully." Fire muttered with a sigh, touching her bracelet before glancing at the others. "Yami… Before we go, maybe we should give them an out."
"An out?" Yami repeated.
"They just lost one of their closest friends because of people who are involved with our memories. And I have a feeling if they come with us, things will be even more dangerous." Fire muttered with a torn frown. "I just want to make sure they're ready to go through with coming with us…"
"I know." Yami nodded solemnly. They were silent before reaching the stadium. But before they entered, Yami and Fire stopped in order to face the others.
"Guys before we go in, there's something I want to talk with you about." Fire spoke.
"Is something wrong?" Anzu asked worriedly.
"Not exactly." Fire frowned. "Look, after all that's happened and… What happened to Jonouchi-kun, we can understand if you guys would have second thoughts on coming with us. You guys are our friends and with the possibility of the dangers that might come in these quarterfinals… We couldn't bear the thought of losing you like how we lost Jonouchi-kun. And if you guys don't wish to come, we understand that." Anzu, Otogi, and Honda glanced at each other before turning back to face Fire and Yami.
"Jonouchi would want us to watch you guys make it through the tournament." Anzu finally spoke. "So that's what we will do. We don't care about the risks."
"Are you sure?" Fire asked them carefully.
"We're with you guys till the end." Honda smiled, patting Fire's back, making her yelp. "So you're stuck with us."
"I may be new with everyone here, but I want to be there for you guys friends who I can count on." Otogi nodded. Fire looked at them stunned for a moment while Yami smiled, placing his hand on her shoulder.
"They made up their minds, Fire." Yami replied.
"So it would seem." Fire weakly chuckled.
"So let's go in there." Honda grinned. They nodded as they all walked in the stadium, already seeing Kisara, Mokuba and Kaiba there.
"Are we the only ones here?" Kisara asked.
"As of now, yes." Kaiba remarked.
"Me, Kisara, Seto, Yami, and Shizuka. That's a total of 5." Fire muttered. "So we're missing 3."
"Seems that way." Yami muttered.
"Well, I'm not going to wait all night for them." Kaiba scoffed.
Up in the stands, Marik and Rishid observed the arriving finalists. Marik grinned upon seeing Yami and Fire.
"So those 2 made it, just as we expected." Marik grinned. He looked over and saw Shizuka with them. "Humph. So she took her pathetic brother's place in Seto Kaiba's tournament. I'm not sure if I should be mad, or laughing at the stupidity of that decision. Either way, the main pieces are here." He then turns to Rishid. "Rishid, you remember the plan, don't you?"
"I do." Rishid nodded. "To pose as you until the time is right."
"Excellent." Marik remarked.
"How long do you think we'd have to wait?" Anzu asked.
"Not long." Fire frowned.
"According to this, only 1 person is missing." Mokuba noted, looking over a folder in his hands.
"So the other 2 are already here?" Shizuka spoke, surprised.
"In the stands." Mokuba replied, pointing to where Marik and Rishid were sitting while not looking up from the folder. When Yami turned to look in the direction Mokuba was pointing to, the 2 weren't there. Instead, they were approaching from the entrance.
How did?! Yugi spoke to Yami. Never mind!
"Are we late?" Marik asked.
"Humph." Kaiba grunted, arms crossed. "We're still waiting on the last quarterfinalist."
"Hey!" Yami turned again to see Bakura coming towards them.
"Finally…" Kaiba muttered to himself.
Bakura's here? Yugi wondered.
"You know him?" Fire questioned.
"Oh right. You never got to meet Bakura." Anzu realized.
"So this is Karen?" Bakura asked, glancing at Karen, now with Fire in control of her body.
"Yeah. This is Karen Yamamoto." Honda nodded, motioning to Fire. "Karen, meet our friend, Ryou Bakura."
"It's nice to finally meet you Karen-san. The others told me a lot about you." Bakura smiled, holding his hand out to Fire.
"...Good things I hope." Fire only replied, shaking his hand.
"Alright you geeks!" Kaiba snapped. "Now that everyone is here, time to board the Kaiba Blimp!"
"I should hope you have room for 2 more Kaiba." They all looked to see Ishizu walking over to them with a woman with gold-orange sunset hair tied in a low ponytail, glass green eyes, lightly tanned skin, wearing a simple black dress with heels, a white jacket, and a feather charm.
"Ishizu?" Kisara blinked in surprise.
"Tsubasa?!" Fire gaped.
"What the hell do you 2 want?" Kaiba demanded before crossing his arms and shook his head. "You know what, I don't even care what it is you 2 want. This isn't a place for non-competitors of the Battle City Tournament. So get lost!"
"Nii-sama, come on. You're letting me and Yugi's friends in. So why not let them?" Mokuba asked.
"Because those 2 are connected to ancient gibberish I'd rather not hear in my tournament. Once is enough for me." Kaiba retorted.
"Is he always like this?" Tsubasa asked them.
"Mostly." Fire sighed. Kaiba gave Fire a glare, then turned back to Tsubasa and Ishizu.
"Alright fine! You 2 can come aboard." Kaiba snapped. "But if I hear anything about that Egyptian garbage, I'm kicking you both out of the blimp while it's in the air."
"So touchy." Tsubasa huffed, walking to Fire, whispering. "Where's Karen?"
"Soul Room right now." Fire muttered. Tsubasa frowned, but only nodded as they all went in the blimp. Kaiba grumbled as he, along with everyone else, entered the blimp. Once they did, the hatch closed and the blimp took off into the sky.
"The random selection will begin in 30 minutes." He told the other 7 quarterfinalists. "In the meantime, I have something I need to get." He turned to Shizuka. "Shizuka, you want a new deck, right? Then I suggest you follow me."
"O-Ok." Shizuka nodded.
"Where are you taking her?" Honda questioned skeptically. Kaiba glanced at Honda and scowled.
"None of your concern, peanut gallery." Kaiba remarked, turning on his heel and walking away. Shizuka followed behind him.
"Leave him be. He may act like that, but Seto does have a heart." Fire sighed, glancing at Ishizu and Tsubasa. "So how did you guys know we were here?"
"I met up with Ishizu here, who was coming to go with you guys so I decided to come." Tsubasa replied.
"I came to see this through. Not only as an Ishtar, but as a sister as well." Ishizu spoke. Yami nodded at Ishizu's words.
"Guys! There's food here!" Kisara waved to them. "Do you want any? There's still about 20 or so minutes before the start of the quarterfinals!"
"You guys go on; I'm going to my room." Fire replied.
"Alright." Bakura nodded as he proceeded to eat some food off the plate he got for himself.
"Are you sure Karen?" Otogi questioned. Fire only waved her hand as she went to her room.
"You think Karen is ok?" Anzu asked worriedly.
"Give her some space." Tsubasa replied lightly, walking past them. "She just needs a little rest."
"Yeah." Yami nodded.
Fire sighed softly in her room taking a seat before glancing at her bracelet.
"Karen." She spoke. It didn't take long for Karen to appear in her mind again.
"... I'm sorry for acting like this." Karen apologized sadly.
"Don't be sorry. It's ok." Fire told her gently. She watched Karen frown, not looking at her as she shook.
"I… I didn't know him as long as the others but… Is it ok for me? For me to be just as sad for his death?" Karen choked. Fire frowned sadly, gently patting Karen's head.
"Of course it's ok. Jonouchi-kun was your friend too." She told her. Karen choked as she let her tears fall, Fire sitting solemnly by her side.
Shizuka followed Kaiba nervously to the main deck of the blimp. Even with Fire's assurance, she couldn't help but be intimidated by him.
"Alright, we're here." Kaiba remarked, a small suitcase in his right hand. He turned around to face her after a few minutes. "Your replacement deck is in this suitcase. Aside from that, there are a few other things I need to tell you before the quarterfinals officially start. Whether you take what I say to heart to or not is up to you." He looked down at her with a hardened expression. "For starters, stop looking so nervous. If you want to win this whole tournament for the sake of that brother of yours, look tough and confident." She jumped at his words before quickly nodding.
"Er right." She said.
"Come on. I know you can show more confidence than that." Kaiba told her. "Say it like you mean it. Your brother certainly had confidence to keep going despite the odds that got put in front of him." Kaiba then crossed his arms. "Go on. Say it louder. Once you get the confidence down, then I'll help you learn that Deck."
Ugh! What am I doing?! Kaiba thought somewhat angrily. I'm helping that 3rd rate duelist's sister learn how to play Duel Monsters! If any of the others found out, I'll never hear the end of it! He internally groaned. I blame Mokuba for this. Shizuka looked at Kaiba, surprised by his words before recalling what Fire told her.
"Give him the benefit of the doubt." Fire spoke calmly. "He may be difficult, but at times like these, he does have a heart."
He does in his own way. She thought with a tiny smile.
"Do you want to win this whole tournament?" Kaiba asked her, with a small bit of sharpness in his question. "If not for yourself, then for Jonouchi. Prove to everyone, including myself, that his death was not in vain! Your brother's legacy lives inside you now! Just as mine would for Mokuba and vice versa!" Shizuka stood firm and nodded.
"Of course. I want to honor my brother through the very game that gave him courage." She spoke. At her words, Kaiba's lips formed a small smile.
"It's a start." Kaiba nodded. "I would keep pushing you, but there's not much time left before the selection starts. So I'll help you learn your new Deck now. Considering there's only 10 minutes left, you'll still be going in blind to a degree."
"Please teach me all you can." She said. "I want to be able to do just as well as my brother did and even more."
"Great to hear." Kaiba remarked as he opened the suitcase to reveal the Deck. "Darklords. More fitting than those Archlords, no? Or would you prefer that Red-Eyes Deck that Kisara is holding on to for whatever reason?" She looked to the Deck before shaking her head.
"No this Deck is perfect. While I do want to honor my brother, I want to duel my own way. And I know I can't do that with the Archlords." She said.
"That is true." Kaiba agreed. "So as of now, this Deck is yours." He paused, then skimmed through the Deck to grab some combo cards. "Here. I won't tell you how to do the combo, but I want to see if you can figure it out first. If not, then I'll help." He paused again before adding. "It is unfortunate that reality is cruel and unfair. If it was fair, I don't think me and Mokuba would have been orphans." He chuckled. "Oh well. What happened in the past happened already. No point dwelling on it now." She looked at him surprised before giving a smile.
"I see. Thank you Kaiba-san." She said. Kaiba glanced at her and humphed.
"Don't mention it." He remarked somewhat coldly. She only smiled as she looked through the cards as Kaiba watched her. Unknown to them, Mokuba and Kisara secretly watched them. Smiling proudly at Kaiba. Kisara finished the last bite of her food before speaking to Mokuba.
"How nice of your brother." Kisara remarked.
"Yeah. Nii-sama always has a cold facade up, but even he knows what it's like to be in Shizuka's shoes." Mokuba replied.
"What do you mean?" Kisara asked.
"Me and Nii-sama were left in an orphanage after our birth parents died. We didn't have anyone but each other. Even when we had been adopted by Gozaburo Kaiba, he even at one point separated us so he could force Nii-sama in classes in order to train him to run Kaiba Corp." Mokuba explained with a sad smile. "But despite what happened, Nii-sama and I made sure to be strong for our dream."
"And you 2 achieved it." Kisara remarked, a small smile on her lips.
"We're getting there. And you and Karen have been a huge help to us." Mokuba smiled.
"Glad to hear it." Kisara grinned. She looked down at her watch. "Oh! Looks like it's that time. Dang already?"
"We better go then." Mokuba said.
Kisara nodded, tossing her paper plate in the trash before following Mokuba back to the central area of the blimp. Where all the other competitors were waiting. Including Kaiba and Shizuka.
"Looks like they haven't started yet." Kisara noted.
"It's about to." Kaiba remarked. Then they saw Isono on the stage as a machine was lifted up.
"What is that?" Honda blinked.
"Bingo machine." Fire stated, sipping her drink.
"The first match will be decided via lottery. The lottery will choose the first 2 Duelists to duel." Isono announced. "We'll use this ultimate bingo machine when we have a winner. Then we'll hold the lottery again. In other words, you won't know your opponent until the last minute. The machine contains 8 balls, one for each Duelist. And it will randomly select 2 balls."
"So this way, we don't know the strategy our opponent will use." Yami noted. "Let alone know who we're dueling until the 2 balls are picked."
"On your feet thinking and expecting the unexpected." Fire hummed. "Sounds like something Seto would do."
"But of course." Kaiba remarked. "Can't make it easy, even for myself."
"Now let us start the lottery for the first match." Isono said. "Ultimate Bingo, start!" The machine went off as the numbers mixed around. Shizuka watched nervously before one of the numbers came out. It was the number 3.
"The first Duelist is Duelist No. 3 Kisara!" Isono announced.
"You're up Kisara." Fire smirked.
"Oh!" Kisara spoke. "I wonder who I'll be facing?"
"And her opponent will be…" Isono spoke, as the machine picked the next number. "Duelist No. 6 Ryou Bakura!"
"Me?" Bakura pointed to himself in surprise. "I didn't think I'd be picked this early."
"You sure you'll be up for it Bakura?" Anzu asked.
"Not like he has a choice." Honda replied.
"Kisara vs Ryou Bakura. The match will be held at the Battle Ship's special Duel Ring - the Sky Duel Field!" Isono announced. "Competitors, take the central elevator to the Duel Field."
"Right!" Kisara nodded, heading to the central elevator. Bakura slowly followed behind her. Fire watched them go as she followed the others out before going to Yami.
"Yami, is there something… Odd about Bakura I should know about?" She muttered to him. Yami glanced at Fire, then looked away.
"Yes." Yami remarked. "You see, Bakura has the Millennium Ring. But that's not my concern. My concern is the spirit within the Millennium Ring."
"Another spirit in a Millennium Item besides us?" She questioned, shocked.
"Yes." Yami confirmed. "But unlike us, he is malevolent and will do anything to get the Millennium Items into his hands." He frowned before adding. "Kisara may not have a Millennium Item, but since she has a connection to the past, Marik and Bakura will want to get rid of her as soon as possible."
"That much is obvious since Marik had his Rare Hunters try to kill Kisara twice already." Fire growled. "And if that spirit in the Millennium Ring is as evil as you say, then this Duel won't be easy."
"Especially not for Kisara." Yami agreed. "If it was me instead, this would be a little bit easier."
"With how you say that, you have dueled with him before, haven't you." Fire frowned.
"I have." Yami nodded. "Back in Duelist Kingdom. Although it was a Shadow Game."
"A Shadow Game…" Fire muttered.
"Yes." Yami confirmed. "He may try a Shadow Game here. If he does, I'll have to step in and stop it. Since we both know Kaiba won't."
"Something tells me it won't be that simple or as simple as that." Fire frowned, as they all reached above. They walked outside of the blimp to witness the Duel Ring rising upward. Both Kisara and Bakura on the duel field.
"They're actually going to duel up there?" Shizuka questioned, shocked.
"A stage worthy of the quarterfinals." Otogi remarked.
"That's right." Kaiba remarked. Shadows fell over Bakura's eyes, his lips slowly curving into a dark smile.
This'll be amusing. Yami Bakura thought, now in control of his human counterpart's body.
"He's already taken over." Fire muttered.
"Yeah." Yami agreed.
"Are you prepared to lose everything, Blue-Eyes Maiden?" Bakura questioned. Kisara narrowed her blue eyes at Bakura.
That's not Ryou Bakura. Kisara thought. So then, who is he?
"I'm not sure who you are, but I'll still beat you." Kisara retorted.
"Begin the first match of the Battle City finals!" Isono announced.
"DUEL!"
"I'll make the first move." Yami Bakura spoke as he drew his card. (Yami Bakura's hand: 6 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) Yami Bakura looked at his hand and grinned.
"I'll start by activating Trade-In." Yami Bakura spoke, revealing Archfiend Empress. "By sending her to the GY, I can draw 2 more cards from my Deck." He discarded the monster, then drew 2 more cards. "Heh….. Exactly what I need. I Summon Melchid the Four-Faced Beast in ATK Mode!" The 4-faced small fiend appeared onto Yami Bakura's field. (Melchid the Four-Faced Beast, Level 4 DARK Fiend-type monster, ATK/DEF: 1500/1000. Yami Bakura's hand: 5 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) "That'll do for now."
"Just a monster on the field in ATK position with no face-downs." Otogi frowned.
"Is that really it?" Kisara wondered aloud as she drew for her turn. "I Summon Blue-Eyes Wyvern in ATK Mode!" The small dragon that had a similar appearance to Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared onto Kisara's field. (Blue-Eye Wyvern, Level 4 LIGHT Dragon-type monster, ATK/DEF: 1800/1500. Yami Bakura's hand: 5 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 4000. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) "Attack his monster now!" The wyvern unleashed its dragon breath; thus destroying the monster. Yami Bakura tsked in response. (Yami Bakura's LP: 4000 - 300 = 3700. Yami Bakura's hand: 5 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 3700. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) Kisara then grabbed a card from her hand. "I set 1 card and end my turn. "Why don't you try again."
"I will!" Yami Bakura retorted as he drew. (Yami Bakura's hand: 6 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 3700. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) "I Summon the Portrait Spirit in ATK Mode!" A portrait with a fiendish spirit appeared out of it. (Portrait Spirit, Level 4 DARK Fiend-type monster, ATK/DEF: 1200/1500. Yami Bakura's hand: 5 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 3700. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) "That's it."
What's he doing?! Marik thought. I want the Blue-Eyes Maiden out the way so I can obtain the power I desire!
"What's the deal with all these weak monsters being Summoned by him?" Honda wondered aloud.
"I'm not sure." Yami admitted.
"My turn again. Draw!" Kisara declared. (Yami Bakura's hand: 5 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 3700. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
Not sure what his plan could be, but I better defeat him quickly. Kisara thought.
"Blue-Eyes Wyvern, attack his Spirit!" Kisara declared. Her dragon did so; tearing the portrait spirit to shreds. (Yami Bakura's LP: 3700 - 600 = 3100. Yami Bakura's hand: 5 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 3100. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) "Come on. I know you can do better than that."
"Humph! Draw!" Yami Bakura grunted. (Yami Bakura's hand: 6 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 3100. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) "I Summon the Headless Knight in ATK Mode!" A knight with silver and gold armor appeared, holding a sword. And as the name suggested, he had no head. (Headless Knight, Level 4 DARK Fiend-type monster, ATK/DEF: 1450/1700. Yami Bakura's hand: 5 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 3100. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
"So stronger than the 2nd monster, but weaker than the 1st." Kisara noted.
"Then it should be no problem for you to defeat." Yami Bakura remarked.
What's he doing? I want the Blue-Eyes Maiden defeated as soon as possible! Marik thought. Or is he just giving her the win?!
"I don't get it." Honda frowned.
"Yeah. This seems too easy." Shizuka frowned deeply.
"He could've at least had those monsters in DEF Mode, yet went for ATK instead." Fire frowned. Yami watched carefully as Kisara drew for her turn and Summoned another Blue-Eyes Wyvern.
"Now my Wyverns, attack his monster and his Life Points directly!" Kisara declared. Wyvern #1 destroyed Yami Bakura's monster, then Wyvern #2 went in for a direct attack. Yami Bakura staggered backwards a bit from the 2 attacks. (Yami Bakura's LP: 3100 - 350 - 1800 = 950. Yami Bakura's hand: 5 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
"You've lost 3050 LP." Kisara told him.
Whatever his plan is, it better kick in now or he's finished. Kisara thought. Yami Bakura then began to chuckle, then laugh like a madman.
"I should thank you for that." Yami Bakura grinned darkly. "Now it's over for you. 3 of my monsters needed to be destroyed in order for me to Summon this all powerful beast. Now I banish all 3 of my destroyed Fiends in order to Special Summon this! Arise! Dark Necrofear!" A dark spirit appeared onto the field, flying around them to their shock before taking shape in a dark aura holding its broken marionette doll as it crackled. (Dark Necrofear, Level 8 DARK Fiend-type monster, ATK/DEF: 2200/2800. Yami Bakura's hand: 5 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
"What is that?!" Kisara gaped.
"A monster with dark secrets just waiting to activate and destroy you." Yami Bakura cryptically replied. "But….." He grabbed 2 cards from his hand and set them. "I'm not ready to attack yet. So I'll end my turn there." (Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
"He isn't attacking?" Honda questioned.
He must have something else planned. Fire thought with a frown.
"My turn!" Kisara spoke as she drew a card. (Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 6 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) She looked at her hand, then back at Yami Bakura.
"You'll regret not attacking when you had the chance, because I now activate the Spell card, Cost Down! By discarding 1 card from my hand, I can reduce the Levels of all monsters in my hand by 2 for this turn." She discarded a card from her hand, then pulled another card out of her hand. "And since this monster's Level has been reduced by 2, it only needs 1 Tribute. So I Tribute 1 Blue-Eyes Wyvern in order to Summon this! Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" The wyvern vanished, and soon was replaced by the legendary white-scaled, and blue-eyed dragon. Blue-Eyes White Dragon roared in Bakura's direction. (Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Level 8 LIGHT Dragon-type monster, ATK/DEF: 3000/2500. Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.)
"So it's true…." Yami Bakura muttered, his lips reforming a dark smile. "The legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon has more than 1 owner… Or in your case, the original owner, Blue-Eyes Maiden."
"Original owner?" Anzu questioned.
"Who cares?" Kaiba scowled. "If Kisara's next 2 attacks succeed, the duel is over."
"Now Blue-Eyes White Dragon, attack Dark Necrofear! White Lightning!" Kisara told her Dragon. The dragon obeyed by opening its mouth and fired a lightning blast at Dark Necrofear; thus destroying it.
"Heh heh heh….. Thank you once again Blue-Eyes Maiden." Yami Bakura grinned as his LP fell to 150. "Because of that, you've enabled me to activate 1 of the most powerful cards in my Deck. Dark Sanctuary!" A dark castle surrounded the entire field with creepy eyes and mouths. (Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 150. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 4000.) "Well done Blue-Eyes Maiden! If you hadn't destroyed those 4 monsters, this strategy wouldn't be complete."
"Now what?" Kisara wondered.
"Heh heh heh… That's up to you." Yami Bakura remarked.
Of course, no matter what she does, I'll activate my most devastating card at the end of her turn! Yami Bakura thought.
Why would he go through the trouble to get a Field Spell active on the field? Kisara wondered. It must have strong effects. But what are they? I suppose I'll find out as the duel progresses.
"What's the matter?" Yami Bakura spoke, snapping Kisara out of her thoughts. "Afraid to attack me again?" Kisara looked at Yami Bakura and scoffed.
"As if I'd be afraid to attack you when you have such a low LP." Kisara retorted. "Blue-Eyes Wyvern, attack him directly!" As soon as the wyvern went into attack, Yami Bakura's eyes widened with dark glee.
"Evil ghost counterattack!" Yami Bakura grinned. As soon as he said that, a ghost came out of Blue-Eyes Wyvern and struck Kisara.
"Ugh! What just happened?! My monster's attack was blocked and I took the attack instead!" Kisara gaped.
"Hahaha!" Yami Bakura laughed. "You see, the evil ghost of the Dark Sanctuary possessed your monster!"
"So that's what's going on." Fire frowned.
"And possession is only one of many abilities my Dark Sanctuary has." Yami Bakura continued. "For insistence, since you attacked with the possessed monster, you take damage equal to half your monster's ATK points." Kisara tched as her LP fell to 3100. "But don't worry! The LP you just lost will be put to good use! Increasing my own! Hahahaha! (Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 1050. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 3100.)
"So that means if Kisara attacks with the possessed monster, she'll be the one taking damage instead." Otogi frowned.
"That's not good." Honda added.
"Oh no." Shizuka frowned deeply.
"Kuh…..! I end my turn." Kisara grunted. "And since I have, the effect of my White Stone of Ancients activates! Since it was sent to the GY this turn, I can Special Summon 1 Blue-Eyes monster from my Deck!" A card ejected out of Kisara's Deck. "I Special Summon Dragon Spirit of White from my Deck!" A white spirited dragon appeared onto Kisara's field. (Dragon Spirit of White, Level 8 LIGHT Dragon-type monster, ATK/DEF: 2500/2000. Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 1050. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 3100.)
So long as Kisara attacks with Blue Eyes Wyvern, she'll only hurt herself since it's possessed. But if she can avoid using it, she'd be safe. Fire thought, before frowning. But is it really that simple?
"Dragon Spirit of White's effect activates!" Kisara announced. "Since she was Normal or Special Summoned, I can banish 1 Spell/Trap you control!" She pointed her right index finger at Dark Sanctuary. "And I choose your Dark Sanctuary!" Dragon Spirit of White opened its mouth and fired a white spirit beam towards Yami Bakura's Dark Sanctuary Field Spell.
"With this, the Field Spell will be gone." Anzu smiled.
"Great!" Honda grinned. "See ya Dark Sanctuary!" Just as the beam from Dragon Spirit of White was about to connect and make the Field Spell vanish, Yami Bakura's eyes widened with dark glee.
"Foolish Maiden! You just triggered my Trap cards!" Yami Bakura countered. "First up is Infinite Impermanence! This Trap negates your Dragon Spirit of White's effect for the turn! Not like that matters! As for the other Trap card, arise Destiny Board!" A large version of Dark Necrofear appeared, holding a board with letters and numbers on it. Dragon Spirit of White on the other hand, greyed out and its mouth shut; stopping its effect.
"Tch….!" Kisara grunted.
"As for the Destiny Board, it gains 2 letters right now!" Yami Bakura grinned. "The first being the letter D!" Dark Necrofear moved the marker to the letter D, which then appeared above the board. "And the 2nd letter, E!" The marker then moved to the letter E, which appeared after D. On top of that, a card ejected out of Yami Bakura's Deck and he placed the card in his Spell/Trap Zone. He laughed darkly. "In just 3 more of your pathetic turns, my Destiny Board will spell out its message for you, you'll lose absolutely everything dear Maiden! Hahahaha!"
"What? In just 3 more of Kisara's turns, she'll lose?" Shizuka asked, worried.
"Kisara isn't one to lose too easily." Fire frowned.
"How do you figure?" Shizuka asked her. "Oh. Didn't you duel her before?"
"My turn! Draw!" Yami Bakura spoke. (Yami Bakura's hand: 4 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 1050. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 3100.) Yami Bakura looked at the card he drew and grinned. "Excellent. I activate Pot of Greed to draw 2 more cards." He did so. After he did, his grin widened.
"The final few pieces. Nothing can stop my strategy now." Yami Bakura sneered. "I'll set 1 card, then activate The Dark Door!" The spell card with the artwork of, well...a dark door appeared. "So long as my Dark Door Spell in play, we can only attack once per turn!"
"What?!" Kisara gaped.
"Of course, that's inconsequential for me." Yami Bakura remarked. "Since attacking you or your monsters isn't my aim at all. However… For the purpose of keeping my Dark Sanctuary around a bit longer, attacking this one time won't hurt. I return my 3 banished Fiends into my Deck in order to Special Summon Curse Necrofear from my hand!" A taller version of Dark Necrofear appeared onto Yami Bakura's field in a similar fashion to Dark Necrofear. (Curse Necrofear, Level 8 DARK Fiend-type monster, ATK/DEF: 2800/2200. Yami Bakura's hand: 2 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 1050. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 3100.)
"A different version of the original Necrofear." Fire frowned.
"Indeed." Yami frowned. "Wonder what this one does?"
"Oh you lot will find out soon enough." Yami Bakura retorted. "But first, Curse Necrofear, attack Dragon Spirit of White!" The fiendish creature used its eye lasers to destroy the Dragon Spirit. "Since it was in DEF Mode, you don't take damage. I end my turn. But before I pass it to you, I have a price to pay to keep my Dark Sanctuary in play. And that's to sacrifice a monster. So Curse Necrofear, fulfill your purpose!" Curse Necrofear cried out before shattering. "Now it's your turn."
"Draw!" (Yami Bakura's hand: 2 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 1050. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 3100.)
Alright, what to do? I can't attack with Blue-Eyes Wyvern since it's possessed by that ghost. She turned to Blue-Eyes White Dragon. So I'll attack with her instead.
"Blue-Eyes White Dragon, attack his Life Points directly!" Kisara announced. "White Lightning!" Just as the dragon opened its mouth, Yami Bakura laughed.
"Evil ghost counterattack!" Yami Bakura revealed. The same ghost from earlier flew out of Blue-Eyes White Dragon and slammed into Kisara.
"Kuh….!" Kisara tched. "So you…..swapped your ghost's position…!"
"Correct!" Yami Bakura confirmed. "You see, during each of your turn's Main Phase 1s, I can have my ghost possess a different monster of yours." His dark gin widened. "And because you attacked with the possessed, you lose more LP, while I gain that much!" (Kisara's LP: 3100 - 1500 = 1600. Yami Bakura's LP: 1050 + 1500 = 2550. Yami Bakura's hand: 2 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 2550. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 1600.)
"Now I get it. With this, Bakura can have the ghost possess any of Kisara's monsters. And because of his Dark Door Continuous Spell, only one of her monsters can attack. But she won't know which one is possessed." Fire frowned. "And if she makes a wrong move, it'll cost her more LP."
"Yes." Yami nodded with a frown. "A strategy befitting of Bakura."
"I…...end my turn…." Kisara grunted.
"And because you have, the 3rd letter for my word appears!" Yami Bakura revealed as the marker moved to the letter A.
"Now it says D-E-A." Anzu frowned deeply.
"You have no idea of the true terrors that lie in this Deck of mine!" Yami Bakura sneered as he drew. (Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 2550. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 1600.) Yami Bakura looked at the card he drew before setting it.
"I'll set 1 card, then I'll Summon Dark Spirit of Malice." Yami Bakura spoke. A skeletal fiendish spirit appeared onto his field. (Dark Spirit of Malice, Level 3 DARK Fiend-type monster, ATK/DEF: 1600/0. Yami Bakura's hand: 1 card. Yami Bakura's LP: 2550. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 1600.) "I now sacrifice my Dark Spirit in order to keep my Sanctuary in play. Go ahead if you dare." (Yami Bakura's hand: 1 card. Yami Bakura's LP: 2550. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 1600.)
"Draw!" (Yami Bakura's hand: 1 card. Yami Bakura's LP: 2550. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 1600.)
Now let's see… Who to possess next? Yami Bakura thought as he watched his ghost swirl around Kisara's field. His eyes landed on Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Yes! She'll never suspect Blue-Eyes White Dragon twice in a row!
I gotta figure this out before I lose even more LP. Kisara thought. Not just that, but I also have to figure out which monster on my field is possessed. She looked between her Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Blue-Eyes Wyvern. But which one is it? I can only attack once due that Dark Door of his. She looked at her The White Stone of Power in her hand. I know it's not this monster, cause I just drew it. Oh well. I'll just Summon it in DEF Mode to protect myself.
"I Normal Summon The White Stone of Power to my field in DEF Mode." Kisara spoke as the white crystal stone appeared in between her Blue-Eyes monsters. (The White Stone of Power, Level 1 LIGHT Dragon-type monster, ATK/DEF: 0. Yami Bakura's hand: 1 card. Yami Bakura's LP: 2550. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 1600.)
"Ha! A pointless move." Yami Bakura told her. "Nothing can protect you from the power of the Dark Sanctuary's ghost!"
"We'll see about that." Kisara retorted. "But before i continue, I must point something out."
"Hmm? What is it?" Yami Bakura questioned.
"Our Duel Disks are only permitted to allow 5 Monsters and 5 Spell/Traps at a time." Kisara remarked. "Which means you can't spell out your entire word."
"How observant of you Maiden." Yami Bakura retorted before he sneered. "However….that's of no consequence to me! You see, so long as my Dark Sanctuary is in play, I can use my Monster Zones as Spell/Trap Zones. So regardless of that rule, I can still play the final 2 letters of the Destiny Board to ensure my victory over you in this duel!"
"So wait….." Kisara began before her eyes widened. "You can possess my monsters, make me take damage equal to half the possessed monster's ATK if it attacks, you gain that much, and you can have more than 5 Spell/Traps at a time?! And all it takes to keep that Field Spell on the field is just Tribute a monster on your field during each of your End Phases?!"
"Hahahaha! That's the gist of the Dark Sanctuary!" Yami Bakura laughed darkly.
"Tch…..! Well I'm attacking with my Wyvern, since it has less ATK!" Kisara retorted as she watched her wyvern leap towards Yami Bakura.
She didn't attack with the possessed monster, but that's fine! I have a card to change all that! Yami Bakura thought.
"You triggered my Trap card! Dark Spirit of the Silent!" Yami Bakura revealed. "This card stops your wyvern from attacking me. Did you honestly believe I'd let you attack my Life Points directly? Never! So instead, Blue-Eyes White Dragon shall attack instead!"
"No! So she's the possessed monster!" Kisara realized.
"That's correct, so suffer another 1500 LP loss!" Yami Bakura laughed as Kisara took the attack; thus she staggered backward. "And while you become weaker, I become stronger! Hahaha!" (Yami Bakura's LP: 2550 + 1500 = 4050. Kisara's LP: 1600 - 1500 = 100. Yami Bakura's hand: 1 card. Yami Bakura's LP: 4050. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.)
"Oh no! Kisara!" Shizuka gaped.
Excellent work! Marik spoke to Yami Bakura via their telepathic connection. Soon the Blue-Eyes Maiden will lay dead at these fools' feet! And her Deck will be mine too! Since it's filled with rare and powerful cards. Yami Bakura rolled his eyes at Marik's words.
Once I win, I'm tossing her body overboard. Yami Bakura told him. No need to keep a dead body up here.
Fine. But I'm still taking her Deck. Marik remarked telepathically.
Do what you will. Yami Bakura replied.
"I…...end my turn….." Kisara spoke in a small whisper. Afterwards, the 4th letter appeared; T.
"Ah good. My turn, draw!" Yami Bakura spoke. (Yami Bakura's hand: 2 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 4050. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.) He grabbed a card from his hand. "I activate the Spell card, Card of Sanctity! This lets us both draw until we each hold 6 cards in our hands." They both drew until they held 6 cards. (Yami Bakura's hand: 6 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 4050. Kisara's hand: 6 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.)
"Now that my hand is full, I'll activate Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy the Dark Door. Since its presence is no longer required." Yami Bakura continued. "I set 1 card and Summon Fiendish Rhino to my field in ATK Mode. That ends my turn." A fiendish-looking rhino appears onto Yami Bakura's field. (Fiendish Rhino, Level 3 EARTH Fiend-type monster, ATK/DEF: 1400/900. Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 4050. Kisara's hand: 6 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.) "Now normally I'd Tribute my monster, but I see no need to do so. So Dark Sanctuary, begone!" And with that, the Dark Sanctuary shattered.
"Why did he do that?" Honda wondered. "If he had simply Tributed his Fiendish Rhino and not used Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy his Dark Door Continuous Spell, wouldn't he have won the duel anyway?"
"Not if he has something else planned." Fire countered.
"Something else?" Anzu questioned.
"Yes." Yami nodded, a frown evident on his face. Kisara placed her right hand on top of her Deck.
What am I to do? Kisara thought. I have to win this turn, or he'll spell out his word for the Destiny Board.
The moment she draws her card for her turn, I win! Yami Bakura thought gleefully.
"Blue-Eyes Maiden." Yami Bakura spoke up, getting Kisara out of her thoughts. "If you surrender now, I can promise you that your death will be a quick and painless one."
Kisara, now is the time for you to prove your worth as the Blue Eyes Maiden. Fire thought, clutching her hands tightly. Kisara looked up at Yami Bakura, then at her hand, then back at Yami Bakura.
"I refuse." Kisara retorted. Yami Bakura was suddenly taken aback by her response.
"...What?" Yami Bakura questioned.
"Why would I surrender to you?" Kisara replied. "There's too much at stake for me to lose here, let alone surrender!" Yami Bakura tched, then his lips formed a dark smile.
"It doesn't matter. The moment you draw for your turn, I win!"
"Let's find out!" Kisara shot back. "Draw!" (Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 4050. Kisara's hand: 7 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.)
"I win! Trap Card activate! Sentence of Doom!" Yami Bakura laughed as his face-down card revealed itself. "Now by sending this face-up card to the GY, I can get the final Spirit Message card to my field!" Just as the card glowed, Kisara's lips formed a smile.
"Are you sure about that?" Kisara grinned.
"What?"
"Counter Trap! White Wrath!" Kisara revealed. "When you activate a Spell/Trap, or a monster effect while I control a Blue-Eyes monster, I can negate its activation and destroy it!"
"No!" Yami Bakura's eyes twitched as his card shattered. Despite that, he just laughed. "All you've done was delay the inevitable! Once your turn ends, I still win!"
'Don't be so sure." Kisara smiled as she pulled a card from her hand after playing Trade-In to send Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon from her hand to the GY to draw 2 cards. "I Tribute my Stone and Wyvern in order to Summon a 2nd Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" A 2nd copy of Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared onto Kisara's field. Upon that happening, Kisara felt a pulse from the one of the cards she just drew via her Trade-In. She looked at it and smiled.
"She's smiling. Is that a good thing?" Honda questioned.
"Hmph. This Duel is as good as won." Fire smirked.
"I activate Blue-Eyes Fusion! Kisara revealed. "I fuse the 2 Blue-Eyes White Dragons on my field and 1 from my Deck!"
"You do what?!" Yami Bakura gaped as the 3 Dragons flew into the Fusion Portal above Kisara's side of the field.
"Evolve the strongest dragon, and imprint it on its eyes! Fusion summons! It's time to show up! Level 12! Neo Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon!" The massive three-headed dragon slammed its feet onto the ground behind Kisara; roaring at Yami Bakura. (Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, Level 12 LIGHT Dragon-type Fusion monster, ATK/DEF: 4500/3800. Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 4050. Kisara's hand: 5 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.) At the sight of the card, Kaiba and Yami Bakura stiffened. In Kaiba's case, out of shock.
No way! An evolution to my Ultimate Dragon?! Kaiba thought. Unlike Kaiba, Yami Bakura regained his composure and laughed.
"You honestly think that you'll beat me this turn with that monster?" Yami Bakura questioned.
"I'm certain of it." Kisara grinned as she thrusted her right hand forward after playing Quick Attack. "Battle! Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, attack Fiendish Rhino! Neo Burst Stream of Destruction!" The three-headed dragon opened its mouth and fired at the small rhino fiend. Just as the 3 blasts were about to connect, Yami Bakura's lips formed a dark smile as he discarded a card from his hand.
"Dark Spirit of Banishment's effect activates!" Yami Bakura revealed. "You see, when you declared your attack, I discarded it to Special Summon Archfiend Empress from my GY in DEF Mode! Its effects may be negated, but your attack is redirected to her!" The 3 blasts changed course and slammed into the Empress, but nothing happened.
"What? How come my attack didn't destroy your monster?"
'Hahahaha! Thanks to my Fiendish Rhino, so long as he's face-up on my field, all other Fiend monsters I control cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects!" Yami Bakura explained.
"Oh no! So Kisara really is going to lose?" Shizuka wondered aloud.
"Don't be so sure." Yami replied. "I saw this monster before. If it's the only monster on Kisara's field, she can send 2 Fusion monsters from her Extra Deck to the GY, then her Neo Blue-Eyes can attack 2 more times." Marik on the sidelines scowled.
It's time for a little chat… He thought as he appeared in Yami Bakura's mind.
It looks like you've underestimated the Blue-Eyes Maiden and her prowess. Marik told him.
I'm aware of her power! Yami Bakura snapped. Even if she does attack 3 times, I STILL survive this turn and my message from Destiny Board will be completed!
Don't be a fool. Marik warned. That may be true, but the Blue-Eyes Maiden is the one to have the original powers of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Which means she is a master of its power. Which also means she knows how to evolve it. It seems Maximillan Pegasus has taken advantage of this and turned her power into an entire archetype of Blue-Eyes cards.
Grrrrrrrr…! Yami Bakura growled. It doesn't matter!
Don't complain to me if Kisara proves you wrong. Marik told him.
"Since Neo Blue-Eyes attacked successfully, I can send 1 Blue-Eyes Fusion monster from my Extra Deck to the GY, she can attack again!" Kisara pulled Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon out of her Extra Deck. "I send Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon from my Extra Deck to my GY to allow Neo Blue-Eyes to attack again! And speaking of attacking again, Neo Blue-Eyes, attack Fiendish Rhino! With Neo Burst Stream of Destruction!" The three-headed dragon opened its mouth and fired the 3 beams of energy at the small fiend; thus destroying it in a blinding light. Yami Bakura cried out as the light from the attack covered his field. Eventually, the light died down to reveal that only Archfiend Empress was left on his field. (Yami Bakura's LP: 4050 - 3100 = 950. Yami Bakura's hand: 2 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 4 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.) Kisara then sent Blue-Eyes Krystal Dragon from her Extra Deck to the GY to allow her Neo Blue-Eyes to attack Yami Bakura's Empress and destroy it.
"What a waste of a Battle Phase." Yami Bakura grinned. "Since you destroyed my Empress, Curse Necrofear returns!" The tall fiend returned to his field. "Now your turn is as good as over! Meaning that I win! I told you Maiden! Nothing you do can save you now!"
"Are you sure?" Kisara smiled as she moved to her Main Phase 2. "I activate the Continuous Spell, Beast of the White Dragon!" The spell with a dragon in the background of the card's artwork appeared. "Now discarding 1 card, I can perform a Fusion Summon by shuffling the Fusion Materials from my GY into my Deck. I shuffle 2 Blue-Eyes White Dragons and my Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon into my Deck to Fusion Summon!" Once again, the Fusion Portal appeared above Kisara's side of the field. The spirits of the 3 dragons flew into the Fusion Portal; thus swirling together. "Dragons of light fuse to become another self! Become a different new power waiting to be unleashed! Fusion Summon! Descend now! Level 12! Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon!" Out of the Fusion Portal came forth a 2nd three-headed Dragon. Like Neo Blue-Eyes, it roared with anger. (Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon, Level 12 LIGHT Dragon-type monster, ATK/DEF: 4500/3800. Yami Bakura's hand: 2 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.)
Another form to Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon?! Kaiba thought, his look of shock not gone from when Kisara Fusion Summoned Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
"Amazing….!" Shizuka breathed as she clasped her hands.
"I remember that card!" Mokuba spoke up. "It short circuited our tech Nii-Sama! When Karen and Kisara wanted to do a test duel for the duel disks."
"That's the one. Her true ace monster." Fire nodded.
"...So I see." Kaiba replied bluntly.
"This can't be happening….!" Yami Bakura gnashed his teeth. "I've come so close! I can't lose now!"
"So I take it that you're aware of what this card does." Kisara replied. "Firstly, Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon cannot be targeted or be destroyed by card effects. Secondly, once per turn I can target 1 card on your field and destroy it. But if I used Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon as Fusion Material, I can target and destroy up to 3 cards instead."
"No!" Yami Bakura growled.
Looks like I was right that you underestimated her power. Marik told him.
SHUT UP! Yami Bakura mentally screamed at Marik.
My my! SOMEONE'S not happy that his strategy failed. Marik smirked mentally. It's of no matter though. Thanks to you, I now know her entire Deck's strategy.
…..So you were using me to get you information. Yami Bakura deadpanned. No matter! I can still win this!
I find that very hard to believe at this point, but prove me wrong. Marik replied.
"Well, looks like Kisara was fine on her own." Yami smiled.
"Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon, destroy Destiny Board!" Kisara announced. Her new Fusion monster fired a bolt of energy from one of its three mouths at the Continuous Trap and destroyed it. Once that happened, the 3 Spirit Message Continuous Spells also shattered.
"All right!" Honda grinned. "Now she's not going to lose via that Trap card!"
"And there's no way he can Summon a monster strong enough to take either of her dragons down." Otogi smirked.
"I end my turn by placing 1 card face-down!" Kisara finished. (Yami Bakura's hand: 2 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 2 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.) "Now, what will you do? All you have to defend your LP is Curse Necrofear."
"That's all I need in order to survive!" Yami Bakura retorted snappily. "Draw!" (Yami Bakura's hand: 3 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 2 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.) Yami Bakura looked at the card he drew then set it. "I end with 1 face-down card. Now go already." (Yami Bakura's hand: 2 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 2 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.)
"Draw!" (Yami Bakura's hand: 2 cards. Yami Bakura's LP: 950. Kisara's hand: 3 cards. Kisara's LP: 100.) She looked at the card she drew, then thrusted her right hand forward.
"Battle!" Blue-Eyes Alternative Ultimate Dragon, attack Curse Necrofear!" Kisara commanded. The three-headed dragon unleashed its attack and destroyed it. "Now Neo Blue-Eyes, finish him! Neo Burst Stream of Destruction!" The 2nd three-headed dragon opened its mouth and fired its attack at Yami Bakura.
"If I'm going down….I'm taking you with me!" Yami Bakura snapped. "Trap card activate! Blazing Mirror Force!" A fiery barrier surrounded Yami Bakura as the beams collided with it. "This Trap card destroys your Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, then we both take damage equal to half its ATK!" At that, Kisara smiled.
"Are you sure?"
"What?"
"I activate a 2nd White Wrath!" Kisara revealed. "Sorry, but you're not getting me out of the tournament that way!" Blazing Mirror Force then shattered and Yami Bakura took the attack full force. While he did, he turned to look at Yami.
I may have lost here, but I'll eventually get all the Millennium Items! Once the smoke cleared, he was on the ground; back to Ryou Bakura. (Yami Bakura's LP: 950 - 4500 = 0.)
Aurasoul: And that's that!
Fire: By Ra this is just going on your own pace isnt it?
Aurasoul: Indeed it is! Hence why the next duel is something different so until next time everyone please read and review!
