Prologue
Mark Adler was talking to an officer from missing person. His wife and infant daughter didn't come home from a trip in town.
Giving a picture of Sarah and little Zoey, to John William, "We'll do what we can. Mr. Adler, but you have to remember after the first twenty-four hours we might not find them."
Adler looked at his other four children who wanted their baby sister, Zoey, "Daddy where is Zoey?" Hannah his four year old daughter asked her father.
"I don't know," he picked up and held her tight, "Let's go inside."
In Death
The next day William came by with some bed news, "Mr. Adler, we search high and low for Sarah Johns and she's not in any data banks, and she doesn't exist as does your daughter Zoey.
"You mean they were wiped from the system," Adler told them.
"That's what I'm thanking," William watch Adler as looked at his other kids who were playing on the back yard.
"You may never find them," Adler sighed, he was good to Sarah and now he wondered who she really was and where did they take their child.
"We'll keep looking Mr. Adler but…" William looked at the retired cop, "You know how this might turn out."
"Do what you can and my family well pray?"
