After several days of flying, Tails, Vector and their newest companion, Akhil land on the Isle of Babylon, the home of Akhil. The three head for the road, believing it may be too dangerous to fly towards Robotnik's tower, they wave to a truck driver who stopped to give them a lift. On there way to "who knows where" Tails and Vector spot two familiar aircrafts on the beach. One belonging to Charmy, the other to Bark. Without saying a word they mourned the loss of their friends.
Meanwhile, at the top of Robotnik's tower, Snively drags Cosmo to a chopper that has landed on the helipad at the top.
"Remember your part of the bargain. She gives you the information you need and you let my home go in peace." said Shade as Snively waited for the chopper to land.
"The bargain? Why, I seem to remember that once I got the information I need I'd take my bots off the island and leave you and your people in peace." smiled Snively, rubbing his bearded chin "But I haven't gotten the information yet."
"You backstabbing son of a..."
Before Shade could say anything else Snively shot her with the same gun he used to kill his uncle. Shade fell to the floor, bleeding from her side and clenching it to keep all the blood from flowing out.
"Deploy the bots. Kill the prisoners. Destroy the island." Snively commanded to the lead robot, Omega "I no longer need it anymore."
Dragging Cosmo onto the chopper, Snively had ordered the pilot to take off for the Angel Island base.
"You?" Cosmo gasped, seeing the face of the pilot.
This is much shorter chapter. But the entire story will be nearing it's end pretty soon. Expect a lot more to happen in the next chapter. And expect more questions to be answered that were not answered here.
