Date!?
It was the morning and Izuku was brushing his teeth alongside Mineta and Aoyama.
"Oi, Midoriya, when are you going to bring Ashido to your room? I already have a peephole ready." He gurgled out before spitting into the sink.
'I already brought her though...' He thought with a sweatdrop. "Aoyama remind me to cover up his hole later." He had more important things on his mind than dealing with Mineta.
Mina and Uraraka shared rooms on the same floor and were the only two on that floor so it was rather awkward getting up for the both of them. They were avoiding each other without trying to make it seem like they were, with forced pleasantries when they did cross paths.
It was breakfast and they were all eating at the table. Izuku and Mina were sitting together with Tsuyu across from them. The frog girl abruptly shifted her focus from her food to the couple in front of her, as if recalling, "Oh I've been meaning to ask, where are you guys going for your first date?"
"Date!?" They both replied with blank expressions. They then looked at each other before reacting in their own ways.
"A-Actually, that's something boyfriends and girlfriends do, huh?" Midoriya rubbed the back of his head. They were both distracted by everything that's happened they haven't had a chance to talk or plan anything like that.
"Y-Yeah, they do." Mina was looking down trying to hide her blush and her hands were scrunched over on her lap. The thought of having a boyfriend was enough for butterflies to swirl in her stomach but going on a date with him! It caused the butterflies to flutter up to her chest.
"So... Y-You want to go out this weekend?" He stuttered, mostly because he was asking her out in front of the rest of the class. It felt like all the attention was on them, well actually it was. The class was the nosy type.
Mina, unlike Izuku, didn't notice the attention. She was only aware of the question he just asked. "O-Okay..."
As soon as she answered, the rest of the class broke the tension by cheering and having their usual loud breakfast.
"Kyaa! We have to go to the mall to get your outfit ready!" Toru, who was sitting on Mina's other side, was grabbing her arm in excitement. Mina was taken out of her shyness by her friend as they started talking about dates and stuff.
Izuku was happy when she said yes, initially, but then he realized he actually had to plan a date. 'I don't even know how to set one up and I doubt Kacchan will want to help me out this time!' He only thought of one person who might be able to help. 'I'll ask All-Might for help. Although I hope it's not something that's too personal for him to get involved with.'
That day, after school Mina and Toru went to the mall, mainly to hang out and be giddy as they tried out clothes but also got prepped for her date, physically and emotionally. Luckily for Izuku, All-Might was more than willing to give him some advice and help him prep, also he gave Izuku a pat on the back when he found out Ashido was his girlfriend.
"I'm happy for you, Young Midoriya! That Ashido is sure to be a spunky one!" Wink, wink.
"Er, All-Might, What do those winks mean? All-Might?.. What do those winks mean?!"
