The Idol Pair

It was the start of a new school week. The birds were resting on the branches as they chirped, welcoming the morning. Her horns wiggled under the blankets as she woke up. She yawned as she stretched out her body, getting tangled with the sheets as she rolled around. "Aaaaaah." She was in complete bliss, staring at the ceiling with a smile she didn't know she was wearing. "Last week today, I was a nervous wreck about what I did with Izuku, but now, I'm calling him my boyfriend because of it." She giggled to herself, hugging her pillow pretending it was him before getting ready for the day.

"Ugh, why is she so cute." Izuku was laying his bed, staring off in thought. "I can't stop thinking about her." Meaning he barely slept. He groaned, he had spent the night before staying up with her texting. Although unlike her, who went to sleep after texting him goodnight, he kept scrolling back and forth through their chat thread, smirking or chuckling to himself as he read it, just being a happy lovestruck idiot. Even as he got up and ready for the day he was full of energy, knowing he was going to spend time with his girlfriend.

Breakfast was as chaotic as usual with Izuku and Mina sitting next to each other, sharing a sweatdrop at their classmates' antics. They walked to school holding hands, with Toru talking to her on one side and Iida talking to him on the other side. The school body had noticed Izuku and Mina's new relationship and was already gossiping about it, already thought of as the cute couple within less than a week's time.

It was lunch and they were looking at where to sit but there was a problem. Momo, Iida, Todoroki, Tsuyu, and Uraraka were sitting at one table while Bakugo, Kirishima, Kaminari, Jiro, and Toru were sitting at the other.

It was a choice between Dekusquad and Bakusquad! Neither of them wanted to acknowledge that they were from two conflicting cliques within the class, with him specifically heading one of the groups.

They decided on neither and ate lunch together in the classroom instead with Aoyama, he even shared his cheese with them, welcoming their company.

Toru and Jiro were talking about Izuku and Mina, well, it was mostly Toru being concerned for her best friend. On the other table, Momo and Tsuyu were talking about the same thing. Kirishima and Uraraka did their best to ignore it, acting like they didn't care while eavesdropping.

"Do you think they've had their first kiss, ribbit?"

"I honestly don't know but I'm sure they are both being responsible and respectful... Well, at least Izuku is."

"You know, I always forget how close you and Midoriya are, you guys even refer to each other by your given names. I guess it's hard to tell because of how natural it is between you guys."

"Er, yes, that must be it Asui."

On the other side of the Chow hall, with Jiro and Toru, "Ugh, that Midoriya better not be taking advantage of Mina's naive nature."

Jiro's eyebrow and earjack raised. "Don't you think you got the roles reversed? Midoriya doesn't seem like he's the experienced type."

Toru would have given a proper rebuttal but Mina swore for her to keep what they talked about secret. "Well, as long as she's happy, I guess it doesn't matter." And she had a giggle because she thought she was the only one at the table that knew about Mina and Izuku sleeping together, although Bakogu grunted, annoyed by her smug knowingness. Kirishima wanted to ignore the part where Toru said Mina was happy but couldn't.

Bakugo, also, noticed his friend's bummed out mood he internally growled before sucking it up. "Oi, Kirishima, There's something I wanted to talk to you about. C'mon." Going with him to talk in private.

While most of the class's conversation was on the new couple, said couple was having a fun time, dining on cheese with Aoyama.

During one of the training exercises, Izuku caught Mina when she had slipped off a ledge, and all the girls watching on the big screen, gushed as he carried her bridal style. In the classroom, Mina had volunteered to answer a difficult question and she actually got it right. She was a bit bashful with a blush as she rubbed the back of her hair because everyone was surprised except Izuku, they had been studying together a lot lately.

The school day was over. Izuku and Mina were walking back to the dorms together, holding hands.

Toru, Momo, Tsuyu, and Jiro were behind them, talking about them. Tsuyu had her finger up to her lips as her tongue stuck out. "Those two are quickly becoming the idol couple of the school."

"Becoming? Bruh they already are." Jiro mentioned as she vibed on her phone.

"Even if that's true, they don't seem to notice." Toru had her arms crossed. Mina, herself would be the one most into this type of gossip, but now that she was in the center of it she didn't even care.

"They really are endearing in their own way aren't they?"

All of the females were nodding to Momo's question even Momo.

"You know... WE CAN HEAR YOU!" Izuku yelled back at them with shark eyes. "Seriously you guys are barely a few meters away."

Mina was simply giggling because she had been waiting for Izuku's flustered outburst. The females had a shared face of bewilderment before shrugging it off in unison. All of them began to walk back to the dorms together talking and joking like usual. Everyone seeing Midoriya and Ashido as the cute innocent couple of the school.

But during the night, Izuku went to visit Mina after she texted him that she couldn't sleep, missing his company. They both pretended that it wasn't going to lead to it, wanting to be that innocent couple,

And yet under the sheets was nothing but fidelity...
