Kool-aid Koolness
Yui Kodai was staring at the huge punch bowl after having taken a sip from her cup. The punch wasn't spiked. She didn't bother to glance left or right before using her quirk to reveal a liquor bottle then she poured some into her cup before nonchalantly dumping the rest into the bowl. She walked away saying to herself. "It's a party."
"Oh, look punch!" And obviously, it was Mina, Toru, Uraraka, and Momo.
Izuku, Iida, and Todoroki arrived at Jiro's place around sunset and the scene was already blasting. Kaminari had overloaded the speakers with Daft Punk and somehow they were still able to hear him yell about not being over their retirement.
Izuku had deadpan eyes. "I don't even remember the last time they released an album.
Iida had already infested the party with his rules.
"One more time..." Todoroki sang along with his monotone voice.
Izuku raised an eyebrow, not at Todoroki, but when he noticed students of other classrooms at the party. "Wait, it's not just our class?"
"Hm? Yeah, Kaminari and Mineta invited as many girls as possible and word spread quickly about the party."
Izuku facepalmed. "I was hoping it would be more small scale and simple."
"Do you even know our class?" Todoroki's voice made it hard to tell if he was being sarcastic.
"You got a point. C'mon, let's go look for Mina and the others."
"I wanna get you really drunk and hear you cry out, 'it's your power, not his."
"Todoroki, this is not winter break."
"That was a fun vacation. Thanks again for coming, you and Yaoyorozu made the trip more than bearable."
"Uh, yeah, don't mention it..." Izuku was hesitant to reply and quick to change the subject as they went to look for Mina and the others. "Speaking of vacations, we should plan a trip to the beach soon, right?"
"Yeah, sounds about right, at this point in the story. It's one of my favorite tropes."
"Really? I wouldn't have guessed. Mine's are flashbacks that recontextualize everything."
"That sounds about right."
Kirishima burped as he tossed the beer can. "I'm a dick." He sighed as he opened up another one. "Midoriya just wanted to clear things up but man, I let my feelings speak for themselves. I know I went too far but I told him what I had to." He took a chug. "But Midoriya's a dick too, he crossed a line with what he said." Taking another drink, clearly trying to swallow down his emotions. He let out a disgusted wheeze with a twitch in his eyes. "Why does it taste like expired water?"
Bakugo was with him. He also had a beer but had only taken one sip from it. "Yup, it's rough buddy." He was mostly sticking by his friend's side because he didn't wasn't him to do anything stupid, and maybe there was a hint of actual worry about his well-being. Or perhaps deep down Bakugo knew that Kirishima just wanted someone to hear his woes.
Midoriya and Todoroki had run into Yui Kodia.
"Izuku."
"Oh hey Yui, have you seen Mina by any chance."
"Mm..." She raised her cup to take a small sip before pointing at the makeshift dance floor.
There she was with her friends, all of them with a cup in their hands, swaying their hips to the bumping music. Izuku grew a small smirk seeing his girlfriend's outfit. She was wearing those unbuttoned cargo shorts and the spaghetti-strap tank top, she was wearing the same clothes as the day they started this but what made it even better was that she was wearing the sweater he gave her that night.
"Hey, stop giving me googly eyes and join us!" Mina called out, having spotted him and waving.
"Welp, I'ma go get what's mine." And it was hard to figure out if he was talking about his sweater or his girlfriend. As Izuku was walking to them the song had ended. Mina used the opportunity to run up to him and clasped his hand, dragging him back with her.
"We have to hurry!" She urged.
"What's the rush?" He asked with a chuckle to it.
Mina turned her face to him, their eyes locking. She had tilted her head causing her bushy hair to sweep across like a gentle wave and her horns had that always playful bounce. Her cheeks had flush only a shade darker than her lively pink skin, which had a thin layer of sweat giving a slight glisten to her appearance. Even though she was panting a bit she had a giddy smile, earnestly speaking. "Because, I've been waiting to dance with you since we started dating..!"
"Oh, M-Mina, that's...-" He was taken aback and didn't know how to reply. It was too wholesome for him to handle.
"Any request?" Jiro asked because Kaminari had short-circuited and was no longer fit to DJ.
"Yeah, Sex on fire by Kings of Leon for my boyfriend!" Mina yelled out followed by a high-pitched whoo, before taking a sip of her cup and winking at him. Mina and the girls were definitely getting tipsy.
Izuku tried to hide his blush by pretending he was facepalming because although it was seen as simply a raunchy request, he knew she was talking about the night at the hotel. "Oh my god, Babe, stop, please. It was such a nice moment too."
Everyone just wanted to have a good time.
