Drop that..!
Mina was panting, using the wall and Izuku to help keep herself held up. They were recovering in an exhausted embrace. Her arms were loosely around his neck and her hands were lazily petting his green locks of hair, as he rested his face on the crook of her neck with his moist breaths beating against her skin. The cold night air was complementing their body heat as their heart rate lowered to a calm pace.
"This is nice," Izuku repeated but this time with a heavy exhale, also leaving butterfly kisses on her collarbone.
"Mhmm..." Was all she could sigh out.
He didn't know what it was but there was something about calming down the spunky energetic alien girl. He loved seeing her go from bouncing around, not knowing how to stay still, to needing to catch her breath, only able to whisper sweet nothings as she recovered in his arms. The best part was that it was like a precious private side of Mina that only he was able to witness.
In the backyard, the dancing had died down a bit. Uraraka, Tokoyami, Kirishima, and Momo were chilling on the patio with Jiro, who was taking care of the overloaded Kaminari. They were sitting at some tables, taking a break.
"Oh, that was fun!" Uraraka smiled as she wiped some sweat off her forehead, "I didn't know you could dance like that Tokoyami." She slapped his back in cheer. "Same for Dark Shadow!"
He had his eyes closed and his arms crossed, taking the brunt of her force for what it was. "Hm, thank you, I was keen on never learning but Dark Shadow left me with no other option." He spoke, glad he didn't have to participate anymore. Dark Shadow emerged and thanked Uraraka for her compliment before he tried to get Tokoyami back out there.
The group laughed at the interactions. Momo tucked her loose strand of hair behind her ear as she turned to Kirishima. "It looks like you're having a better time than earlier."
His eyes wide a bit in the middle of his chuckle before calming down into a small smile. "I guess I have, huh." He was also drinking a bit slower, not chugging his beer, just taking a sip this time. "Hey, thanks Yao-momo!" Because she did keep his attention away from Mina and Izuku, distracting him with conversations and light-hearted banter.
"For what? We're all friends right?" She giggled and it caused the lock of hair tucked behind her ear to get loose again, but this time bringing along a few more strands, as her ponytail had become slightly undone from the dancing. She took a few more gulps from her drink, before setting it down. She tried to fix her hair again but this time made it worse. "But they have been gone for longer than I expected."
Although none of them admitted it, the lack of certain individuals was taking its effect.
Once the cool air had dried the light sweat from their bodies and they had recomposed themselves and fixed their clothes, they started to make their way back to the party. He had one arm over her shoulders with her leaning on him, as they walked side-by-side.
"Hey, Sweetie, I have a dumb question," He chuckled a bit as he gave some context. "I just thought of it because of how random you are, you know, like earlier when you asked about protection."
"Hm, yeah, what is it?" She wasn't really paying attention. She was busy playing with the hand that was lapped over her arm.
"Well, I was wondering, why did you ever ask me, i-if I was a v-virgin?"
That got Mina's attention. "Huh?" She glanced at him before looking straight ahead again, done messing with his hand, now playing with one of her horns. "Oh, you know I was just scrolling and saw something that caught my eye." She forced a giggle, "And you were the only one there, and it just came out, ah, hahaha, like you said, it was just one of my random things. Hey, let's hurry up I want another drink!" She urged with her hyper attitude, changing the focus.
"I mean hydrating is good but I think alcohol has the opposite effect."
"Oh really? But it's mixed with juice so it evens out."
"I guess, but that doesn't sound right." Izuku rubbed the back of his hair trying to crunch the numbers, but eventually shrugged his shoulders, deciding it didn't matter, it was a day to unwind after all.
Eventually, Izuku, Bakugo, and Todoroki came back to the group one by one. Todoroki and Yui had shown up just as they had disappeared, without anyone knowing how or when they returned. Bakugo walked out of the house but was obviously annoyed that Toru was latching on to his arm. He yelled at her but she only had an enamored smile that was literally beaming due to her quirk, ignoring all his threats. Izuku and Mina were the only ones that came back looking like they were in an actual relationship.
"Hey, Mina!" Toru sang out.
"Hey, Toru!" Mina sang back, sharing a knowing giggle with her best friend.
Izuku facepalmed at the adorable obliviousness of his girlfriend while Bakugo glared dynamite at anyone who dared talk about it, thankfully it looked like no one wanted to.
"Hey, Midoriya suggested we take a trip to the beach soon." Todoroki wasn't even trying to alleviate the mood because he wasn't aware of it, but still did lighten it somehow.
"Oh, that sounds lovely," Momo clasped her hands together to the idea.
Mina had been taking sips of her refilled drink since she got it, taking another as she turned to her boyfriend. "Really! You're my partner for chicken fight!"
Izuku chuckled. "I pick Tsu because her quirk works well around water,"
Mina elbowed her boyfriend, "You jerk, you can't get analytical about these things! You have to pick your girlfriend!"
"It was a joke, Babe," He wheezed.
"A part of me knew that." She had a sarcastic voice taking a sip.
"Worth it." He grumbled rubbing his ribs.
"Deku, when did you get the idea?" Uraraka chimed in with a smile, the beach sounded fun. "Oh guys, we should also make plans to see some fireworks!"
"Yeah babe, what made you think about it?" Mina had her cup close to her lips and her eyes close to her boyfriend.
He had a closed-eye smile, scratching his cheek. "O-Oh, nothing really, hehe." 'How do I always stutter on oh! It's not even a word!'
"We were talking about winter break remember, Midoriya." Todoroki tried to clear up his friend's thoughts. Even if Shoto wasn't drinking, he would still be too dense to realize what he was doing.
The two of them tensed as Mina took another drink, this time it was a few gulps.
Izuku kept his eyes closed for a bit longer as he composed himself. "Th-Thanks, Todoroki..." Opening his eyes, he was about to explain but she spoke up for him.
She fixed her loose strands of hair for the last time that night as she glanced at him, "Oh, then it'll be just like at the hot springs, ne, I-zu-ku-,"
She was interrupted by a pink drunk alien that had lost enough inhibition and could finally blurt out her fears.
"Oh my god, you're the one that slept with Izuku, aren't you!?"
