Conflict

Everyone was speechless after Mina's accusation. They glanced at her then at Momo and then at Izuku. Toru had her suspicions but never thought it was something so important, Bakugo had blank eyes of shock, not believing what he was hearing about Deku. Todoroki and Yui didn't have a reaction to it. Uraraka had covered her mouth as a gasp of shock escaped her. Kirishima was the most unpredictable of them, his eyes were shadowed. Jiro had stopped the music because of the words said to her friend, signaling the end of the party.

Izuku had wide eyes. Momo was trying to avoid meeting MIna or anyone else's gaze. Mina was waiting for an answer from either of them. He cleared his throat, turning to his girlfriend. "M-Mina, what-, how did you..?"

By now Mina had already finished her recently refilled drink and had tossed it aside during her claim. She cupped her mouth with both hands because his hesitation to answer the question was the confirmation she needed. "I feel like such an idiot!" Before running off.

"Mina, wait!" Izuku didn't hesitate to run after her but Kirishima was a man of his word and seeing that Mina was visibly upset by Izuku, out of nowhere, he decked him across the face. Everyone was so shocked that they could only react after the fact. Bakugo and Todoroki got ready to stop it.

"I warned you, Midoriya!" Kirishima looked like he was ready for a fight.

Izuku wiped his mouth because his bottom lip was busted, he was glaring at Kirishima, clearly not in the mood. He stepped up to Kirishima, grabbing him by the collar, "And I told you, if you really cared about her then you would be there for her! But instead, you're looking to prove some macho bullshit while she ran off crying!.. I'm leaving so I can explain things to my girlfriend." Izuku had dropped his cinnamon bun politeness, now in that tenacious mood, focused on talking to Mina. He didn't wait for a reply and shoved Kirishima out of the way.

But he was stopped one more time. "I-Izuku..?" Momo had stood from her chair, and was looking at his back as if unsure of herself and waiting for him to turn around to tell her it was fine. She wanted that comfort.

Izuku had a fist clenched. "Momo, I can't even look at you right now. You told me that you wouldn't but..!" It looked he wanted to say something else but he bit back and held his tongue.

"B-But I didn't do anything."

This time he couldn't hold back and turned around with a glare. "You know exactly what you did! It was the same thing you did on New Years!-,"

Before he continued, he felt the eyes of everyone on their conversation. He huffed out a breath, "I don't have time for this." He straightened his posture before running after Mina. He glanced at the two he could trust. "Kacchan, Todoroki, make sure everyone gets home safely."

"Don't go acting like you're the main character!" Bakugo yelled, "And I was already planning on that!"

"Don't worry Midoriya, take care of what's important." Todoroki was as stoic as ever.

Momo was attempting to keep herself composed but found it difficult. Uraraka stepped up to her. "Hey, Yao-momo, why... why did you want me and Ashido to make up?" Uraraka was rubbing her elbow with her other hand, not able to meet her friend's eyes. "It wasn't to cause problems for their relationship was it?" She let out a weak giggle. "Of course it wasn't for that, right? I mean you even consoled me after they got together, so..? Yao-momo, why did you do all those things?" Why was Momo Yaoyorozu always in the background of Izuku and Mina's relationship?

Momo didn't answer, those loose strands of hair shading her eyes.

Toru, Bakugo, Yui, and Todoroki had joined Uraraka. "Yao-momo, what happened? If you tell us maybe we can help clear things up." Toru asked, but it wasn't from her gossip side, it was out of concern for her best friend.

Momo still hesitated to answer, as if hiding into herself.

"Hey c'mon guys, don't attack her." Jiro stepped up to defend her friend. "Look we've all been drinking and it's clearly something personal or else Midoriya and her wouldn't be acting this way. Let's just clean up, get back to the dorms and move on from there."

The majority of them agreed except Toru because she wanted answers but Bakugo convinced her. Bakugo himself was actually more annoyed at the fact that the thing he thought he was roped into was bigger than he thought it was. Kirishima didn't say anything but he was one of the first to clean up. Todoroki glanced at Yaoyorozu feeling like he should know what happened because she did mention the hot springs. Yui was bored and simply sipped on her drink. And Tokoyami, he had nothing to do with this but was unfortunately exposed to it all.

Izuku had to use full cowling to catch up to Mina, realizing it when he saw the path of acid leading out of Jiro's home. He hurried up because she was obviously intoxicated and should not be using her quirk to slide around, she could end up hurt. "Seriously how much did the girls drink before I arrived." Noticing how rambunctious and daring they were getting, like Toru hooking up with Bakugo, Momo mentioning the hot springs, and Mina's outburst.

He eventually spotted a pink blur down the road. He quickly got to her side, she noticed him, trying to go faster. "Leave me alone, Izuku!"

"Mina, come on, at least hear me out!"

"Why, so you can give me the details!"

"Mina, it's not what you think!"

Mina rolled her eyes at the typical excuse. "Then what did she mean about the hot spri-!" She couldn't finish her sentence because she was too busy focused on her anger that she wasn't looking ahead and tripped. "Ahhh!"

Izuku sped up and dived, catching her, tumbling down the road, with him taking the brunt of the force. They skidded to a stop with her on top of him. She was glancing down at him with a pout but didn't say anything.

The wind rustled and it caused the squeal of some familiar chain links. They both turned to the sound seeing the area. It was the park.

They stared at it for a moment before looking at each other. "So can we talk now?"

She let out an annoyed sigh, "I guess so..."
