CHAPTER THREE

Taken

"Just where do you think you're going?" A familiar voice questioned. She was lifted out of the well and pulled into a strong embrace by the young leader of the wolf demon tribe, Koga.

"K-Koga?" Kagome questioned as she attempted to untangle herself from the grip he had on her. "What are you doing here?"

He grinned down at her with a devious smile and a hungry glint in his eye. "Well ain't it obvious? I promised I'd make you my mate one day." He pulled Kagome more firmly against himself.

"Koga, let go of me!" She pushed against him trying to make some space between them. "This isn't funny. I need to get back to my own time."

"I wasn't joking." In a swift motion Kagome was tossed over his shoulder, his arm secured around her legs so she could neither fall or get away. "We'll go back to the den first. After we mate for the first time or two and make things official, you can do whatever you want then. Aside from hanging around that mutt any more, of course."

Kagome kicked and pounded her fists into the Wolf demon's back. "Stop it Koga! Get your hands off of me! Put me down!" Her struggles and protests fell on deaf ears. If anything Koga was that much more interested in the feisty human. Her submitting to him would be that much better.

Koga took off at full speed with Kagome slung over his shoulder like a sack of flour. Every step he took carrying her this way jostled her against his shoulder, making her feel like she was repeatedly being punched in the gut. Koga took no notice; eager to finally claim the future girl as his mate. Finding her without the guard dog around had been a stroke of luck, he knew it was meant to be on that alone. Kagome would be his.

With Koga's speed it didn't take long for them to reach his cave where Kagome was unceremoniously dropped onto a pile of pelts that only somewhat cushioned the landing. "What the hell is wrong with you? Take me back right now!" The usually friendly demon narrowed his eyes at her demands. "Fine." Kagome stood, swiping the dust from her uniform. She started toward the mouth of the little cave fully prepared to climb down the mountain and hike back to the well.

Suddenly stars flashed before her eyes. Her head felt like it had been split open, and she was struggling to breath. Koga had pinned her to the ground by the neck. She grasped at his arm trying to pry his fingers from her throat. The effort was useless against his demon strength. "Stop…please" she choked out, her vision starting to go blurry.

She gasped for air and choked on the sensation of her lungs filling when he loosened his hold on her. Still pinned beneath him she noticed his eyes roaming her body. His free hand trailed down her body to the hem of her skirt.

Koga growled at Kagome as her hand made contact with his face in a stinging slap laced with her spiritual energy; leaving behind a burning, bright red handprint on his face. He forced both of her arms above her head, locking them in place with one of his hands. "You won't do that again Bitch." He told her through clenched teeth. "If you do, I'll just have to break you a bit." He emphasized the words by squeezing her wrists tight enough Kagome thought the bones might start to break. She whimpered slightly, for the first time beginning to fear Koga. Female wolf demons would only mate with stronger males that could overpower them and force them into submission. For Koga, her small cry of fear was pure encouragement.

With his free hand, Koga ripped away Kagome's clothes. His claws tore through the fabric leaving it in tattered ribbons he pulled the shredded clothing away, leaving her body bare and fully exposed. She was a sight to drink in. Koga wanted to savor their first moment together; to play with her body, but the desire to claim the girl for himself overwhelmed him. Her time for bearing him pups this season was running out, each moment she went unclaimed was a wasted opportunity. Koga flipped Kagome on her stomach and resecurred her hands behind her back with one of his. He pushed her bare hips into the air so she was on her knees with much of her weight now resting on her upper body. Koga forced her legs wide apart and positioned himself behind her. His cock rubbed against her lower lips. He growled at her continued defiance of his claim to her when he found her dry as a desert and the muscles in her core clamped tight, further resisting his entrance.

Kagome's body jerked away as much as possible in this position when she felt him press two fingers against her opening instead. They were slick with his saliva. "S-stop Koga, please don't do this. " The first finger slipped past her barrier. Tears welled in her eyes as she felt him explore her insides, seeking further access. She pleaded with him as she felt a second start to squeeze past her walls. He pulled his fingers from her to plunge them back in once more.

All at once his presence was gone. The den shook and a yelp rang through the stone walls. She felt something soft and warm fall lightly over her bare skin as viscous snarls filled the little cave. "What the hell do you think you are doing, Mutt? Interrupting me with my mate? " Kagome dared to peek out of the corner of her eye, afraid to move. The brilliant red fire rat robe floated down over her body, one of the wide sleeves shielding her eyes as its owner's owners fist connected with the jaw of the wolf demon sending the wolf to the ground.

"You're fucking disgusting wolf." Inuyasha growled. His voice changed, becoming rougher and more aggressive as his rage slipped to the surface. "I'm going to enjoy breaking every last bone in your worthless body." Inuyasha's fist connected with Koga's gut, making the wolf demon choke. Koga lashed out with a kick expecting Inuyasha to jump back to dodge. Instead, Inuyasha caught Koga by the leg, stopping the blow. He squeezed and there was a sickening crunch; Koga yelled in pain as the bone began to crack and yelped as he was slammed to the ground before being slung from the tiny cave into a massive boulder outside that shattered with the impact.

Inuyasha glanced over his shoulder to where Kagome lay shielded by his haori. She had curled into a ball and pulled the fabric tighter around herself but otherwise hadn't moved which worried him a little. For a moment his eyes caught hers, they were filled with fear and tears slowly spilled down her face. He was torn between the need to rush to her and comfort her, to shield her from all the evil in the world versus the desire to soak his claws in the blood of the filthy wolf that had dared to harm his mate. Another wave of rage washed over him, the demon inside thrashed about. 'That fucking mangy wolf laid his hands on your mate.' He would make sure it would never happen again.

"Inuyasha?" Barely louder than a breath she called for him. His ears flicked back toward the sound of his name and he stopped mid stride. "Inuyasha!" With all the strength in her body she picked herself up and raced across the little cave to throw her arms around him, disregarding the faint demon markings on his face. She gripped his hadagi tight in her fists and sobbed into his chest. Instinctively his arms encircled her, holding her tight and stroking her hair to soothe her as much as he could. "C-can you take me home?" She asked, her voice breaking. He nuzzled her hair in acknowledgement though his eyes remained locked on his enemy. Koga lay motionless among the rubble of the boulder, unconscious for the moment. Hate filled growls continued to rumble through his chest becoming more violent as Inuyasha breathed in his mate's fear, her tears, the smell of another male on her; all of it tainting her scent for him.

Sorry to all the Koga fans, but he always struck me as NiceGuy(tm) especially with Kagome never properly turning him down and while my sleepless brain was crafting this story it felt right to take this path.
