Izuku walked into the dorms, spotting Todoroki sitting with Yui on the sofa.
He thought about it for a moment, deciding if it was worth it or not. He shrugged before plopping himself on the couch besides them.
"Izuku,"
"Yui,"
"Midoriya,"
"Todoroki,"
"Shoto,"
"Kodai,"
"Me?"
"You,"
"Him,"
"Her,"
"Deku,"
"Rule,"
"Shoto, again."
"Agh, enough! I didn't come here for this shtick. Why are you two like this? You're both even wearing the school uniform on a weekend!"
Yui and Shoto glanced at each other before turning to Izuku, giving him an indifferent stare.
Izuku sighed giving up, "I didn't even come here for this." He leaned back on the couch staring up at the ceiling. Despite their tendencies Izuku trusted Todoroki and Yui, so he began to speak his thoughts to them. "Uraraka and Tokoyami are gonna start dating... I mean, it's not like I'm upset or anything, I'm actually really happy for them but, I just... It just feels weird."
Todoroki and Yui stopped their goofing around to hear out a friend. Todoroki had his hand on his chin, "Well it makes sense Midoriya, Uraraka was your first kiss after all, and baggage doesn't just disappear. It's okay to be a little uncomfortable."
It was barely noticeable but Yui was nodding along, after he finished she simply said, "Ashido,"
Izuku rubbed his face as he recalled what Todoroki was talking about, "I really hate parties..." Izuku removed his hand, leaving it limp beside him as he continued to stare off towards the ceiling, "Sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I went to the library sleepover, instead of that stupid party."
"Ashido." Yui repeated.
Izuku straightened out, feeling full of energy at the mention of his girlfriend, a natural smile came to him simply thinking about her, "You have a point Yui, we probably wouldn't have ended up together."
He pulled out his phone to stare at his lock screen, it was the picture of them sharing a snack between their lips, as the cherry blossom petals scattered. "It's like when I'm with her, I forget everything that's happened..."
"Then it makes even more sense for you to be feeling like this. You haven't been with her all day so old memories are popping back up."
"Ashido-withdrawal."
Izuku grew shark eyes, "My girlfriend is not a drug!" Before bringing his normal expression back, "But I get your point, Today has been feeling a lot like back then, I even hung out at the library and the garden." But then Izuku's eyes narrowed in thought, 'Back then Mina and I were invisible to each other, like we were in two different worlds, but now...' Izuku still felt bad about the fact that he never took the time to get to know her until they started dating.
Todoroki and Yui removed the glasses that they had been seemingly wearing out of nowhere and put their notepad and pencils away. "Unfortunately Midoriya, your counseling session is over as Kodai and I have other matters to attend to," No longer in therapist mode.
"Date-night." Yui mentioned the matter they had to attend to.
"Ah, have fun," Izuku wished for them to have a good time until he thought about it, "Since when have you two been dating!? Todoroki, you literally asked me about her this morning!" Slapping the air in disbelief.
Just as they were about to reply the doors bursted open and she made her entrance, announcing herself in an energetic singing voice.
"I'm baaaack!"
