A few days later, Yami was resting in his bedroom with Honda and Anthony. For some strange reason, Yami woke up with a weird feeling washing over him. Every now and then he found himself flinching from strange cramps or the feeling of his child kicking him.

Yami went to stand up from the bed to stretch his legs but suddenly let out a sharp gasp as a stronger cramp hit him and liquid slid down his legs.

"Oh no," Yami said with a groan.

"Yami? What's wrong?" Honda asked setting Anthony down on the ground with his toys and rushing over to Yami.

"Get Isis," Yami said with another groan and sitting back down on the bed. "I think my water just broke."

Honda's eye widened and he sent a quick glance at Anthony making sure he was okay before rushing out of the room to find Isis and the others.

Yugi and the others were in the meeting room figuring out a plan of attack.

"What if we-"

However, before Yugi could finish his sentence, Honda burst into the room.

"Honda?" Otogi asked. "What's wrong?"

"It's Yami," Honda said out of breath. "His water broke."

The group's eyes widened and they quickly rushed out of the meeting room and towards Yami's bedroom where Isis was already getting set up for birth.

"Yami," Yugi said rushing to his brother's side and grasping his hand.

"Isn't it a little early for him to be giving birth?" Ryou asked. "I thought he wasn't due for another 5 months?"

"Vampire pregnancies are a little different," Isis explained. "Our pregnancies go a little faster than a human's normally would, so unlike Honda who was pregnant for your full 9 months, Yami's pregnancy was nearing the end."

"Still," Heba said giving Yami a worried look. "It is a little early for him to be giving birth."

"I suspect it has something to do with the stress these last few days that has caused him to go into early labour," Isis said as Yami flinched from another contraction.

"We have a problem," Heba said suddenly.

"What's wrong?" Yugi asked turning away from Yami.

"Atem's close," Heba said with a deep frown. "I just caught a whiff of his scent, and he has soldiers with him."

"But how?" Joey asked.

"It's me," Yami said groaning through another contraction. "It's the link we share."

"If he's coming then we need to prepare everyone for a battle," Ryou said with a frown.

"We'd stand no chance," Malik said with a shake of his head. "We only have 1/3 of our troops, everyone else left."

"But you have something you didn't have before," Seto said turning to Heba with a nod.

"What?" Yugi asked.

"Us, duh," Bakura said with a roll of his eyes.

"You'd really stand against Atem?" Yami asked.

"Well, we kind of already have," Marik said with a sigh. "Helping Isis who was labelled a traitor out and the second we raised a sword against the guards we were deemed traitors."

"So what do we have to lose?" Heba said giving Yugi a soft smile. "We don't like the fighting, we believed in the treaty."

"We'll stand with you," Bakura said with a nod.

"Then we better start preparing now," Malik said to which Yugi nodded.

"And fast," Ryou added.

"Isis, can you stay with Yami?" Yugi asked turning to Isis. "And protect him if the need come?"

"Of course," Isis said with a nod. "He's not just my superior but my friend, I'll protect him until the end."

"Right," Yugi said with a nod. "Let's get started."

"Yugi, Heba," Yami called out as everyone started to head out of the room.

"Joey, can you tell everyone to meet in the meeting room?" Yugi asked turning to Joey who nodded. "We'll catch up."

"I'll go and get some more supplies," Isis said turning to Yugi who smiled and nodded. Isis then left the room, leaving Yugi, Heba, and Yami alone.

"What is it?" Yugi asked kneeling beside the bed, Heba sitting on the side.

"It may sound crazy but I think there's still good inside Atem," Yami said.

"Yami, I don't-" Heba started to say but was cut off.

"I can't explain it but I feel something still there inside," Yami said placing a hand over his heart. "I still think he's in there, trying to fight but he's trapped."

There was silence for a few moments before Heba spoke up.

"There may be something we can do," Heba said.

"What?"

"What if we were to trap Atem and keep him here until Helena's magic fully fades away?" Heba asked turning to Yugi who seemed to be catching on.

"Since we probably wouldn't be able to get near the Council, Atem could pretend that he's still under Helena's magic enough for us to get close and take control," Yugi said with a nod.

"Exactly," Heba said with a nod.

"We'll just have to keep him occupied until Angeline reverses Helena's magic," Yugi said. "Which should be easy enough."

"Agreed," Heba said with a nod.

"Alright, does everyone understand?" Yugi asked as he ran through the plan once more with everyone.

The resistance members looked worried but nodded.

"Remember, we just need to keep them occupied until Angeline has the magic reversed," Ryou added. "And until we trap Helena."

"After the spell is reversed, stop your fighting but keep your guard up just in case," Malik added.

"And try not to kill these vampires with us," Joey added with a smirk. "They're on our side and the six of us are in relationships with them."

"But what about the Emperor?" a voice asked from the crowd.

"Do not engage with the Emperor," Heba said. "Leave him to me and Yugi, we have a plan in place with each other."

"Dismissed, go prepare," Yugi called out. The group saluted and headed off.

"Are you sure this is where they are Your Majesty?" one of the guards asked. Atem nodded and glared at where the cliff was.

"They're here," Atem said. "I can smell them and him."

"Alright," the guard said with a nod.

"Prepare your men for a fight," Atem said turning to the guard. "Heba was sure to have smelled us coming and told them."

"Right," the guard said with a nod, turning to his men. "Prepare for battle!"

"Everyone ready?" Yugi asked to which the group nodded. He and Heba were in the main group, Seto and Joey were in another group, Bakura and Marik were in another group (much to their annoyance of being away from Ryou and Malik until Heba scolded them), and Ryou and Malik were in another group.

Otogi had volunteered to stay in the base and protect the humans inside in case something were to happen.

From their position, Yugi could make out where Atem and the soldiers with him were. He could also see Helena behind Atem, like a shadow.

"She's with him," Yugi muttered to Heba.

"I just need to get close to her to tie her with the chain," Angeline said turning to Yugi, "If you two can keep Atem away from her I can tie her and quickly reverse the magic."

"Got it," Heba said with a nod.

Yugi turned to where Joey's group was located and where Ryou's group was located. Yugi grabbed one of their flare guns and raised it into the sky, letting out a shot. Joey and Ryou heard the signal and quickly launched the smoke bombs towards Atem's group, smoke filling the area.

All four groups headed towards the battleground and waited until the smoke cleared. Once it did, the group was met with the hateful glowing red eyes that belonged to a new very pissed off Emperor.

"I think it's time we end this," Atem said. "This fight has gone on long enough."

"Agreed," Yugi said with a nod. "Your move."

The fight began.

Yugi was glad that Bakura, Marik, Seto, Ootogi, and Heba were all on their side. If they were on Atem's side, he was sure that they would have been wiped out by now. And who would have known what would have happened to the families inside the base and what Atem would have done with Yami after giving birth to their child.

Yugi was shaken out of his thoughts when Heba sped in front of him and sliced the head off of a vampire that was striking for him.

"Thanks," Yugi said with a breath of relief.

"Let's save our running thoughts for another time?" Heba suggested with a smile.

"Right," Yugi said with a nod. "We need to get close to Atem."

"That might be difficult", Heba said noticing the number of guards surrounding Atem, protecting him. "Unless…"

"Unless what?" Yugi asked. Heba only gave him a smirk and turned to where Bakura and Marik were. "Bakura! Marik! Wanna come kill some guards for us?"

The pair froze and turned to see what Heba was talking about. Grins appeared on their faces as they realized who the guards were.

"With pleasure!" Bakura said as he and Marik suddenly appeared in front of Yugi and Heba.

"I'm gonna enjoy this," Marik said as the pair charged towards the guards. A few got past them and started fighting with Yugi and Heba but the pair were swift to kill them.

"We need an opening!" Heba yelled.

"Gotcha!" Bakura yelled, pushing the guard off him with a road and swiping at another. Opening a small hole for Yugi and Heba to get through. "Go!"

"Hold on," Heba muttered grabbing onto Yugi and speeding through, appearing a few feet away from Atem.

"Never do that again," Yugi said trying to steady himself. Heba gave him a smirk before turning to find Atem, only to find him in battle with Seto who noticed them get close to Atem and decided to distract him for them. Helena, a few feet behind, feeding magic to Atem making him stronger than usual.

"Ready?" Heba asked turning to Yugi who nodded.

"Ryou! Malik! Joey!" Yugi yelled. "It's time!"

The trio turned and ran over.

"Go get Atem," Joey said turning to Helena who turned and glared at them. "We got this bitch."

"Right," Yugi said with a nod.

"You really think three humans are going to defeat a fairy?" Helena said with a chuckle. "You'll be easily killed but it's your funeral."

"Seto! Move!" Yugi yelled pulling something out of his pocket. A net made out of pure silver, doused in holy water just to be safe. Seto caught on and moved out of the way, just as Yugi tossed the net on top of Atem.

Atem then let out a loud shriek of pain which caught Helena's ears, stopping her in her battle.

"You little shit," Helena said disappearing and then reappearing behind Yugi. "I should have killed you when I had the chance, say goodbye."

"Not so fast," a familiar voice called out from behind. Before Helena could cast a spell or turn to see who it was, she found herself tied in a thick chain made of bronze. What made it worse was she could feel her magic being suppressed and burnt out. It was painful.

Helena let out a shriek of annoyance and pain and fell to her knees. She turned and her eyes widened before they glared at the person responsible.

Her sister, Angeline.

"Should have known it was you," Helena said with a growl. "Always the perfect little bitch aren't you?"

"Enough Helena," Angeline said as she noticed the vampires falter. The humans stopped fighting as they were instructed but were surprised when the vampires continued to fight. Angeline muttered a spell but the vampires continued to fight.

"Looks like we have to take care of this once and for all," Yugi said with a sigh. "Let's-"

"Yugi!" Otogi yelled as he sped over to Yugi.

"What's wrong?" Yugi asked.

"It's Yami," Otogi exclaimed with wide eyes. Yugi's eyes widened and he turned to Heba who nodded.

"Go, I'll take care of this."

"Right," Yugi said with a nod and turned to Otogi. "Let's go."

When Yugi got to the bedroom, his eyes widened seeing blood-stained sheets and a frantic Isis trying to help a screaming Yami.

"What happened?" Yugi asked tossing his sword down and rushing over, washing his hands off in the bowl of clean water in case Isis needed help.

"Something's wrong," Isis said in a shaky voice. Just as an explosion shook the base. Wasn't Heba supposed to be taking care of it?

Yami screamed as a wave of pain hit him. Explosions could be heard outside and the sounds of guns and swords clashing.

"Yami honey you need you to breathe and you need to try and push," Isis said. Yami shook his head and clenched his hand which Yugi held onto, his own hand shaking.

"I can't, she can't come now," Yami said with another scream. She couldn't come out now, there was a war happening outside. He didn't know who was winning, he didn't want to risk his daughter being killed if they were not winning.

"Yami I know it's stressful right now but you have to push," Yugi squeezed his hand gently

"Yami you have to do this now, even if he isn't here." Yami shook his head. His dream made more sense now, Atem was the he.

"He wouldn't come anyways, he hates me," Yugi frowned.

"Yami please, don't let your child die, you need to push!" he shouted. Fresh blood started coming out of Yami, staining the bedsheets. Yami screamed as a new pain hit him.

"Oh my god, Yugi get me a knife now!" Isis yelled.

Yugi pulled away from Yami and opened a desk drawer, pulling out a blade that belonged to their father. Yugi quickly headed back over and handed the dagger over to Isis.

"You're going to cut him?" Yugi asked to which Isis nodded softly.

"I have to, or else he'll die," Isis replied cutting into Yami's skin, Yami letting out a loud scream. "Yami, give me one for push love."

Yami screamed the loudest he had since he started birth and pushed as Isis told him to, falling back against the bed with a sob.

There was a few seconds of silence before a baby's cry rang throughout the room. Yugi almost started crying.

"It's a girl Yami," Isis said smiling down at the baby girl in her arms. Yami lifted his head as Isis cut the cord and laid his daughter on him. "You were right."

"She's beautiful Yami," Yugi said as he stared at his niece with a soft smile.

"She is," Yami said with a smile. Though, that smile quickly faded when he felt his eyes roll to the back of his head and his vision went black. His daughter almost falling off if Yugi had not caught her in time.

"Oh my god," Yugi said with wide eyes. "Yami!?"

Isis was quick and used her magic to heal Yami. Though, she wasn't able to fully heal him, just the big issues like the internal bleeding.

"He'll be fine," Isis said with a sigh of relief. "He just needs some rest."

"What do we do about her?" Yugi asked looking down at his niece who was crying for her mother.

"I'll take care of her," Isis said gently lifting her into her arms. "I need to do a once over of her and clean her up."

"Right," Yugi said with a nod.

"It sounds like the fighting had finished," Isis said noticed the sounds of fighting had stopped. "Why don't you go see what you can do to help? Help take your mind over Yami?"

"Right," Yugi repeated, sparing a last glance at his brother before heading out of the room.

Heba turned as he heard Yugi heading into the meeting room. They had knocked Atem out and put him in the dungeon. Angeline already saying that Helena's magic was started to flush its way out of his body and mind. Which was a good sign. Angeline headed back to Queen Lorella to give her an updated report but would be back in a few hours to keep an eye on Helena.

Helena had been placed in a different dungeon. Still tied in the chain to stop her from using her magic.

Heba had tried to stop the vampires from attacking the humans any longer but unfortunately, even without Helena's magic, they still wanted to fight. In the end, they had to kill the vampires to end the fight. Currently, the remaining resistance members were cleaning up the bodies and burning them.

"How's Yami?" Heba asked catching the group's attention.

"Oh my god," Joey said with wide eyes seeing the blood on Yugi that wasn't there before.

"Yami's fine," Yugi said sitting down on the chair with a sigh. "And so is his daughter."

"A girl!?" Ryou asked with a smile.

"Yeah," Yugi said with a sigh.

"He was right after all," Heba said with a smile.

"I told you he was gonna be right," Marik said elbowing Bakura in the stomach. "Pay up."

"Does it look like I have money with me right now?" Bakura growled with a glare. "We kind of us just fought a battle here."

"You two are impossible," Malik said with a roll of his eyes. "So he's going to be okay right?" Malik asked his eyes flashing down to the blood of Yugi which was more than likely Yami's.

"As far as Isis can tell, yes."

"That's a relief," Joey said with a sigh.

"So now what?" Seto asked.

"Now we wait for Atem to wake up," Heba said with a sigh. "And then we go over the plan me and Yugi thought of."
