Come Friday morning, Yuro was a common sight around the dorms. If the small kitten was with Izuku, he was either with Katsuki, Akari or Eijirou. They were really the only other people the cat truly liked.
But we're not here to focus on that. The class was currently sitting in homeroom, once again waiting for Aizawa. The two squads, that is secretly being called the BakuDeku squad behind their backs, had spread the word about Momo and Thotor- I mean Todoroki.
Momo was sitting and chatting with Jiro, who was leaning against Momo's desk, mainly just staring at her longingly as Jiro went on about this new song that just came out from her favorite band.
Katsuki had turned around to engage a conversation with Izuku, who happily talked back. Eijirou was leaning against Sero's so he could also talk to them.
"Tenya look, they're all talking again," Ochako quietly pointed to the three boys.
"Yes, I do see. When do you think they will realize their feelings?"
"Like you're one to talk Mr. I-have-a-giant-crush-on-the-nice-explosive-blonde-and-I-don't-know-what-to-do-Izuku-help-me-woo-your-best-gal-friend," she gave him a pointed look.
"You avoided asking her out for two months, kero. It made squad sessions really awkward, kero," Tsu, blunt as always.
"I…"
"They'll figure it out eventually Tenya."
"I hope so, they check each other out all the time."
Before those three could continue their conversation, Aizawa rolled in, but with an extra little set of feet following him.
"Eri!" Izuku was the first one to say anything. He smiled at her as she gave a small wave to him.
Eijirou smiled at Izuku and Katsuki before making his way back to his desk. When he sat down, Jiro back at her seat a long while ago, Aizawa finally stood up.
"First off, I need you to watch Eri for today. Second, the Sports Festival is coming up in two weeks. That said, starting after I finish speaking, you'll have two weeks to train," He let that sink in before speaking again, "Now," he looked down at Eri and gently kneeled down beside her," who do you want to go with?"
She looked around before going to Izuku. "Can I stay with you Deku?"
"Of course Eri." He gently ran a hand through her hair.
Aizaws nodded. "Then you are all dismissed." He flopped back down into his sleeping back and wormed away.
Izuku sweatdropped at their sensei before standing up and opening his arms, a silent question if Eri wants to be picked up. She nodded. He smiled as he scooped her up in his arms.
He left the classroom and headed to the dorms. "I have a new little friend I want you to meet." He smiled as he walked inside.
"Really?" She asked, she began to look around.
Izuku laughed before setting Eri down. "Yeah." He ruffled her hair. "Yuro, come here." He called.
Soon the small black kitten hopped off the couch and made his way to Izuku and Eri. Eri soon hid behind Izuku.
He smiled. "There is no reason to be scared. I got him at a cat Cafe. He's really sweet. Come stand next to me." He gently convinced her to stand next to him. "Hold out your hand, like this." He held his hand out. Eri slowly doing the same. "Now, let him come to you."
Eri was slightly shaking as she pushed herself closer to Izuku's side. Yuro, as if understanding the situation, gently came up to Eri's hand and sniffed it. Soon he nuzzled his head against her hand.
Eri slowly stopped shaking as she began to pet Yuro. Aizawa does have cats, but it took awhile for her to be able to be around them. Izuku was proud that she was able to warm up to Yuro.
Soon the class came back, finding Izuku sitting criss-cross with Eri in his lap. Yuro cuddle against Eri as she gently was playing and petting him.
This caused everyone, minus a certain thot, to smile. Izuku was really in his element with Eri.
"Hey Zuku, why don't you bring Eri up to your room to play some games." Eijirou asked.
Izuku looked up and nodded. "Want to go play some games Eri?" He asked her gently.
She looked up at him and nodded. Yuro licked Eri's cheek before leaping off her lap and walking outside through the cat door. A certain red and white haired male following, unknown to everyone.
Izuku picked Eri up as he stood up. He held her as he went to the elevator, Eijirou, Katsuki, and Akari following.
They made it to his floor and walked to his room. They walked in and he set Eri down. "Alright, I have different devices and different games." He showed Eri the kid friendly ones. She soon pointed at 'Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild'.
"Good choice, just let me get it all set up." He patted the couch as he sat down. Eri sat down as she watched him get the Nintendo switch ready for her.
Akari grabbed a boom that she's been wanting to read that Izuku just so happen to have and crashed into a new bean bag he got. Katsuki and Eijirou got out a deck of cards and began to play 'War'. Katsuki was, luckily, able to keep any anger in check through the game.
Izuku sat with Eri as she played, helping her whenever she was confused. She was a little sad that couldn't pet the dogs at the stables. But she was happy she could pet the horses as Link rode them.
*with Todoroki*
He followed the cat out undetected. He had plans for that damn cat. Plans to make Izuku regret breaking up with him.
That cat walked back behind the dorms. Todoroki followed it. It came to an area with a small pond surrounded by trees. Todoroki smirked. Perfect.
He picked Yuro up by the scruff of its neck. And threw him against a tree, hard. He heard a crack, a sound he was satisfied with.
"You stupid cat. Got everyone wrapped around your paws. Especially Izuku, I'll just have to use you to break him." Todoroki let out a laugh.
Yuro let out a whimper and a whine as Todoroki picked him back up. He was hurting and in pain. Where was his human, he wants his human. He immediately let out a yowl when he felt his body being burned.
"Stupid feline." He kicked him into the pond.
Yuro couldn't swim with his ribs fractured. 'Human, I want my human. Please human, help. Human Izuku help!' It was all Yuro thought with the pain.
*with Izuku*
'Human, I want my human. Please human, help. Human Izuku help!'
Izuku jolted when he heard that cry for help. He abruptly stood up. This shocked everyone in his room.
"You okay Izuku?" Akari her best friend.
"Yuro," he immediately went for the door," Yuro's in trouble!"
He shot out of his room, down the hall, and down the stairs. The elevator would be too slow. He flung the first floor door open and immediately went into the common area and looked around.
The whole class looked at him confused. "Have you seen Yuro?!" He looked frantic.
"He was outside last time we saw him." Mina spoke up for the whole class.
Before anyone could ask if Yuro was okay, Izuku was already out the door looking around. He heard a yowl from around back.
He sprinted to the back of the building. What he saw made his blood run cold. Todoroki had just kicked, a clearly broken and bleeding, Yuro against a tree out of the pond. His blood soon began to boil.
He let an animalistic growl out. This caused Todoroki to freeze in his tracks. He slowly turned, eyes widening when he saw Izuku.
"H-Hey Zuzu." He gulped.
"Don't you fucking 'hey Zuzu' you bloody fucking bastard."
Todoroki stumbled back. He was terrified, not because he was caught. No. It was how Izuku looked.
Flaming hot fire was roaring out of his mouth. Smoke flowing out of his nose. His eyes glowing a venomous green. Lightning danced and crackled around his body. His hair floating up like Aizawa's. A deep scowl on his lips.
"Fuck."
"Fuck is right." That was all Izuku said he appeared in front of Todoroki and spin kicked him. This knocked Todoroki back. But he got back onto his feet and lit his left side on fire, frost already coming off his right.
Before Todoroki could actually attack Izuku, he found himself up in the air. Izuku was relentlessly attacking him. He was not going to let up.
All that was going through Izuku's mind was 'He attacked Yuro, he hurt Yuro, Yuro is in pain because of him.'
He soon felt his quirk disappear and a familiar grey cloth wrapped around him. He struggled against it with all his might. Even without the strength he was insanely strong. So Aizawa struggled a bit to keep him back.
"Sensei let me go, he hurt Yuro, let me at him, I need to hospitalize this fucking bastard." He did one strong push forward. That caused Aizawa to stumbled a little, but he held his ground.
"Problem child calm down. I need you to calm down and think, Akari Bakugou took your cat to Recovery Girl, he's being treated. You can see him, but you need to calm down. Nezu and I will handle Shouto Todoroki."
Slowly, but surely, Izuku stopped pushing against the scarf. He continued to growl at Todoroki as smoke continued to come out of his nose. Aizawa might have canceled his quirk, but there were still after effects.
"I'm going to remove my capture gear from you, and you are going to let Kirishima and Katsuki Bakugou take you to the infirmary."
Izuku gave a hard nod. He felt the capture gear be removed. He tensed, physically stopping himself from attacking again.
Eijirou and Katsuki each gently grabbed an arm and brought him to Recovery Girl.
Once Aizawa saw that they were far enough away. He turned his glare to Todoroki. "Principle's office now." He grabbed him with his capture gear to make sure he went.
*with Izuku*
They made it to the infirmary. His stomach dropped when he saw Eri there. "Did…she see?"
"No Zuku, Iida had covered her eyes and ears." Eijirou reassured him.
And just like that, the tension left him. "I screwed up."
"No you didn't. There were cameras back there, so whatever Todoroki did, the Principle has seen." Katsuki patted his back.
"Deku!" Eri got off her chair and ran over to him. He knelt down and felt her hug him. "Is Yuro going to be okay?"
"Yeah, if anyone knows how to heal anything, it's Recovery Girl."
Eri nodded. She stayed hugging him. He soon stood up, her securely in his arms.
"How is he?" He asked Akari.
"Recovery Girl said it was a good thing we got him to her when we did."
Izuku scowled, but kept his anger in check.
"What of Todoroki?" She asked him.
"Principle Nezu and Aizawa sensei are dealing with him."
"Nezu doesn't take kindly to animal abuse."
"No one does."
He ran his hands through Eri's hair. "Hey, I'm sorry if i scared you earlier."
"Its okay, you were protecting Yuro. Like you protected me last year." She loved her head away from his shoulder and smiled.
He sat down in a chair. They all were going to wait for Yuro.
Ten minutes later, Recovery Girl opened the curtain. Izuku stood up, Eri in his arms. His eyes pleading that his beloved feline companion was okay.
She smiled at him. "He's all healed up dear. You can come see him."
Izuku immediately went towards the bed. Yuro was curled in a ball with a blanket gently draped across half his body.
He sat Eri down on the bed. He then scratched Yuro's head.
"I'm not going to let that happen again. From now on, you're going to always be with me."
"Do you think Aizawa will allow that?" Eijirou asked.
"Nezu will." Izuku smirked. Of course the principle will.
Izuku had explained that he heard Yuro call for him. So Yuro obviously had a quirk. And with that knowledge, it would be best for him to be with Izuku. The others nodded.
"You can take him back to the dorms, just be careful with him." the old lady informed.
"Thank you ma'am."
Izuku gently picked up Yuro, making sure he stayed asleep and was comfortable. Akari picked Eri up. Said little girl smiled, but looked worried about Yuro still.
"He'll be okay, he's a brave kitten." Eijirou reassured her.
"Yeah squirt. Any pet of Izuku can take on the world and still be okay." Katsuki gently ruffled her hair, being careful of her horn.
"Okay." She buried her head in Akari's neck.
"Lets go guys, it's getting late. " Izuku walked out of the room.
They made their way back to the dorm. When they walked in they were surrounded by worried classmates.
Once Izuku reassured them that Yuro was okay, just needed rest, they let them by. They made it to Izuku's room, where he put down a pillow on the couch and layed Yuro down on it, draping a blanket over him.
He turned to the others. "Movie?"
Eri immediately nodded. "With the others?"
"Of course." Akari smiled and left the room with her.
The boys looked at each other and chuckled, following the girls out. They made it down into the common area and told the class. They were all on board.
So Eri chose the movie. She chose 'How to train your dragon'. A good choice.
They all got cozy and watched the series. Yes, all three. Todoroki never came back to the dorm. Some questioned, others didn't. Aizawa would tell them soon.
But they pushed it to the back of their minds and just relaxed. They relaxed before they all began training for the Sports Festival. All wondering who would be number one this year.
