Hello, and I hope you all are doing well!
The seasons are changing again and I have both some exciting news and perhaps an inquiry for you. Firstly, I would like start by thanking everyone still interested in this story for your patience with me and with the story itself. In 2020, I started writing this massive work of fanfiction, two years after I had read The Inheritance Cycle. It's been a constant for two years of my life and I'm very much proud of it, though now as I work my way through my second reread of all four books four years later, I find myself thoroughly irritated by the inaccuracies I've set and the immaturity of my writings.
With this said, I've recently made the decision to restructure and rewrite this work from head to toe. After nearly a year and a half of a lackluster ability to write, I find myself invigorated to take this story on once again. My darkness has passed and I want to make this right. In fact, I even have the first few chapters drafted, the first on its way to completion, and a more coherent story planned overall. The major plot points will remain generally the same, but with a few changes.
Now for my inquiry:
I plan to post my revamped work within this one, omitting the old story which you've known for this long. This means any of the writings I've done for the old work will no longer be available to read, so I ask you: are you interested in having the old story remain available? It will be some time before I have a sufficient number of chapters to post all at once and replace what I've written, so this contemplation will marinate for a span before any changes are made. I'm still thinking on my own preferences, and I'll do what I feel is right, but I'd like your input as well. You're just as much a part of this as I am.
