"Uh?" Rei said as she nearly jumped out of her skin.

Lita was taken aback with Rei's little surprised reaction. She wondered if fighting with the dark forces had gotten to Rei. Rei is usually calm, cool and collected. They needed a break of sorts. Lita asked, "What's wrong?"

Rei forced smile with great deal of fake sincerity, "With what?"

"You have no idea what you look like!" she said. Lita sighed. She realized there was a great deal of awkwardness in rei's part.

Rei turned to catch a glimpse of Lita who was standing in the kitchen; she was hoping rei was finish out the dishes before starting on the living room

"And what you are coming into my life?" she asked.

"I should be asking you that!" Lita said with a smile.

"I have to stop…I'm not making any sense…I'm not…am I?" rei was with a cocked-eyed look on her face.

"Not today. I think we have been fighting too hard when we face Galaxia's minions. Right?' Lita asked. She was being serious. She had been thinking of what Serena had said a few years earlier. Serena wanted to be a normal high school girl with all the headaches that went along with the day-to-day pressures of being a young kid. Since the Sailor Senshi had be tapped into the life of a super hero troop, they and been forced into a long line of foes that could have been just mere obstacles on their way of being adults.

"Maybe…I had just a vision of what will happen if we don't keep ourselves on our toes…there is more to this than we had planned in the first place!"

"And you think the Galaxia is on the move?" Lita asked. She knew the rest of the girls needed a rest. They needed an outlet.

"Maybe…" Rei sighed; she placed a hand up to her chin.

Then, the two girls heard Serena's voice signing off key. At first, they believed she was in pain just from the fact of the loudness. Then, they heard her feet running up to the kitchen. There was another set of two more feet trailing behind her. Lita turned to see a red-faced Serena. She asked a little bogeyed, "What's up?"

Serena swallowed a lung full of air and whispered loudly "We won!"

"Won what?" Lita asked. She placed a hand on Serena's shoulder in order to make Serena calm.

Serena bent down and gasped, "These!"

Rei watched as Serena handed a set of six or so tickets to Lita. Then, Serena babbled on about going to a concert. The three lights were asked to play in the concert. It felt normal for now, but rei still and to be her toes for the impending darkness which was about to come.

Washu was not very spiritualistic. She was a scientist who dealt with facts at times than just mere magic. She was working on finding out who or what owned the letters and the pictures of the house she and the rest of the masiski clan was staying. She had her portable computer on her bedside table. She had been sharing a room with Ryoko since they had arrived in Salem in the earliest part of January.

She knew Ryoko was out hanging around with seiya Taiki and Jamie. Tinny was with Jerry could not come to play basketball with Jamie. Tinny wanted to find out how to fix a newer car with the computer. He was still learning about the latest car.

Washu heard the noises of the sweeper being used by Tenchi. He had his daily chore of cleaning the front room. He had no complaints about doing the chore. Ayeka and Sasami were doing the straighten out of the kitchen. Sasami wanted to do the kitchen for some time. She knew there was going to be less time cooking and more time just grabbing a quick bite. Mishio and Keyone were doing laundry. The girls had to do a few loads of sheets and towels a weekly basis. The dryer was acting up and Washu had been playing the waiting game with it. She believed there was a bug in the system.

Washu had a camera home system. There was no going to be any chances taken with Yugi or Kagato breaking in. Washu heard rumors from other people about strange goings on. She had heard about the Galaxia minions hooking up with Yugi with all the intentions of breaking down the earth's last line of defense.

She had her notes neatly stacked on one side of her bed. The window was open with the screen covering the opening. She could hear the noises of a few lawn mowers buzzing around in the distance. It was hot and the noise just made it hotter still.

Washu's mini-computer was turned on as it rested on the nightstand. There was a small bottle of water on a pillow at the foot of Washu's bed.

The clock radio on her nightstand was preset for about two in the afternoon. Washu wanted to hear the latest new, if possible. She was hoping to catch a little bit of news and then, the weather. She was going to try out a new experiment. She was hoping to make it rain. It was too hot for her. She had missed the idea of having her sudo-space being around. There was bug in the system, which it made the words on her mainframe crash.

She had been working on her computer since the yearly morning. She needed a break, as day was growing hotter still.

"Today is July the sixteen, two thousand…and this is morning edition…with Scott Simon," the announcer on the radio said. The announcer seemed normal enough and yet the world was changing. it was growing smaller and more complicated.

Washu was unaware of the unseen creatures who spied on her from the bedroom window. It was a pretty cover up in the way of mechanics. It appeared to a translucent winged bug, bigger than a common housefly. The wings glinted in the sunlight. It remained like a masterpiece of a jeweler's case.

At the same time, Sasami was climbing the stairs with a load of dried Laundry. She had to make a stop at Washu's room first. It was quite the load as Sasami placed the basket on the top of the landing. Ry-oh-ki was resting on Sasami's left shoulder. The little cabbit helped Sasami in the folding. Sasami have the clothesbasket a good shove that caused it to slide in the general direction of Washu's bedroom. Everything was a too still. In a few seconds of time, the bug on the window screen has carefully melted through the metal mesh not the screen. Washu was too involved with her work to even notice the new intruder climbing in through the neatly melted hole through the screen. Sasami noticed Washu's door was opened. She had Washu's laundry all done. She was going to give Washu her laundry first.

"Today in Washington…the pentagon was busy with new recruits…" Scott Simon said on the radio. Sasami had Washu's laundry on top of the stack. She carefully bent down to pick up the stack of tops and shorts. She could have smelled a faint warm metical odor in the air. She thought nothing of it. Ryoh-ki was sleeping as Sasami straightened herself out before walking over to Washu's bedroom. Washu heard the knock on her door. She stopped typing long enough for her to glance up and say, "Yes?"

"It's me..." Sasami smiled, holding up the stack of clean clothes.

"Oh...Thanks, Sasami!" Exclaimed Washu.

The bug had been checking out the surroundings which was limited to just a small stand after it landed on the stand. It heard the two girl talking alongside the drone of the radio. It began to fix its antenna to pick up the conversation between Sasami and Washu.

"Once I get a porthole between here and back home...we will have it made!" Washu smiled.

Sasami wanted to stay a little while longer. She liked her new friends she had made in reenie, hotura, chibi-chibi, Abby and skuld. She was a princess of a far off planet. She also knew her family was only staying until next January in Salem.

"It would be nice to dad and grandpa, but it's fun here too!" Sasami sighed, cocking her to one side.

Washu knew how Sasami felt about Salem. It was a dot on the Ohio state map, but it was friendly and quiet little town. She wanted to ask everyone else the house before finishing on her project.

The unseen force who controlled the Bug recording the entire conversation between Sasami and Washu was in the depths of a small corner of space and time. Yugi, who was keeping an eye on Sasami. She had feelings she be looking out for Sasami's protection.

Yugi had heard the secret conversations between kagoto and tiger eye's. She began to think what the power of a star seed is. She had some idea of what it was when after piecing things together for a while what kagoto was getting into.

"Where do you want me to put your clothes at?' Sasami questioned Washu with a glance at a closest.

"Just put them on my bed, I'm going to take a break, " Washu sighed. She had a work ethic of trying to accomplish things even at great neck speed!

Ry-oh-ki's ear twitched from the heat. It seemed like a cue.

Yugi watched and calculated an instant plan of attack at Washu and a possible kidnapping of Sasami. The big was equipped with a possible stun dart. There was only one dart, which it meant for no room for mistake. Yugi had to act quickly to get Sasami.

As Sasami walked over to the closet, she was unaware of the bug. It took careful steps in finding the right corner in which to take off from. It found the middle left was the easiest to take flight.

"No... I'm going to get a bite in a few minutes...there if there still melon in the fridge." Washu said.

"There are grapes in there...they are from yesterday," Sasami sighed, remembering how there was a fight between Ayeka and Ryoko on who was going to eat up the melon first.

If by an unseen cue, the bug hopped into the air with a quick leap. It buzzed in lighting speed over to where Sasami was standing a

Ry-oh-ki was going to wake up her little nap at the same time as the bug tried to reach Sasami. Then, if by strange chance the two had collided at the same time. It happened when Ry-oh-ki had have a quick stretch before jumping off of Sasami's shoulder and the Bug had reached near Sasami's neck. Ry-oh-ki had a painful clash between herself and the bug in midair.

They were going to crash land into the bedroom rug. Sasami and Washu both saw the collision between the little cabbit and the bug. The bug became temporally blinded by Ry-oh-ki it wanted to fight back from the approaching mound of fur. With all six legs forming in a long striking spike, the bug attacked Ry-oh-ki.

in a flash of hands, Sasami dove in time to catch her little furry friend. Meanwhile the bug was entangled in Ry-oh-ki's fur. The it became a mess of legs and antennae.

Washu was surprised to see the outcome of the now bug and cabbit ensnared frenzy.

Ry-oh-ki was now rolling around on the rug. Sasami was trying to catch the little cabbit. Ry-oh-ki was batting like mad trying to get a hold of the bug who was digging uit's way out of the little cabbit's fur.

The noise was so loud, Ayeka who was climbing up the stairs, darted up them in a leap and ran thought Washu's opened bedroom door. She asked, "What's going on?"

"I'm not sure!" Washu said as she quickly got off of her bed.

Ayeka bolted into the bedroom with a look of utter surprise on her face.

Washu had a slim chance of getting a hold of the bug. She lunged at Ry-oh-ki with a rapid sweep of her hands. The little cabbit was scooped up in a flash, While the bug was in for the ride. "What is wrong with you?" She asked the little cabbit.

After holding Ry-oh-ki what seemed a long struggle, Washu found the bug. The bug was trying to free itself for just split second only to be snatched up by Washu.

At the same time Yugi was getting into the struggle. She hoped for the bug to either bite either Washu or Ry-oh-ki. Her eyes glinted with a look of evil helpfulness. She had to control the outcome of the fight of biblical scale.

She had the bug set up in secret to attack the Maski household except Sasami. She wanted the second in the juyrain royal line all to herself.

The old adage of things not going well as planned had to deal on yugi's shoulders. She watched from her viewing port as Washu pulled off the bug from its fur. She gasped in shock as Washu began to examine the bug with a careful eye. She let Ry-oh-ki go with her other hand.

"What is this?" Questioned the red-headed scientist. She turned the bug slowly in the sunlight. The clear wings and body of the insect was a stroke of shear genius. It squirmed in frantic dance of sorts. It. was like the bug was trying to find a possible means of escape.

"How big you are, fella!" Exclaimed Washu with a hint of surprise.

"It looks like a huge horse-fly," Ayeka said as walked up towards where Washu was sitting at.

Sasami had been at the closest to pick up the clothesbasket. She and the other two watched as Ry-oh-ki had wrestled with the bug. Then, Washu had gotten off the bed to snatch up the little cabbit. Finally, Washu pulled off the bug from Ry-oh-ki's fur. The normally bubbly princess became a little withdraw wrapped in fear. She had an inkling of what or who was behind the bug attack. Sasami did not want to say a word when over to Washu's nightstand. She was piecing in a flash it was Yugi.

Ayeka asked, *Do you think it was kagoto behind this?" She was quick as she thought of possible one other person behind the bug attacking little cabbit.

"I'm going to see if this is the real thing or…" Wahu began to said before all four heard a dry snap. Washu looked down and found her fingers had snapped open the bug. There were fine wires and what looked like a tiny motherboard inside of the bug. It buzzed for a few minutes before hissing the ending of such intriguing creature's life.

A tiny bit of smoke gave Ayeka pause before she sighed, "It's going to be a while before you can have a look at it!"

Washu was not discouraged…. she was going to take it apart one or another. There was a glimmer in her eye, "There is more than one way to figure this out…. I want to see if Kagoto was behind this or not!"

"What about you…Ry-oh-ki…" Sasami uttered as she walked over to where the little cabbit was. She bent down to take her little friend into her arms. Ry-oh-ki did not protest as Sasami cradled the cabbit in her arms. "Are you all right?"

"Meow!" sighed Ry-oh-ki. She was grateful to be free from the bug. She was scared of being bit by that bug.

At the same time, Yugi was to finding herself at a small disadvantage. With a thought made of mental quicksilver, she had disappeared from her safe hole in universe. She had to act fast if it was to work. She came up with a plan of once again to kidnap Sasami. There had to be no room for error. She knew kagoto if he was there he could block her attempt in the process.

In seconds of a heartbeat, Yugi was there in Washu's bedroom. Sasami, Ayeka and Washu were shocked. Instantly, Ry-oh-ki became protective of Sasami.

With an evil smirk, Yugi asked, "Sorry to intrude...but I wanted to a Sasami a question?"

Ry-oh-ki began to hiss and more harshly. She was starting to get her nerve back. She had a feeling the darkness was starting to take over. She was a little more Intune with the idea the dark forces were at work. She had to tell the others yugi or Kagato was on the move.

"What are you doing here?" Washu asked, she was trying to figure out as fast she could how Yugi showed up in her room as fast as lighting.

Sasami was frightened of the idea of being kidnapped by Yugi. It happened just a few years ago. Yet, it was still fresh in Sasami's mind as if it happened yesterday. She asked, "Are you going to hurt me?"

"What?" Yugi asked. She was dressed in the anti-cloaking shield, which had covered her body when she was in the outer limits. Now, she was dressed in a simple pair of shorts and a tank top. She looked like any other normal little girl.

"I just wanted to know…I…" Sasami began to say. Then, she was cut off quickly with a sweep of Yugi's hand.

Yugi was quick as she raised her left hand to swipe at the air, which cases Sasami to lose her voice entirely. She growled, "silence, you were my friend…at one time!"

Sasami stood there in shook as she tried to speak to find out she could not. She placed a hand up to her neck to feel it as she tried to speak. She stared widely at her sister Ayeka. Ayeka was going to stop Yugi one way or another. She had slowly forgotten how rough Yugi was in her powers. Yugi did take down Ryoko at the temple with a single blow. Then, Yugi tried to defeat the rest of the girls and bring down Tenchi to his knees. Tenchi being an earth protector and part of the royal family of Jurai proved to be a huge chink in Yugi's defense.

"Don't worry…. about the loss of your voice Sasami!" purred Yugi. She started to walk towards her former best friend.

"What did you do to my sister?" Ayeka growled. She had all the will of her family inside of her crying out for revenge.

Yugi had a smirk so fast, the other three was going to pop a vain. Sasami was about to cry when Washu asked, "If you don't mind giving Sasami's back her voice. If you just ask about having your life being happy in ruining someone else's…then you are just plain nuts!"

Yugi was now getting close. Sasami thought, "Yugi why did you did this to me…I was your friend and I helped you realize with everyone's help including Tenchi's. we were so happy together that one summer."

Yugi felt Sasami's thoughts in her mind…as though they were racing around, trying to get her attention. She gave Sasami a glance. She asked, "What did you say?"

Sasami shook her head. She was still unable to speak, but her look was giving Yugi the chills.

At that moment, Ryoko was entering her bedroom with Jamie. She said without looking at the others, "I'll be a minute!"

It was like time had stopped for just a minute or two. Ryoko stood to see who was now in the room. After her eyes glanced at Yugi, Ryoko began to get upset. She asked, "What is she doing here?"

"she came unannounced. She is just leaving…" Washu huffed. She glanced first at Ryoko who was entering the room, then at Yugi. She was giving Yugi the "get away' look.

"I'm here for a visit…. that's all," Yugi smirked.

"Yea right…where did I hear that one before!" Ryoko huffed.

"Ryoko what are you doing?" Jamie asked. He was now standing in the hallway.

"I'm getting something. Just go down stairs and wait. I'll be down a couple!" exclaimed Ryoko in a cool and calm manor.

"O.K." Jamie shrugged. He turned to leave the hallway and head the stairs. He glanced at Washu and Yugi. He was not mad, but he worried about what was going on in the bedroom. He said, "I'm going to see if Tenchi is back..."

"And you just stay there for a minute or two…" Ryoko said. She knew Jamie was not a part of the fight. She hoped he was going to stay down stairs until the girls had resolved their differences.

Jamie was gone down the stairs within a minute. Ryoko said quietly, "He shouldn't be involved…Jamie's too nice of a guy to be mixed with this!"

"Jamie…who's Jamie?" Yugi asked she was puzzled about this new friend of Ryoko's. she glanced at Ryoko asked, "Where he came from?"

"He's English and I met him a little while ago…" Ryoko sighed.

"is that all?" Yugi asked.

"Yea, he's like everyone else. We just want to live our lives with no problems. We are happy who we are!" she said.

"You have a strange way of doing it. You ignore Tenchi over seeing this Jamie!"

"what?" Ryoko said. She was going to ramin calm about what Yugi was saying.

Look…Yugi, since we came here, we have had make new friends and have great times!" Washu added, she was starting to feel like Yugi was pulling more than one chain. "We have a better understand of what and how the world is. You have been bitter since you were revered!"

"What?" Yugi gaped. She knew she had been sleeping at the Maski shrine for a while, but for how long?

"We have moved on to another place…this is Salem Ohio and we are trying to live our lives that someone had instructed us to do. We have no idea what was going with fate. Yet, we managed to pull thought every day…Yugi…" Washu said as she stared right at Yugi.

"What is it?" Yugi asked a little stunned.

"Who brought you back…it was not your time…yet," Washu said.

"what do you mean…not my time, I have been alone for too long. Sasami was the only one who showed kindness," Yugi growled.

Sasami glanced as she tried to mouth the words to anything she was feeling in her mind. She felt upset with the anger that was building up in herself. She wanted to talk to Yugi. It was not happening. She mouthed how she felt to Yugi to no avail.

"You want to talk to me?" Yugi asked Samsi.

Sasmai shook her head.

"Very well then." she snapped her fingers.

Yugi was a loss for words when Sasami not glared at her. Instead, she gasped as the words was blurted out, "Why did you this to me?"

There were a few minutes of complete and dead silence. Yugi had to come up with a boring out down. Sasami stared at Yugi with sad eyes. She was about to cry. She took a breath before she said, "Why did you do this to me?"

Yugi could see Sasami was hurt. After a few minutes of thinking, Yugi said, "You were my friend at one time. You have only nice things to say!"

"You have changed…there is a change you have done to yourself!" Ryoko said.

"Uh?" yugi was surprised.

"You have no idea what had happened to you?" Washu asked, she was going to get to the bottom of why Yugi had changed back to her old self.

"I have not changed!" Yugi said after she came to the conclusion of no changes in herself.

Sasami had no hate for Yugi. All she had was for Yugi was pity. It could have a great friendship if only Yugi did not have jealously ruling her mind and heart. "I thought you were my friend, Yugi. I could count on you to be like the way you were when I first met you at the shop…" Sasami sighed

Yugi had to act quickly if she to pull back into her world. "What…that's a long time ago!"

"and what about now?" Sasami said, she sounded so small, so hurt. She was going to confront one of her closest friends.

Yugi had a feeling of being put on the spot. She did not like that. She snapped coldly, "I'm not longer your friend. You have a problem with that?"

All eyes were now on Yugi. She had to retreat somehow without a scratch. She said, "I don't need your pity!"

Ryoko was quick to say, "You didn't devise pity. You need help…we can help you with the problem has to do with Kagato."

"What?" Yugi said as she looked at each one of the girls. She had no idea what was going to happen if she did leave. Kagato was a player…he was using yugi to get to another plateau in his goal of taking the source of Tenchi's power.

"I want you to be the very best in my circle of friends. There was a unique quality about you that make you like Sasmsi," Washu said. She sounded like she knew there was two people living inside of Yugi. How was the old, hateful creature which made Yugi an unholy terror to the people of Juri fear her,?

Yugi was fast in saying, "What about your new friends, Reenie and that Hotura?"

"I like them too…it's so nice to have many friends!" Sasmai said.

"Nice to have many which could stab you in the back…" Yugi hissed. Her anger was starting to grow. It was a feeling she was very well equated with. She knew Sasami was gentle child who liked everyone. To the best of her own knowledge, Yugi loved Sasami like a sister. She was just still a child within her own realm and needed a friend to play with.

"that's not true!" sasami said in a hurt tone. She felt her own heart breaking. She wanted to make yugi change, but it was no use.

"And what will happen to you don't follow me?" Yugi snapped. Her eyes flash hotly as she raised her hand to snap her fingers. She instantly transported them to another dimension. She said, "I have not been here and felt anger at you!"

"What?" Sasami gasped. She felt frightened a little.

"Why are you doing this to us?" Washu asked.

"I wanted to see you and your reaction. You are such little playthings. You are so fun to watch as you squirm around like little fish in a bowl!" Yugi sneered. She wanted to reach out to grab Sasami and hurt her dearly.

"That's not fair. You have to send us back," Ryoko glowed. She knew Yugi was using this kidnapping as an excuse to get one step closer to Katago's real intent, to wipe Tenchi off the face of the earth.

"what's fair in that?" Yugi hissed. She had only a few minutes before she could close up the gap between her world and earth. "I just want to play!"

Then, as fast as time was closing around them in bridging the gap, another force was opening up. It was pure and full of positive energy. At first, Ayeka had a feeling it was tenchi. He did have ties to the royal house of Juari. He could harness his powers into the light hawk wings. He was still young and inexperienced with the use of his powers. He had been training for a few years. He needed Yonbuyuiki ti help him shape his powers into a more useful tool.

Then, something else crossed Ayeka's mind. Was it sasami trying to get her mind to focused on getting back home. She did not have time to stop and think. She had to stay focused.

"What…where is this power?" Yugi asked. She felt like she was under attack from within. She needed Kagato like he needed her for her powers.

In a heartbeat, the dimension which held the girls in its hold was starting to weaken. Yugi looked around in a widl search. It seemed she was not the only one. Ayaeka, Ryoko, Sasami and Wahsu ran to each other to group around each other for protection of sorts. Then, a greater light had merged.

And everything was restarted once again.

Washu was at her work, Sasami was climbing the stairs and Ry-oh-ki was napping. It seemed like nothing had happened. Or did it.

Rio and Rei were at the library. It seemed very boring to Rei. She felt like she was stuck in a dull place. Yet, the A/C was nice. Rio could make do with anything she could find. She was busy with the computer. She lived for writing. She found an old box that she had packed away. It was a small box, but instead of things she had forgotten. She had no idea as she skimmed through the box she was going to really kick start her writing.

She was going to stay there for the rest of the day if she wanted to. The dark forces of Galaxia were not moving at the present time. She was happy with that. Rei happened to start going through the stacks. She had found an old copy of a book that she had believe it was lost with the passenger of time. She said to herself, "Where did you come from?"

The book remained quiet it sat there on the shelf. She looked at the book before reaching up to take it in her hands. The book was quite old. It had seen better days as tiny balls of dust floated out of the spine. Rei said to herself, "I have never seen this book before. I wondered if you have something to tell me?"

Carefully Rei opened the book. There were a few lines written on the fly leaf of the book. It was hard to make out, because of the written was done in pencil. She also noticed the age of the book. It was like time was not good to the book. She said, "I'm going to check you out."

It was like she was carefully nudged to taking the book out. She had other things to do, but one small book was not going to make or reach her summer. She wanted to have a break from all the day to day routine and from being a sailor. She was going to be at a large reading area in the library. It was passed the stacks on the right. There was large arch way with a long row of shelves on one side and on the other was an opened area with old fashion, long spindled benches for reading.

Rei walked over to take a seat on the bench. She was finally going to have some quiet time. It was hard to be in one house with eleven other girls and three cats. It could drive any normal person nuts. Yet, there was growth and strength in the bonds of being a Sailor Senshi. She liked to be herself once in a while.

When Rei opened the book, she found the book very different. At first she began to read it with some idea of what could have dull afternoon, the book was rather a little exciting at first. The opening scenes of war was quick played out. The soldiers were all so young and frightened. Somehow she knew the feeling of war. She and the other senshi were fighting for so long, rei could relate to the young men who were set off to war. She found out the book was set in the middle of war world one. Then, she had found a young solider named Fredric and a young British nurse named Catherine in the edges of war.
