Months passed. Jessica trained with Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. On June 1st, Master Eraqus had exciting news. "On the 30th of this month, Terra and Aqua will take the Mark of Mastery exam," He announced.

"Does anyone know what that day is?" Jessica smirked.

"Is it some sort of Holiday?" Ventus wondered.

"Nope. It's my birthday!" Jessica exclaimed excitedly.

"Really?" Terra asked.

"Yep," Jessica replied.

"Master Eraqus, could we have a party for her on the 29th?" Aqua inquired.

Master Eraqus nodded, then said, "I also have some business to attend to in another world for a few days, so I'm leaving Terra in charge. I'll be back on the day of the party." Then he left.

"Why the day before my birthday, Aqua?" Jessica wondered.

"We might not have enough time on your birthday to have a party," Aqua explained.

The days passed quickly. The four friends trained hard together. Soon the day of the party came. Jessica woke to a knock on her door. "Come in!" Jessica shouted.

Master Eraqus entered. "Jessica, get dressed and come outside. There's a surprise for you," He instructed before he left the room.

So Jessica got dressed and went outside. She spotted Master Eraqus, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus talking with two people she knew very well. "Mom? Dad?" She gasped.

"Hello, Jessica. How have you been?" Jessica's mother inquired.

"Great," Jessica answered happily.

"We don't have long, but we figured that we would give you your present. Happy birthday Jessica," Jessica's father said, giving her a present.

"It's from me as well," Master Eraqus added.

"Can I open it?" Jessica squealed excitedly.

"Go ahead," Jessica's mother urged. She ripped the paper and opened the box. It was a golden necklace with a pick round gem in the middle.

"It's beautiful," Jessica gasped.

"Put it on," Master Eraqus chuckled.

"Ven, can you help me?" Jessica requested.

"Sure," Ventus agreed, coming to her to put the necklace on.

"Thanks," Jessica said after he finished.

"Press the pink gem," Master Eraqus instructed.

"Um, okay," Jessica replied. When she pressed it, there was a light surrounding her. When it faded, she was in pink armor. There was another bright light, and the armor was gone.

"Wow! My own armor! This is so cool! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Jessica squealed.

"Well, it's about time for us to go. Goodbye, Jessica," Lumaria stated.

"Bye, Mom. Bye, Dad. Thank you," Jessica said. They nodded, and Master Eraqus took them back to Sunset Kingdom. Jessica took off her armor.

"What were you talking to my parents about?" Jessica wondered.

"They wanted to know how you were doing," Terra explained.

"Do you miss your world, Jess?" Aqua questioned.

"Well, I'm happy here, but you know, I would like to visit it sometime. I doubt Master Eraqus will ever let me. Whenever I ask, he always says that I can't leave this world until I'm older," Jessica sighed unhappily.

"You'll be able to go someday. He can't keep you here forever," Ventus assured her.

"Yeah. Maybe we could go together," Jessica suggested.

"Oh yeah! There's going to be a meteor shower tonight, and I was wondering if we all could watch it together," Ventus recalled.

"Sounds like fun," Jessica replied.

"I'm not sure Terra and I can make it on time, but you two can start without us," Aqua stated.

"Okay. Hey, what if I open my presents from you guys after it's over," Jessica smiled.

"Sounds great," Terra agreed.

"Okay," Aqua said happily.

"Let's do it!" Ventus exclaimed.
