I don't own Sailor Moon or Kingdom Hearts.

When Jessica went to sleep, she had a strange dream. She was standing on a stained glass platform that had a picture of her, Terra, Ventus, and Aqua in the center. Surrounding them were ten circles with pictures of seven women, two girls, and one man inside them. The woman were one who had short blue hair and blue eyes, one who had long black hair and purple eyes, one with brown hair pulled up in a pony tail and green eyes, one with long blond hair with a red bow in the back of her head and blue eyes, one who had long dark green hair with a bun on the back of her head and purple eyes, one who had short blond hair and blue eyes, and one with wavy green hair and blue eyes. The girls were one with shoulder length black hair and purple eyes and one that had pink hair that was styled like her own hair and red eyes. The man had black hair, a white mask, and a top hat.

The girl with pink hair from the picture appeared in the center of the platform, though she looked older. She walked toward Jessica. "Who are you?" Jessica asked.

"My name is Usagi Small Lady Serenity, queen of Silver Millennium. In your previous life, I was your daughter." The girl replied.

"What? Your not my daughter. I don't even have a daughter. I'm too young to have a daughter." Jessica said.

"Not in this life, but in your life before this one." Usagi explained.

"So you're saying that I was reborn into this life? You know what, never mind. This is just a really weird dream." Jessica huffed.

"I can assure you that this is not a dream. You will know what I'm saying is true when Luna tells you. You need to find your guardians. Not all of them will look like they did in your previous life. Please remember who you are soon, Sailor Moon." Usagi pleaded as she faded away.

Jessica woke up in a cold sweat. She wondered how anyone could be as sweaty as her. She was absolutely soaked. It was almost as though someone had dumped water over her. She got dressed, and went into the room where Aqua and Terra were going to take their Mark of Mastery exams in. Master Eraqus, Terra, Aqua and Ventus were already there. Jessica was surprised that Ventus was up before her since he was often the last person to get up in the morning. "Look who decided to wake up. I tried to wake you, but you were in a deep sleep. Not even the bucket of water trick woke you up." Terra laughed.

"You poured water on my head!?" Jessica shouted. That was when she realized that she hadn't woken up in sweat. Terra really did dump water over her. Suddenly Terra looked serious. Jessica put her fists up, ready to make him pay, but was stopped by a hand on her shoulder. She turned around and there was Xehanort. Jessica's face turned red from embarrassment. "M-Master Xehanort. I didn't see you there." Xehanort walked over to Master Eraqus and chatted with him for a few minutes, before walking over to one of the chairs and sat down.

"Everyone, take your places." Master Eraqus ordered. Terra and Aqua stood in the middle of the room, while Jessica and Ventus stood at the edge of the room. Master Eraqus walked over to Terra and Aqua. "Today you will be examined for the Mark of Mastery. Not one but two of the keyblade's chosen stand here as candidates. This is not a competition, nor a battle for supremacy. Not a test of will, but a test of heart. Both of you may prevail, or neither, but I am sure our guest, Master Xehanort, did not come all this way to see our youngest prospects in years fall short of the mark. I trust you are ready."

"Yes." Terra and Aqua replied confidently.

Master Eraqus summoned his keyblade. "Then let the examination begin." He said.

Master Eraqus made orbs of light appear. Suddenly, darkness surrounded the orbs. Terra and Aqua started destroying the orbs. One of the orbs drifted to Ventus and Jessica. "Ven! Jess!" Terra and Aqua exclaimed. Jessica and Ventus summoned their keyblades and started fighting the orbs.

"Don't worry about us, you two focus on the exam!" Ventus exclaimed.

"But Ven, your in danger here! Go take Jessica and wait in your room." Aqua demanded.

"No way! I've been looking forward to this, seeing you two become masters! I'm not going to miss it now!" Ven shouted back.

"Me too! I may not have known you as long as Ven, but you're still my friends!" Jessica added.

"They can take care of themselves. They've been training just as hard as us." Terra assured Aqua.

"Yeah!" Ventus agreed.

"Stay sharp you two!" Aqua called back.

This was it. Jessica's first real fight. She closed her eyes and she could feel where the light covered in darkness was. She slashed through one and destroyed it. She cast a fire spell on the next one. Suddenly without realizing what she was doing, she opened her eyes and shouted "Moon tiara boomerang!" She threw her keyblade at the remaining orbs that Aqua, Terra, and Ventus weren't fighting. Her keyblade bounced off of one and hit another until the orbs were destroyed. When they were destroyed, Jessica caught her keyblade. Terra, Aqua, Jessica and Ventus took their places again. "Where did you learn how to do that?" Ventus whispered.

"I don't know." Jessica replied quietly.

"That was unexpected, but one must keep a still heart even in the most trying of circumstances. It was an excellent test. One I chose to let unfold. Which brings us to your next trial. Now, Terra and Aqua, the two of you will face each other in combat. Remember, there are no winners, only truths, for when equal powers clash, their nature is revealed. Begin!" Master Eraqus ordered. Terra and Aqua started fighting. Terra's hand became covered in darkness. The fight continued. Jessica held her breath. She knew if Master Xehanort or Master Eraqus noticed it, Terra would not become a Keyblade Master. After what seemed like hours to Jessica, the battle ended. "We have deliberated and reached a decision. Terra, Aqua, you both performed commendably. However, only Aqua has shown the mark of mastery. Terra, you failed to keep the darkness with in you sufficiently in check, but there is always next time. That is all. Aqua as our newest Keyblade Master, you are entitled to certain knowledge. Please wait here for further instruction." Master Eraqus said.

Jessica and Ventus ran to Terra and Aqua. "Terra, I'm sorry." Ventus sighed.

"The darkness, where did it come from?" Terra mumbled.

"Terra, I don't think the darkness is all bad." Jessica tried.

"Jessica, don't say such foolish things! Of course darkness is bad." Aqua scolded.

"Sorry, I need some time alone." Terra muttered.

"Jessica-" Aqua started in an angry tone.

"Aqua, not today. You can say that the darkness is completely bad all you want, but that won't make me change my opinion. Even the light needs something to balance it out!" Jessica shouted. Before Aqua could say anything else, Jessica stormed off to her bedroom.

Jessica was very surprised that Luna was on her bed and not on the dresser where she left Luna, but she was too upset to think too hard about it. She sat at her vanity and pouted. "Hello, Jessica." A voice greeted. Jessica looked around her room. She was confused when she didn't see anyone. "On the bed." Jessica turned to her bed. Luna was walking on it. Jessica screamed. "Would you keep it down please?"

"You talk?" Jessica asked. Before Luna could respond they heard a bell ring. Jessica ran out of the room and went to the training room.

Terra and Aqua were already there. She took her place next to them. Master Eraqus was talking to a communication device that looked like a shining pink jewel. He walked over to the trio. "That was my dear old friend Yen Sid. As you know he is Master no more, but he still keeps a close eye on the tides of light and darkness. His counsel serves as sign posts on the road we wielders of the keyblade must walk. All the more reason for concern, for he tells me the princesses of heart are in danger. Not only from the forces of darkness, which you may assume, but also from a new threat, one that feeds on negativity fledgling emotions which have taken monster form. Yen Sid calls them the Unversed. As wielders of the keybade, you are tasked with striking down any who would upset the balance between light and darkness. The Unversed are no exception. I tried to pass this news to Master Xehanort, but my repeated attempts to reach him failed. I doubt there's any connection and yet, this all troubles me." Master Eraquas explained.

"Master Xehanort is gone?" Terra questioned.

"So here we are. Terra and Aqua, I need you two to get this situation under control. Eliminate the Unversed, and find Master Xehanort. I'll unlock the lanes between. We use these forbidden pathways to travel between this world and countless others. The darkness is closer than usual within these spaces, but your armor will protect you. Lastly remember that order must be kept. You cannot tell anyone there are other worlds. Go, and fulfill your duty." Master Eraqus ordered.

"Yes Master." The trio said simultaneously.

"Not you Jessica. You will stay here and train with Ventus." Master Eraqus added.

"What?! This is so unfair!" Jessica huffed.

"Jessica enough! You may watch Terra and Aqua leave, but then you are to go straight to your room! Do you understand?" Master Eraqus snapped. Jessica became afraid. She had never seen Master Eraqus angry and she knew that she wouldn't want to see him angry.

"Yes Master." Jessica mumbled.

Terra turned to leave, but Master Eraqus called him back. "Terra. Consider this an opportunity. A second chance to change my mind."

"What?" Terra asked, wondering if he heard right.

"You must know I care for you like my own son. If I had my way, I would name you Master in a second, but how can I when you are so obsessed with power? Terra, you mustn't be afraid of losing. Fear leads to obsession with power. Obsession beckons the darkness. You must never forget." Master Eraqus replied.

"Thank you Master." Terra stated. He and Jessica went outside. "Stand back. I don't want to accidentally hurt you." Jessica obeyed.

Ventus whizzed past her. "Terra!" He yelled. She was too far away to hear the rest of what was said. Aqua came and stood next to her. She saw Terra put on his armor and transform his keyblade into a glider and open up a lane between. Terra flew through it.

Suddenly Ventus put on his armor and turned his keyblade into a glider and flew after Terra. Jessica and Aqua ran to Ventus, but it was too late. "Ventus!" Jessica shouted, but he was already gone.

Master Eraqus ran to where Jessica and Aqua were. "No. He mustn't. Aqua, you have to bring him back." He fretted.

"Don't worry Master." Aqua stated. She put on her armor and turned her keyblade into her glider and flew away.

"Does this mean I don't have to go to my room?" Jessica asked. "Yes, you still are required to return to your room. I suggest that you go now. The incident with Ventus did not improve my mood." Master Eraqus growled. Jessica trudged back to her room.

Wow, this was a really long chapter. I hope you enjoyed it.
