Hello, I've had this idea in the back of my mind for a while and didn't fully develop it until a few weeks ago as I was working on another story. It took some work around and editing to make this as sensible as possible. Now, first thing is that the story takes place some time before the main story of Re: Zero so if you don't see Subaru it's because he hasn't arrived yet. As to why I did this is because I wanted to try something different which can be good or bad but I like to experiment with ideas and after much debating this was the idea. Anyway hope you can enjoy the first chapter and if not then leave a comment on what can be improved. Having that out of the way, let's get on to the story.

The following is a fan-written story. My Hero Academia belongs to Horikoshi Kouhei and Re: Zero belongs to Tappei Nagatsuki. Please support the official release.

"*Heavy breathing* Is... is it over now?" those were the heavy breathing of one Izuku Midoriya, age sixteen. He had forest-green curly hair with emerald-colored eyes and four dot freckles in each cheek that formed into a diamond. He was wearing a green skintight outfit that had black highlights running through the sides, the sleeves were torn with his right being torn up close to his shoulder and his left just above his wrist, he had a red utility belt around his waist, a grey-metal respirator around his neck, he also wore black knee pads that extended throughout his leg up to his thigh that was fastened with four yellow bolts on each side of his knees, red high top shoes, and iron soles. Izuku was on all four on the ground as he was trying to catch his breath after having one of the biggest fights in his early Hero career. Though, we should start at the very beginning to understand how it all went down.

It all began in China, in Qingqing City. There was news that a baby that gave off light was born and ever since then, superpowers were discovered in various places and time passed without the cause ever being identified. Before we knew it the supernatural became normal, and dreams became reality. The world became a superhuman society and about 80% of the world population now has some kind of special trait or Quirk. Along with superpowers came an explosive increase in crime. As the country was stuck in the slow progress of drastic law reform, courageous people started performing heroic acts from out of comic books. Guarding against superpowers and defending against evil. Heroes were soon accepted by the public, and it was established as an official position.

However, the world could be an unfair place, with 20% of the world's population not having any special traits, they were labeled as Quirkless or from the greenette's experience, less than dirt. He belonged in this group for a large part of his life until he met his mentor and idol All Might, a Hero that was larger than life and the Symbol of Peace. His mentor needed an inheritor, to pass the torch to the next successor for he knew his time was short before he would be needed to retire from Heroics. It wasn't the greatest of first meetings between the two, having your dream crushed by your hero was not exactly high on things Midoriya wanted to hear. It was only after he recklessly ran to help a friend from a Villain when no one else came to help that All Might took notice of him and told him the words that he wanted to hear the most.

"Young man, you too can become a Hero." After that day, Midoriya would inherit his mentor's power, One for All, a stockpiling quirk that grew stronger with each passing user with him being the ninth. Since receiving his power, he got accepted into the most prestigious hero school in Japan, learned to use his quirk, learned how to use his quirk without shattering his bones by spreading its power through his body with him calling it Full Cowling, and learning to increase the power outage of One for All. As he currently stood, 15% was the range he was comfortable enough to use with 20% being the furthest he can go before feeling his bones creak under the pressure with anything beyond shattering his bones.

That led to this moment. What was originally an internship began to grow into something more as he along with other Heroes had done a raid on the Shie Hassaikai compound, a branch of Yakuza that they caught by surprise, though that was not to say they did not go down without a fight. It all happened fast, they were either being split up by the Yakuza or having their paths blocked from progressing to stop all the members along with rescuing one particular person. Midoriya recalled trying to catch up with Mirio Togata, his senior, as he went on ahead to rescue the little girl that was used for experimentations on bullets that could erase Quirks. He got shot and subsequently got his Quirk erased and Sir Nighteye was...

*Thud*

Midoriya collapsed on the ground under him as he felt the effects of his fight with the leader of the Shie Hassaikai and the one that needed to be stopped, Kai Chisaki, or as he was more commonly known as Overhaul. The greenette remained on the ground exhausted from his fight as he was able to finally put a stop to Overhaul, though not without some help.

"Eri..." Izuku said weakly as he looked to his left at the dirty platinum-haired little girl that he and the rest of the Heroes did everything to save from the clutches of Overhaul.

Midoriya saw the little girl breathing heavily on top of him and her small hands grabbed onto the back of his costume and Mirio-Senpai's cape as he felt her shaking with the tight grip she had on him. She was tired, he knew as proof of her efforts in helping him lend her strength to defeat Overhaul but also the emotional weight that she must have carried from the start of the raid.

"Eri... it's ok, it's over now. You're safe." Izuku told her softly as he put a hand over her head in a caring manner to calm her down. Thankfully after a few minutes, the platinum-haired girl was able to calm down from her shaking which while still there, she wasn't shaking as violently. However, something that the greenette notice was the heavy breathing coming from her as he saw her looking paler.

'Her quirk must have taken so much out of her. I need to get her help.' Izuku thought as he tried to push himself off the ground.

"Anyone! Is there any paramedics... here?" The greenette halted his yell as he looked up from where he was and took notice of something. He was no longer on the broken, neighborhood streets where he was fighting alongside Eri. Instead, all he saw in front of him was endless trees, branches, and roots sticking out from the ground as the sound of crickets and other wildlife filled the empty air.

The green-haired young man was confused, to say the least, he knew he was on the streets, he was certain that he or Eri weren't just teleported into a forest area by one of the Yakuza, and he was certain that it was still daytime as currently where he was, the sun was beginning to set as a golden glow covered the sky.

"What?... Where... are we?" Izuku questioned himself as the heavy breathing of the little girl in his back was becoming more ragged by the second.

'Figure this out later, right now *Grunt* I need to get Eri help.' The greenette thought as he picked himself up with Eri on his back. Izuku felt exhausted but had no injuries thanks to Eri. The greenette turned in all directions for some sort of sign or person but all he ever saw was the ever-present greenery of the forest.

"Hello? Anyone there?! We need help!" Izuku said out loud once more as he never got a response. He couldn't waste any more time, he had to get Eri help, figure out where exactly they are, and what happened at the Shie Hassaikai compound. He reached towards one of his pouches and fished out his phone and turned it on. How it managed to survive his battle with Overhaul and him going 100% percent with One for All, he had no idea but that was not important at the moment, he needed to see where he was and the closest hospital to them. He first saw the time which confused him at first glance because despite it being dusk, the clock in his phone said 9:15 A.M so either time was delayed or his phone did suffer some damage from his fight. There he noticed that there was no signal near them judging by the 'No Signal' in the top corner of his phone which meant that he couldn't use something like the map feature to tell him where they were which meant calling for any of the Heroes or his friends was out of the question which left him with calling the Emergency Number which should be able to get a response from someone.

Thus he called and nearly froze solid as he was instantly cut from his call as he just got a beep that signaled the end of the call. Not even a single ring was made, this meant two things for the greenette, either his phone was messed up or...

'We're literally nowhere near civilization!' Izuku thought to himself at the thought. He had so many questions in his mind that he wanted answers for but that was pushed aside as he heard the ragged breathing of Eri in his back. He was worried about their predicament but right now, he needed to find some help for the little girl in his back and he wasn't making much progress by just standing. He put his phone in his pouch once more and adjusted Mirio's cape around him to secure Eri.

"Ok Eri, hang on for a little bit longer. Rest until I find us some help." Midoriya said as he prepared to move forward as he activated One for All: Full Cowling at 8% percent and made his way through the heavily vegetated forest.

He spent probably fifteen to twenty minutes going through the forest, he didn't see anyone else or even any animals aside from the noise made by the insects. He didn't know where he was going or how deep the forest was but he needed to keep going to get Eri the help she needed. It was when he landed on an open space of grass surrounded by trees that he heard rustling in a pair of bushes.

'Did we find someone?' Izuku thought to himself as he looked in the direction of the rustling. It could very well be just an animal but he had to make sure otherwise he doesn't know when he would encounter any other living form.

"Hello? Can you help us? We're lost and need help, she has a fever." Midoriya said keeping Eri's name hidden as he did not want to get a nasty surprise if this whole situation was made by the Yakuza to get Eri back. He waited for a few moments before the rustling stopped which got the greenette to look confused until he began to feel a murderous aura from the bushes, which Eri also felt as the little girl's grip tighten on him as he looked at her and saw the same expression that she had when he first met her and Overhaul.

"It's Ok Eri, don't worry. Nothing will happen to you, I promise." Izuku said as he activated One for All.

"Whoever is there, show yourselves!" Midoriya yelled since while he preferred to avoid a fight, especially with Eri, he will fight if push comes to shove.

The rustling continued as Izuku saw what was the cause of the noise and out of the bush came what at best he could describe was a literal demon-dog as they had brown and black hide, razor-sharp fangs, spikes coming out from their back, a single spike coming out of their snout, the side of their ribs having a red glow, and glowing red eyes that made it stand out all the more in the shadow. It caught the greenette by surprise at the creature he was seeing as he had never seen anything like it but that curiosity quickly died as the killing intent that the creature was radiating was reaching the two lost wanderers. Midoriya saw as the creature was observing the two with the greenette shifted his footing ever slightly.

"Eri, I need you to keep your head down and hold on tightly, understand?" Midoriya said as he kept his gaze on the creature as he felt the head of the platinum-haired girl nod behind his back. Then as if on cue, the dog creature charged at Midoriya who waited until it got close.

'I rather not hurt animals but I have to protect Eri!' The greenette thought to himself as he delivered a strong roundhouse kick to the creature with 15% of One for All which managed to launch it towards a tree as he saw the demonic dog crash through the tree trunk and fall to the ground. After repositioning himself, he took a knee and a breather as despite being an attack he always did, he underestimated how much he was running off fumes. He looked at Eri who had her head against his shoulder as he now needed to get out of the forest as quick as possible and find help before other creatures like that thing appear.

Then almost as if luck would have it, he began to hear growls from his left, then to his right, and then slowly, little by little, he began to see more of those things making their way out of the bushes as he saw that both he and Eri were surrounded. If one of those creatures was enough to send a shiver down his spine on the amount of killer intent they had towards them, this was nearly overwhelming.

'There's so many of them...' Midoriya thought to himself as he began to feel Eri tense on his back as despite keeping her head against his shoulder he could feel her shaking. He tightens his fists as he picked himself up, panting slightly as he knew he couldn't stop now as the words of his mentor rang in his mind.

"A hero can always break out of a tough spot!" Midoriya recalled from U.S.J as he hatched an idea that could get the two out of the situation.

"Deku... Please don't get hurt..." Midoriya heard as he turned to Eri and smiled at her before looking back to the pack of demonic-dog's as he began to use Full Cowling, the red veins showing themselves as they spread through his body as he focused more power towards his right hand's index finger.

"Don't worry. Everything is fine now." Izuku said.

"W-why?" Eri said scared as Midoriya looked towards the creatures with a smile and determination.

"Because I am here!" He said as the pack charged towards him as his fingers began to glow with red veins.

In another location

Some distance away there stood an estate that was impressive in size as it was in design. There was a massive garden with a concrete path down in the center with several other paths around it leading to other just as beautiful areas in the front of the large estate. Then the main figure of the estate was the large mansion that was four stories high and curved in on the sides with four watchtowers being points where the building slightly turned and a fifth one being at the center. With it being dusk, the home was beginning to illuminate with the lights from inside as light was showing through the windows. There were people inside the giant home wearing similar uniforms to one another, maids and butlers finishing on any chore that was left.

However, the focus is on three girls that stood in front of the mansion. One of them was a girl taller than the other two with long blonde hair, green-emerald-like eyes, and sharp teeth as she had a worried look on her face. The other two girls are twins, similar in appearance with some minor differences, one had pink hair whose bang showed their right eye and had a light purple ribbon on the right side of their head, sharing the same worried look as the blonde-haired maid right beside her. The other girl had blue hair whose bang showed their left eye and had a pink ribbon over her left side, and at the moment was holding onto hedge cutter as she walked towards the two with a neutral expression on her face.

"The hedges are all complete Frederica." The blue-haired twin said as she gave a small bow. The blonde-haired maid now known as Frederica looked to the side towards the pink-haired twin with a concerned tone.

"Ram, she overdid it again didn't she?" The blonde maid asked the pink-haired twin known as Ram as she had her hands together in front of her.

'Rem, I though I ask you not to overdo it.' The pink-haired girl thought to herself as she saw her younger twin go overboard with the chore of trimming the hedges to perfection.

"Regardless, Rem you did a good job."

"My apologies Frederica but it's nothing to what sister can do." The blue-haired twin said which only deepened the worries of the blonde maid. Frederica put a hand to her hip as she looked at the blue-haired twin known as Rem.

"I don't understand, why do you try so hard?" She asked as the blue-haired twin remained silent.

"Should we move on to checking security?" Frederica was snapped out of her thoughts by Ram as she gave a nod.

"Yes, with most of the chores having been completed all that is left is to check is the perimeters around the forest along with both outside and inside the mansion. Hopefully it shouldn't be trouble, the sooner we beginner the-"

*Blast*

All three maids heard a loud burst come from one direction as they all turn their heads to the left side of the mansion as they saw several birds flying away with the trees at the edge of the forest and the garden shake violently.

"What was th-"

*Whoosh*

Ram couldn't finish as the trio of maids felt a gust of wind that picked up the dirt and sent it traveling their way. They were able to hold their ground and thankfully none of them were injured nor the mansion was damaged but they were put on high alert after that.

"Are we being attacked?!" Rem asked as she looked in the direction where the wind attack came from.

"I can't say. It didn't seem like it was specifically aimed at the mansion judging by the force of that gust, regardless. Ram!" Frederica said getting the attention of the pink-haired twin.

"Use your clairvoyance and see what is happening in the forest." The blonde maid asked as Ram gave a nod before closing her eyes and concentrating. An ability that was passed on by generation that allowed Ram to sync with those around and see what they see, it helps when checking for security. The forest in question surrounded the mansion was known as Kremaldy Forest, one that had creatures from small harmless ones to the more dangerous Mabeasts which were rare but still populated the area if one were not careful, thankfully there was a barrier in place that ensure the creatures didn't get within the perimeter of their Master Roswaal's home. As she focused on her surroundings, she followed the view from one of the birds around the forests before switching to several views of bugs and other smaller creatures.

However, in one of her viewpoints, she might have caught a glimpse of who may have caused the attack. All she saw was a bolt of lightning ricocheting off the environment with several Mabeasts running after it at full speed.

"Interesting."

"Did you see who it was sister?" Rem asked as she saw her twin open her eyes and look towards the two maids.

"It seems that whoever caused that gust of wind also caught the attention of the Mabeast. They are currently being pursued by them." Ram said.

"Did you see what they look like?" Frederica asked as the pinkett shook her head.

"No, the individual, whoever they may be, were moving fast, incredibly fast, they resembled lightning with the way they looked and moved. However, they don't appear to be moving towards the mansion at the moment. From the direction they were going, they may be running towards the cliffside that's a fair distance from here." The pinkeye said pointing towards where she was saying.

"Thank you Ram. You and Rem inform the others to stay in lockdown until this get sorted out. They may not be coming but we can't be too careless." Frederica said as she moved towards the direction where the pinkett pointed.

"You're going after our trespasser?" Rem asked the blonde maid.

"Like you said, the trespasser created quite a commotion with that act. They probably didn't intend on launching it towards us but regardless, if someone is capable of creating a gust that strong, It is not something we can just let it slide unaccounted." Frederica said.

"Frederica, wouldn't it wise if one of us accompanied you?" Rem asked the blonde maid.

"Rem is correct. We do not know what the true intentions of this person may be. For what we know they could be causing a distraction to lure one of us out." Ram said which got Frederica to stop and think for a moment before all three heard a loud snap coming from the forest as they saw a tree be launched into the sky which also carried some Mabeast with it.

"Very well. However, one of you should remain here just in case this turns out to be an ambush."

"Sister can go along. I'll probably drag you down if I come along." Rem said as the two maids looked at the blue-haired twin and Frederica was about to say something until she was interrupted.

"Very well. Rem, make sure that everything is in order when we come back." The pink twin said as it got a small smile from Rem as she gave a nod as Ram turned back to the blond maid.

"Shall we continue?" She asked as Frederica nodded as she looked back towards the forest, wondering what kind of individual could be capable of such strength.

Kremaldy Forest

'Those things are relentless!' Midoriya thought as he continued running through the forest, using each root from the ground as a platform to launch himself forward as he heard the barks of those things. He felt another pulse of pain in his broken right index finger as a result of the plan he used to evade the earlier ambush from those creatures before making a run for it. He didn't know where he was running to or even if the direction he was taking may get him closer to civilization, he just ran, hopefully losing whatever those things were, and for a bit, he thought he lost them.

However, it was quickly dashed as he saw them gaining on him and pushing him to use O.F.A at 15%. Thankfully he outpaces them but nearly got pounced on by another pack that was waiting ahead of him. He had kicked an entire tree off the ground towards those things to create more distance which as he checked constantly behind him, appeared to have worked. In his adrenaline-fuel run, he heard the heavy breathing of the little platinum-haired girl on his back as he took notice that her fever was getting worse as worry continued to grow inside him. He then saw a light within the ever-present greenery which Izuku saw as the end of the forest. Breathing a small sigh of relief he altered his path towards that light as he turned towards Eri as they grew closer to the exit.

"Eri, please hang on just a bit longer. We're almost out and once we do we can find help and get you bette- whoa, WHOAAA!" Midoriya yelled as he exited the forest area only to be hit with the light of the sunset and a chance in the environment. The ground rather than being grass was now a rocky terrain which wasn't an issue. The main problem was that the path he took, ended in a cliff, one he was dangerously approaching with not much in slowing him down.

Midoriya tried halting his momentum by planting his feet into the ground which managed to pick up dirt and debris as it managed to slow him down but it wasn't enough as he ran out of a path and both he and Eri fell. However, at the last moment, he reached out and grabbed onto the edge of the cliff as he halted the momentum of the two.

'*Gah!*' Izuku felt a sharp pain shoot through his arm as his broken finger did not appreciate the current situation it was in. He looked up to see that he barely managed to grab onto it by sheer luck. By instinct, he looked down which nearly caused his blood to run cold as he saw various sharp stones waiting for him at the bottom which if he had to choose between the pain he was feeling and what could have been, he was glad to go with the former. He looks to his side to see the platinum-haired girl continually hanging on to him for dear life.

"It's ok Eri. I know it looks scary but I got this." Midoriya said trying to reassure her as he grabbed the ledge with his other arm and began to pull himself upwards with a bit of O.F.A which he nearly did until.

*Break*

"Ah!" Izuku lost his grip for a moment as part of the hold he was using broke. As if the situation could get any worse, he began to feel the cape around him loosen as well, and almost as soon as he noticed it, the cape loosened itself from around him along with feeling Eri's grip let go of his costume.

"ERI!" Midoriya yelled as he quickly grabbed onto the hand of the little girl. He looked down to see her ruby-red eyes look at him.

"Eri, are you ok?" He asked as he looked at her and noticed that she was holding onto the cape still. He remembers she did something similar back with Overhaul, it's what gave her the strength to let go of the Yakuza leader.

'Mirio... thank you, even here you are supporting both of us. I hope he's doing ok and Sir Night-' Midoriya shook his head as he didn't want to think negatively now.

"I'm ok Deku." The greenette heard Eri said as he looked up to the ledge, he could lift her so that she can be out of danger's way but with those things roaming about, he doesn't feel as though it would be the best plan, especially with Eri's fever.

"Eri, I'm going to pull you up towards me. Ok?" Midoriya said as he saw the platinum-haired girl give a nod as he pulled his arm up towards himself. He got her up as the horned girl grabbed onto the front of his costume as he had a secured hold on her.

"Sorry Eri. That must've been scary, huh." Midoriya said to the platinum-haired little girl as he looked back up to the ledge as a drop of sweat rolled down his head as he definitely shouldn't rely on O.F.A for this situation as any more force and he would probably break the only thing between them and the spikes below.

"Ok. I need you to hold on to me and not let go no matter what." He said as he prepared to lift the two of them.

"Promise?"

"Huh?"

"Promise... that you won't let go of me?" She said in a scared tone as Izuku gave her a small smile.

"I promise, I won't ever let go." Midoriya said as he tightens his grip on the ledge as he prepared to lift with everything he got and then-

*Break*

It seemed as though fate was not on his side as the ledge couldn't support the weight of the two as it crumbled under his grip. The greenette desperately tried to grab onto possibly some sort of grip but grasped nothing but air as he began to fall with Eri.

*Clasp*

That was until he stopped, Izuku was confused as to why as he looked down and saw that he still hasn't touched the ground.

"Eri!" Midoriya thought as he turned to see the little horned girl have head tucked against the front of his costume with the red cape. He released a breath he didn't know he was holding at knowing she hasn't let go.

"So you're the one that's been causing all this commotion." Midoriya heard above him in a monotone voice which caught his attention as he looked upwards only for the rays of the sunset to hit him, making the figure hard to see.

"W-what?" Midoriya said out loud as he heard a scuff from the person currently holding onto them.

"Do you understand what I am saying?" The voice asked once more though he could hear the annoyance in their tone for his lack of a response.

"Y-yeah I understand." He responded.

"Ok, so atleast you know how to speak." The voice said as Izuku took notice that despite the monotone voice, it sounded feminine so it was a girl he was talking to which would have set him in an embarrassing state but considering he was hanging over his death with the little girl he and others saved, now wasn't the best of times to get embarrassed.

"Are you going to help pull us up, miss?..." Midoriya questioned.

"I'll give you both those luxuries after you answer some questions."

"Is this really the best situation to be asking these kinds of things?!" The greenette asked at the absurdity.

"You're not exactly in the best positions to debate this." Their holder said.

"Deku... is everything ok?" The two people heard a third voice in the little girl in Midoriya's arm as he shifted his attention to her.

"It's ok Eri, don't worry. They're here to help us." Midoriya said in reassurance to her.

"If I were to answer these questions, will you raise us up?" The greenette asked.

"Depending in what you say will determine my decision. However, there's nothing keeping me from dropping you." The girl said.

"So we can answer and you can still drop us?!" Midoriya asked in a flabbergasted tone which he heard a scuff from.

"Well if it doesn't sound good to you I could always just let-"

"Wait, wait, wait! Alright, I'll answer." Izuku answered rapidly not only for Eri's safety but also because something inside told him that she would drop them if he didn't agree.

"At the very least you seem to show some capacity to think. Very well, now answer me this, why were you in the forest? What exactly were you trying to do that caused so much commotion? Where you the one that cause that gust of wind and tree that flew in the sky?" She asked.

"I'm kinda surprised you didn't ask who we are first?" Midoriya asked.

"Already heard it from the little one, Deku." The girl said which somehow felt like she was saying it to make fun of him as he released an internal sigh.

'Remember what Uraraka said. You can do it.' Izuku thought as he got his arm jerked once drawing his attention.

"Hey, I said you'll answer my questions, correct?"

"R-Right, sorry. I-I don't know why we were in the forest. All I remember was we were in the street with some of the Heroes and the next I know, we were here. As for the commotion, I was trying to find a hospital so that we could help Eri. She has a fever and in searching we strumbled upon those demon dogs and had to use my quirk to distract them which is where the gust of wind and tree came from." Midoriya finished answering her questions as he waited for a response.

"Your explanation is all over place and I find it hard to find truth in it."

"L-look I know some of its confusing but that is what happened. Me and Eri were fighting against a Villain and next thing we know we were brought to this forest." Midoriya said calmly in trying to reason with the girl.

"You're using terms like Villains and Heroes as if you were in a kids story. Did you and some group of degenerates decide to play Heroes and Villain and made this little girl the person to be rescued? For goodness sake's she looks like she wasn't cared for." She asked with seriousness as Izuku prepared to respond until her words began to sink in as he tried looking at her.

"Wait, what do you mean? You know the Heroes that are around and seen them stop Villains who use their Quirks like making fire or growing huge illegally and-"

"Look I don't know what exactly you are imagining in the vegetable head of yours but clearly you don't appear to have it on correctly because all it seems like some idiot imagine his fantasy of being a 'Hero' with 'Villains' and their quirky personalities being a power." the girl said which caused Midoriya to halt his thinking as he heard her.

'Wait, does she not know what Quirks are? She thinks that Villains and Heroes are just a story told to kids...' Midoriya looked back up with a question in his head.

"Wait, do you know what Quirks are?"

"Didn't I say I was the one to ask questions?"

"Please, if you can answer them then I think it can help clarify what may be happening?!" Izuku said with worry as he heard a sigh come from the girl.

"Ok, I'll answer. When you were talking about 'Quirks', aren't those character traits that we have?" She asked.

"Have you heard of All Might, Endeaver, Hawks, Mirko, any one of them, or U.A?!" He asked.

"Are they your friends in this game you're playing?" She asked as Midoriya felt a cold sweat running down his back as he asked one last question.

"What year is it?"

"398"

"A.D or B.C?"

"What exactly are those?" She said with a confused look which upon hearing, the greenette got a look of horror on his face. Why was this girl telling him that they were 2000 years earlier than the current year or why hasn't she heard of the Heroes or even Quirks. He tried to find some reason in his mind as to make sense of this situation, maybe he was in a very remote area where everything he knew was different, he tried to find some answer for the girls' responses and not wanting to think of the extreme and think that he and Eri were either taken through time or in another world all entirely. He remained thinking for a few moments as he looked down to the ground below.

"What?... What exactly is going on?... Where are we?..." Midoriya muttered to himself.

"Hey, what is it that you're talking to yourself about?" He heard the girl above him say once more as he tightens his hold on Eri and the girl above as he looked at her with a serious expression.

"Look, I know this whole situation is strange and I very much sound like I'm crazy but I can explain all of this if you pull me up."

"Do you really take me for a fo-"

"No, I don't. The fact that you're taking precautions means you're taking this serious but right now I am asking that you trust me and I'll be able to explain this along with proof to support what I'm saying." Midoriya said as silence was all that occupied them.

"Ram, please pull them up." The trio of people heard a fourth voice call in a more exhausted tone which the greenette could identify as another girl. The girl who is called 'Ram' above him turns her head towards the voice as she still held Midoriya.

"Frederica do you-"

"I know you have concerns, as do I. However, I know what you are thinking and you know that aside from the gust of wind he hasn't shown hostility or any sign of him being a threat. If what he says is to be believed then we can listen to him once we return." The second female voice now called 'Frederica' said.

"Are you certain about this?"

"I'll take responsibility for this decision Ram. Please help them up." Frederica said as Midoriya began to feel both himself and Eri be pulled up with relative ease as he finally felt solid ground under him as a sense of relief washed over him at not having to be dangled over both his and Eri's life any longer. He felt Ram let go of his hand as he instinctively wrapped it around Eri who he was thankful to be out of danger now.

"Did they say what they're names were?" He heard the blonde maid say.

"I overheard the two. The little girl is called Eri and the one in green is called Deku." He heard the Pinkett say as the blonde maid looked at the two strangers in front of her as she saw how the one named Deku was holding onto Eri in a protective embrace, like how a parent would protect their child. She got a good idea of the kind of person Deku was and Ram probably did as well as she grabbed the sides of her dress and gave a small bow.

"Nice to meet you Eri, Deku. I'm Frederica Baumann. A maid under the service of Roswaal L. Mathers." She said as she did when introducing those who visited. She looked towards Ram who had her arms crossed, hearing an 'ugh!' before she did the same motion as her senior.

"Nice to meet you both Eri, Deku. I'm Ram. A maid under the service of Roswaal L. Mathers." The Pinkett said as the two looked at the greenette who wasn't paying attention.

"Are you going to leave two ladies standing without saying anything, Deku?" Ram said in annoyance as the two heard the first thing since getting him off the ledge.

"Thank you. Ms. Baumann, Ms. Ram. Both of you thank you so-." The greenette said as he looked up at the two people that he was thankful for. One had blonde long hair, emerald eyes that appeared to be a lighter shade than his, and their arms appear like that of claws with blonde fur as he took notice of her more tired but relieved look. Then he took notice of the one that had him hanging just a few moments had short pink hair with bangs that covered almost both eyes but were parted over her right eye to reveal her pink-colored eyes, along with having an annoyed look on her face. A detail he took notice about the two was the maid outfits that they were wearing which did cause him to blush a bit as he didn't expect to ever see anyone in a maid outfit, especially since they were more revealing than expected, in person. The only time he almost did was when he was dragged by Kaminari and Mineta to a maid cafe but that's a story for a different time.

"Ha, seems like our beauty captivated him Frederica." Midoriya heard in a smug tone come from Ram as he saw a calm smile from Frederica.

"As flattering as that may be, we wasted enough time. It would be best if we return back to the mansion so that we can get things sorted out." Frederica said.

"What about those things that are in the forest?" The greenette said as the blonde maid gave a wide smile as Midoriya saw the row of sharp teeth that reminded him very similar to those of a certain redhead.

"They were plentiful but I managed to take care of them, they shouldn't be an issue to us for the time being." She said as the group heard the growls appearing from the forest behind them as tension rose among them all.

"Do those things ever stop!" Midoriya said out loud as he secured Eri back onto his back with Lemillions cape.

"Frederica, I thought you took care of the Mabeasts?" Ram said.

"I believed I did. Guess there was more that didn't show themselves until now." The blonde maid said as Midoriya picked himself up from the ground.

"Mabeasts? Is that what those things are called?" The greenette questioned as the two looked at him in slight confusion.

"How do you not know what a Mabeast is?" He heard the pink maid say.

"It's my first time seeing one. We don't have whatever those things are where I'm from." Midoriya said.

"Let's save the idle talk for when we get out of this. Ram, I'll clear a path ahead for us." Frederica said.

"I'll help." The greenette said.

"No you won't." He heard Ram tell him.

"I can fight them."

"Yes but right now you have a little one that should be your priority." Midoriya was going to retort but as he saw Eri in his back he had to agree, he had to keep her safe.

"Good. We're in an agreement then. Now follow closely." Frederica said as she charged through some of the Mabeasts which he was going to voice his concern until he saw her rip and tear through the creatures with ease as he saw blood from the Mabeast flying off as the blonde maid made her way through the forest as the greenette could only stare.

'She's really strong.' Midoriya thought.

"Hey don't just stand there like an idiot. Follow Frederica and that should lead us back to Roswaal's home."

"What about you?"

"I'll follow behind to ensure that you don't decide to run off on us. Along with making sure you and the girl don't become a Mabeasts dinner." Ram said he saw Mabeast charge at the pinkett before it was sliced in half with the two sides landing right next to Izuku.

'Holy crap!' He thought to himself as he felt Eri bury her head on his shoulder.

"I told you to not just stand there, go!" Ram yelled as Midoriya who was brought out of his stupor, gave a nod as she saw him glow with red veins over his body before green sparks started coming off his body before zooming past the pack of Mabeasts which surprised the Pinkett at the speed.

'So that's how he created that look of a lightning?' She thought before refocusing her attention on the Mabeasts as she raised a hand towards the creatures.

"FURA!"

Back with Midoriya, he heard the pinkett yell as he kept following the trail of Mabeasts that littered the ground as he figures if he follows it then he would eventually reach wherever it was they were going. He heard Ram yell with the sound of Mabeasts close behind.

Ram was keeping her end in safeguarding the greenette and platinum-haired little girl by slicing through any Mabeast that came across her. She was able to keep pace early on but there were more Mabeasts than anticipated and she had to continually use more mana to blast them which proved to be problematic as she launched one more strike before feeling a wave of exhaustion hit her entire body like a rock as she fell onto her knees before collapsing onto her side with a thud.

She tried looking up only to see several Mabeast charging towards her and getting ready to maul her. In a sense, she did her duty as a maid and ensured that Deku and Eri weren't killed but felt sadness slowly take hold of her as she wasn't going to be able to see her sister, to be there for her after everything that they have gone through together or see Master Roswaal who she came to have appreciated for everything he's done for the two. To the point, she could say that what she felt him was lo-

"SMMAAASSH!" She heard a yell coming from out of her field of vision as she saw the Mabeast in front of her be pushed aside by another Mabeast that crashed through them with great force. Before she could think much of it, she felt herself be picked up and carried as she quickly found herself looking up at the trees around her moving at a fast pace.

'What... what happened?'

"Hey, are you ok?" She heard, looking up to see the same green-haired young man carrying her with the green lightning dancing over him.

"Why did you come back... I told you to follow Frederica you fool! Didn't you listen!" The pinkett yelled though it wasn't loud as she saw a serious look on the guy's face.

"I'm sorry to be a fool but I had to do something." The greenette said with conviction as he continued following the path of dead Mabeast's as the pinkett looked at him in curiosity.

"Why, what is it that you're trying to get?" She asked.

"Nothing. I couldn't stand by and watch you die." He said as he continued running through the forest with Eri in his back and the pink maid in his arms as she looked at him with thought, mostly with curiosity at his response and reason for doing so.

'Who exactly are you Deku?' She thought to herself.

"Hey! I think I see the end. That went smoother than expe-" Midoriya couldn't finish as growls of Mabeasts were heard from their side, almost as if they popped into existence along with another group waiting for them upfront.

"How many are there?" Ram said as Frederica should have taken care of the Mabeasts on her way as she saw that there were many of the creatures dead on the ground but there seems to be even more appearing.

'What did I do to piss off these things?!' Midoriya thought as one of the Mabeasts jumped towards the pinkett in his arms and without much thinking he raised his right arm, bringing Ram closer to him but also blocking the Mabeasts attack as it bit into the arm of Midoriya, causing the greenette to stop his movement. Izuku grit his teeth through the pain as he reeled his head back before delivering a strong headbutt to the Mabeast which he saw was enough to cave in the skull of the creature along with causing some of its teeth to break off as it let go of him but not without some fragments having embedded themselves into his arm.

He couldn't focus much on the pain as he readjusted his grip on the pinkett just in time to dodge some of the Mabeasts that tried to take a bite out of the trio. He tried to find some opening but wherever he turned, Mabeasts were all he saw as he dodged left and right, the edge of the forest was right in front of them with the demon-like creatures being the only thing between them. As he tried to come with a plan, he looked up to the trees as an idea popped.

"Eri, tuck in your head." Izuku said as the horned girl put her head against his shoulder as curiosity peaked the pinkett.

"What are you planning exactly?" She said as Midoriya continued dodging.

"I have an idea but I'll need you to hold on tightly." The greenette said.

"That didn't answer my question on what you're planning or why you need me to hold on to you?"

"It's because this plan you could say is really reckless and stupid." Midoriya said as he planted both feet into the ground as he concentrated on increasing the power of O.F.A specifically to his legs.

"Hold on. Explain what you're planning to doooooo!" Ram said as Izuku charged 25% of O.F.A into his legs and jumped with all he could, making the ground under him break as he launched himself and the others off the ground. The greenette could feel his legs crack from the force of the jump but it got all three of them away from the Mabeasts as they shot through the tree branches and into the sky above. As the three went up into the sky, Izuku managed to get a view of where exactly they were, and honestly, it was a sight. Forest all around them that was as green as his hair, a small village that was a fair distance away, and the main attraction that was right in front of them being a large mansion with a garden that matched its size and everything look luxurious in appearance and size.

'Reminds me a lot of Yaoyorozu's home but bigger.' Midoriya thought as he took a look down towards the edge of the forest a fair distance away and saw Frederica looking at them with worry and covered with blood and next to her was a girl that looked almost exactly like Ram but with blue hair instead of pink.

"Deku?" The greenette heard from the pinkett in his arms which got him to look down as he finally took notice of her. Despite how she talks to him, when looking at her in his arms, he saw how her pink hair swayed in the wind on how her red eyes shone with the sunset behind them. He felt mesmerized as her red eyes looked at his green ones. It got him to gain a faint blush as he looked at her nervously.

"Y-yeah, what is it?"

"Since you brought us this high off the ground, I assume you know how to bring us down safely, correct?" She said in a monotone voice as his blush instantly went away as he took in the gravity of their situation as the pink maid saw his sudden change in expression.

"Every positive thing I said about you I take back, you are an idiot." Ram said in a monotone voice as the trio began to fall. As the pinkett saw the ground quickly approaching, she felt how the greenette was holding onto her more tightly as they descended.

"Hey! What are you grabbing onto?!" She said in an annoyed tone as she saw the green electricity around the greenette intensify brightly as they continued to descend onto the ground. She was about to use El Fura seeing as how she didn't hear Deku make any sort of plan.

"Please trust Deku miss." She heard faintly from the little girl next to her ear. She was about to ignore her request but she saw how the little horned girl was holding tightly onto Deku. She then shifted her gaze towards her holder as he carried the same look of determination that he was carrying since he stopped those Mabeast from earlier. Whether it was Eri's words or the determination she saw from him, she decided to put some trust in him, just enough to ensure that they live.

*Crack*

The trio hit the ground hard as dirt and grass were uprooted from the landing but the greenette endured as he didn't stumble over as Eri gripped onto Deku's back and Ram was being held tightly by the greenette as they skid to a halt on the now ruin lawn. The trio remained still for a moment as Ram saw that they were indeed now safely on the ground without having crashed and become splatter marks. However, the pink maid began to take notice of the shaky stance from Deku as she looked up at him and saw that despite still holding onto that determined look in his face, he appeared to be in incredible pain and on the verge of passing out but continued to look at the forest from which they came.

"Sister!" Ram heard as she would feel herself be ripped out of her thoughts and leave the greenettes arms before falling into another pair of arms.

"What happened? Why were you carried by this stranger?" She heard Rem in a worried tone.

"I would like to know as well. I though you three were following behind me?" Frederica said as she looked over the pinketts condition, she had some dirt on her uniform but aside from that, she didn't appear in any life-threatening state.

"Sorry to worry both of you. I went through my mana faster than I thought." She said looking down as she hated how little she could do with the limited amount of reserves she had daily.

"I see, so he went back and rescued you from the Mabeasts?" The blonde maid asks.

"..." Ram didn't respond but the two maids figure that to be the case as Frederica turned towards the duo that led them to this situation as she gave a slight bow.

"My apologies in not having kept an eye on you and my junior but know I'm thankful for you helping-"

"Those things..." The maids heard a ragged voice from the greenette as he was shaking and slightly wobble in place as he took a step to which they saw blood sickeningly jut out from both his legs and color the ground with the crimson substance.

"They won't... they aren't going to..."

"Rest assured that they won't. There's a barrier that won't allow them to follow. You two are safe here." Frederica said in worry as she saw him become less tense as he turned to face the three maids as they saw the condition both he and the little girl in his back were in. The greenette appeared to have an injured finger on his right hand that was a dark purple with blood running off it. A bleeding bite mark that had fragments on teeth on his right arm along with his legs blood slowly bleeding through the material. As for the little horned girl, she had a red flush on her face as heavy ragged breathing was heard from her. They saw the greenette muster up the strength to make a smile as the green lightning that surrounded him died out.

"That's good to..." Izuku didn't finish as he stumbled forward hitting the ground with his knees first before falling onto the ground. Frederica was the first to react as she went towards the downed greenette as she saw the amount of blood he was losing.

"This is not good. Rem, help!" Frederica called the blue maid over as they saw the platinum-haired little girl nudging the back of the greenette.

"Deku... please wake up... please wake up... please don't leave me... please... Deku..." Eri cried for a response from the greenette who saved her but nothing came from him no matter how much she tried.

That's it. Thank you for reading and while I haven't started the second chapter, I already have an idea and rough draft of what I want to do with it. Until next time this has been FightingGamePlayer11, signing out.
