I am back and better than ever. Now some of you may be wondering where have I been for the past nearly two months, well it's a long story but the bullet points are that I was binge-watching the entire MCU along with other marvel shows, I decided to catch up with the entirety of Arifureta for when the final volume releases, decided to do a shiny hunt on several pokemon along with playing the Sinnoh remakes with a friend, working out to lose weight, actually hanging out with a friend for the first time in nearly two years (It was primarily because we had different majors and the pandemic didn't help either), and lastly preparing for graduation. Now there's also the fact I was just procrastinating as several times I would write, rewrite, and at one point scrap the entire chapter entirely and start over due to not feeling it was good enough so I kept going back and forth. Not just that but the other reason it was taking a while is that this chapter was going to have a lot of things happening since I don't want the story to have too many chapters once we reach Subaru as I don't want to go to like chapter 20 before he arrives. Hence I try to keep it condense aside from the first few chapters. This chapter was going well and then it kept getting longer to the point where I reached the midpoint of where I wanted in the chapter and it was becoming close to 13-14K in words so I decided to ultimately split this in two since I don't want chapters to become extremely long since some may not enjoy that and also since I'm trying to keep them around the 10k-11k word count if I can with few exceptions. So that is why I was gone for nearly two months, I was pretty much either working out, procrastinating, or rewriting the chapter. Since I now have a good path on how to go with the next chapter I shouldn't take too long but hopefully, that won't bite me in the ass when I get around to doing it. Now before continuing, I want to ask you guys if you prefer longer chapters or shorter multiple chapters, it's out of curiosity to see what style you guys prefer. Enough of me rambling time to get to some reviews.

Senor Oogway: Well... in a sense

Peigukiin: You're kinda right, Izuku and Eri are in a lot of ways not suppose to be there, like you said a paradox, now I won't go into what will be once arc 4 occurs but just know that Izuku and Eri's transport brought some issues along the way. Also yes thank you for pointing that out, I first go through with Grammarly for any major mispelling and then I go through it myself for any sentences that don't sound correct or need adjusting but sometimes some words slip through the cracks which I either try to make sure there ain't no errors or kept to a minimum.

Trueopulence: To answer this, well kinda. Subaru didn't grow up in Izuku's world but at the same time it's not an entirely new world either.

ProjectIceman: Oh yes, they're going to get a lot chaotic.

T-B-R:Thank you

EDG1999:Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah this was an idea that jumped in my head one day as an idea but slowly began taking shape until it became what it is right now. As for the relationships, the plan has always been for Izuku and Ram which I will maintain, as for Frederica I did not intend for her to become part of it originally, Frederica kinda got involved the more I expanded the story. Thanks and stay safe too.

NarutoisNumber1Ninja:Glad you like the interaction since like you said, we know how Izuku gets around any girl. As for the voice, I hope this answers your question.

CrazyGammerGuy12:Thank you so much friend. Yeah I try to keep spelling errors to a minimum but sometimes a few of them slip through the cracks which is part of a reason why it also takes a while since it's to make sure I don't miss too many of them and get all of them.

Alphasdragon: Glad you liked it and his meeting with Subaru will be an interesting one I can assure you.

Look2021: Thank you

Anonymous:Glad you liked the chapter, yeah while her plan is initiating her doubts will grow as well and we'll see where that will go. Yeah actually that was something I wanted to incorporate later in the story once Izuku starts helping out that world which thankfully you were able to give me a good way of how to implement it. Also yes due to how Eri's power works, Roswaal would want the information to be as tightly sealed since aside from others possibly wanting to use her power, he has his own agenda that will have to go through Izuku first before anything so yeah ironically the biggest threat to Eri and Izuku have is also their biggest security, though for how long that is up in the air. Also yeah I did not realize how absurdly broken quirks can be if you pluck them into Re Zero like twice which if he were to befriend and get measurements of Reinhard then that will just be something and as for Star and Stripe, that quirk would just be something else. Though actually, funny enough you actually managed to hit the nail on an idea I will use for when I reach the end of this story, I won't reveal what it is, just know that both worlds will become aware of the other.

Anyway, I have rambled long enough and some of you have been waiting for an update in this story as even I have stories I've been waiting to be updated so enough talk, let's get to the story.

The following is a fan-written story. My Hero Academia belong to Horikoshi Kohei and Re: Zero belongs to Tappei Nagatsuki. Please support the official release.

One Week Later

"*Pant*Pant*" Eri panted as she ran down a familiar gray hallway, one that has become a constant reminder of her hopelessness in trying to run away. The small girl didn't know how much time had passed, the various exits that would usually lead to outside the compound were non-existent as each turn she took would lead her to another endless hallway. The platinum-haired little girl kept following the gray halls, hoping that it would lead to an exit before he found her.

"Eriii..." The small girl heard a familiar voice call from behind, stopping her. Hesitantly, she turned towards the endless darkness behind her that appeared to engulf everything around it.

"Did you think that I wouldn't know where you went?" Eri took a hesitant step back as the shadows approached her from all sides as she could only stand still, petrified by his voice.

"That 'Hero' that promised to protect you, he won't be able to do such foolishness. He'll just get hurt because of you. Along with that servant. They will die because of you Eri, is that what you want..." The ruby-eyed girl heard as the images of Deku and Miss Frederica being killed appeared in her mind as she felt her eyes water.

"Don't you think it is easier for you to be the only one that needs to suffer so that others don't..." The voice said as the shadows surrounded the small girl from all directions. Eri put her head down as she shook her head as she remembered what Deku, Lemillion, and the others did to save her. However, all she got was a laugh from him. She dared to raise her head slightly to look at him and she felt the same paralyzing fear grab onto her as she saw Overhaul, plague-mask and all as he continued to laugh at her.

"Hahahah, Eri... don't be selfish in letting others die for you. Come back to me and I'll make sure that no one will have to die because of you." Eri looked down at herself and see that she no longer was wearing the clothes Miss Frederica gave her but rather the same clothes and bandages that were a sign of her imprisonment. A reminder that no matter how much she tries to escape, she'll always be caught and brought back to Overhaul. Eri couldn't take it more as she fell into a bipedal position on the ground, closed her eyes, and covered her ears as if to make everything go away.

Then... nothing...

Complete darkness has enveloped the hallway as the only thing there was Eri and her quiet sobs. The ruby-eyed little girl felt completely cold and alone, falling slowly back to her old way of that thinking that no one will be able to save her.

"No matter who it is, I'll make sure you're safe and happy Eri, pinky promise." The ruby-eyed girl heard the voice of Deku break through the silence. Not only that but the cold sensation she felt started to fade away and instead, it was replaced by warmth. She recognized that warmth, it wasn't from her green-haired caretaker, someone else who was holding her hand as she slept through her night terror.

Eri followed their hand up to them but couldn't tell who they were as they looked like a shadow, just like Overhaul. Though unlike him, Eri felt completely at ease with this person and didn't feel fear, she felt safe. The small girl gave a small squeeze to the hand as she felt it squeeze gently back. The small girl wanted to wake up and see who they were but the more she was being held by them, the more she felt at ease. It allowed the ruby-eyed little girl to slowly drift off into a peaceful sleep as she relaxed and accept the warmth from them. The silhouette's hand began to glow along with the warmth it had and before long, the darkness that had once enveloped her was non-existent.

Eri began to open her eyes little by little as the rays of the sun covered her vision. She slowly got into a sitting position, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as she looked around her room. Nothing was out of the ordinary, there was the desk, two chairs for her and Deku night, and the yellow notepad she had written on. However, that wasn't what the ruby-eyed little girl was interested in, she was trying to see if she could find the person from her dream.

It first happened two nights after they were allowed to live in the mansion, she would have night terrors and would go to her green-haired caretaker who would go to her room and hold her hand while she slept and he slept on the chair. However, on the third night, she saw a hand that wasn't Deku's. She started to panic at first but was quickly replaced by a sense of ease as she felt a warmth that was very similar to Deku's and for the first time since they lived there, Eri slept without issue.

Since then, she tried to see them when it happened but with each attempt, she would fall deeper into sleep. It has happened five times during their first week at the mansion and she has yet to figure out who it was. The platinum-haired little girl looked down at the hand she was held by and clasped it against her as she missed the warmth from that person.

Roswaal Mansion (Ground Floor Hallways)

We see two twin maids who share near-identical appearances walking towards the back of the mansion where they were to find their senior and co-worker.

"Sister, are you ok? You appear as though you haven't been resting well." Rem said as she saw her older twin release a small yawn.

"It's fine Rem. I was just up teaching Eri and Deku how to read and write again." Ram responded.

"It's been about a week, how is their progress going?"

"Eri appears to know how to write and read now. It's as if it's the first time she's ever written or read based on how fast she's learning. As for our Deku, he struggled at first but seems to atleast have a bare minimum understanding of the language to be considered literate." The pinkett commented.

"Do you think he is capable of going for groceries today?"

"And risk the chance he misreads one of the items? No, I would rather not have to make multiple trips down to the village." Ram said as all of the sudden the two felt a sudden shake in the mansion.

"*Sigh* Couldn't they have kept it quiet for once this week?" The pink-haired maid said in annoyance as the two twin maids opened the doors to the back of the mansion and saw as Frederica had thrown Midoriya half across the yard as the greenette stuck the landing before running towards her again.

The morning after Izuku's first day at the mansion, the blonde saw him training on a fighting style that he called 'Shoot Style' where he focused more on kicks to reduce the strain on his arms. After seeing the whiplash of what his power could do to him if he didn't control it, it worried Frederica the number of times Midoriya must've broken himself to where he had to alter his fighting style just to lessen the impact. It was that thought that got her to help the greenette with his training. At first, Izuku said he didn't want it to be an inconvenience but eventually relented at his seniors' insistence.

He learned a few things on that day, the first that his teacher was stern yet gave him plenty of advice for improvement. The second thing he learned was that Frederica was a Demi-Human, more specifically a Beast Human, which helped explain the claws that he saw the blonde have on their first meeting. The third thing he learn was that there was discrimination against Demi-Humans which the greenette couldn't help but reminisce about his time when he was known as Quirkless Deku. It remained in his mind with Frederica often asking if he was alright with him often avoided her questions. Though in hindsight, he probably should have said something as the greenette felt as though Frederica was getting a tad frustrated at his reluctance to talk as she was launching him across the yard more often than usual.

That led to their current situation where he was currently sparring at 8% of Full Cowling as the three maids saw the green sparks jump out of his body as he crouched. They saw as the green lightning began to glow more vibrant over his body as he leaped into the air. He reeled back his right leg before kicking as a gale made its way towards the blonde maid. While Frederica was able to dodge the brunt of the wind pressure, she was still pushed back as dirt was picked up creating a dust cloud. Midoriya landed but felt his body go rigid in using 20% of Full Cowling to do the attack. Then out of the dust cloud, Frederica lunged out and made her way towards the recovering greenette as she threw a punch at him as he prepared himself for the hit, and right before she made contact the blonde stopped.

"You can't let yourself be left open like that Izuku." Midoriya heard the blonde-haired maid say as he saw her serious look soften as she pulled her beast-morphed arm back.

"Right, sorry. I'm still learning to control the power output so that I don't have to worry too much oftherecoilthatIreceivewhenusingmypowerasIneedtouseitrightwhentheattackconnectssoas*OOF!*" Midoriya didn't get to finish as he was punched in the gut and flew a couple of meters away onto his back. The fourth thing he learned while training with his senior was that she never held back her punches. He looked up and saw the blonde standing with a soft smile.

"I never said we stopped." Frederica said before a serious tone came from her.

"And Izuku, you can't keep saying sorry to everyone you're fighting otherwise you could be taken advantage like I did just now. This also goes for when we're outside of battle." The blonde-maid said as she was breathing somewhat ragged at the spare.

"Right *Groan* duly noted." The greenette said picking himself up and preparing to launch himself once more before seeing the blonde look to the side before relaxing.

"Alright, I think we can stop for today."

"*Pant* Is this to get me to drop my guard again?" Midoriya asked catching his breath from the surprise attack. He then saw her motion with her head towards the mansion as he saw both Ram and Rem approaching them.

"Good Morning Ram, Rem."

"Good Morning Frederica, Izuku."

"Good Morning Frederica, Deku." Both twins said as the greenette turned to them and waved a hand as he tried to regain control of his breathing.

"How much of a brute can you get if you can't greet pretty girls like me and Rem without running out of breath?" The pinkett responded as the greenette doubled over to catch his breath.

"Be easy on him Ram. You've seen that he's been giving his efforts these past few days from training and the household chores."

"May I remind you that one of those chores Deku did was him cleaning and fixing the window HE broke the other night." The pink maid said as she looked over to the greenette with an accusatory tone as he scratched his head sheepishly.

"S-sorry about that."

"You can be sorry once you re-clean all the window. You weren't as thorough with them like I told you." The pinkett said in a stern tone with Midoriya looking back at the mansion.

"Y-yes, Ram." Izuku said as he tore his gaze away from the mansion and back to the group, he took notice of Rem staring at him. She wasn't expressing or saying anything as both Frederica and Ram continued discussing the tasks for the day.

"Uhh, Rem? Do I have something on my face?" The greenette said wiping his face with his forearm as if trying to remove whatever he thought was distracting Rem.

"No, I was just curious on the progress of your training."

"What do you mean?"

"I've seen you and Frederica train the past few days. Despite your attacks telegraph nature due to putting focus on your legs, they have become more precise." Rem said as the greenette listened at the backhanded compliment.

"Yeah, she's been of great help. She also helped me in figuring out how to attack from a distance." Midoriya said as the pinkett turned to her senior.

"You never did develop your wind magic."

"I much prefer melee combat but when Izuku said he was trying to find a way to attack from a distance, I remember how he created a blast of compress air by breaking his finger. I figure that if he could do it without injuring himself then it could help expand his versatility." Frederica said as the pink maid shifted her attention to Izuku.

"Seeing how he's still standing it seems like it worked."

"Yes, however there's the issue that it leaves him defenseless when he uses it." The blonde said.

"And how long has he been working on that attack?" Rem asked.

"This morning." The blonde-haired maid said which got a look of surprise from the twins.

"He's a fast learner. Once he told me the idea he started working on it and what you saw was the results of it." Frederica praised as it got a blush from Midoriya.

"It's not good enough yet. I have to find a way to keep the power output up without the whiplash. I can't be a liability in a fight if I have to be protected when I use it." The greenette said as he remembered the words Mr. Aizawa told him early on.

"If you want to be less of a liability then try improving on your chores. I noticed that when we mop you were spreading grime across the floor and not swabbing enough in certain areas." Ram said.

"Wait, can you repeat that?" Izuku asked as the pinkett saw a look of realization in him which confused her.

"Did you also go deaf? I said you're spreading out the grime throughout the floor and not swabbing enough on certain spots." The pink-haired maid said with an annoyed look as she saw a look of determination on him.

"Thank you Ram."

"For?"

"You gave me an idea of how I can keep the power output up without the recoil." The greenette said as confusion came from the pink maid as to how he found an answer from her telling him to improve his chores. Frederica got a chuckle out of it as she has come to understand her green-haired junior's odd logic for how he uses his power.

"Hearing that you found a way to use that attack without being less as a liability is reasuring. Of course, it would be in the best interest for all of us if you continue to progress so that you can prove useful in battle." Midoriya heard as once more the bluenette did not mince her words around him which reminded him as to the reason they started the conversation.

"But Rem why are you interested in my progress anyway?"

"Because I want to see how well you do in a fight." Rem simply said as it brought some different reactions from everyone there.

"You want to spar with Izuku?" Frederica said as she had a look of curiosity as the blue maid nodded.

"Rem, why would you want to fight Deku if he'll just end up on the ground by the end?" Ram said.

"I agree with Ram, why do you want to spar with me Rem?" Midoriya asked, ignoring part of the pinketts comment.

"You are a butler of Master Roswaal. You appear to have some battle experience and power behind you but it won't matter if you end up breaking your limbs fighting. I want to see if you can fight to protect Master Roswaal if the situation were to ever arise." The blue-haired maid said as it got the greenette to understand where she was coming from as he wasn't just there for household chores but to also fight when necessary and gaining more experience would be beneficial for both him and those in the mansion. He was about to agree until he remembered about someone, more specifically a small ruby-eyed girl.

"I'm sorry but we can't. I-I mean we can but not right now a-and it's not that I don't want you to help me its just that Eri is probably awake right now and I don't want to leave her alone for too long and-"

"It's alright Izuku." The greenette's attention turned to the blonde-haired maid who had a small smile on her face.

"I'll go get Eri ready and bring her to you." Frederica said as she, Ram, and Rem saw Izuku give a ninety-degree bow to their senior.

"Thank you Frederica." He said as it got a chuckle out of the blonde.

"Well, better go ahead and get started, the sooner the two of you finish the sooner we can get the chores done." Frederica said as Midoriya gave her a nod as he walked back towards a more open space in the yard with Rem following behind.

"Frederica, may I have a word with you?" The blonde heard as she turned toward the pinkett who walked up to her.

"Let's talk and walk." Frederica said as the two went towards the mansion.

"Now, what was it that you wanted to talk with me about?" The blonde maid asked.

"It pertains to the little one." Which got the blonde's attention.

"What about Eri? Did something happen to her that you didn't tell me?" Frederica asked as Ram shook her head.

"No, rather I wanted to talk about how to interact with her." Which only got the blonde to look at her confused for a moment.

"Is something wrong Frederica?" The pinkett asked as her senior shook her head.

"My apologies, I was just surprised at the question. What brought this up?" Frederica asked.

"You noticed that her behavior isn't normal for a child her age and from what Deku said on the first day, we can make the assumption that she suffered some form of abuse that made her distrusting toward other. I've tried to ease her more around me by being nicer around her or giving her an Appa whenever we have them available but it feels as though she is keeping me at arm's length when we interact."

"Does she appear frighten around you?" Frederica asked as she turned towards her junior.

"No, rather she flinches or becomes nervous when I approach her." The pinkett responded as the blonde maid as a somber smile was on her face at hearing the ruby-eyed little girl making progress in trusting others, small, but progress nevertheless.

"It's good to hear that Eri isn't scared of you."

"Yes, however, I can tell that she is rather uncomfortable with me around and with you being the other person aside from Deku that she feels comfortable around, I want to know what you did to get her to open up to you." Ram said as she hit a wall with Eri. While she has some solid communication with her co-worker, the small girl has proven to be a much slower process like she anticipated. She could continue to meander but at this rate, her master's plans could be further delayed and she needed to speed up the process. Frederica looked at her junior for a few moments in silence as if trying to find the right words before responding.

"Ram, the thing is that this is not something that we can force Eri into. She will open up to you at her own pace, we cannot overwhelm her right now."

"Does this pertrain to the abuse that she suffered?" Ram asked as she saw her senior go silent once more with a somber look on her face.

"Yes, unfortunately."

"Do you know the extent of what happened to her?" The pink-haired maid asked the blonde as she continued looking forward with the same somber expression.

"It is not my place to say the detail... and Ram..." The pinkett turned to her senior as she saw her have a serious expression.

"I do not want you to even try and ask Eri of what happened to her. She went through enough as it is and I do not want her to be reminded of that experience, understood?" Frederica asked as Ram stared at the blonde's protectiveness towards the small girl that she has only come to know about a week ago.

'Frederica, did you get attached to her?'

"Ram, do you understand?" The blonde asked once more as it got the attention of her junior.

"Yes, I do." Ram said as her seniors' expression softened.

"If you want to know what Eri went through, the only one that can tell you is Izuku." Frederica said as the pinkett took a mental note to talk to the greenette at a later point.

"Ram, make no mistake that I am glad you want to help Eri but why the sudden change?" She asked as the blonde saw the confused look on Ram's face as Frederica released an internal sigh.

"I've known you and Rem for close to seven years and the actions that you have been showing to Izuku and specifically Eri is not the usual behavior you tend to display towards the other servants or guests."

"You know that my usual act is so that I can keep an eye on those who enter the mansion until I determine they aren't threat to Master Roswaal's safety." Ram said back.

"Yes, I understand and your judge of character has not been wrong. Though you aren't the only one to share that distinction." The blonde said which got the attention of the pinkett.

"Aside from Izuku and myself, you're the only other person that Eri has spent the most time with Ram and yet despite her young age she could see that the actions you were showing to her is different to how you often treat others."Frederica said as Ram turned to face her.

"What got her to reach that conclusion?"

"She asked when I was helping her get ready for bed why you acted so differently around her yet treated Izuku almost the same as everyone else. I took notice of that as well with how you would often correct Izuku when he messes up Master Roswaal's honorifics yet when Eri address him by anything else, you always appear as though you are holding yourself back from correcting her." The blonde-haired maid said as she saw the stare her junior was giving her before continuing.

"Do not misunderstand me, I am grateful that you are making the effort in showing her kindness but that level of kindness you only showed to Rem and Master Roswaal so what changed?" Frederica asked as all she got was silence from her junior who was looking away from her.

Ram was, for lack of another world, concerned at what she was hearing. She has made certain to be careful on her actions around the greenette and especially Frederica, who the pinkett knew would begin to grow suspicious if she were to notice. However, she did not take into account the probability of Eri taking notice which she would have been impressed with had it not just put her entire order into jeopardy. She can't tell her senior the truth otherwise it'll create issues for her master and so after a brief moment to recollect herself, she addressed the blonde.

"Those two are not from around here Frederica. Had Deku not proven that he and Eri weren't from around here, I would just have seen him as a idiotic buffoon that is watching over a small child that isn't his. Yet, now we know an entirely new world exists that they just happened to be brought here with no knowledge of language, money, or even customs. If those two were left to survive on their own, Deku would make an attempt for the two of them but wouldn't last long, not without help." The pinkett said as she waited for a response from the blonde-haired maid which she did get after a few moments of silence and her curious expression went back to her soft smile.

"I see. Well, thank you for clarifying it for me Ram. Good to know that your actions are clean of suspicion." Ram stopped which in turn caused Frederica to stop as well.

"Clean of suspicion?"

"Don't misunderstand me in thinking I don't trust you, Ram. I just want to be certain that what you are doing for Izuku and Eri isn't being done for some dubious reason." The blonde beast woman said as while the pinkett knew this to be true, though it wasn't any less irksome to her.

"Frederica, I understand you want to help them but you can't baby them the entire time. Especially considering that Deku could take down an entire building with one strike."

"I am fully aware of what Izuku is capable of. However, I'll continue to support and help Eri every step of the way."

"You aren't the only one who has been helping her, you know." Ram said crossing her arms.

"You are right but Ram, there's a difference between helping because you want to and helping because it's our duty." Frederica said as it got the pinkett to look at her expectingly for an answer.

"Do you know the reason why Eri trusts Izuku above anyone?"

"It's because he saved her from whatever Hell she was in, right?"

"That is part of the reason. It's also because time and time again, Izuku has shown Eri that he will go to any lengths to protect and save her not because it's his duty as a Hero but because he genuinely wants to help and better her situation." The blonde said.

"You're right, we've seen him go to extreme lengths just to help someone. Yet, you've become the only other person aside from him that she became comfortable enough to be held by even though you didn't do something on the level of Deku." Ram said as she saw her senior look at her with a serious expression.

"Ram... when we first were looking after her, do you know who I saw when we entered her room for the first time? I saw a frighten little girl that needed comfort from a world that she didn't know. We may have been put incharged of looking after her as maids of the Roswaal Estate, but when she was shaking like a leaf and terrified of everyone and everything around her, I couldn't stand by a do nothing to help. Not because it was our duties as maids to make our guests stay comfortable but because I wanted to help her." Frederica said clenching a hand over her chest as the talk with the greenette came to her. She knew that she was getting herself too involved with guests matters when she shouldn't but how could she not. Frederica promised to help her and she'll be damned if she goes back on it.

Ram was left silent at her senior's words at her reasoning and why Eri trusted both Izuku and Frederica. She tried an entire week to gain the trust of the platinum-haired little girl without much to show. Yet the blonde maid was able to get her to trust her in a matter of days not because the beast women wanted Eri to trust her but because the small girl saw the genuineness behind her actions and yet see through the pink-haired maids own. The blonde-haired maid took notice of her junior's silence.

"Ram, don't be hard on yourself. You said Eri isn't scared of you, correct? It means that she is slowly warming up to you." Frederica said but could see that the pink maid was still in thought.

"Ram, if you want Eri to be comfortable around you, then be more genuine around her. I know you rather not show your softer side to others aside from Master Roswaal and Rem but she's a little girl that needs all the genuine people in the world. Showing her some of that kindness won't hurt anyone." The blonde said as it got the attention of the pinkett which was a good sign for the beast woman to have gotten a reaction.

"And Ram... you have my thanks in helping them get adjusted. I know you would have rather done other things aside from teaching them to read, write, the chores, and any other information of this world but nevertheless, thank you." The blonde said the pinkett watched her senior for a few moments at her thanks. It got Ram to keep quiet at those words because she knew that everything she was doing for Eri and Deku was for the benefit of her master, nothing more and nothing less.

"Now, we better enter and get Eri down for breakfast." Frederica said as she walked down a few doors with Ram following close behind. Once they reached their destination and opened the door, they saw Eri already changed though still needed her hair to be done.

"Good morning Eri."

"G-good morning Miss Frederica, M-miss Ram." The platinum-haired little girl stuttered a bit as the two maids took notice that the small girl was beginning to take some of her green-haired caretakers' mannerisms. Frederica approached her and knelt to her level.

"Did you dress yourself on your own Eri?" To which the small girl nodded shyly.

"You're growing into a big girl Eri." The blonde said caressing her platinum hair as Eri looked up at her timidly.

"You want to help blush your hair Eri?" Frederica asked as the small girl nodded as the blonde maid got back up with Eri holding her hand. As for Ram, she was looking at the scene in front of her and seeing what her senior was talking about, even though Eri was still rather quiet and shy, she was still more comfortable and accepting of Frederica looking after her. The pinkett could see how the blonde was caring for the ruby-eyed little girl with her actions and words carrying genuine care for the small girl. Ram kept a neutral expression as she continued watching the scene but a part of her, buried underneath the facade, hoped that Frederica, Deku, or Eri ever find out the truth behind her 'kindness'.

Roswaal Mansion (Back Garden)

Some minutes have passed since Ram and Frederica have left, in that time Rem and Izuku continued sparring with one another. Midoriya zipped through the yard as he constantly evaded the blue maids' attacks by a hair as she was keeping up with him at 8% Full Cowling. Unlike the blonde-haired maid who would often wait and counter his attacks, the blue-haired maid was more aggressive in her fighting as more often than not it was the greenette who would have to dodge and try to counter whenever there was an opening.

Midoriya lunged forward with an axe kick as the blue-haired maid threw a right fist at him. The two attacks collided with one another with Rem grabbing onto his leg. However, the greenette wasn't done as using his other leg, he delivered a roundhouse kick which managed to get her to loosen her grip on him as he backflipped into a stance. Seeing his co-worker being left wide open, Izuku lunged himself forward as to not let the chance pass by and-

"Please protect Subaru"

'Huh? That voice.' The greenette thought as he continued moving forward. As he continued to approach her, he barely dodged a right hook that was aimed at his head. Izuku crashed onto the ground as he heard the ground where he once stood crack as he rolled back to his feet and saw the blue-haired maid be in a kneeling position.

'That was too close.' Midoriya thought as he suddenly felt a murderous aura close by. He remained frozen by the feeling as he kept his eyes at Rem who slowly turned towards him and all he could see in her eyes was pure anger and hatred directed right at him.

"Rem?" Izuku asked before quickly dodging to the side as he heard chains fly right past his side. He rolled before pushing himself off the ground as the chain flew right under him while being pulled away from him as he felt something sharp slash across his chest which caused him to recoil as he got back into his feet, clutching his chest as he saw blood.

"Rem, what are you-"

"You finally showed your true colors."

"Huh?" Midoriya said confused as he saw Rem be holding a black handle with pink highlights. A long, black metal chain was connected to it, and at the very end of the chain was a giant metal spiked ball with pink highlight throughout the weapon along with one of the spikes having blood, his blood on it.

"You may have hidden your scent but not good enough." She said with venom in her tone.

"Wait, what are you talking about?"

"Don't pretend you cultistist! You have the witches stench, it's enough to warrant you death!" The blue maid yelled as it got Izuku to look at her in confusion at her accusation and sudden shift in attitude.

"Rem, I don't even know what or who you're talking about?! What witch and w-what do you mean I have its stench?!" The greenette said in defense as he tried making sense of the situation.

"I knew you were hiding that stench after I saw you leave sister's room that first night. You may have fooled everyone but the witch's scent became pugnant with you just now and why is that? Were you intending to kill me while Frederica and sister were gone before going after them?!" Rem yelled as Midoriya saw the taciturn girl just release all her anger at him. However, he noticed a detail that caught his attention.

'The first day? What did I do that would make her suspicious of me?' Izuku thought for a second as to why she waited to attack until just now. It took him a bit of thinking before coming to a slow realization.

'Is it because of that voice?'

"There's no need for you to remain alive. I will do what I must to protect Master Roswaal and sister." Rem said as he saw her tighten her grip on the weapon.

"Rem, please! We don't have to do this! I don't want to hurt you!" Izuku tried to reason with her.

"Excuses won't save you, cultist!" Rem yelled as Midoriya used 10% of Full Cowling to dodge out of the spike balls path as he saw it impact the ground with great force. Izuku would rush to the bluenette but would be stopped when she pulled her weapon towards him as he felt the chain whiplash onto him that caused him to roll before getting back up.

The greenette could tell that she was not holding back as she intended to kill him and he needed to put a stop to her without causing her harm. Thinking quickly, he redirected himself towards the blue-haired maid to incapacitate her but before he could, she twisted in place proceeded to kick him in the chest as he was blown back and rolling on the ground as he felt the wind knocked out of him. He couldn't stop though as before long he picked himself back upright as the spiked ball crashed where he was. The Midoriya would attempt this several times but each time he got close, Rem would kick him back and nearly crush him with the spiked ball and chain, he didn't have much choice other than to dodge while he came up with a plan. However, his luck would come to an end when he attempted to jump out of the way. He managed to avoid the spiked ball but quickly, the blue maid twisted the chain so that it wrapped itself around his right leg.

'Crap!' Izuku thought as he felt the chain tighten around his leg as he went to loosen the weapon's grip on him before being pulled hard towards the ground.

*Slam*

"AGH!" The greenette yelled as he got the wind knocked out of him again. However, the blue-haired maid didn't give him enough time to recover as she dragged him across the ground, raised him into the air before slamming him onto the ground hard.

*Slam*

"AGH!" Midoriya yelled once more as he was hit with full force on that slam. Rem repeated this various times, with each try she would slam him harder and harder with the greenette reeling in from the pain.

'I need an opening, just enough to get this chain off!' The greenette thought as he remembered the words of Ram.

"I said you're spreading out the filth and not swabbing enough on certain spots."

'If I power O.F.A at the moment of impact into a specific point then...' Izuku thought as he looked at his scarred right hand as his idea started to take shape before being slammed once more onto the ground. He turned and raised his right hand towards Rem as he began charging O.F.A. However, before he could attack, the bluenette raised him off the ground once more and slammed him onto the ground. Pain shot throughout his body but he didn't care as he grit his teeth and aimed.

'I'm sorry about this Rem. 25% Delaware Smash!' Midoriya thought as he flicked his index finger.

"Huma!" Rem yelled as a small blue transparent dome enveloped her when she took notice of the incoming air blast. Though it proved to be too much for the dome as the blast broke through it, hitting the blue maid hard as she was sent backward into the air.

'There's my chance, I need to remove the chaaaaaaain!' The greenette didn't finish his thoughts as the chain caused him to be pulled along with the blue-haired maid as they headed straight to the mansion.

A Few Moments Earlier (Ground Level Hallways)

After finishing brushing Eri's hair, the trio began making their way to the back of the mansion to meet up with Rem and Izuku. Frederica was in the middle, Eri to her right, and Ram to her left as the blonde was holding onto the hand of the ruby-eyed little girl. Ram kept to herself as the small girl kept asking her senior questions about something called 'Halloween', whatever that was as they felt the ground shake sporadically.

"Seems like those two are getting into it." Frederica said as the trio continued walking down the hall. As they continued walking, from the corner of her eye Ram noticed the small horned girl glancing at her every so often before looking away when the pinkett noticed. This caused Ram to reflect on her senior's words since despite her getting an answer, it felt as though she was back to where she started. She knew what to do, show genuine kindness to Eri, the issue was that there was a risk that she knows can happen and that is her becoming attached to her. She saw it first with Frederica and how she's become attached to the small girl after only a week and the pinkett knew that if the time were to come where her masters' plan came to fruition and she became too close to Eri, it could prove problematic.

However, as she glanced back towards the ruby-eyed little girl, the pink maid couldn't help but see the image of a younger Rem when they were in the village. When she was overlooked by everyone, looking downcast most of the time while all of the village's attention was on the pinkett. Ram had stood by her and tried to get her to see the good qualities about herself without worrying about others but she continued looking saddened. Even now, despite being the perfect maid, Rem stopped expressing her emotions altogether and would harshly put herself down when praise was given to her. Maybe it was because of this that a part of the pinkett wanted to help Eri, to help her move from whatever trauma she is experiencing because she has seen how it can affect someone, like Rem.

All of this was what made that small though Ram had become slowly bigger as she looked at the ruby-eyed little girl who had the same timid look and made her question the morality of what she would have to eventually do or if she could bring herself to achieve her goal and subsequently break that trust if it were to be made. However, unbeknownst to her, the very emotion she wanted to avoid was starting to take form in her. Upon reaching the end of the hall, one of the mansion's servants ran towards the three.

"Frederica! Frederica! There's an emergency!" He said stopping in front of the three with urgency in his tone.

"Gunter, take a breath. What is going on?" Frederica said as she felt Eri grab onto her uniform tightly. At the same time, Ram was taken out of her thoughts as she felt an immense hatred suddenly swell inside her, confusing her because she knew it wasn't her's which meant it probably was her sister. Though that brought her even more questions because Rem should currently be sparing with-

*Break* *Break*

Ram, along with Frederica, Eri, and the butler, had their attention suddenly turned towards the loud noise of breaking glass as fragments of concrete flew towards them with the pinkett shielding herself while the beast woman protected Eri from the dust and anything else that flew at them. A few moments passed in silence as the two maids looked tried recollecting themselves.

"Eri, are you ok?" Frederica said looking down at the platinum-haired little girl as she felt her shaking as she remained silent with her eyes having expanded completely, almost as if she was staring at death itself.

"Frederica, we have a problem." The blonde heard the urgency in her junior's tone.

"What do you-"

"*Groan*" The three heard a voice come from within the dust as they followed the noise and saw Izuku learning on the broken hall wall of the second floor.

"Izuku!" Frederica yelled as she and the others saw that their green-haired co-worker was covered in dirt, cuts, and bruises.

'I let my concentration slip.' Midoriya thought as he clutched his finger in pain. His name being shouted brought him out of it as he looked down at Frederica, Ram, and Eri as they looked up at him.

"Izuku, what happened!?" Frederica asked as she noticed one of his fingers was bright red.

"*Heavy Breathing* Everything was ok but Rem, she-"

*Clink*

"Woah!" The greenette couldn't finish as he was yanked back through the broken window, going over broken debris, glass, and even the wall itself as he was pulled outside. The four stared through the broken window as they heard the sound of a chain and glass breaking.

"Gunter, what happened?" The blonde beast woman asked with urgency.

"Frederica, the reason why I was calling you is that Rem and the young boys match turned unfavorable rather quickly and we don't know how to stop them!" The butler Gunther said as Frederica was left shocked for a moment before she turned towards the pinkett who was equally as shocked.

"Ram, do you have a reading on Rem?!"

"All I'm feeling from her is an immeasurable amount hatred. But I don't understand, she only ever gets like that when-"

"Then all the more reason to get them to stop!" Frederica interrupted as she knelt in front of Eri with her hands on her shoulders.

"Eri, stay with Ram and listen to her while I go help Izuku and Rem, ok?" The blonde said firmly to the small girl who nodded her head fast with the same fearful look on her eyes as the beast woman stood before turning to her junior.

"Keep her safe." Frederica rushed out of the opened back door before Ram could give a response. Once outside, the blonde noticed that her two juniors were not in the now ruined garden. After looking side to side for a bit, her gaze went up as she heard a loud crash from above as she noticed the two broken windows.

On the third floor of the mansion, Izuku crash through the window before slamming onto the wall. He groaned in pain but dodged quickly out of the way as Rem punched right through the wall.

"My apologies Master Roswaal." The blue maid said quietly as she looked at the greenette who managed to put a few feet between them and loosen the chain on him.

"You are causing more unnecessary mess and trouble for all of us." She said pulling her hand out of the now ruined wall and reeling back her morning star.

"Rem... why are you doing this?" The greenette asked catching his breath as he saw her sport the same stoic expression.

"I don't need to waste my breath with cultists like you and THAT little one down below. I have to finish here before continuing on to her." Rem said as Midoriya looked up at the blue-haired maid at the mention of the small girl being her next target.

"*Heavy Breathing* You keep Eri out of this, she did nothing wrong!" Izuku yelled at her as he stood up through the pain.

"She has the smell of the witch, stronger than you. I shouldn't have been surprised. There's been stories of young recruits like her killing others through their deceipt." The blue maid said.

"Rem*Heavy Breathing* I told you that I am not a member and neither is Eri. Interrogate me if you must but I will not let you harm her!" The greenette yelled.

"I will do what I must to protect Master Roswaal and sister from those who will do harm to them. I will kill you and the little one if it means to protect them." Rem said as Izuku's eyes expanded at her words as he stood frozen in shock. His head dipped slightly as his hair shadowed over his eyes with the blue-haired maid reeling her morning star back and launching the spiked ball directly at Midoriya, finally to put an end to the supposed cultist. Then, the greenette caught the spiked ball in his right hand as the green lightning around his body was glowing brightly. That did not mean he was unscathed as one of the spikes nicked the side of his hand as blood was running down the weapon and into the floor with its victim not reacting to it. Rem pulled on her weapon but would not budge as she saw him holding on tightly to the spiked ball with no intention of letting go as she heard him talk in a low tone.

"I don't care what you do to me..." He said as he grabbed onto the chain with his left.

"I don't care if I have to break every limb in me..." Izuku said as the red veins of Full Cowling spread through his body. He tighten his grip onto the chain as the blue maid saw his green, vibrant, emerald eyes breakthrough his shadowed face as she saw the anger he was displaying.

"But if anyone tries to harm Eri, I will stop at nothing to protect her!" He yelled as he yanked the chain towards him with all his might as it caused the bluenette to stumble towards him. Midoriya lunged forward as he landed a kick onto the abdomen of the blue-haired maid as it sent her flying back. Then, just as quickly as he attacked, Izuku was on the move as he ran ahead of the maid before delivering another strong kick at her as the green sparks around his body glowed vibrantly. The greenette continued his assault of attacks as all he had in his mind was protecting Eri and the anger he felt towards the blue maid as he jumped back and forth, ricocheting off the ground and walls.

As for Rem, she tried to reorient herself and to land some counterattack but he was moving too fast for her as each time he attacked, he had moved and she was sent back a couple of meters. After being bounced around several times, the bluenette was able to dodge one of Midoriya's kicks as it resulted in her rolling on the floor and getting herself back to her feet. Izuku would not give her room to rest as she saw him charging at her and appropriately aiming her morning star at him but at the last second, he slid onto the ground he delivered a kick onto the bottom of her jaw that raised her of the ground which was followed by the greenette jumping into the air after her as he reeled back his leg and letting out a shout in rage.

Back on the ground floor, Ram continued looking at the opened door as concern was evident on her face. She was worried about her sister, not because she couldn't handle the greenette, she knew what her younger twin was capable of and Deku had too much of a pure heart to kill if she based it on his character. She was worried that in her rage, Rem would kill the greenette, and consequently, their master would punish her. That's not including what kind of repercussions it would have on the ruby-eyed little girl if she were to be told that her only lifeline was killed.

"I-is Deku going to be ok?" The pinkett heard in a scared tone from the platinum-haired little girl as she turned to her side and noticed her standing a few feet away, looking at the pink maid expectingly for an answer.

"Eri, he..."

"RAAAAHHH!" Ram's attention was torn away from Eri as they heard a yell come from outside before seeing something shoot out from above at high speed, hitting the ground with dirt being sent upwards from the impact. She then saw the greenette land a few meters away from the crater as she took notice of the various scrapes and cuts on Deku as he panted with anger being evident in his expression as the green lightning was coursing through him. However, the thing that caught her attention was when she looked at the crater and her eyes expanded as she saw vibrant blue hair break through the dirt.

"REM!" The pinkett and blonde both yelled as the two ran with Ram running out of the back door, leaving behind the ruby-eyed little girl to stand alone by the door. This snapped the greenette out as he looked towards the crater as his eyes expanded in realization.

"Oh no, Rem are you-"

"Deku!" Ram yelled which caused the greenette to stop as he saw the pinkett approach him before stopping next to her grounded sister. Frederica knelt next to the blue-haired maid and despite the several bruises from Midoriya's attacks, saw her chest rise at a steady pace.

"She's ok Ram." The blonde said as the pinkett knelt opposite of Frederica as she released a sigh of relief at her sister being alright. Having that thought settled, she then turned her attention and walked towards Midoriya before clocking him right in the jaw that caused him to fall.

"Ram!" Frederica yelled at the pink maid who stood above the downed young man.

"You better start explaining just what exactly happened when we were gone. If you try to spit out a lie, just know I will not be merciful." Ram said as Izuku saw her glare right through him. The greenette proceeded to explain as quickly yet calmly as possible what led to the confrontation with both the blonde and pink-haired maid looking towards Rem.

"So Rem attacked because she claimed you and Eri had the witches scent?" Frederica asked as the greenette nodded as Ram continued to look at him with anger.

"Ok, Deku. I can understand the need for you to defend yourself but did you have to go overboard with it?!" The pinkett yelled as Midoriya looked at the side with guilt.

"I didn't want to harm her but when she threatened to go after Eri-"

"Deku, don't even think of bringing up the little one as an excuse for this." The pink-haired maid said.

"I am not using Eri as an excuse for what I did." He said in a slightly raised tone.

"Really? Because it looks like it with my dear sister being laid out in a crater because of you!" Ram yelled.

"Ram, please be reasonable. I know you are angry but remember that Rem was the one to attack him and threaten Eri. Izuku responded in defense." Frederica said trying to mediate the tension between the two.

"I'm not angry but I also need this 'Hero' to see how he is covering what he did by using Eri as the reason for his attack." The pinkett said.

"I wanted to avoid a fight and tried talking to her but she wouldn't listen! She wanted to go after Eri because she had this witches scent and she would have had I not stopped her! I promised Eri that I would protect her from anyone that would harm her!" Izuku yelled as he stood back up from the ground.

"Even if it's against colleagues?" The pink-haired maid asked as she crossed her arms as she saw the greenette look at her with the same determined look he would have when he was serious.

"If it comes down to it, yes." He said as it got Ram to focus back on him at his response as the memory from the dining room came to her. It was a similar question with a similar answer, one where he would put the safety of the one he is saving and protecting above all no matter what it cost him.

"So that is all it will take for you to turn on us?"

"If it's to protect someone dear to you then you'll do anything for them. I know you and Rem would do the same for each other." Midoriya said to the pink-haired maid who blinked at his statement as it reminded her of the conditions that she agreed to protect her sister.

"Yes, however, there's a difference between us Deku. Rem and I are siblings and we will do anything for one another because we are all we have left from our former life. You and Eri are not. She's not your sister, she's not your family, and she's not your daughter, you're just the person that saved her. So why are you going to these lengths for Eri when she is just another person you've saved?" She finished as she saw him slowly turn to anger at her comment as he took a few steps forward.

"Eri isn't just another person I saved Ram! Eri is-" Midoriya stopped and remained still, as did the two maids as they heard the sound of chains a few meters away from them. They turned to look at the crater the greenette created and saw Rem rise from it, morning star in hand as she tilted her head high. Izuku prepared himself for what was to come, however, what he didn't expect was to see a pink glow appear at the center of her forehead. Crackles of pink sparks appeared as he saw her eyes glow pink as from her forehead came what appeared to be a horn as it extended a few inches out. Had it just been that display it would have left Midoriya shocked. However, it was the murderous aura that was coming from her that caused him to halt.

"Hahaha..." The trio heard the blue-maid softly cackle as the glow in her eyes faded as he saw her have a joyous smile that was reminding him too much of a villainous blonde.

"This is not good." Frederica said as the pinkett looked at her sister with worry.

"Rem?" Izuku asked as the bluenette wobbled a few steps out of the crater as the trio watched her carefully before stopping and slowly turning her attention towards him.

"Watch out!" Midoriya yelled out as he shoved Ram, who was the closest to him, out of the way with the pink-haired maid watching as the greenette's body glowed with green lightning as he turned around in time to catch her sister's morning star. Though that didn't do much in slowing down the weapon as he was pushed back by it with full force as it caused him to crash into the side of the mansion.

"Izuku!" Frederica yelled as she saw Rem charge forward towards him. The blonde intercepted by tackling her and throwing her some distance away. Having a moment to breathe, the blonde beast woman turned towards the pink-haired maid.

"Ram, please check on Izuku and take inside for treatment. Don't let him come and fight." The blonde beast woman instructed before moving forward towards the blue-haired maid who had recovered from the tackle.

Ram, snapping out of her stupor, stood up as she went towards her green-haired co-worker to make sure that he was still alive for her master. As she reached the greenette, she saw he was on the ground with his back against the now broken wall with a pained expression on his face. He had both hands on the spiked ball with a spike being embedded onto his right shoulder with blood staining his costume. She breathe a sigh of relief knowing that he didn't perish as she didn't expect that he would survive a direct blow of Rem's morning start, even in her Oni form. However, what mortified her was when she saw her junior slowly pulling the spiked ball out of his shoulder as he shouted in pain with blood spurting out of the wound. She saw the greenette be in utter pain as blood poured out of him at an alarming rate which surprised her as to how he has not gone into shock from it before seeing him slowly get back up to his feet with the green sparks still jumping out of him.

"What is it with you wanting to keep fighting when you're at death's door?" The pinkett said as Midoriya turned to face her.

"Ram*Grunt* what is happening with Rem?" Midoriya asked as he strumbled before being caught by the pink maid.

"Stop moving you idiot otherwise you'll bleed out." The pinkett said as she reached into one of the pockets in her uniform and pulled out a clean white rag as she started wrapping the rag tightly around his shoulder to stop the bleeding.

"As for your question, she's in her Oni form." Ram confessed as the greenette looked at her in surprise.

"Oni? So you and Rem aren't-"

"Human? No, we aren't." The pinkett said as Midoriya grunted at the pressure she was applying to the rag. As he was being patched up, Izuku looked towards Frederica who was keeping the bluenette at bay but Rem was proving to be more resilient and stronger as it was taking everything in the blonde to keep her away from the greenette.

"I have to... help her." Midoriya said mustering the strength to straighten himself but grunts in pain as the pinkett finished wrapping the rag over his shoulder.

"No, you're not. You lost enough blood that it's honestly surprising that you're still conscious, much less be standing. You won't be of help." Ram said as she saw a disgruntled look in the greenettes expression.

"Back in the mansion I was able to overpower Rem, so if I were to push my Quirk then I could stop her again." Izuku said as he saw the pink-haired maid turn to him with an irritated expression at his suggestion.

"Are you even listening to yourself?! You're injured, barely standing on your own feet, and rather than get some treatment your first thought is to continue breaking yourself further with your power. It'll be suicidal in your condition. Not only will this idea of yours get in the way of Frederica but it will also get you killed." The pinkett said as Midoriya remained looking forward in silence as he remained unwavering by her words which got the pink maid annoyed at her co-workers' suicide mission.

"Just give up on that thought and get treated, your help is not needed, and you can't let yourself get involved when your help is not being asked for?"

"I can't. Not while I know I could do something to help Rem." Izuku said.

"What?" Ram said at the call of her sister's name.

"Rem, she's not in control of herself, is she? Her behavior and movement is like what happened to one of my classmates when his Quirk went out of control during out summer camp training before he was stopped. You're her sister, you must know of a way to stop her, right?" He said as the pinkett often forget's that the greenette was brighter than she gives him credit for seeing how he made that observation rather quickly.

"I know that you are still mad from earlier but if there's a way I can stop her then please tell me. I don't want Rem to hurt herself." He said as the pinkett looked at him with a slight surprise at his response. Despite nearly being bludgeoned several times, he still wanted to help her sister so that she could be safe from harm. She was glad to hear that because if he was holding resentment she would have ended the talk then and there.

"Why? Why do you want to still help when you are the one in most need of it?" She asked as she saw a soft smile on his face as he turned to her.

"I can't stand by and do nothing when someone needs help. Even if Rem wants to kill me, I will do everything to help her come back safe." Izuku said as Ram looked at him to see for any hint of receipt or falseness in his response but found none, he genuinely wanted to help her.

Then, the two heard the sound of Ice in the background as they saw Rem forming what appeared to be various shards of Ice in front of her hand aimed towards the greenette. However, before they launched, Frederica managed to redirect the attack away from him with some crashing through windows. Unfortunately, some of the shards flew into the servants inside as shouts were heard from within the mansion. The greenette and pinkett looked back at the servants as they saw them scrambling to help those that were hit by the shards with Frederica gritting her teeth at her interception having caused more harm.

"Ram, I have to stop her, I know she's your sister but if she continues she could hurt someone or herself by accident." Izuku said as Ram looked at him and then back at her sister.

"Her horn. A solid hit should bring her back." The pink-haired maid said as Midoriya looked towards where the blue maid was.

"Understood. Anything else?"

"Try to not make too much of a mess, we already have enough cleaning as it is." She said as the Izuku turned to her with a determined look as he charged O.F.A for Full Cowling.

"I'll try."

"And... thank you for pushing me out of the way." Midoriya heard her say as he had a look of surprise at what she said.

"I'm not repeating myself." She said to him as he just stared at her for a moment since he didn't expect her to thank him but just gave her a soft smile as he faced forward once more.

"Ram, when you asked me why do I go so far for Eri is because even though she isn't my daughter, she matters too much to me. She didn't have people there for her when she needed it, she was discouraged at every turn, and felt that her very existence itself was just a curse to everyone. In a sense, I was able to understand her and she was able to understand me." Midoriya said with a sad smile as he clenched his right bloodied hand, something that didn't go unnoticed by the pinkett as she heard the bits of information.

"I promised her that I would make sure she had a better life, she put her trust in me after not trusting others for so long and I want to make that promise into a reality. It's why I want to see her grow up to be happy and smiling despite everything she's gone through. It may be presumptious of me but I want to be there for her every step of the way." Midoriya said as he used Full Cowling before turning over to the pink maid who stared at him after his heartfelt response as it left her speechless for his reasons and thinking about her previous comments towards him.

"Please, keep Eri safe." Izuku said before running ahead. Ram watched him go as her opinion started shifting little by little. She saw him as someone that she considered incompetent, reckless, and a fool for risking everything saving someone to now she was starting to see the kind of person that he is striving to become, a Hero. After a moment, she opted to do what he asked as she went back inside the mansion to find the platinum-haired little girl. Once she entered, she saw as various servants were tending to the injured from the earlier misdirected attack but from what she could see, none of them appear to be either in danger or dead. However, that wasn't her main focus as she began looking around the platinum-haired little girl

"Eri?" She called out but got no response or even see the stand-out platinum hair. She asked some of the servants if they'd seen her but none have seen the small girl. As she kept looking around, the sense of dread continued growing the longer that Eri wasn't seen.

"Uhhh... Ram?" The pinkett heard one of the maids speak to her and she was about to ignore her until she spoke.

"I think I know where Eri went." The maid said as the pink maid felt a sense of relief, one that made her wonder why.

"Where did you see her?" Ram asked with the maid pointing towards one of the walls in the mansion. This confused her at first since there wasn't any place for the small girl to hide behind. That was until she looked at the window that gave a view of Kremaldy Forest and what she saw made that dreadful feeling envelop her whole. On one of the bushes near the edge of the forest was a vibrant red scarf, the same one Eri had worn.
