Job Fifty: The Enemies' Might

Neinhart stood close to the edge of the cliff observing the battle that was soon to come. More specifically, the ice pillars Esdeath had created in a short time. He was trying to figure out one puzzling mystery about her and he's yet to come up with an explanation. "Something on your mind, Neinhart?"

Neinhart looked back to see Brandish standing behind him. "Oh, Brandish. Well..." He looked back at the battlefield. "I can't quite understand that Esdeath woman ever since she attacked His Majesty. I've summoned countless Historia and yet she's the first who's acted without my command. How is it she was able to do such a thing? The only explanation I can come up with is that she must've acted by her heart's desire back when she was alive. She must've been an incredible force to be reckoned with."

Brandish knew Esdeath attacking Zeref wasn't Neinhart's doing. Still, it was perplexing to know there's an Historia Neinhart can't quite control. "If you can't control her, why not make her disappear? There's no use of an Historia if you can't control it."

Brandish brought up a good point and Neinhart was about to reply, but someone else spoke. "The woman has the air of death around her."

Neinhart and Brandish both looked to see Bloodman of all people speaking to them. "It's rare that Bloodman talks to any of us." Brandish thought.

"Whether Neinhart can control her or not, it doesn't matter. She will leave a field of corpses in her wake as well as the rest of her comrades."

Brandish looked at the battlefield. "Let's hope you're right." She was still slightly worried about Lucy, though.

Insert Akame Ga Kill OST 26: Jaegers

Back at the battlefield, the air felt deathly cold as everyone saw Esdeath arrive. Even Gildarts felt uneasy seeing her for the first time. "I've met a lot of women over the years but I have a gut feeling telling me she's bad news. Whoever she is, she's the same as the other guy, and yet..." He took a closer look at her. "She appears to be more dangerous than him."

Erza couldn't help but feel incredibly at unease by looking at the woman. So, this is Esdeath. The woman we've seen in Wendy's memories and who we've heard so many terrible things about her." If half of the things she heard about her were true, and they most likely are, they're in for an incredibly difficult fight. Especially with God Serena still around.

Esdeath was solely focused on Wendy and couldn't help but feel giddy seeing her once again. "It's been so long since we've seen each other, Wendy. How have you been doing? Good, I hope." She then looked over at Akame. "And Akame. I thought you'd be in this world. There aren't many people still alive who were originally part of the Elite Seven and knew Gozuki. Though, I will admit I was surprised to see Merraid Oarburgh again which meant you must've been the one who killed her." Chelsea glanced over at Akame for a few seconds. Esdeath then focused on the remaining members of the Fairy Tail guild. "And the rest of you must be this Fairy Tail I've heard so much about. I must say, I'm rather impressed. You're all either very brave or insane to take on an army of this size. Still, you have my applause." She clapped her hands in front of them.

"Why?" Esdeath stopped clapping as she looked at Wendy again who was glaring at her. "Why the hell are you here? I already had enough of you always haunting me in mind. And now you're here standing in front of me." She closed her hands tight enough to draw blood. "Why can't you just leave me alone!?"

Esdeath was surprised to see this kind of expression coming from Wendy. "Why, Wendy. I don't think I ever remember you looking at me like that. But I must admit, I don't dislike it. If you're acting this way, I must've had a bigger effect on you after I died." She chuckled a little. "But as fate would have it, we're together again and this time, nothing will-"

"HEY, HEY, HEY!"

Esdeath immediately became annoyed as God Serena approached her appearing mad. "What makes you think you can just show up and steal my spotlight? If there's anything I hate more, it's people trying to upstage me." He stopped in front of her. "So, how about you stay back and watch like a good little girl while you witness what a true God can do-" Before he could get another word in, Esdeath quickly pulled out her sword and stabbed God Serena right through the chest while large chunks of ice sprouted from the wound. Esdeath's sudden action surprised and horrified everyone. He let out a pained gasp while staring at Esdeath with a look of wide disbelief. "Y-You..."

Esdeath narrowed her eyes at God Serena. "I've heard you were the strongest this land had to offer. I now see why you were killed so easily." Ice quickly covered his body. "And let me tell you what annoys me; arrogant fools such as yourself who're interrupting my long-awaited reunion with my dear Wendy." The ice completely froze God Serena solid. "So, do me a favor and go back to hell and stay there. I don't need someone as incompetent as you slowing me down." She raised her other hand and snapped her fingers. In the next instant, God Serena was completely shattered into pieces

To everyone in Fairy Tail, the leftover pieces seemed like they were falling in slow motion. The pieces fell to the ground and scattered. Erza was extremely confused by what she saw. I don't understand. They're both Historia made by that man back in Hargeon. So, why would one attack the other? Kyouko didn't do that with either Azuma and Ikaruga."

With one annoyance gone, Esdeath now had the entire group to herself. She flicked her sword before sheathing it. "Oh, yes. I'm not the only one who wants to see you, Wendy." She turned around to look at the group. She snapped her fingers and multiple chunks of ice erupted from the ground behind her. They cracked a second later before shattering to reveal a large group standing behind Esdeath.

Leone, Akame, Chelsea, and Wendy all shared the same reaction when they saw the group. "Oh, you gotta be shitting me."

Akame could hardly believe who she was seeing in front of her. They're all the people we've encountered back in the Empire. The Jaegers, Wild Hunt, one of the Rakshasa Demons, and Budo."

Chelsea dreaded what she was seeing. Great, we're going to go up against every single scumbag in the Empire and if they're like the others from before, they're probably enchanted too." That thought frightened her the most since they were strong as is without enchantments.

Syura chuckled sinisterly at the other group he saw. "Well, this is quite the party. I can't wait to have some fun."

Esren had the same thoughts. "Yeah, and I'm seeing some mighty fine women to play around with." He laughed perversely. Sorano couldn't help but shiver a little.

Stylish was in the same boat, but for different reasons. "And I'm seeing some mighty fine boy toys for me." He looked at Natsu and Gray with great interest.

Suddenly, Juvia's internal radar was going off. "Am I sensing another love rival?!"

Champ just seemed bored out of his mind. That is until he spotted Romeo and Asuka. As soon as he saw them, he had a very pleasant smile. "Finally, little angels I can get."

For Budo, he was looking for one particular person. "It seems that man isn't among them." He really wanted to pay back Laxus for making a fool out of him.

There was only one person Dorothea had it out for and pointed her finger at Leone. "Hey, you stupid wild animal woman! I'm going to make you pay for dropping that boulder on me!" Leone wasn't too keen on fighting her again.

However, Erza felt a deep rage boiling within her when saw Dorothea. "It's her. The one who gave Wendy that bite scar."

It may've been the reunion Wendy never wanted, but Esdeath was all for it. "Well, what do you think, Wendy? Isn't it nice to see so many familiar faces? And there's are many of your friends to kill." She laughed at the mere thought of slaughtering everyone. "You know, the last war between the Empire and the Revolutionary Army was ruined by your friends, Wendy. But now, I won't have my fun spoiled again. And I'll start..." She vanished before everyone's eyes and reappeared in front of Wendy. "With you, Wendy. Let's have some alone time together." Wendy let out a small gasp before ice wings sprouted from Esdeath's back and grabbed Wendy before taking off far away from the rest of the group.

"WENDY!" Leone, Akame, Chelsea, and Carla shouted at once.

Leone was astounded by how fast Esdeath was. "I couldn't even see her. Is it because she's enchanted?"

"Why you...!" Natsu turned around and tried to chase after Esdeath, only to be blocked by a lightning bolt.

"It's unwise to turn your back to your enemy, boy." Natsu turned around to look at Budo.

"I guess we have to fight them first, huh?" Happy spoke. Natsu was more than happy to oblige.

"Damn it! The ice bitch took the brat!"

Everyone heard a new voice and saw five new figures drop from the sky in front of the remaining Empire group. Lucy and the others immediately recognized them. Those are the Tartaros demons Wendy fought back in Akame's world!"

"Forget the brat!" Beatrice shouted. "Esdeath can have her for all I care now. We have the entire Fairy Tail guild in front of us and more importantly..." She pointed her finger at Natsu and Gray. "We have the ones responsible for killing our king!"

Gray narrowed his eyes at Beatrice. "So, they still don't know."

"For the crime of murdering our king, we will make sure you will pay for it with your lives!" Each demon had a different colored aura that surrounded them and shot up into the sky.

They quickly faded and revealed their Etherious forms. "Etherious Form: Complete!"

"Etherious Form: Demon Reaper!"

"Etherious Form: Decay Mode!"

"Etherious Form: Demon Scorpion!"

"Etherious Form: Silent Hell Demon!"

Insert Fairy Tail OST: Prelude to Destruction

Beatrice set her arm to the side. "Rugoro!"

Rugoro slammed his fist into the ground and it transformed into black sludge. It grew rapidly and became a gigantic wave of black sludge. "Rotting Tsunami!" The black wave was headed toward Natsu and the others.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu sent out his breath attack at the black wave but it only took out a small part of it and it was still headed their way.

Gildarts put his right hand forward at the black wave. "All Crush!" Within an instant, the black wave was completely destroyed. Or so he thought as the wave just became smaller parts and the countless pieces were about to rain down upon the other group. He immediately realized his mistake. "Uh-Oh."

Cana angrily waved her fist at her father. "Gildarts, you stupid idiot! You made things worse!" She ran over to him and dragged him away by the color.

Everyone else ran away to be avoided being hit by the black sludge. "Don't let that stuff touch you!"

Thankfully, everyone managed to avoid the black sludge but then they all felt the ground shake violently and a colossal being rose from where the Empire group was. Macao and Wakaba hugged each other out of fear upon seeing it. "AHHH! THAT'S HUGE!"

Akame knew very well who the giant being was. "It's Doctor Stylish."

"Oh, great. This guy was a pain to kill the first time around!" Leone spoke.

On top of the forehead of the giant, Stylish saw everyone below him. "Now, let's get this show on the road! Time to swat some annoying little gnats!" He clasped his two giant hands together above him. "BOO-YAH!" He swung his conjoined hands together at the ground below him and a giant column of dust shot up into the air. The attack delivered an earth-shattering shockwave that sent powerful winds in all directions. Everyone was caught in the shockwave and was scattered from each other.

Lucy groaned in pain as she recovered. "Okay, that was strong."

"You okay, Lucy?"

Lucy opened her eyes to see that Taurus was carrying her. He must've caught her just before the shockwave reached them. "Oh, Taurus. Thanks for saving me."

Taurus grinned at his master. "No problem. It's not every day I get to hold a smoking hot babe in my arms."

"And... you can set me down now."

"River Styx!" Taurus saw a wave of black sludge coming their way and jumped out of the attack's path. Lucy jumped out of her spirit's arms and saw Rugoro standing in front of them. "In honor of Master Ezel, I will eliminate all of Fairy Tail!"

Lucy wasn't exactly happy she had Rugoro as an opponent. "Great, again I get to fight the dumb ugly ones." She looked over at Taurus. "Taurus, you ready?"

Taurus grinned at Lucy. "You know it!"

Lucy smiled back. "Good because I have a plan."

Rugoro had enough waiting and set his hand in front of him. "Black Plague!" He sent multiple streams of black sludge to the duo.

They dodged the attack by going in opposite directions. "Go, Taurus!"

"I'm on it!" Taurus charged right at Rugoro and threw a punch at him.

Rugoro responded by doing the same and their fists collided with each other with a resounding boom. Lucy took a close look at Taurus's hand. "I thought so. His curse power doesn't affect Celestial spirit bodies."

Both Rugoro and Taurus were putting all their strength in their fists and neither was budging an inch. "Damn cow! I will end you along with that Fairy Tail wench!"

Smoke came out of Taurus's nose as soon as he heard that. "Oh, yeah? As long as I'm here, you're not getting anywhere near Lucy!" He threw an uppercut from underneath and struck Rugoro's chin. Rugoro yelled in pain but recovered and slammed his fist to the ground. "Decomp Geyser!"

Taurus looked down and then was blasted into the air by a geyser of black sludge erupting from the ground. Taurus recovered from the surprise attack and fell right toward the demon with his right arm pulled back. Once he was near, he punched forward at Rugoro but the demon crossed his arms to block the attack. Another loud boom occurred and Taurus pressed on with his attack. Thanks to the fall, his punch had more power behind it and sent the demon away from him. Rugoro stopped and growled angrily at Taurus while the bull spirit grinned at him. "Like I told you; you're not getting anywhere near Lucy!"

Gray found himself in a similar position and looked around the area. "Where did everybody go?"

"Painful Impact!" Gray turned around just in time to be punched by something bright red which sent him hurdling away from his attacker. He crashed through the ground and once he stopped, he saw that it was Raid who attacked him. "Fairy Tail. I'm going to enjoy killing you."

"Is that so?" Gray stood up and narrowed his eyes at his enemy. "Hate to break it to you, but I don't plan on dying to you." He took up his usual stance. Ice-Make: Geyser!" He slammed his hand to the ground and a tower of ice spikes erupted from the ground that struck Raid.

Raid just grinned within his mask as he easily destroyed Gray's attack and slammed his hand on the ground "Rising War!" Multiple pillars of red light erupted from the ground and were all headed toward Gray. The ice user dodged the attacks, but Raid appeared behind him and his hand glowed bright red. "Painful Impact!" Slammed Gray with his fist and sent him away. He then put his arms up and a larger red sphere formed above him. "Revenge Bomber!" He threw his arms down and sent his attack right at Gray.

Gray put his hands together with his usual stance. "Ice-Make: Shield!" He spread his arms out and an ice shield appeared in front of him. Raid's attack struck the shield and successfully blocked it. When the shield shattered, Gray put his hands together once more. "Ice-Make: Gungnir!" A giant spear of ice erupted from the ground, and it trapped Raid within its spearhead.

However, Raid easily broke out and stood on top of the broken ice spear. He spread his arms out and bright red orbs of light covered his hands. "Vengeance Barrage!" He threw his arms forward and sent countless red orbs at Gray. All the ice wizard could do was cross his arms and endure the onslaught of barrage attacks from his enemy. "I'm not even close to being done yet, Fairy Tail. I'll make you pay for what you did to our Tartaros and our king!"

"My love! Where did you go!?" Juvia scoured the mess of a battlefield trying to find Gray. In midst of her searching, she sensed something was behind her and turned around only for her body to be slashed by Sklade's scythe. "Water Cyclone!"

Sklade was struck by a powerful water cyclone and was pushed back. He swung his scythe at the water and cut it apart. He looked at Juvia again and saw that her body was unaffected by his attack. "How interesting. Not only do you seem to be alive, but it looks like you're not affected by my Madness curse."

"No, I am mad," Juvia responded. "Madly in love!" She swung her arm across in front of her body. "Water Slicer!"

The water blade quickly approached Sklade but he also cut that attack apart. "How intriguing. You shall be a most interesting opponent." He raised his scythe and the blades glowed red. "Tri-Maddening Cycle!" He swung his scythe and three bright red crescent blades came out, all heading toward Juvia.

All three attacks quickly reached Juvia and struck her at once. The resulting attacks kicked up a large cloud of dust. Sklade waited patiently for the cloud to clear up to see how his opponent handed his attack. "Water Cane!" A long water whip emerged from the cloud and struck the demon fast multiple times. The cloud cleared up to reveal Juvia still unharmed and recalled the water whip back to her where it transformed back into her hand. "You should know by now; your attacks won't affect Juvia."

Sklade growled deeply in defiance at that. "We'll see about that."

Erza scoured the battlefield looking for her friends. "It seems like that shockwave separated us all." She was about to go look for the others when she saw off the corner of her eye, she noticed a massive white fist coming toward her. She summoned her sword and blocked the attack but it pushed her away. She stopped and saw who or rather what attacked her; a giant dog-like creature with an obese torso with giant arms. It looked massively different but she recognized it

"Good job, Koro. You found one."

Erza saw a person walk up to the dog creature and knew her as well. "She's one of the people Wendy encountered."

Seryu stood next to Koro and smiled maliciously at Erza. "In the name of absolute justice, I will see that your evil is eliminated!"

Erza had a puzzled expression when she heard the other girl's words. "What evil is she talking about?"

Seryu set her right arm to the side and Koro opened its jaw wide open before chomping on it and removing itself to reveal her arm became a sword. "Now, Koro, let's attack her together!" Koro roared before it rushed at Erza. It was right above her and was going to attack with its right arm but Erza seemed unconcerned as within the next second, she swung her sword at the Imperial Arms and cut it in half with ease. Seryu was bewildered seeing her Imperial Arms so easily cut apart and Erza went after her next. She headed toward the other girl and once she was close enough, she swung her sword at her enemy. Seryu luckily put her sword arm up and blocked the attack but it still sent her away. Erza didn't let up on her attack and immediately chased after her enemy for another attack.

Seryu saw Erza's next attack coming and couldn't defend herself a second time. She braced herself to take the attack. "YOU WILL NOT HURT HER!"

Like a flash of lightning, a huge figure rushed pasted Seryu and blocked Erza's attack and, managed to push her back. Erza slid back through the ground and saw who it was that protected Seryu. "That's..."

Seryu's eyes glowed as soon as she saw the being who protected her. "Syka!"

Syka let out a threatening growl at Erza before turning to Seryu. "Never again. I will never leave your side again."

"Syka..." Both of them looked at each other with loving eyes.

As Erza was witnessing this, she was quite perplexed. "What am I looking at?" For some reason, she was slightly jealous and thought of Jellal. "Why am I suddenly thinking about this?"

Syka turned her attention to Erza and rage burned within her. "Fairy Tail! For laying Tartaros to ruin and for attacking the love of my life, I will put an end to you!"

"She's your lover!?" Erza certainly wasn't expecting to hear that from a demon of Tartaros.

After hearing that declaration, Seryu's morale shot through the roof. "Allow me to help you." She pointed her finger at their enemy. "Now in the name of Absolute Justice and true love, we will end you here and now! Koro!" Erza saw Koro drop from above next to Seryu and figured it already regenerated from her previous attack. "USE YOUR TRUMP CARD!"

Koro's fur quickly turned a deep blood red as it grew larger and bulkier. When it fully became a terrifying beast, it let out an ear-piercingly loud roar. Erza tried to cover her ears but it proved futile while enduring the force of Koro's roar while the ground around her was being torn asunder. Syka took this as a chance to attack Erza and pointed both her arms at her while the spikes protruding from her arms glowed purple. "Venom Swarm!" She unleashed multiple stingers from her spikes at Erza. Erza saw the attack coming and jumped out into the air to avoid the attacks.

Erza quickly requiped into her Heaven's Wheel Arm and summoned two swords to wield in both hands and multiple swords circling her. "Circle Sword!" She sent her swords at her enemies but Koro moved in front and crossed its arms to take the attack. The swords struck Koro and were embedded in it but it was still standing and unaffected.

Syka jump into the air toward Erza with the spike protruding out of her right arm glowing a deep purple and swung her arm at her enemy. Erza swung both swords in retaliation and the two attacks struck one another and a powerful shockwave erupted from the clash. The two attacks eventually repelled each other and were pushed back. Syka landed on the ground as did Erza. Syka was far from done and Seryu was anxious to continue and couldn't wait to see Koro rip their enemy to shreds. For Erza, going up against a former Tartaros demon and a monstrous dog, she foresaw a difficult fight ahead.

Elfman groaned in pain as he was recovering from Stylish's attack. Once he stood up, he looked around to see if anyone was nearby. "Where's Mira and Lisanna? Are they okay?"

"Aw, boo. This sucks." Elfman turned around to see Cosmina walking toward him and smiling. "I wanted to fight that shirtless hunk but instead I get a big dumb ugly gorilla."

The insult didn't affect Elfman but he was still going to fight her. "This gorilla is going to show how much a man he is!" He charged straight at Cosmina. "Full Body Take Over!" His body glowed and became much larger and the glow went away. "Beast Soul!" Once he was near enough, he threw a right punch at his enemy.

Cosmina didn't lose her smile and jumped back a large distance away to avoid Elfman's attack. She pulled out her Imperial Arms, Heavy Pressure, and twirled it around before setting it before her mouth. Elfman's eyes widened as he knew what her weapon did from seeing Wendy's memories. Cosmina yelled into the microphone and attacked with a large ultrasonic headed straight toward Elfman. He didn't have time to react to the attack and took the full brunt of it. It blasted a being as large as him away from the witch. The attack ceased and Elfman felt pain radiating throughout his body as he lay on the ground. In pain or not, he had to keep pressing on and slowly stood up. A feat that impressed Cosmina. "Wow, I'm surprised you're still alive. Your bones should've shattered into pieces after taking one attack."

Elfman scoffed at the comment. "It'll...take more than that to take me down."

Cosmina giggled playfully. "Be careful what you wish for because you'll start wishing the first attack did kill you."

"Dad, Wakaba, are you okay?"

Macao groaned in pain as he and Wakaba stood up. "Yeah, I'm fine. Though, I don't think we take another hit like that."

Wakaba looked over in the giant's direction and saw Stylish still attacking the other members far away from them. "How are we supposed to beat something like that?"

"Hey! You guys okay!?" Romeo and the others looked over to where they heard the familiar voice and saw Bisca, Alzack, and Asuka heading their way.

"Yeah, we're fine," Macao replied. "How are you holding up?"

"Papa protected me when that big monster attacked," Asuka spoke. Alzack couldn't help but chuckle as he patted his daughter's head.

This moment of peace was interrupted when they heard a disgusting voice with an unsettling sweetness to it.

"Well, well, look what we have here." Macao and the others turned to where they heard the voice and saw Champ standing not too far off from where they were from. The clown had a creepy smile on him and the same could be said of how he was looking at Asuka and Romeo "I've finally found you, my precious little angels." Asuka ran behind her father and peeked from the side looking scared of the clown. Romeo couldn't help but feel a little unnerved seeing him right in front.

Bisca and Alzak brought out their guns and aimed them at Champ. "I know you. You're that clown Wendy fought!"

"You're not laying a finger on our daughter."

Macao and Wakaba were also ready to fight against Champ. "Romeo, take Asuka and get as far away as you can!"

Romeo obviously protested against his father's orders. "But, dad-"

"Go, now!" Macao shouted.

Wakaba only smirked at their enemy. "Don't worry. You can leave this guy to us."

Romeo hated this but he reluctantly obliged. "Okay then." He grabbed Asuka's hands and they both ran away.

While running, Asuka looked back briefly at her parents. "Momma...papa..." She was confident her parents would win because they were the strongest people to her.

A small purple flame ignited from Macao's right index and middle fingers. "Alright, pal. You're not laying a finger on our kids and we'll make sure you don't!"

Champ's face darkened and let out a low, angry growl. "Parents. I hate parents! I hate them just as much as I hate that Teacher bastard!" He brought out his Imperial Arms, Big Leaguer. "You won't get in the way between me and my precious angels!" He wound up his right arm and threw one of the orbs at them. "Flame Orb!" The orb ignited into a powerful fireball and quickly approached Macao and the others.

"Don't let that thing hit you! Spread out!"

Macao and Wakaba jumped to the right side while Bisca and Alzack jumped to the left. The fireball struck the spot where they previously stood and a wide fire burst out upon contact. Bisca and Alzack aimed their guns at their enemy. "Blast Bullet!" They shot multiple blue-colored flame bullets at the clown.

Meanwhile, Macao and Wakaba quickly followed. "Purple Rain!"

"Smoke Crush!"

Bullets, multiple flames, and smoke fists were all headed toward Champ at the same time. All the attacks stuck him at once and a large smoke cloud appeared. "Ha! How do you like that, ya clown bastard!?" Macao shouted.

However, their victory was short-lived when the smoke was blown away by the wind and they all saw Champ unharmed as all six of his orbs spun quickly in a circle as a sort of protective barrier. His head was lowered and let out a low, enraged growl. "That's it. Now I'm mad!" He raised his head to reveal he had a furious expression and grabbed one of the orbs before tossing it right above his enemies. "Lightning Orb!" Once the orb was above Bisca and the others, it transformed into a powerful lightning bolt that powerfully struck Bisca and the others as they screamed and yelled in pain. Champ wasn't done yet as he threw another orb at them. "Storm Orb!" When the next orb reached the other group, it became a large tornado and swept them all up into the air while continuing to scream. He grabbed yet another orb and threw it while his enemies were still in the air. "Explosion Orb!" Once the orb was close enough, it erupted into a powerful explosion.

Romeo heard the explosion and turned around to see it happen. He became increasingly worried about his father. "Dad! Wakaba!"

Asuka was also worried about her parents. "Momma...Papa..."

The four grown-ups fell out of the smoke cloud the explosions left behind and crashed to the ground. They've all taken serious damage from Champ's attacks and various groans of pain could be heard. Macao and Wakaba took on more damage than Bisca and Alzack due to them being older. As they tried to recover as quickly as they could, they saw Champ take one step forward and had a dark and ominous expression as all six orbs spun in front of him. "I'll make sure nothing will stop me from getting to my precious angels. I'll kill you all!"

"Sister, are you okay?"

Yukino heard Sorano groan as they both stood up. "I keep telling you I'm not your sister but I"m fine, thank you for asking. So, where are we?"

Yukino didn't know the answer to that but it seemed like they were separated from everyone else. Before she could respond, the sisters heard a voice. "Now this is what I'm talking about." Both sisters saw Enshin approaching them with a wicked smile. He stopped walking but kept his smile. "It must be my lucky day. I'm going to have fun breaking you two."

Already Sorano felt unnerving chills going down her spine. "Who is that guy? He's giving me the creeps."

Yukino brought out one of her golden gate keys. "Sister, be ready."

Enshin drew out his Imperial Arms, Shamshir, and cackled evilly. "I'll make you scream like whores in heat!" He swung his sword in the air a couple of times and multiple air blades came out from it as they were heading toward the sisters.

"MOVE!"

Yukino and Sorano went separate ways to avoid the attacks. As soon as they missed their targets, the younger sister raised her gate key to the sky. "Open, Gate of the Paired Fish!" A bright, golden light flashed from the key and two giant elongated fish of black and white color appeared from behind her. "Pisces!"

Sorano brought two gold coins and placed them on her chest. The coins glowed brightly and she tossed them into the air. "Hammer Angel!" From out of the bright light emerged a tall, muscular, four-armed man with a beard and a pair of wings. It wore a fur-like toga and wielded a huge golden hammer in its two right arms.

Yukino was astounded seeing her sister's magic for the first time. "Is this...my sister's magic?"

Enshin just looked at the angel summoning with a puzzled expression. "What in the hell is that thing supposed to be?"

Yukino threw her arm forward. "Pisces, go!"

"Hammer Angel, flatten him!"

Pisces headed straight at the former pirate while the Hammer Angel lifted its hammer and took aim at him before swinging down. Despite facing three attacks at once, Enshin didn't lose his smile and even laugh. "I don't think so!" He spun around rapidly in a circle and slashed the air around him to create a protective sphere. "Full-Moon Wheel!" Both Pisces' attack and the Hammer Angel's struck the sphere and were immediately knocked back.

Both sisters didn't expect such a thing to happen.

"What?!"

"He deflected their attacks?"

Enshin stopped spinning and cackled. "Thanks to that red-headed wench, she gave Shamshir a hell of an upgrade. I don't know what she did but I can use its abilities to the fullest even during the day. That's not all she did, though." He quickly spun his entire body and multiple large air slashes came out from him. "Multi-Pronged Attack!" These air slashes scattered throughout the area and several struck both Pisces and the Hammer Angel down. Some of them even struck Sorano and Yukino as the attacks left several cuts on their bodies. They were all blasted away to the ground and Sorano's Hammer Angel vanished. Enshin stopped spinning and loved the work he'd done. "Oh, I'm not done with you two yet. I'll make sure to have as much fun with you two whores as long as I want!"

In another part of the battlefield, Cana was already facing their opponent. One she wasn't too happy to see. Syura cackled at her while giving her a pleasing twisted look. "Oh, I'm going to enjoy breaking you!"

"Oh, great. It's this guy." Cana brought two of her cards. She wasn't thrilled seeing Syura considering what she and the other guild members saw in Wendy's memories. However, this also proved a good opportunity to make him pay for what he did to her and the other women he'd done to.

Syura grinned maliciously at Cana. "What do to do, what to do? So many things to try and yet so little time."

Cana wanted to end this fight quickly so she could start looking for Gildarts. "Heaven and Gale!" She waved the two cards she had in front of her. "Wind Edge!" A stream of powerful wind came from her cards and was headed straight for Syura. He just grinned and vanished using his Imperial Arms, Shambala, before the attack could hit him. He then reappeared in front of Cana and delivered a double palm strike right at her midsection. The attack generated a shockwave that sent pain throughout her body before flying away from him.

Cana crashed through the ground until she came to a complete stop and felt pain strongly radiating through her entire body. "Damn, what did he do?" She recovered and stood up only to see Syura reappear in front of her again and tried another attack. This time, she quickly avoided the attack and pulled out three cards. "Heaven, Reverse Death, and Mountain!" She waved the three cards across in front of her. "Summoned Lightning!" She unleashed several green lightning bolts at him.

Syura didn't look troubled at all as he vanished once again and reappeared behind Cana. Before she could react, he delivered a devastatingly powerful punch right to her back. She was sent flying again but Syura was only beginning. He vanished once more and reappeared in front to deliver a powerful elbow attack to her midsection. She let out a pained cough before he delivered a series of strong attacks all over her body. He laughed manically while doing so and teleported around Cana while continuing his assault. The final attack was him delivering a punch at Cana's chest and knocked down to the ground. Syura thought he'd finally won until he saw her stand up again even after taking all those attacks. "My, aren't you a stubborn little bitch. I hate resilient women."

Despite her injuries, Cana laughed at him. "And I hate sexist pigs like you. You're lucky Gildarts isn't around to see me like this. Otherwise, you wouldn't be standing right now."

Syura just scoffed at Cana's words. "Am I supposed to care who that is? All I know is that once I'm finished with you, I'm going to enjoy every minute of toying with your body until you're dead!" His threat didn't seem to scare Cana as she continued to look at him definitely and he hated that. "I'll teach you not to disrespect me! I'm the Prime Minister's son!" He didn't bother using his Imperial Arms this time and rushed at Cana. Once he was near, he attempted to punch her once more until he was punched instead from the left side and was sent hurdling away from Cana.

Cana saw strands of long white hair and it took a few seconds to realize who it was that saved her. "Mira..."

Mirajane turned to her friend and smiled at her. "Cana, are you okay?"

Cana smiled back at her friend. "A little sore around my body but nothing some good booze can't fix." Her expression turned more serious. "Though, you should be careful when fighting this guy."

Before Mirajane could speak, they both heard Syura yell rather angrily. "YOU LITTLE BITCH!" Both women turned to where he was and he was visibly furious. "HOW DARE YOU HIT ME; YOU DAMN WHORE!"

Cana couldn't help but snicker a little at Syura's outburst. "What's wrong, little man," She emphasized on "little" "You can dish out the pain but you can't take it?" That comment seemed to infuriate him further.

"Cana..." Cana turned her attention to Mirajane. "Leave this guy to me. I'll make him pay for what he did to you." Cana's smile widened as she already knew how this fight will end.

In another part of the battlefield, Akame was watching Stylish far from where she was. She was trying to gauge the severity of the situation she and everyone else was in. "Doctor Stylish was difficult enough to kill the first time. If I can get over to him..." Her thoughts were interrupted as she sensed danger quickly approaching her and turned around while drawing out Murasame. Sure enough, her sword clashed with another sword, and saw an all too familiar face. "Izou..."

Izou lightly chuckled at Akame. "Hello, Akame." They both disengaged from each other and stood several feet away from each other. Izou's expression became grievous toward Akame. "This time, I shall not underestimate you and you will pay for disrespecting my Kosetsu."

Akame could really care less about Izou's feelings from their last bout. "You can try but it'll end the same as last time."

"We'll see." Both stared each other down for several seconds before Akame dashed toward him. As soon as she was near enough, Izou vanished in front of her eyes and that surprised her. On instinct, she jumped and did a front flip while managing to avoid Izou's downward slash attack from behind. As soon as she landed on the ground, she quickly turned around and put Murasame up as she blocked Izou's next attack from the side. They were locked in another stalemate for a few seconds until Akame disappeared from his sight. Thanks to his keen insight, Izou looked down to a dark spot in the ground where his enemy once stood.

"Death Twister!"

Izou jumped back just before Akame came out of her shadow spinning around with Murasame into the air. Once she stopped, he took this as an opportunity to retaliate and jumped right toward her. When he was near, he swung his sword at Akame and she swung Murasame back. Their swords clashed with one another and continued to do so several times over as they both ascended higher into the air. Izou got the last hit in as he put all his strength into his next attack and sent Akame hurdling back to the ground. Akame crashed but recovered quickly just in time to see Izou closing in on her fast. Izou yelled as he swung his sword overhead and the sword struck the ground. At that moment, a powerful slash ripped through the ground asunder. The attack traveled far until it vanished, leaving a trail of destruction behind and Akame was nowhere to be seen. Yet, Izou didn't feel like he obtained a victory. No, he knew it'd take more than that to kill Akame and he was right. He turned around and blocked Akame's surprise attack and pushed her back. They were back right where they started. "I see you've gotten stronger but it matters not. In the end, Kosetsu will feed upon your blood."

"Ahh, this sucks!" Leone ruffled her hair vigorously while glaring at Doctor Stylish while Carla was with her. "As if dealing with Stylish isn't bad enough, we're all separated! Not to mention..." She recalled how quickly Esdeath took Wendy away from her and everyone else. "I gotta get to Wendy and fast. If Esdeath did get enchanted like the rest, she's going to have a hell of a fight." She thought back to the two times where Wendy almost died; back when she had her final showdown with Esdeath back in the Captial and at the end of the Battle of Hargeon. "I've almost lost her twice and there's no way in hell I'm going to let a third time happen. Thankfully, I can still track down her scent and follow that and in the direction, they went."

Carla nodded in agreement. "That's good to know but what are we going to do about the giant?"

Leone groaned as she tried to think of a solution. "Well, Akame was the one who killed him and it took a team effort to do it. If Mest was still around, he could teleport her to where he is and end it there but I don't know where he is or Akame. We'll just have to believe the others will take him down while we're off going after Wendy." It wasn't much of a plan but Carla did agree. The longer they stay, the less time they have to save Wendy.

"There you are, you fucking animal woman!"

Leone and Carla turned around to see Dorothea and Suzuka together and Dorothea was looking very furious at the other blonde. She pointed her finger at her. "It's time for you to pay for dropping that fucking boulder on me!"

Leone was less than enthusiastic about seeing her again and at the worst time too. "Oh, it's you again. Can't you be a pain in the ass somewhere else? I got somewhere to go and fast."

Dorothea could care less about Leone's plans. "Well, too bad. I want to get my revenge on you!" There was something else she wanted to do but Esdeath took that away from her. "And I wanted to drink that brat's blood again but Esdeath just had to snatch her away. Ah, I need to taste it again to feel alive."

Suzuka raised her hand to get Leone's attention. "And I'm here because we never did get to our fight, did we?" She was a little disappointed that pink haired woman wasn't around because she would've loved having her revenge on her. But for now, she'd settle for Leone.

Leone glanced back at Carla as she fully knew these two opponents were way out of her league. "Carla, get as far away from here as you can. Got it?"

Carla nodded as she fully understood the situation. "Very well. Please watch out." She began to fly away from the upcoming battlefield.

Suzuka smiled as she saw the Exceed fly away. "And where do you think you're going?" She vanished instantly. She was already halfway to Carla when she felt a strong punch delivered to the right side of her face and was immediately knocked back down to the ground.

Leone landed back on the ground and narrowed her eyes at Suzuka. "You're not laying a hand on my friend! You're fighting me!"

Suzuka shuttered in delight as she relished feeling the pain from Leone's surprise attack. "Ah, yes. That was so good." She stood up while having a very pleased expression. "I suppose we can play with you for a while." She vanished again and Leone's senses instantly kicked in. She moved to the right and avoided Suzuka's forward piercing right-hand thrust. In the next moment, Leone delivered a strong left kick right at her enemy's midsection and sent her away. Suzuka crashed back into the ground but she didn't seem to mind as she was once again loving the pain she was feeling.

As soon as she was done with Suzuka, Leone noticed Dorothea attacking her from the side at the last moment. She jumped out of the way and the alchemist struck the spot Leone was previously standing. Her attack caused a giant crater to form and she couldn't be happier to avoid the attack. "Shit. The last thing this pipsqueak needed was an attack boost." She rushed forward right at the alchemist.

A move Dorothea thought was asinine. "You still haven't learned, you stupid animal!?"

Once Leone was near enough, she threw a forward punch and Dorothea held her right hand in front to catch the attack. But she didn't as Leone stopped her attack right in front of her enemy's hand. The alchemist was caught off guard while Leone smiled. She retracted her fist and immediately closed the distance between her and Dorothea. Leone delivered a powerful blow with her right knee at the alchemist's midsection.

Dorothea gasped out in pain but she wasn't going down without a fight. Within a moment, she grabbed Leone's arms tightly so she wouldn't separate from her and keep her locked. "HA! You think you can beat me that easy?! Not a chance, you stupid animal! It's over for you!" She neared her mouth to Leone's neck and bit into it. Only for her Imperial Arms to break against something hard which surprised her. She quickly discovered that her Imperial Arms, Absordex, broke as soon as she discovered what she bit into wasn't Leone's flesh but something hard and scaly. She separated her mouth from the neck and yelled out in pain.

Leone grinned as she knew her opponent's dire mistake. At the last second, she summoned the scales of the Aggorian Beast to cover her neck. She wasn't going to let the same thing happen twice to her. "Ha! You think I'd fall for the same trick twice? Guess again, ya old hag!" She pulled her head back and slammed it forward against Dorothea's. The headbutt caused the alchemist to let go of the other woman and tumbled to the ground. She looked up to see Leone cracking her knuckles while looking down at her with a threatening look in her eye. "I may not have a boulder to crush you again but I'll settle beating you to a bloody pulp." Before she could attack, an elongated hand reached out to Dorothea and grabbed the back of her clothes before retracting itself back to Suzuka.

Dorothea breathed out a sigh of relief. "Thanks for the save."

Suzuka gave her ally a reassuring smile "No problem. Now then..." She and Dorothea looked back at Leone. "How about we begin the second round?"

"Are you okay, Chelsea?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just hate getting tossed like a rag doll." After Stylish's attack, Chelsea and Lisanna were separated from the rest guild and others. Though, if Chelsea had to be honest, it wasn't all that bad considering she was with Lisanna again. "I have to say, this isn't quite the reunion I expected."

Lisanna couldn't help but laugh a little at Chelsea's joke. The good mood was ruined when she saw someone approach them. "Chelsea..." Chelsea looked in the direction Lisanna was looking and both girls immediately stood up. They finally saw who was walking toward them and Chelsea's eyes widened when she saw who it was. Lisanna recognized him as well through seeing Wendy's memories. "Isn't that..."

"Bols..."

Bols stood across from the two girls and he focused on Chelsea primarily. "Hello there. It's been a long time, hasn't it?"

Gildarts couldn't help but be impressed by the size of the giant that attacked him and the rest of the guild. "Now, that's a big guy. I wonder where he came from? I guess I can say the same about you, huh?" He turned around to see Budo leering at him with his arms crossed standing a considerable distance away from him. "Mind telling me your name, pal?"

Budo narrowed his eyes at Gildarts. "Budo. And what is yours?"

"Gildarts Clive." Gildarts studied his opponent a little more closely. "He's the same as God Serena and that woman from before but I'm also sensing some majorly powerful magic from him. I'm guessing he's enchanted." He smiled at the prospect. "He should be more fun to fight."

Likewise, Budo was studying Gildarts as well. This man. He appears to be stronger than the rest. Perhaps even stronger than the man who defeated me. Moreover..." He saw that his opponent had a metal prosthetic arm. Stronger or not, he was more than glad to accept the challenge. The two men stared each other down until Budo made the first move. He slammed his fist into the ground and electricity strongly discharged from his Imperial Arms, Adramelech, out from the ground. "Lightning Crash!" The lightning bolt swiftly traveled from Budo over to where Gildarts was standing.

Gildarts didn't move nor try to avoid the incoming attack. Instead, he pulled back his right arm and thrust it forward. "All Crush!" He sent an energy blast at the lightning and once it collided with the other attack, it immediately dissembled. Not soon after Budo's attack was crushed, the Great General himself was already closing in on him. Once he was near enough, he threw a mighty right punch straight at the right side of Gildart's face. The attack was powerful enough to blow away any opponent but Gildarts didn't budge at all. In fact, he just grinned. "Not a bad punch. Let me show you mine!" Gildarts pulled his left arm back and delivered a more powerful punch right at Budo's midsection. This attack was strong enough to push Budo back while sliding across the ground away from him. Once he stopped, he groaned in pain and his thoughts about the other man were right. He was indeed strong. "Come on. I know that's not all you got."

Budo was more than happy to oblige and give Gildarts a worthy challenge. "Fine then. I will show you the might of Great General Budo of the Empire!" He took one mighty stomp forward and his boot was deeply into the ground while he slammed his two fists together. Electricity once again discharged strongly from his Imperial Arms. Storm clouds were forming over them and giant multiple lightning bolts pieced through the ground. "ADVENT OF THE THUNDER EMPEROR!" More lightning bolts struck the battlefield and razed it.

Several of them struck Gildarts at once. However, they all proved to be ineffective as he used his Crush magic on the lightning and remained unscathed. Still, he couldn't help but be a little impressed. "Not a bad attack you got ther-" He quickly noticed that Budo was standing in front of him.

The next thing Gildarts noticed was Budo standing next to him and immediately grabbed his metal arm. "It's foolish of you to fight me with a metal arm." Before Gildarts could do anything, Budo unleashed another powerful lightning bolt and it enveloped them both as it shot up into the sky. This time, Gildarts did feel pain as he felt the electricity coursing through his body and thoroughly shocking him. The lightning bolt vanished and Budo had done the impossible; having Gildarts on one knee. He let go of his arm and delivered another powerful punch to the side of Gidlarts's face. This time, the punch sent him away from the Great General and crashed onto the ground. "Take pride in that strength you have. For if it were any other human, they wouldn't have survived." Gildarts managed to stand up but he was still feeling numb from Budo's previous attack and was breathing heavily. "I will make sure this'll be the last time you'll stand."

"You okay, Happy?"

"I'm fine, Natsu." Both Happy and Natsu looked around the area they were currently located after being separated from everyone else. "Where do you think everyone else went?"

Natsu didn't know but he wasn't worried. "Don't know but I know we'll all meet up eventually and then we'll take down Zeref and save the First Master!" He smiled brightly at his friend.

Happy smiled back and nodded. Sometimes, in situations like these, he really did appreciate Natsu's optimism.

Then Natsu's smile went away and his eyes narrowed as he jumped back and avoided a beam of dark energy while Happy screamed out of surprise. He turned to the direction where the attack came from and saw who it was that attacked them. "Impressive. You were able to dodge my attack even though you couldn't hear it."

Happy recognized the person who attacked them. "Natsu, that's-"

"One of the Tartaros demons Wendy fought."

Beatrice didn't show it but she was seething with anger upon looking at Natsu. "Natsu Dragneel, the Salamander! For the crime of murdering our king, Mard Geer, your penance is your death!" She raised her right arm above her. "Silent Sky!" Multiple columns of dark energy erupted from the ground all around Natsu. He evaded the first attack and dashed to Beatrice while avoiding the rest.

Once Natsu was near, he pulled back his right arm and the fire ignited around his fist before throwing it forward. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Flames erupted from his fist and the fire reached a wide range covering everything within its vicinity. The flames died out and he didn't see his enemy in front of him.

That is until Natsu sensed something from behind and turned around to see Beatrice was behind him. She had her hand in front of his chest and smiled coyly at him. "Silent Pulse!" A strong pulse attack with no sound erupted from her palm and went through his body. The attack blasted him away, but she wasn't done with him yet. She calmly raised her hand in front of her and aimed at the fire dragon slayer. "Silent Boom!" She snapped her fingers and delivered a powerful silent sonic boom at full force from where Natsu currently was. He screamed but it couldn't be heard.

Natsu was temporarily down but he was far from out. He quickly recovered and took in a deep breath. "Fire Dragon's Roar!" He unleashed a powerful stream of fire right at the demon and it was quickly approaching her. Beatrice remained calm as she snapped her fingers again and obliterated his attack with her Silent Boom attack. Since that attack didn't work, Natsu leaned forward and put his right hand on the ground while the fire enveloped his body. He launched himself right at Beatrice. "Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!"

Again, Beatrice remained still as she saw Natsu's attack approaching her. She took a steady breath and at the last second, she jumped over his attack and at the same time, pointed both of her hands below him. A large dark orb formed in the center and aimed at the fire dragon slayer. "SILENT OBLITERATION!" She pulled her hands apart and launched the dark orb point black at Natsu. The attack struck Natsu and a massively large, black sphere appeared and enveloped him while Beatrice landed on the ground. When she turned around, the sphere faded, and saw Natsu laying on the ground.

Happy became very worried for his friend. "NATSU!"

Beatrice looked down at Natsu and saw that he didn't move. "This time, I'll make sure you won't survive." She made several gestures in the air and when she stopped, a large magic circle appeared in front of her hand.

Happy's eyes widened with fear as he recognized that magic circle. "IS THAT AN ABYSS BREAK?!"

"Now, die, SALAMANDER!" Before Beatrice could unleash her attack upon Natsu, he instantly got up and tightly grabbed her face with his right hand and his left on his right shoulder.

"Fire Dragon's Grip Strike!" Fire erupted from Natsu's hand and the demon was struck point blank and her whole body was enveloped by the raging flames before they exploded. Beatrice was blasted away from the fire dragon slayer as he let out a small chuckle. "There. I finally got a hit on ya." Once again, Happy was relieved to see his best friend was still okay after taking that last attack.

Beatrice groaned in pain but she refused to be beaten. She stood up after taking Natsu's attack and had a fiercer look of determination in her eye. "You haven't won yet. I will not rest until I eliminate you from this world and finally avenge my king!"
