Hello my ever lovely peeps!
So yeah, not a chapter, as it is an announcement for a new story and one that ties into the Fate-series long time tradition of different timelines. Been working on a little pet project, one i have no doubt you've all seen before:
When Worlds Collide.
Something i have been hammering away at for a while now but i just can't seem to figure out a good way to start it. Till now, as the answer was in front of my face, the entire time. Makes me feel kinda stupid, when i had the answer right here, especially with all the time i wasted on trying to figure out how to start this up.
So, i'll be starting the story off after the battle of New York and yes, i might be a couple of spoilers for the battle and by that extension, Loki's ally. But i'm pretty sure you've all figured out who it is and i don't think you'll be too surprised at who it is. So, i don't think i'll make a speech for this story and if i do, the topic will more likely be about the multiverse theory and what not. So it'll be the three way crossover between:
Fate Grand Oder/Marvel and DC.
Ya know, how there are an infinite number of realities and how one difference can change everything.
So, since some might be a bit disappointed that this isn't a chapter, here's a preview:
Preview: Clam Before The Storm
SLENCH
Loki barely had time to move or even think, as Mordred's blade sliced his upper body apart, letting blood spill out, all over the floor.
"COUGH, COUGH...Damnit...it wasn't suppose to end thhhhiiissssss wwwaaaayyyy."
THUMP
Loki fell to the ground, dead.
Snort.
"Well now, THAT was disappointing."
Mordred said, letting Clarent rest on her shoulder. Thor said nothing, as the sheer sadness in his eyes was easy for all to see.
"Looks like he didn't considered us a real threat and let his guard down."
Xero said, shaking his head,"Sigh...What a shame."
Tomoe blinked a couple of times, as she lowered her weapon and looked at her master/husband and said,"Yeah but wasn't he suppose to be like, the last boss or something?"
Xero nodded, making the demon Archer sigh again,"Man this is Halo 2 all over again."
"Halo 2? I do not understand, what is that?"
Thor asked, as Tomoe looked at the blonde thunder god and said,"It's...GAH, never mind."
"Lets move. We have to shut that portal down."
Xero said, as his Servants nodded with Thor. But before the group could make for the roof, Thor froze, as Gawain appeared in front of his master, sword draw and
CLUNG
Sliced "Loki" apart, making "him" vanish. Something that caused Xero to sigh, as he looked over his shoulder and said,"I'd advised against those childish pranks. You're just wasting energy."
The Loki on the floor vanished, as the real Loki appeared, very much alive and smirking,"Truly, you mortals are easy to fool. I'm only having a bit of fun before i take all you so called "Avengers" out and take over this world."
"Take us out huh?"
Mordred snarled, raising her blade, angry boiling through her veins at the god attacking her "Mother" in such a cowardly way,"You and what army?"
Rather then answer, Loki merely smirked, as they all heard a loud
BOOM
The group looked outside the window and up at the roof, to see an alien army charging through the hole in the sky.
"Oh...that army."
Mordred muttered a little to herself, as Bedivere spoke for the first time, in a very sassy manner,"You had to ask huh?"
"Oh shut up!"
