WrestleMania was a bur for everyone involved. New champs were crowned, and feuds were ended. New hatred was established and everyone was effected.

Emylee stood on the balcony waiting for Dwayne to show up. Sunglasses on her face, and taking in the sunshine that Los Angeles had to offer that time of year. It was ironic they were right back in the same city they started the world wind affair in.

She closed her eyes, and just took the fresh air in, and enjoyed to peace and quiet of it all, before tonight. She was Smackdown Women's Champ. She wasn't ready to let that go yet, but knew the time would come eventually.

~Last Night~

"Emylee. I understand if you want one last run, I'll drop it back to you, just tell me what you want to do", Amy(Lita) told her.

"I got a family, and Dave is going to drop the belt tonight".

"What do you want?"

"I want my family, Dave, and my career".

"Then you need to make sure you play that fine line. As much as you bitched, moaned, left, and did what you did, you are in the hot seat now. Tell me, what do you want to do?"

"I want my championship back".

"Then lets out shine everyone tonight, remember what we planned. Vince said it was ok".

She grinned and nodded. Entering that ring, the excitement came back, because it wasn't leaked for her to come back, so it was a surprise for the universe. She ran into the ring, wrestling Lita and Stacey. The crowd went nuts, and she got her belt back. That rush she needed was back. It was being a star.

That's what confused her. Dave was ok with it, and celebrated her new win, but as much as complained about him being gone, now her she was going to be away from her babies, and love of her life because of the decision she made in five minutes.

"You look lovely as always", Dwayne said breaking her thoughts.

"Hey".

"Why do you have the long face? You won last night. You are on top again. You are back with Dave, and your babies are altogether. That's what you wanted right?"

"Honestly, I don't know what I want anymore. I mean I was out there in that ring, and it was a blur. It was awesome. Phenomenal, and I love Dave….."

"But…"

"I'm questioning everything. He's talking marriage, and even after kids, and everything, I don't think I'm ready for it all yet".

"Does he know this?"

"No, and I'm afraid to tell him. I ran from him the last time things got shitty. I want to do things differently this time".

"Ok that's a good start. Talk to him, you don't want to end up like me", he chuckled.

"What do you mean", she looked up at him.

"Fantasizing about a girl I can't have".

She blushed at his statement. He brush her loose hair out her face. He wanted a good look at her. 48 hours of no contact with her was killing him. They at least had texting and jokes they shared. This nothing rule was too much, and he didn't know if he could be like Shane. He definitely wasn't going to be like Paul's dumbass. That was too much work.

"Could we go back?" she asked.

"To?" he answered now rubbing her shoulders

"Friends silly. Can we do that?"

"You know I do what I want. Can you do it, and more importantly can your baby daddy handle it?"

"I know I can, and don't worry about him. We are talking about you and me".

"Don't play coy with me Em. We both know Dave doesn't like me very much right now".

"You two need to work it out. Talk tonight after the show".

"Fine, if he wants to talk, I'll talk. I'll also whip his ass if needed".

"How about no, and talk. Keep a look out over your text. I gotta go. Tomorrow, lunch ok?"

"Ok sexy mama", he grinned.

"Really?" she grinned.

That grin was why he said it. Even if it meant he would die today for saying it, he couldn't get enough of her grin and talking to her. He had to let go. Pulling out his phone, he sent her a text as she was walking to her car.

"When he fucks up, you know where to find me champ".

She shook her head as she headed to her apartment for the longest talk she was going to have as of yet.

Trish was enjoying the fact she retired from the ring. She looked at her belly, and was ready for her new role; mommy.

John walked into his locker room, to find his glowing wife. He was ready for his kids too. It was nice to remove himself from the champ circle to take a break to get ready for the arrival of these two.

"Hey Mama'.

"Hey Cena. How is the former US Champ doing?"

"I'm good, what about you? Contractions yet?"

"Nope, which I'm not happy about actually. I'm ready to get this show on the road".

He chuckled at her lack of patience. They tried everything. Running, sex, and spicy foods. Nothing yet. John's mom joked 'these babies are definitely yours, stubborn as hell'.

"Just worried that starting this championship road will take me away from you three too much that's all".

"We talked about this remember? We are going to be fine. Once the kids are a bit older, we can travel with you".

"Or….."

"Or?"

"Come outside with me".

"What are you up too?"

They walked outside the arena. He told her he was working out, and she went ahead to the arena with Stephanie and Randy in case she went into labor early. He told Dave and Randy what he was doing. He purchased a bus for the four of them. They could travel together with their kids. Hotels were too much for families, and he didn't want to be away from his kids. He understood what Dave was talking about now.

It shined in the parking lot. It was simple on the outside. Black and silver, but the inside. It was loaded with everything a family would need to travel. Entertainment was top of the line, and the driver was standing outside on his phone when he took outside to surprise her.

"Whose bus is that?"

"Ours. Surprise?"

"Cena, you cease to amaze me".

They went to check out the bus, while the driver nodded to the couple. Maybe now she could relax, and so could he.

"He's not going to leave you Em, why do you think he will?"

"Steph, I got a feeling he's going to leave".

"Why what aren't you saying?"

"I'm at the door, I'll call you later".

She walked into the room to see the kids taking a nap, and Dave reading on the couch. He was going over the protocol of getting his business started. He only travelled once a week, so now he has the down time to get his gym started.

"How did it go?" he said removing his glasses.

"Fine, and you should text him".

"I know, he's cool with meeting later?"

"As long as you two aren't being Jackasses, yes".

"I'm good. Truth be told, I wanted to talk to Dana about managing me through this process anyway".

"That's good".

He walked over to her standing at the dresser. She just looked at her belt, still in shock. How could the thoughtful, responsible Emylee Harris just decide something on a whim? She didn't understand it.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I'm good".

"No. Something is bugging you. You have been off since…last night. What happened? You won, so you should be happy".

"I mean I am, but…."

"Em, talk to me. It's me, remember".

She looked up at him. He looked older, but it was her Dave. It dawned on her. Fame takes a toll, but it was a drug she couldn't shake, and it hit her. It was selfish to ask him to drop the belt and walk away, because she couldn't. She also wasn't ready to get married. They had kids, but she wasn't ready. That was a separate discussion.

"You look lost, what going on?"

"I want to apologize. I decided to go after this belt without telling you. Talking to you about this. I asked you to walk away, and did the exact thing I bitched about. I put my career first over this family. I'm really sorry about that".

He grinned at her. He knew she couldn't shake the drug that was called being a champ. Everyone had it, and it was hard to walk away from, ask anyone in the back. Kissing her forehead, she finally let out a breath.

"Is that all? Yeah, you'll have a hectic schedule, but we will make it work. The twins are almost a year old, and Anna is doing great. We are good".

"That's not all..."

"Ok?"

"I can't get married, I need time. I want to be engaged, and I want us, but I can't get married yet".

"I'm not going anywhere Emylee. I want you and only you. I'm too old for bullshit anymore".

"You sure about that, I mean you are approaching the big 5-0, and…."

"And? I'm older, we already established this".

"I need more time".

"Ok. Under one condition".

"Spill".

"You tell me why you need sleeping pills to sleep".

She sat on the couch. She was ready for him to blow a gasket. She wasn't prepared to tell him the truth behind her sleeping pills.
