Dave and Emylee were on the dance floor dancing with each other with no care in the world. Jamaica was just the best solution they needed to it all. Shane owed them this getaway and secret wedding. They cancelled everything and asked Sam and Mary agreed to keep everything secret, as long as when they came back they plan a formal wedding and reception.
"Best idea ever, Daddy".
"Say it one mo time", Dave grinned.
"Really?
"Ok, maybe not right now, but later…"
She giggled as he kissed her neck.
The warmth of the island, and privacy was what they needed.
-24 hours earlier-
Dave and Emylee sat on the couch listening to the yelling match Shane and Stephanie was in. Randy sat with them for so long before he left to check on their kids.
"Your whore of a wife busted in my house! MY HOUSE! Trying to steal my husband! You sure know how to pick em big bro", she said trying to look for a number in her number.
"Don't get mad at me! Your husband kissed my wife! Does that even matter to you, or did he dick you down so hard that common sense is a foreign concept!"
"Fuck you!"
"Enough! You two need to go home to your spouses and figure this shit out. You are disrespecting my house!", Emylee said.
"I fought for you, and you decide to bring all this drama a week before I get married. I know I haven't handled shit the best way I should have as friends, but we are mothers now. We can't keep doing dumb shit", Emylee said walking toward her best friend.
"Oh that's rich coming from the bitch who ran off when her man cheated. I fight for mine", she countered looking her up and down.
"Boss' daughter or not, I'm going to take that as you are just angry, cause I be damned I catch a case on a heffa I just bailed out. Go home and make sure you aren't getting divorce papers. Get the hell out my house", she whispered.
"Gladly", Steph walked off wiping away a tear.
The door slammed, and Emylee had to gather her thoughts before she turned around. What she said was true, but the shit still hurt.
"Shane, I love you like family, but what Steph said was right. Lillian was real foul for all of it. I don't know what you want to do, but like I just said, you gotta figure it out, cause this is just getting old".
"Listen, I know. Steph didn't mean it, and you know that. Give her time, she'll be back to apologize. Again, I'm sorry. I gotta go, Mom and Dad have Jack now, so I got some time to figure out what the next move is. I'll drop off my gift tomorrow", he said standing up to leave.
"Shane, you are still welcome to come to the dinner and wedding", Dave said.
"Eh. I'm not going to be in the best mood either way, and I'm not trying to have drunk mistake wedding sex at your wedding. I'm classier than that. I'll go to a hotel for that", he wryly joked.
He left, and she watched him drive off from the window.
"Elope", they said at the same time.
Stephanie sat in her office just pissed and crying silently. On the fourth round of morning drinking of bourbon, she kept rereading the latest memo she got from Randy. Just reading the memo she was tagged in and was just hurt.
"Dave and Emylee have requested time off to go on their vacation destination wedding. We wish them the best and need to keep this under wraps. Considering other situations, we are STERNLY REQUESTING staff to honor those instructions…"
She called the only person she could think of.
Trish was cleaning up after lunch while John was running around with the kids. It was a nice calm at the house, and she knew what happened. Dave and Emylee text them both after they called, and they didn't answer. In this case Trish understood why they walked away. Since John has been doing more movie work, and she started back to her love of fitness blogging, the drama has stopped.
T: Have you thought about life outside WWE?
E: I'm beginning to. I mean I can have that feeling outside the ring. Maybe TV?
T: Think about it while you two are gone, when you aint fucking
E: I can't stand you. LMAO. Thanks friend.
T: Go relax, I'll deal with Steph and Randy.
"Pick up…pick up", Steph whispered.
"Bitch what is your deal?!", Trish harshly said into the phone.
"Thanks Trish. I was hoping for some sympathy", she swallowed the hot bourbon from her glass.
"Let me understand something. You were right in getting mad at Lillian and Randy. You then get arrested for whooping her ass, a week before your BFFs wedding. The same person who not only bailed you out in so many times you fucked up, but then you cussed her out in her house after she told you to grow the fuck up. Did I miss anything?"
"Bitch, you don't think I don't know what I did? Shane, Randy, Lillian, and I pretty much drove them to elope. I fought so hard to be in her life".
"Listen to what you said. You McMahons are a hot mess. Why do you fight? Emylee wants you, Shane, and Randy in her life. We also need to grow the fuck up. Why didn't you just call the cops on Lillian?"
Steph quietly thought about what Trish said.
"Because the four of you love drama. It creates headlines for your company. Sometimes though, it backfires. You gotta start thinking about that before you lose friends and your husband".
"Tell her I'm sorry".
"You can tell her when she gets back".
They hung up as John was coming down the stairs talking to Randy.
"Why didn't you tell your wife about Lillian? Are you attracted to her? I mean be honest man, this is me you are talking to".
"When I wasn't married, I was. I messed around with her when I was messing with Steph and Stacey. I figured out I wanted Steph".
"Why?"
"I love Steph".
"You love her or the power being in a family that you can control? You need to figure that out and soon, cause the papers are camped out at your and Vince's house. This ain't some shit Emylee can fix cause your wife burned that bridge before they left".
"Steph won't even talk to me".
"Go home. She will. Trust me".
"Alright, I'll text you later. If you can, get our present to Dave's house".
"Just ship it, Mary is still there".
They hung up, and he shook his head sitting down with Trish.
"Tell the truth. Do you miss it?", Trish asked.
"I miss the fans and live shows. This bullshit? Fuck no, and I don't blame Dave and Em for leaving. I'm just mad we can't have our Harry Potter entrance", he said rubbing his head.
Trish hollered so loudly at his response. He began to laugh at her laugh.
"Seriously, I thought we had drama, but since we left, it's been so calm".
"I'll probably go back, but part time, and I'm staying in that bus".
"Agreed. Until then Harry, lets try out some spells before the kids wake up", she grinned pulling him up the stairs.
"Woman, you don't gotta tell me twice", she picked her up as she squealed.
Dave and Emylee laid in the bed naked eating the third bag of chips they got their hands on. Dave thought it maybe a good idea to bring some edibles to take the edge off from the past two weeks.
Emylee was giggling so much at first because Dave thought he lost his glasses, but he was wearing them to whole time. Then they thought aliens were outside their room, so they called room service, which made them paranoid and hungry. It took Shane to video call them to calm down.
"Em, are you high?"
"No. I had a brownie with Dave. I swear to God there are aliens on this island. We gotta go check it out man. No for real".
Shane tried not to laugh at her saying this, as Dave came back in the room.
"Nothing is outside. They probably left, but I know what the fuck I saw. Bro, seriously".
"Ok, text me the pics, and I'll get you two some food, just stop calling the help ok".
"Cool. I'll send them after we hang up".
Hanging up, Shane laughed so hard, and wondered why they trusted him with info like that. Great blackmail for another day.
The snacks were occupying their time that they forgot to text Shane back. Ending up having some hot high sex, they were snacking for days.
"These chips though".
"I'm messing up my diet so badly", Emylee said.
"Fuck a damn diet. We need this at home. With hot sauce", Dave answered.
"You don't need no hot sauce, you gonna pay for that later".
"And? You gonna bloat later from the salt".
"Fuck you", she laughed.
"Mama, you already did that, and so well might I add".
"I know dammit", she grinned.
