Lucas left minutes after their brief talk. Brooke knew she was holding out hope for a distraction but she didn't expect Lucas to show up at her door.
Now for the remainder of the night. Her mind would be elsewhere.
So sketching Peyton's wedding dress would have to wait.
Brooke put away her supplies. Turned off the lights and headed upstairs to her bedroom.
She went through her closet and pulled out a box.
She placed it on the ground. Got out a pen and paper then laid on her bed.
Brooke had brought back her childhood home from her parents. She considers it one of her biggest accomplishments.
She had it renovated to be more spacious. But that's about it. Everything else remained untouched.
She remembers exactly when she started writing these letters to Lucas.
After their one and only kiss all those years ago.
It gave her a safe place to open up about her feelings for him.
But truthfully only Haley and Rachel knew the kiss happened.
Rachel knew she had lingering feelings towards Lucas.
Buried deep inside. As for Haley she kept it from her.
Simply because she didn't want to feel judged.

Lucas closed his laptop out of frustration. Why was writing his vows to Peyton so difficult.? He couldn't think of what to write.
His mind and thoughts somehow landing on Brooke of all people.
When he thought of her. His thoughts were endless.

Peyton focused her gaze forward. Across from her. In the prison visitor's area. Was Xzavier Daniels.
"Why did you schedule this visit.? My own brother doesn't visit me"
"What do you want.?" He asked.
"Simple you get a pay off when you get released. Half when you're free. The other half."
"When Brooke Davis is out of my life." Peyton explained.
