Ch 3

"What's happening to meow?!" Some one whom had just turned into a rather fetching female tabby yelled in tears.

"It would appear that you are a cat with a human genome for a base." A male tawny cat being answered calmly.

"What do yo mean? And why are you so calm!" The poor kitty cried.

"There is no reason to get bent out of shape over something that we have no control over." The tawny answered.

"What?" She asked in shock.

"Don't you see that this is a creator sanctioned change otherwise it wouldn't of happened." The tawny stated seriously.

The tabby gave him a glare before stalking off.

"What did I say?" The tawny asked after her.

"Julia behind you!" Claire yelled in warning as a giant sphere of snow headed for her causing the younger woman to shriek in surprise as she dove out of the way. "You just had to run up to it didn't you?!"

"But it looked so cute and cuddly!" Julia yelled back. "Where are the guys anyways they weren't that far behind us."

As if on cue a Devilhoe bursts out of the snow grabbing onto the Gammoth killing the beast making the two women scream while holding onto each other, before finally noticing Grimlock hanging onto the back of the Devilhoe shouting as he stabbed it with his knife "quit thrashing around and die already!".

After a little bit he was thrown off landing next to Claire and Julia "hey guy's, Claire, Julia how's the Baggi and Jaggi armor" as he got up Roy appeared crashing into the Devilhoe in his dragon form.

Pointing at the Devilhoe Grimlock said "Byyyy the way we ran into some trouble along the way."

"You want us to help you fight that?!" Claire yelled shakily pointing at the Devilhoe. "Why couldn't you have brought Oton with you?"

"It's a lot harder to keep up with everyone when there's more people around aaand he wanted to dote on Chosakabe, also y'all need to stay back cause your not experienced enough to fight it yet!"running toward Roy and the Devilhoe which was glowing red with anger Grimlock used a rock as a springboard while transforming as he shouted "Roy get out of the way!"

As Roy moved out of the way he cut one of the Devilhoe's leg with his horn before Grimlock hit it with his breath attack causing the snow to fly hiding the monster as both of the monster hunters jumped into the cloud of snow, within the snow you could see flashes of red, gold, and purple.

When the snow finally cleared Roy and Grimlock were starting to walk over to the two women pulling the Devilhoe while smiling and chatting "That was easier than I remember."

"That's because this time we are not mere mortals, we are harbingers of disaster mwahahaha!" Grimlock said finishing with maniacal laughter.

"So you're saying that you're Gods of destruction." Claire deadpanned.

Waving his hand Roy said "Nah harbingers of disaster sounds much cooler."

"Julia do you want to hit your husband or should I?" Claire asked her younger companion with a noticeable twitch in her right eye.

"You stupid idiot how could you do that to your pregnant wife?!" Julia yelled as she tried to hit said husband with her Sworn rapiers as he guarded with his silver Rathalos long sword.

"I told you to stay back because it was dangerous and since when are you pregnant?!" Grimlock finished his statement as a question as his most recent revelation almost allowed his adorable wife to hit him.

"What does it matter to you seeing as you have to be one of the first to jump into danger!" Julia yelled as she stopped because she was short of breath.

"Julia, Kelbi I'm going to be a papa?" Grimlock asked quietly as his eyes started to moisten before he turned to the other male in their party. "Roy how do you not have a girl yet dude you're missing out."

"And have to fend off attacks during one of their mood swings? No thanks." Roy answered with as dead of a voice as he could manage.

"Mood swings? I'll show you mood swings!" Claire yelled as she jumped the orange and blue clad monster hunter.

"Claire do we get to tell Oton that he can expect another little munchkin to shower with love and affection?" Grimlock asked hopefully.

"No I'm just tired of him for a little while." Claire her anger dissipated after she was able to land a slap on the twitching body on the ground.

"Well it looks like a quest complete, so we should start heading home." Grimlock said after convincing Julia to put her weapons down.

"Yes, yes let's traverse a couple hundred miles back to the island and report back to my coguildmaster." Claire said as she rolled her eyes.

Standing up Roy groaned and shouted "Traverse hundreds of miles!" then gestured toward the Devilhoe and continued "Ha you have nothing to say, because you aren't the one who has to carry the body of a Devilhoe so why are you complaining!"

"Carry it, why would we carry it when we could cut it up right here!" Then Grimlock turned to Claire "But he does have a point, cause we're the ones doing all the work carrying y'all."

"And you two have dragon forms so your point is invalid." Julia stated tiredly.

"This coming from the person who shouldn't be hunting." Grimlock said as he scooped Julia up bridal style with a smirk.

"You don't have to be so snotty about it Grimlock of the Lost Maidens." Julia said while pouting.

"You know that I was just helping people and you my lovely wife just happened to be one of the people I rescued, but lets leave that conversation for when we get back." Grimlock said as he walked backwards before falling off the cliff at the edge of the plateau they were standing on. A few seconds later found a Shagaru Magala flying off with a roar with Julia on his back.

"And he leaves me to clean up as usual." Roy said sighing before asking. "Care to learn how to butcher a couple monsters Claire?"

"If it'll help us get home faster I guess." Claire said in resignation.

Pulling out his knife Roy started explaining with a grin on his face. "First you start by cutting the hide."

"Tsunami please quit it." Owen groaned tiredly as he attempted to get a nap on his desk.

"So the great guildmaster Owen the brave can't even handle a five year old and a stack of paper?" Luna said while leaning in the doorway.

"Uwah." Owen said as he snapped sitting up straight scattering his paperwork all over the floor. "Oh hey Luna." He said looking at his wife before looking down at the papers scattered everywhere. "Great the paperwork went and had children and then grandchildren."

"Yay Daddy made a paper parachute!" Tsunami squealed excitedly as she started dancing around on the mess as she tossed the papers in the air.

"Tsunami leave the papers alone." Owen said laying his head back on his desk. "Tsunami quit it!" Owen almost yelled standing up as Tsunami started to make paper airplanes.

Walking over to Tsunami Luna bends down and puts her hand on Tsunami's shoulder as she said "Tsunami dear you really shouldn't be playing with that paper, even though your Dad is such a stick in the mud ever since he became guildmaster leaving him no time to spend with family." Then picking her daughter up Luna started to leave the room "So let's just leave your Dad to finish whatever he was doing and go play with Blue."

"Come on Luna you know that's completely unfair." Owen said with a look of longing on his face.

Cupping her hand over her mouth Luna laughed "I didn't mean anything by it other than I'm bored and want to spend time with my loving husband every once and awhile."

"There's only one of me, and I'm working as fast as I can." Owen complained.

Sighing Luna continues "I know, its just I miss how it used to be when we had more time together."

As soon as Luna got done speaking Grimlock burst into the door almost making Luna drop Tsunami when he grabbed her arm and spoke excitedly "You have got to come with me! Oh Owen you should as well."

"Eh?" Owen and Luna asked in unison as Luna was dragged out of the room with Owen close behind.

After a few yards away from the guild hall Grimlock abruptly stops surprising both Owen and Luna when Grimlock points to a harbor town that clearly wasn't there a few hours ago.

"Ok enlighten me what am I looking at?" Owen asked sounding lost.

Recognizing the buildings Luna would've jumped for joy if not for being pregnant and holding Tsunami so instead she just shouted with glee "It's port Tanzia! I didn't think I would ever see it again in my lifetime!"

Luna then walked over to Grimlock hugging him with her free hand to which he replied "Yeah, I didn't believe it at first either until I checked it out." Then got a serious look on his face as he continued speaking "But the thing is it's like they're all in suspended sleep or something."

"Everybody WAKE UP!" Claire yelled from the direction of the new town loud enough that the windows around the group of four rattled..

Sitting up from his spot on the quest counter the guildmaster started shouting "What youngster in their right mind would be yelling this early in the morning!" Looking around he realized it was closer to evening and noticed the now present volcano shouting loud enough to make an elder dragons roar seem quiet "Where in tarnashin are we?!"

"Yo Guildmaster long time no see." Oton said casually wearing his civvies.

Seeing Oton walk into the port all the people crowd around him with the guildmaster at the head of the group "As I live and breath, Oton! We thought you were dead when you disappeared ny eight years ago!"

Then realizing what Oton was wearing the Guildmaster asked "by the way why are you in nothing but your civvies?"

"Because I'm not out on a hunt and all of the monsters on this island are more or less tamed." Oton stated.

"Oh haha very funny, so we're supposed to believe that you somehow tamed monsters and are now living in harmony! Ha when fanged beast lay eggs!"

"Actually on this planet there are two such creatures." Oton answered with a grin.

Hearing this the everyone adopted a blank face which brought a question to mind "This planet? I don't think I get what you mean." The Guildmaster said with a confused look on his face.

"We can discuss that later but first I should introduce you to Josephine." Oton answered as his grin widened before he stuck his fingers in his mouth and gave a long shrill whistle followed by two shrill tweets.

The Guildmaster looked down at the mug in his hand as the liquid started to ripple as the crowd heard a distant rumble that seemed to be getting closer. He had fought some impressive monsters since his younger days but for some reason this was a little bit more unsettling.

Looking around the guildmaster shouted "Where is this person that you wanted to introduce us to, is this some sort of joke cause if it is it's not funny!"

"Since when did I say it was a person?" Oton said with his grin still on his face as Josephine uncloaked leaned down almost to Oton's height and roared.

Upon seeing Josephine uncloak the people of port Tanzia tried to get as much distance as they could from her some even jumping into the water others pulling out their weapons, while the guildmaster dropped his mug in shock.

"Oh Josephine have you gotten bigger again?" Oton asked the dinosaur that know had a 4 meter long head as he stroked said dinosaur earning a purr of contentment from her.

As the Guildmaster picked up his mug he gestured with his hand to put away their weapons before saying "Looks like you weren't lying about the tamed monster."

To further add insult to injury there was an ecstatic cry of glee that came from the sky causing the inhabitants of Port Tanzia to look up.

Upon seeing a Chameleos shift into Roy caused the guildmaster to drop his mug again as Roy landed in front of one of the guild receptionists and embraced her as he broke down in tears. "Evangeline! I thought I'd never see you again!"

"Uh Roy is that you?" The shocked Evangeline asked still rattled by the many revelations that had appeared before her.

"Huh that would explain Roy's resistance to me trying to hook him up." Oton said before he had an epiphany that caused him to sport a rather evil grin.

While Roy was crying over his reunion with his long lost love Grimlock, Owen, Luna, Tsunami, and Julia walked into the port town seeing the guildmaster Grimlock shouted "Hey old man Cob how have these past eight years treated you!"

With a flat look on his face Cob said. "So all of you are alive." Then gesturing to all four of them. "Can all of you transform?"

A second later found old man Cob nose to snout with a White Fatalis. With a look of dawning on his face cob said "It appears y'all can all transform." pausing he then asked. "So what are Grimlock, and Oton?"

Still petting Josephine Oton answered "I now transform into a Shaw Dalamandur and Grimlock transforms into a Shagaru Magala."

Upon hearing this Cobs jaw drops "All of you can transform into elder dragons?" Then turning to Grimlock he stated "Somehow yours just fits."

"Yes since coming to this world we have discovered the origins of the elder dragons." Fatalis Luna stated shocking Cob again.

"You can talk?!" He asked

"Of course I can talk." Luna pouting before changing back.

"Mama who that?" Tsunami asked her mother after escaping Owen and grabbing Luna's skirt.

"Of course you can, and who of your little party is this one's dad?" old man Cob asked as he walked forward and squatted in front of Tsunami whom sat there giving him an unwavering look. "Definitely yours though Luna."

All three of the male monster hunters point to Owen and said in unison "He's the father! And why would you think she was one of ours?"

With a blank look on his face Cob Replied "I just thought she would be one of yours because ya'll were always around each other thus getting along really well so how could I not think it was one of yours."

"Pfft, that just goes to show that you nothing about our love lives!" Grimlock scoffed as he crossed his arms.

"What you do is up to you. It makes no difference to me." Cob stated with a shrug.

"Which is exactly why we are going to show around Isle Nublar and get ya'll adjusted to your new home" Oton said as he pointed in the direction of the park.

Grabbing Evangeline's hand Roy pulled her as he started talking with a big smile on his face "come on I'll show you around the place, your going to love it here especially the monster pens!" Evangeline let herself be drug along with a dazed look on her face.
