Later on that day
Brooke eventually made it to her store. She interacted with her customers. Put on a happy face. Put forward a carefree attitude.
On the inside she was scrambling. Barely holding it together.
Between Lucas revealing to her that he had found her letters. Which only now makes sense.
She had forgotten to put them away. and didn't think anything of it. Since she lived alone and didn't have people just dropping by her bedroom.
Then there was Xzavier's release today. It was more then she could process and understand.
That man violated her sense of security peace of mind. Her body.
She wanted to crawl into bed and hide from the world.
But life would go on. And she had to put forth a brave face.
"Let me set you up. I know plenty of single celebrity guys." Peyton announced.
"No. I have my hands full being you're maid of honor." Brooke replied.
Watching as Peyton entered the store.
As Peyton moved in with Lucas.
Xzavier moved into Peyton's old place. With his goal in mind.
Getting rid of Brooke Davis would set him up to leave this town. And never return.
Peyton would pay him well.
