Catherine looked at Grissom's driveway again thinking maybe he had pulled in and she had not seen him. She need to talk some stuff out and to many it might seem like Grissom was not the person but for most issue he was. He never judge her or told her she was wrong about what she felt. Most of the time he did not have to say anything she would talk herself to the right place without his help. It was always nice to talk though stuff with someone. He should be here as she heard him tell Jim that he had no plans but to go home and sleep. Little did she know that his home was different then the home she thought he was meaning.
Grissom was almost glad to see Catherine's car in the street in front of his townhouse. It would give him something to think about while he was waiting for Sara. Even after spending the time after shift ended until about 10 minutes ago with her he missed her. He saw his neighbor walking towards his driveway the same neighbor that had caught him and Sara making out in his car two nights before. He smiled at that memory. Sara had claimed to their co-workers that her car would not start that morning and that she had rode in with Grissom. When the truth was they had forgot to set an alarm so they could go get her car from her place and had to think of something on the spot. He also remembered that all three of the guys had said they would look at her car and give her a ride home. He was surprised with how fast she come up with a lie so as not to have them find out her car was fine. He also remembered how good her hand felt as she worked out a few issue on the way to his townhouse. When he pulled into the driveway he could not help but kiss her and if his neighbor had not stopped them he was not sure what they would have done in the car. Pulling out his phone he sent a warning to Sara that Catherine was at the house but to come in when she got there. And he also asked that she grab food for Catherine too. Now was there anything to personal out that he did not want Catherine to see wait he knew that Mrs. Waffles (why she choose that name he would never understand but she claimed it was easier for kids to say then her real last name) would refer to Sara as his wife she always did even after they told her they where not married. She claimed that they may not be married on paper but their hearts and souls where married and there was nothing they could do about that.
"Mrs Waffles how are you doing?" Grissom asked as he stepped out of his car. He watch as Catherine getting out of hers.
"I am doing good. Just wanted to let you know that I let Hank out about an hour ago and that the package that you asked me to look at for is sitting on the kitchen table. Tell that wife of yours that her rose brushes are looking wonderful and I wish I had her green thumb."
"Thanks Mrs Waffles and I will be sure to tell her." As he said that his phone started to ring. He smiled as he looked down he should have known she would call. "Sorry Mrs Waffles I need to take this thanks again. (With that he answered his phone) Hello dear... no that one is fine...I can ask but she is normal good for anything... Yes pizza does sound good how about the small meat one for Catherine and you and I can share the normal... Okay see you in a few...I know I love that about her too. Love you." With that he opened the door letting Catherine go in first.
Catherine was a little confused when she heard the would wife but she did notice the rose bushes that where not there the last time she had shown up. She tried to remember when that was and how Grissom could have gotten married with no one knowing it. When Sara found out she was sure that she would be taking her out for drinks much like she did when Sara broke up with Hank. Wait Grissom has an animal that needs let out and that animal is named Hank this is getting weird. She saw that Grissom was now working his way up to his front door maybe she could figure out who the wife is by clues in his house. She walked in when Grissom open the door. His house still looked the same as all the other times she had been there. There where a few more pictures of the gang then there had been. And there was a picture of Grissom and Sara dressed up at a formal event. She thought it a little weird that he had not asked her to go to the event like he normally did. And when she had asked him he claimed that he asked Sara to go with him because she already had the night off and he did not want to make her work so that Catherine could go.
Grissom knew the picture that Catherine was looking at he could not keep his off Sara that night. "She is beautiful in that dress." Also knowing that with that one comment Catherine would be more confused then she already was. "Just to let you know that whole evening was boring and dull. Also Sara is coming by with pizza." At this point he did not care if Catherine found out about them as it was they where planning on telling everyone soon and Greg already knew about them.
Catherine though had other thoughts on her mind and start bending Grissom's ear as he started getting plates out for the pizza Sara and some cups for their drinks. If Catherine had been paying attention she would have noticed that the plates and cups where Sara's but all night she did not. As usually Catherine talk herself into the solution for her issue. Sometimes Grissom wonders why she even brothers coming to him for advice when he can never give any. Shortly after that Sara arrived and they all ate and talked about some non-work relate stuff.
Two Days later
Catherine and the guys where in the break room waiting for Grissom when Catherine asked if any of them knew Grissom had a wife. Nick and Warrick looked at each other and said "No." Greg did not know what to say sure Grissom didn't have a wife but in every way Mrs Waffles was right Grissom and Sara were married even if not on paper. "Am not sure. I mean something has changed with him these last for months. He seems happier so maybe he did get married. What business is it of ours if he is?"
Sara had been listening at the door and heard what Greg was saying. Trying to hold in her laughter she had to stop it was always funny to her that when Greg did not know what to say he would go into random sentences. She sent Greg a message that Grissom wanted to see him in his office and then went that way herself.
"Grissom wants to see me in his office sorry guys." Greg was thankful to get out of the break room. Once inside Grissom's office he was relived to be there but the confused when Sara shut the door and then walk over to Grissom.
"Greg thanks for not telling them anything but we have decide that we are going to let everyone in on it after shift." Sara said as she grabbed for the trashcan. "Also don't let anyone know what you just saw."
