Lucas watched as the friend group broke apart. Visited Brooke and eventually left the hospital.
By the time it was his turn to go visit Brooke. He found himself.
Alot more nervous then he expected. But he went anyway.
Knowing Brooke needed all the support she could get.
He walked through the hallway. And entered the hospital room
He moved quietly not wanting to disturb her.
Lucas swallowed hard. Un prepared for the sight of her.
Beaten and bruised like this. She looked small and so vunerable.
He sat down in the chair next to the bed.
"Brooke. It's me." Lucas said.
Brooke turned her gaze from the window and looked at him.
Tears silently falling from her eyes.
"You're safe now. We'll make sure of it. I'll make sure of it." Lucas proclaimed. The emotion in his voice thick.
"I just want to be alone. Luke please just leave me." Brooke pleaded. Looking away from him.
What took Lucas's gaze away from Brooke.
Was his cellphone ringing. Lucas moved away from Brooke.
And went to the empty side of the hospital room.
He picked up the call. Considering it was from an unknown number.
That was unlike Lucas. He put the phone to his ear and just listened.
"The fucking bitch gave me fake money! She called the cops on me!"
"I'm not keeping quiet anymore. Peyton was the mastermind behind Brooke's attack. He hates her." Xzavier proclaimed. Before the call ended.
And Lucas heard a crash.
