Chapter 11

Peyton saw gas dripping from the car along with smoke. She had ran into Xzavier's car.
She had followed him. She had been tracking him and listening in on his phone call.
She was aware that he had spoken to Lucas and gave her up.
Which is why in order to keep Lucas. Xzavier had to die.
At least that is how Peyton saw it.
She watched as the car eventually caught on fire and blew up. Xzavier died. She watched it happen.
Then she finally made her way to the hospital.
...
Lucas's head was spinning. None of this made sense.
Peyton loved Brooke. Xzavier was a criminal.
There was no reason to believe him.
But if that's true. Why are you having doubts and questioning the woman you're engaged too.? A voice asked.
As Lucas stood in the hallway. Trying to process Xzavier's phone call.
"There's my guy." Peyton said with a smile. She walked over to where he was and kissed him.
"I should check in on Brooke." Peyton said.
"I wouldn't she's gone through alot tonight and is asleep." Lucas replied.
"Okay. We should go home then. Get some sleep." Peyton announced.
"Let's go. Where were you i've been reaching out for hours.?" Lucas questioned.
"Nothing. Tying up loose ends." Peyton replied.

Lucas couldn't sleep. He just laid in the darkness.
Peyton on the other hand couldn't keep her hands off of him.
He had never seen her like this before.
Lucas gave in. He was desperate to push away his doubt.
When they were finished. It was 2 or 3 am. Peyton was asleep.
Lucas got out of bed. Redressed. And checked his cellphone.
He checked on a new voicemail. Put it to his ear and listened.
It was then that he heard Peyton's voice.
Hearing the turmoil and anger in her voice towards Brooke.
Lucas swallowed hard. Hearing her say
She wanted Brooke gone.

After a quick shower. Lucas got dressed. Packed his suitcases and left the home.

"I want to report a crime. It was Peyton Sawyer. She is the person behind the attack of Brooke Davis." Lucas informed the first police officer he could find at the station.
