The lost princess.
The most important Clan of Konoha has decided to marry their first-born to strengthen the Alliance between Nations. The most anticipated event of the year is threatened by a very unique trio, wich could symbolize the peace of the most powerful Village in shinobi world or the emergence of new conflicts.
Chapter 5: Genjutsu afternoon.
It had been 1 week since a team had gone out to find his mother. At school he had made a stir with the newspaper article with all the information about his family, thanks to his younger sister's big mouth. She still didn't believe that she had been persuaded to share the family photos.
The only good thing about all that is that he had become a kind of God, who had many fangirls, something that all the Uchihas had to deal with in these directions according to Mikoto. His brothers were going through something similar, especially Inori when they discovered his peculiar eyes.
At this moment his brothers were training with their aunt Hanabi, he had to admit it. They controlled the Byakugan quite well, thanks to Hinata and Kou. He for his part had had to learn the benefits of the Sharingan on his own, not all of course.
He found one of the Uchiha Clan's training grounds to improve his weapon throwing.
Each shuriken gave exactly where it wanted, however, the speed was not as desired.
-Well, well, but what do we have here? Nice to meet you minitachi.
-I'm Uchiha Takeshi -he replied pejoratively
"I'II tell you Tashi." He ignored him completely. "I'm Uncle Shisui. Would you like me to help you with that?"
Shisui took out four kunai arranged between each finger of his hands and threw them so fast that if it weren't for his Sharingan he would not have been able to follow their trajectory.
They stayed for a few hours, until he no longer had enough chakra to activate his doujutsu.
-Don't worry, with practice you will be able to keep it longer, although I recommend you train without using it, for now, to avoid ending your chakra reserves so quickly and truly increase its effectiveness.
Takeshi knew what he meant. He practically used a sword before walking and when he woke up his sharingan he was already quite skilled at kenjutsu, so using it impressively increased his abilities, but you can't exponentiate something that is not really good from the start. Not to mention, the high demand for chakra that any kekkei genkai requires, especially yours
-I'II wait for you tomorrow at the same time little Tashi.
The boy nodded excitedly. He finally had an Uchiha master.
When Shisui told him what had happened, he smiled with a certain nostalgia.
-Tashi, I think you should train him.
-I still can't connect with him like with Takara. Inori seems more neutral with the situation, but Takeshi holds a grudge againts me and I don't blame him.
-Precisely because of that. Surely training will be able to create a bond.
Itachi shook his head. -On the contrary, it could generate more resentment. I'II focus on helping Inori on the days that I don't go with the Hyuuga. I count on you.
His cousin smiled in response.
In the blink of an eye, a few months passed. Takara had found in Hanabi a great moral support, he was not only training her, every time Inori left with Itachi the two spent hours drinking tea and making friends. Inori found the same support in his father and Takeshi in Shisui.
Mikoto was dying of love for her three grandchidren, after much insistence she had finally managed to get them to call her Oba-chan. Fugaku, growling, agreed to be called Oji-san. They were almost reaching the chan.
The impassive and undisturbed Itachi had had to hold back tears when Takara and Inori called him Dad for the first time. Takeshi refused to do so, but he was less distant, they could have conversations of more than two minutes without making any difference.
It was on one of those afternoons, when the black-haired man rarely had the luxury of relaxing, in the garden next to the koi fish pond that surrounded the house, that his three children decided to accompany him.
-We brought tea and dangos dad-smiled Takara.
The three of them sat next to him, taking advantage of the last warm days before winter set in. When they finished eating the sky was orange because of the sunset.
-Dad ... How did you and mom fell in love?-
Itachi choked on the tea.
-Mom, never told you? -
Takeshi shrugged. "We only have the cheesy version of love at first sight." He rolled his eyes.
-And that I was still sad about what happened with Uzumaki-San- Inori added sipping some tea.
"After the attack by a guy named Pain and the ...Uzumaki incident," the little girl added with annoyance, "Mom spent a few days in the hospital, upon leaving she accepted a mission in the Land of Grass to bring medical supplies and food to Konoha." Escorted by none other than, and I quote mom's verbatim words: a boy with deep black eyes and super attractive! -He pressed both hands to his chest with ecstatic eyes.
-He didn't say "Super attractive" Bakara- she just stuck her tongue out hanging into Itachi's arm who barely perceptible blush on his cheeks.
-They spent several days together and during an attack you protected her. However, they were seperated on their return on a mission. Then he had to go to the Country of Iron and they did not see each other again - added the older brother.
That was the short version. Very short in his opinion. He closed his eyes preparing his answer, after all he would have to omit the M classification details.
-What do you think if instead of telling them I show them?- Without their being able to answer the three children fell into their father's genjutsu. 3 spirals were spinning rapidly within two huge red eyes.
Hinata had been linked to him since her inception as a genin, indirectly. He remember perfectly how his first mission S, wich consisted to his inexperienced team because the most important ninjas at that time were involved in solving the matter of the kidnapping of the heiress of the Hyuuga clan. That day he committed his first murder.
He never imagined that years later he would have to accompany her on a mission. He thought about all that as he watched her approach the gates of Konoha. Physically he looked good, quite good. But there was something in her eyes that made her wonder if she was ready to go back on mission. He had faced a terrorist head-on and nearly killed in the attempt after all.
She wasn't shedding tears, but she was crying. His lament was so great that he could perceive it without his sharingan, his chakra screamed in pain.
-Hyuuga-San, if she's not fully recovered yet, I can do this mission alone. I'm sure La Quinta will understand.
-I'm fine Uchiha-San, I appreciate your concern but I cannot fail my clan ... no ... I cannot fail the village. My knowledge of medicinal plants is necessary for this mission. I promise not to be a burden.- His eyes shone with determination.
Itachi wanted to tell him that that was not the reason for his concern. He knew better than anyone how difficult it was to go on a mission with so much pain and sadness in the heart. However, the words did not come out of his mouth. He nodded and they began their journey to the Land of Grass. It was three days until the dock, 2 days by boat to the island of that Country, I hoped that they would not have to spend more than 3 days collecting the plants and obtaining the food. It would be 2 weeks at the most, or so I hoped.
During the two nights they had to camp before reaching the sea, he heard her cry herself to sleep. By the third night they reached the small village where they were to take the boat. They bought the tickets, they left first thing in the morning. They got some supplies and decided to spend the night in a small hotel near the embarkation point.
As soon as the light was turned off, he heard her sob, softly, trying uselessly not to be heard.
-Hyuuga-san? Does something hurt?- He watching his silhouette in the dark.
-No-nooo ... sorry ...I ... ..sorry if I don't let him sleep- he heard her shifting between the sheets of her futon. They were both in the same room. Separated by a safe distance between each bed.
-He didn't answer my question. It hurts something ? Do you need a doctor?
-My body has healed perfectly, my discomfort is not physical. I can perfectly do my mission, I will immediately stop so that Uchiha-san can sleep peacefully.- sat down too
-You don't need to suppress your crying or your emotions, that could really make you sick. Talking can help, maybe, if you allow me, I could listen to you.
Itachi had never been very good to girls and Hinata's crying uncontrollalbly caused him to panic. The girl did not stop trembling as her eyes spilled rivers of salt water. God, now what. Scared that he might pass out at any moment, he did what he had been doing with Sasuke, even before entering puberty, when he was hurt or felt sad, he approached her and hugged her. He carefully lifted her up and sat her on his lap.
It wasn't the right thing to do, but he was relieved when after a few minutes the crying stopped and his breathing calmed.
"Are you feeling better?" She just nodded very close to his neck.
-They're not going to kiss or anything, right? -Mented with fear and something disgusted Takeshi.
The genjutsu was deactivated just in time for Mikoto's call to brush her teeth and get ready for bed. The three children ran to the bathroom. Itachi sighed.
Notes:
Looking around recently, I discovered that on Naruto's world map, the Country of Grass is not surrounded by sea, but I visualized their journey inspired by a filling of the many chapters of the ship's bow where they collect plants. And I said: it is the Country of Grass. In the same way I am not an expert in terms of doujutsus and their characteristics, but I am trying to adapt them as best I can.
