A/N: Lots have been going on, so decided to write a few short stories. Don't mind the errors, there will probably be a lot because I'm writing these stories as they pop in my head. Also yes I will be finishing the story At last in the next two weeks. I never thought writers block was real but it is. Anyways enjoy this one.

Arizona POV

"Arizona, guess what!?" My best friend of 8 years ask overly excited. Don't get me wrong I'm a perky person also, but nothing compared to April.

"What's up April?"

"I bought us tickets to watch the NASCAR cup series semi- finals, for your birthday next week."

I turned around shocked. "What?"

"I said we're going to North Carolina." She says peppy as ever.

"April you didn't need to do that."

"Hey you deserve it, I don't think you've ever taken a break since you was born."

"Aps.."

"No, Arizona. We're going. You own this practice. We can reschedule your patients. Actually I already have. So all you need to do is pack your bags. The rest I got it taken care of."

"April, look I don't think I can do that, right now. I just opened up my practice..."

"Yes Arizona, you did two years ago and we are thriving.. look I don't get it you always watch nascar. I thought you would be more excited." April says sitting across of my desk.

Realizing she's right. I've never taken a break in my entire 29 years of life. But she doesn't know why I watch nascar so much. To watch the women who broke my heart nearly a decade ago.

"You're right. Thank you April."

General POV

As Arizona steps off the jetway, she's met with banners of this weeks Nascar Semi-Finals. And there she is, on almost every banner. Callie 'Tornado Torres.' Arizona has watched every nascar race hoping and praying that Callie would lose, but of course, she proves me wrong and more than likely always wins top three.

Pulling the blonde out of her daze, "Arizona you okay?"

"Sorry, yes I'm fine. Just reading the banner." The blonde reassures her best friend.

They approach their hotel and this is the host hotels for this week event. Arizona has no clue how April got them reservations, but nevertheless she's grateful.

"So tonight they have a small event where we can watch a few of the Nascar drivers practice." April says as they unpacked their bags.

April turns to Arizona and she's on her phone, checking work emails. April yanks the phone out of Arizona's hand.

"Hey. I was reading that." Arizona says trying to reach for her phone.

"Arizona can you please enjoy this weekend with me? It's for your birthday.."

"A..."

"I know your birthday is not important but how about we call it a best friends get away."

"Hmmm I like the sound of that."

"No really Arizona what happens in Charlotte, stays in Charlotte." April says with a naughty look on her face. "We'll both find someone to blow off some steam with."

"Fine, let the festivities began." Arizona smiles as she grabs a bottle of wine from the fridge.

"That's what I'm talking about." The red head squeals.

Callie POV

Something feels different. I'm never nervous when it comes to racing. Ever since I woke up this morning in my suite I had a weird feeling, and I can't put a finger on it. I'm not sick. I didn't eat any junk foods. My temperature is fine.

Entering the arena we head to my teams area for I can practice one last time before this weekend begins. I head to my trailer and change my clothes, put on everything my sponsors give me. I grab my EarPods and try to get in the zone. Heading to my thunderbird, I'm met with my friend of over 5 years. She's seen the highs and lows.

"Tornado Torres, is that you?"

"Of course, in the flesh." I laughed.

"I'm surprised you're up, after a night like I assumed you would have." Addison teases.

"Shut up, Addie. You know when it comes to work, I'm nothing but serious."

"Yeah, I know I'm just teasing. I know.." Addison stops mid sentence when she hears a woman screaming my name. We both turn and it's the woman I was with last night.

"Callie, isn't that the red head last night. What's her name again? Nickel? Quarter?"

"Penny." I chuckled. "Yeah, that's her. What the fuck is she doing by team?"

"Looks like someone didn't get the memo, that last night wasn't just a one night stand. Good luck with that." Addison teased and walked to her car.

"Be safe out there Cal."

"Always." I say walking to my crew to see how this woman got in.

"Penny what are you doing here? I thought I told you it was just for one night."

"Cal I know you felt what I felt."

"Penny I had fun last night. But honestly I don't got time for this."

"Callie, we belong together. What happened last night was amazing."

Is this woman delusional? Is she not hearing me?

"Get the fuck out of here. I ain't got time for this!" I snapped.

Penny nods her head finally understanding. "Look I don't mean to be rude, but you need to go. Im not sure who let you into my pit. But you need to go."

"Im sorry Callie. I didn't mean to upset you."

"Just go." I said turning my back and heading to my manager who's smirking at me.

"Mark, why'd you let her in?"

"Because she's hot."

"Are you dumb? Don't you know this is the most important race of my life and you're letting women in just cause they're Hot. Do you want me to fire you? Cause I will. I don't give a fuck how close we are. Business is business."

Holding his hand up trying to calm me down. "Woah Torres you okay? Im sorry I didn't know it would piss you off that much. Actually I don't think that's it. Is it? What's going on?"

"Im not sure Mark, I just don't feel good."

"You're probably nervous. We never made it here before. Granted this is only your first year in the league. You'll do fine." He says handing me my helmet.

Taking a deep breath, I grab the helmet out of my hand. "You're right. Sorry for snapping Mark."

"Don't worry about it. Let's go kick some ass."

Arizona POV

Pulling up to the arena, I start to feel my anxiety kicking in, no alcohol in the world could calm me down.

"Zona, are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine." I smiled at her. "It's just hot and too much alcohol."

"I know what you mean." April says oblivious to my inner worries.

I haven't seen Callie in over 10 years. When she walked away from me.

Flashback 16 years ago.

"I hate it here. I hate my life. I hate my family. I can't wait till I'm 18 and can leave this place." A 14 year old Arizona sobs in the back of an abandon building.

"Hey are you okay?"

I look up and I see her. I know this girl. She's in my grade. She's in my bio class and she's really smart. I've heard stories about how her sister, and mother got into a car accident years ago. Now it's just her and her dad. The rumor around town is that he's a drunk and doesn't give a shit about her. To which she's standing in front of me with her torn clothes and shoes two sizes too small.

"Yeah, I'm good."

She hands me a cloth from her shirt to wipe away my tears.

"Thanks."

"You don't seem good." She says taking the seat next to me.

"Clearly." I scoffed and she lets out a giggle. "So what happened?"

"My life is fucked up."

"I'm sure not as much as mine." Callie says with a straight face.

"My father and I just moved here about 6 months ago, He's a colonel. My brother just died a year ago in the line of duty, and my mother blames him for it. They couldn't recover and now they're divorce, and she left me." Arizona sobbed.

Callie rubs her back, trying to soothe and calm Arizona down. "Well I guess both of us have fucked up lives."

Arizona POV.

Sitting on the bleachers, trying my best to keep my heart rate in check. Also another thing I have no idea how April got such great seats. Not to mention right above Callie's pitbox. Pulling my hat down. I try to block my face, and I believe it's working. I haven't seen her in person yet and I don't plan on it.

"Look it's that driver everyone has the hots for, Who knows we're so close maybe something might happened." April says bumping my shoulder.

"Right. I doubt that. But who knows." I faked laughed.

We sit there and continue to watch them practice for hours. I'm so intrigued with everything going on, when all of a sudden the announcer starts speaking on the microphone.

"Ladies and Gentelmen. Looks like you're in for a treat. 'Tornado Torres' and O'Malley decided to have a pre race."

"Oooh!!" April squeaks.

Callie POV

Pulling up for my 120 lap, I stop on the side for a pit stop. O'Malley pulls beside and I know what he's trying to do. Anyone who says he has an innocent look is wrong. He's ugly and short. Thinks he can race.

"We'll look who it is the Rookie. People have high hopes for you."

I ignore him and try my best to not to get pissed.

"Too bad you're gonna let them down."

The latin blood in me wants to attack, but I keep calm. "How about we put a show on for them."

He looks shocked. Not expecting me to challenge him. He also looks a little worried.

"Fine. Let's do it."

"Mark set it up."

Mark calls the officials in the look out box up top and sets up the race.

"Torres, you better kick his scrawny ass! Only 50 laps." Mark cheers.

I nod my head and get in the zone. Pulling up to the starting line. I take a deep breathe.

"On your mark.. get set.. go!!"

Arizona POV.

I knew she was good, but I didn't expect her to be this good. I try my best and cheer for O'Malley. Clearly I'm the only one and that only makes me cheer louder.

"Arizona, why would you cheer for him? That tornado driver is hot. And I'm not even into women." She says a little tipsy.

Their on there last lap and their neck and neck. It looks like she could lose, but last minute she hits the clutch and passes him by a long shot.

"Fuck!" I groaned. Even though I knew she would win. Whatever Callie wants, Callie gets. So I'm not surprised.

"Looks like you can shut up now!" A red head snaps at me. I turn my attention to that person.

"Oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it." I snap.

"You wanna know what I'm gonna do about it?" She says bumping my chest.

"Bring it bitch." I said pushing her down.

Then one of her friends jump in and then April stands on the bleachers and jumps on them.

All of a sudden the officials are running to the stands pulling us apart. "That's it your out of here. Your band from watching."

"What she started it? April snaps.

Then I hear that voice. The voice that I tried so hard to forget. The voice I tried to hate. "Arizona..."
