"The firework delivery is here," Fred called, noticing Seamus through the window. "Want me to grab it?"
"I've got it," George replied, jumping over the stack of inventory he'd been putting out on the shelves of the shop. Fred shrugged and turned his attention back to the customer before him. George stepped outside and shivered slightly at the loose blowing snow. It was nearly the end of December and he and Fred were stocking on up on their deluxe Whizbang Fireworks. It had been Fred's idea outsource the production of the fireworks, leaving them more time to come up with brilliant, not at all dangerous, ideas.
"Hey, Seamus," George said, pulling up the collar of his robe slightly.
"George, want me to bring these through the front or-"
"The back's better, straight into the stock room," George answered, nodding towards the gangway between Weasleys' Wheezes and the shop next door. Seamus followed George. Once they were certain they were out of view from the straight and the large windows of the shop, Seamus set the boxes down and pushed George against the brick wall, kissing him passionately.
"We're going to have to come clean one of these days," George said, returning Seamus' passion.
"But then it won't be nearly as much fun to sneak around like this," Seamus argued. George laughed.
"Good point. We probably should start getting the fireworks inside, unless you've made them waterproof now as well?"
"Working on it, actually," Seamus stated, grabbing the boxes as George opened the back door of the shop. They started loading the boxes among the others in the back room, each one labeled brightly with Seamus' trademark scarlet explosion shape proudly declaring the the fireworks were made by Finnigan's Fire. That same logo also appeared with Fred and George's Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes logo on each individual firework. George had made absolutely sure that Seamus got the credit due to him. Once all the boxes were inside, George and Seamus found themselves standing in the corner, surrounded by brown boxes of all sizes.
"You have to get going soon?"
"Not really, next delivery isn't until later, got a few minutes at least," Seamus said, glancing around.
"Good," George said, pulling Seamus in for another kiss. The pair wrapped their arms around each other, their tongues exploring each other's mouths.
Fred sighed. This always happened on delivery days. George would go help Seamus load the merchandise and disappear. It wasn't as if Fred didn't know exactly where he was, what he was doing, or with whom. He just wished his brother would come out and say it already. If he and Seamus admitted their relationship before the end of the year, Fred would win the bet, if not, then Bill probably would and Fred really, really didn't want Bill to win.
