When the sun begins to set at Metropolis park, Eli is waiting for his friend and the bullies to show up with the magic book in his hand.

"Men, I hope this plan works," Eli thought.

"Eli," Eli turns to a young girl about his age; she was a bit taller than Eli, she had green eyes, short blonde hair, and had some freckles. She wore a green hat, a long sleeve red shirt, blue jeans, white socks, and black shoes.

"Hey Riley," said Eli

"I hope you know what you are doing?" Riley puts her hands on her hip

"Of course I got this,"

"How do you get this? You can't summon a monster from a book that you got for seven bucks in some Chinatown,"

"Four dollars actually,"

"Who cares!" Riley nearly shouted

"Well, you shouldn't worry so much, Riley. I got a plan,"

"And that is?"

"It's secret," Eli winks at her.

Riley groans and shakes her head "your lucky that we've been for years I have to put up with this,"

"Yeah, I know,"

"I didn't think you actually show up, geek," Riley and Eli turn around to see two 13-year-old kids that have smug smiles.

The first kid was a tall boy, had tan skin, brown eyes, and red hair. He wore a black jacket, a blue t-shirt with violent cartoon Tigre in the shirt's center, grey shorts, white socks, and blue shoes. The second was a short boy, had kind of pasty skin, black hair, and grey eyes; he wore a yellow t-shirt, khaki pants, and flip-flops.

"Of course, I show up. We made a bet, Nick," said Eli

"Good because the whole school would have heard that your chicken," said the tall bully

"And Nick would have still pantsed you for being a geek," said the short bully

"You got that right, Carl,"

"Can't we just get this over with," said Riley

"I agree because my mom talking to me to the movies, so hurry up and fail already, Eli," said Nick

"Just follow me, jerk," said Eli

The four kids walk to the Forest part of the park. They come across a blue blanket in front of some bushes. In the center of the blanket is a black poster board with a purple circle that has random numbers inside of the circle.

"Is this suppose to scare us, Eli?" said Nick

"Yeah, it's doing the opposite," said Carl

"Eli, what is this?" said Riley

"It's a summoning circle," said Eli walking behind the poster board

"So what are you going to do? summon a pink and lame unicorn," said Carl

"Ha, good one, Carl," said Nick

"Don't worry dumb and dumber, I'll show you," said Eli

"Eli," said Riley

"I got this, Riley, trust me,"

Eli opens the book and starts to read aloud, "Oh great red beast from the eighth circle of hell. I summon you to appear before me, now!"

Things were quiet for a few moments before the two bullies started to laugh out loud.

"Wow, that was so lame freaking lame," said Nick

"I think I'm about to piss my pants from this geekiness. God, that was so pathetic," said Carl between his laughs

Then the bushes start to move, causing the bullies to stop laughing, and Eli grin. Coming out of the bush is a terrifying red fox monster with red liquid dripping from its mouth and glowing green eyes. The monster terrified the two bullies. The bullies scream their heads off and run away from the monster getting out of the park.

Riley stuns for the moment, but then Eli laughs.

"That went better than I expect," said Eli as the monster stand next to him

"Alright, Eli explain just what happens now," Riley demanded

"Okay, Riley, Danny,"

The monster grabbed his head, took off, and revealed that the monster was just a person in a costume. The person is a tall seventeen-year-old boy with raven hair and icy blue eyes with a red beanie on his head. The teen slips off the rest costume to show he is wearing a blue and black flannel jacket, a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white and black shoes.

"Who is this?" said Riley

"Riley, meet Danny. He's my new next-door neighbor," said Eli

"Sup," said Danny

"He helped me set up this prank on Carl and Nick,"

"And you would've thought of letting me know about this prank," said Riley crossing her arms

"Yeah, sorry about that, but you got to admit though it was funny to see those two jerk run,"

Riley stops crossing her am and smiles a bit. "alright, it was funny," then she turns to Danny, "why did you help Eli?"

"I got nothing better to do," Riley looks at Danny a bit "what? do I have some of the fake blood on my face?"

"Sorry, no, it's just that your eyes are really blue,"

"I get that a lot,"

"Anyway, this has been an experience, but I think I'm headed back home. I'll text you later, Eli, and nice meeting you, Danny,"

"Bye, Riley,"

As soon Riley was out of sight, Eli turned to Danny "that was awesome, Danny; I can't believe you got a human form; do all ghosts have one?"

"No, I'm a rare ghost that can,"

"Cool,"

"It was a pretty smart idea to use your dad old Halloween costume,"

"Yeah, he gets very serious around Halloween,"

"I can tell, but why does he have fake blood?"

"He uses that scare, my uncle, from my mom side when he annoys him when he comes to visit us,"

"Okay, I'm going to clean this custom up and put it back in his closet,"

"If you worry that my dad catches you, don't worry. He stuck at work, and my mom went to the grocery store,"

"I got it, but before I go, I have to say that you really need to think things through and think about the outcome, Eli,"

"Is this about the bet?"

"Yes, and summoning me, you have to think through, or you'll ending getting yourself into trouble with no way getting out of,"

Eli looks down and sighs, "yeah, you're right. I'll try to think things, though,"

Danny smiles "good, hey, I can tell some of my ghost king's story later,"

Eli look back at and gets excited "alright,"

Look around to see no one around him and turn back into his ghost form. He turns himself invisible as well, the custom in his hand, and flies off.

Danny cleans up the costume and puts the costume back into Eli's dad's closet. Danny phases out of Eli's apartment goes on top of the building, and looks at the city, brightening up at night.

"Men, I wish I had a camera to take a picture of the city," Danny thought.

Then he looked down for a moment to see a person in a ski mask, wearing all black clothes carrying a bag, wire cutters, and a crowbar going behind a goodwill store. He uses wire cutters to cut a wire, then he uses a crowbar to open the door to the store, and he goes into the store.

"Who the hell breaks into a goodwill store?" Danny thought as he stands up "well, I better stop the crook from robbing the store,"

Danny turns himself invisible and flies into the store. Danny looks around in the store to see the robber opening up a register behind the store counter, and he puts the money in the bag. Danny distracts the robber by knocking a basketball off a shelf, and it falls to the ground.

The robber looked to see the ball rolling on the ground "it must be the wind," the robber said to himself.

With that distraction, Danny comes up behind the robber and knocks him out. Danny spots a roll of duct tape behind the counter. Danny grabs the tape and tapes the robber's leg and arm together. Then he finds a silent alarm button; he pressed it and flew off.

Danny returns to the neighbor's apartment he was staying at, and he goes to the bedroom. Think for a moment.

"The second day in the row, I did something heroic. Honestly, I'm starting to feel like my old self again," Danny thought to himself. Suddenly, some images of an explosion and Danny's family and friends' bodies came into his mind. He shakes his head to clear of those images and sigh, "I seriously need some help with that,"

Danny then turns invisible again and phases into Eli's room to talk about his ghost story.
