Re-edit: 2/1/21

A couple of days later, Danny is in Eli's room playing Eli's Nintendo Switch, giving himself a break from being a superhero for the day. Eli comes into his room holding the magical book in his hand and the other hand is his phone.

"Hey Danny, I think I came up with an idea to send you back home," said Eli

"Really How?" said Danny as he pauses his game

"See, what if I try to make a spell with some of the words from the spell I summon you here,"

"Are you sure it's going to work?"

"Well, either that or I use some sketchy phone number from an occult detective from Britain, and I'm pretty sure that a guy is a scam artist,"

Danny sighs "alright, let's give it a try" Danny gets up from Eli's bedroom and puts down the game.

"Good, I've come up with a spell that I use from google and the book," Eli puts the book down on his bed and open his phone to his note "oh, by the way, Danny, you making a name for self around the city,"

"Really,"

"Yeah, most people think you either a myth or mystery hero with no name,"

"I guess that kinda good,"

Eli pulls up the spell on his note, "okay, got the spell. Are you ready, Danny?"

"Ready I'll ever be,"

"Alright," Eli begins the spell "messurum ad rogim solo exspiravit,"

Then a ghost portal appears in the middle of the room, and Danny expects it. "Eli, I think you actually made a ghost portal," said Danny

"Is that a good thing?" said Eli

"Maybe I'll go see if this lead me back to the ghost zone,"

"Can you come back to my world if it does work?"

Danny smile "of course, Eli, we're friends,"

Eli smile back "good,"

Danny flies into the ghost portal, but it didn't take him back to the ghost zone. Instead, he's in the middle of the air at night and floating above a different city.

"Alright, that didn't work, now where am I?" Danny thought.

Danny turned himself invisible and flew around the city to see that it's gothic and in the night sky is a bat symbol. Danny looks down to see a payphone.

"If that payphone works, I'll call Eli to find out where I am," Danny thought.

Danny flies down to the payphone and turns into human form and is visible. Danny uses the payphone with some change he had in his pocket and calls Eli.

Eli picks up the phone, "hello?"

"Elli, this is Danny," said Danny

"Danny, are you calling me from the ghost world?"

"No, the portal took me to some city?"

"What city?"

"I have no idea," Danny look to see a parked van with the license plate that says above the plate number Gotham city' "okay, it looks like I'm in Gotham city,"

"Gotham city! You need to get out of that city quick,"

"Why?"

"That place is the most dangerous city in the country, and at night the city gets hectic,"

"Does this city has any superheroes in it,"

"It does; the biggest one is Batman, and he pretty scarier,"

"Alright, can you tell me what direction I should go?"

"Why don't I use the spell again?"

"Because the ghost portal might take me somewhere else, so I'm going to go on the safe side,"

"Okay, just fly southeast, and you'll end up back in Metropolis,"

"I should grab a map," Danny thought, then said, "alright, thanks, Eli. I'll be back in Metropolis,"

"Good luck Danny," Eli hangs up.

Danny hangs up and about to find a safe place to go back to his ghost form. He suddenly hears footsteps, and he turns around to see four older men with matching black hoodies, green jeans, white socks, brown shoes, and a white bandana covering their mouths.

"great, I might have to deal with these guys," Danny thought.

Danny starts to walk away from the clowns. Still, when he walks near an alleyway, a large man with the same clothing as the other men but his hoodie sleeves is torn off steps in front, and the other four men begin to surround Danny.

"Where do you think you're going?" said the large men

"Um, somewhere other than here obviously," said Danny

"We got ourselves a smartass here you better hand over any you have cash or," said one of the men he pulls out a switchblade, "and you might end up in the hospital,"

"I need to think first dealing with these morons," Danny thought.

Then a blue baton comes flying out of nowhere and hits the thug with the switchblade in the face knocking on the floor. Everyone looks up on the roof to see an older teen wearing a black and blue costume, a bluebird symbol, and a blue eye mask.

"Alright, the five of you leave the kid alone, or you'll end up feeling bruised all over for the night,"

"Please, you don't scare us, Nightwing," said the large men

Nightwing climbs down the roof from a pipe, jumps off it, kicks the large man in the face, and knocks him out.

Nightwing pulls out another baton, "okay, who ready?"

The two thugs run at Nightwing, and he handles the two thugs using his baton to hit the men in the face and punch him in the rib. Then Nightwing swipes the other thug's leg making him fall to the ground, and elbows him in the chest. The last thug looks around at his friends and decides to run away from the scene, leaving Danny and Nightwing alone.

"Woah, I have never seen someone fight like that," Danny thought.

"Are you okay, kid?" said Nightwing.

"Yeah, I'm fine,"

Nightwing walks over to grab his other baton "why are you in the bad parts of town anyway, kid?"

"Oh, I just got lost. I had to call a friend,"

"Well, you should get out of here quick as you can,"

"That's what I'm about to do; thanks for saving me,"

"No problem," Danny quickly walks away from Nightwing, and he thought "huh, he kinda looks like me, weird,"

Danny makes his way several blocks away from the bad parts of town, and he goes inside an old building with no one around, and he changes into his ghost form. He turns invisible and flies out of the building. Danny looks to see a newsstand with a couple of maps on some of its shelves. Danny quietly takes one of the maps and flies up on a roof, and he looks at the map.

"Alright, Eli say southeast, and I'm near the Gotham docks, so I think I'm near the city limit,"

Then Danny hears gunshots down below him and sees a guy with one side of his face is scarred, and the other half is normal while his suit is black and white. The scarred man was shooting at something with a pistol, but Danny couldn't see who he was shooting at.

"I'd better stop him before he hurts someone," Danny thought.

Danny puts away his map, turns invisible, and flies down. Danny uses his ice power to freeze the scarred man's feet.

"What the hell," said the scarred men

"Goodnight, pal," said Danny landing on the ground and knocking the scarred men out. With one punch, Danny turn himself visible "I wonder what he is shooting at,"

"He was shooting at me," Danny turned around to see a man stepping out of the shadow. He was wearing a grey and black costume, a yellow utility belt, and a bat symbol on his chest.

"Oh man, this must be Batman, Eli told me about, and he is actually scary looking in a cool way," Danny thought.

"Now, who are you?"

"Well, I'm Danny Phantom, sir,"

"And what are you doing in Gotham?"

"See, um, I didn't take a left turn in Albuquerque. I end up in this city," Danny jokes, and it didn't make Batman smile, still having his famous frown. "okay, bad joke then,"

"Answer the question,"

"I was just passing by the city and see that guy shooting, and I thought he could stop him before he hurt someone,"

"I got the situation handle Phantom,"

"Then um my bad, I'll just be going, and I'll be out of hair," Danny flies up and shouts, "oh, by the way, the ice is going to melt in thirty-minute!" Danny flies away.

Batman looks at Danny Phantom flies away, and thought "I need to look into him,"
