Series 2 Episode One Part Two
Ellie's Pov
Murphy and Cassandra did leave her alone for a little while and she somehow managed to fall asleep and what felt like minutes turned out to be an hour and she woke up to Murphy shaking her gently.
"Hi" He said softly to her holding a bottle of water in his hands and he offered it to her "feeling any better?"
Pulling herself up she took the bottle off him before responding "Well the pounding headache is more of a dull ache now and you're not blurry so guessing that's a good sign" Taking the lid of the bottle she went to take a sip but hesitated looking up at Murphy who looked confused at first but then scoffed.
"Seriously you really think I'd do that to you?" He said sounding offended
"Well I don't know you had no problems doing it to Zimmerman and the others and biting Cassandra. Controlling my mind would sure make this situation run a lot easier and don't think that I didn't know that you've already done it once to me"
"They were both justifiable situations, Cassandra would be dead now if I hadn't bit her and as for Zimmerman it helped us escape didn't it, I didn't even know if it would work"
"No she's not dead instead she is something she never wanted to be again, a pawn, a puppet someone you can use for protection and if you ever try that mind control crap on me again, I promise you, you wont like the outcome" Ellie said glaring at Murphy who just rolled his eyes
"Ok, I get it, biting Cassandra was a split second decision and maybe it was the wrong one but I can't undo it now... And as for my mind control crap, that was a accident we shared the same drink remember before Zimmerman took us and I drank from it first. So that's how it got into your system and I only realised that after it worked on Janice and it didnt work properly on you anyway"
"Didn't mean you had to use it on me, it's not a nice feeling Murphy, I felt like I had been drugged... and what do you mean it didn't work?"
"When I did it to the others, I could feel this connection. I can sense when they were close. Its like I could transmit what I wanted them to do into their mind but with you it was like the transmitter was broken or faulty, I could barley sense you and both times when I tried to stop you. It affected you differently, the others were under my complete control you however, I couldn't get a fix so when I tried I just made you dizzy and nauseous which made you stop. But not what I was going for"
"Why didn't it work?"
"Probably to do with our most recent discovery" Murphy said "Maybe because you have the cure running through your veins, it fought the process... But I promise you Ellie I have not tampered with this bottle of water" Murphy said dropping the topic and bringing the bottle up again gesturing for Ellie to take it but she still hesitated "Ellie... I haven't touched it, see for yourself the seal is still done up"
After a few more seconds of hesitation Ellie took the bottle from Murphy and inspected the top, once satisfied she opened it and when the bottle clicked signifying the seal had broken she looked up at Murphy to see him giving her a smug look as if to say 'I told you so'.
"Thanks" She mumbled quietly taking a sip of the water before doing it back up and placing it on the the table next to her. "So since you were in a clothing store did you happen to pick anything out for me?"
"I certainly did" Murphy said smiling
Addy's Pov
Walking through a junk yard of cars with Mack , Addy was carrying the radio in one had and her whacker in the other The radio was still broadcasting the woman saying the same numbers over and over again.
"Maybe it's just some... ...giant cosmic bingo game somewhere, huh?" Addy said trying to understand
"It's probably all just canned civil defence broadcasts triggered by the nukes" Mack said looking through a opened car window but didn't find anything so they carried on walking.
"Well" Addy said sadly "I just...l just wish we'd hear from somebody. Anybody at all...who's alive" And as soon as she said that they both heard groaning and then a thud.
Mack turned to look at Addy lifting up his hand gesturing for her to be quiet and he got out his gun. Addy turned down the sound on the radio and put it and her gun down and she followed after Mack who went and investigated. They walked through some cars and it was all quiet for a few seconds, Mack turned to point his gun in one direction when Addy saw a zombie come running from behind a car behind him.
"Mack!" She shouted and Mack turned and shot it in the head before it got to close when another zombie appeared next to him and he wasn't able to get a shot at him before the zombie collided with Mack. They both spun around as Mack tried to get if off him and Addy raised her whacker but she could get a clear shot.
"Mack! Mack, watch his teeth!" Addy warned when the z got a bit close
"I'm trying! Hit him!" Mack yelled still trying to shake it off
"I can't get a clear shot!" Addy yelled back
"Hit him, please!" Mack said and he managed to get his hand free so he was able to push the z's head away from him and just as Addy was about to hit it a shot sounded out taking out the z's eye sending it to the floor. They both turned to reveal 10k and Doc lying on top of a rv a few feet away and Doc waved. While Mack and Addy looked a bit confused.
"3,099!" 10k shouted
"We saw your signal!" Doc yelled
Warren's Pov
"You've made a real life for yourselves here" Warren said to the family. They were all still sat around the table
"Have some more goat cheese" The mother said lifted up a bowl once she saw Warren had stopped eating "My husband's been monitoring the milk for fallout, but so far, the winds have spared us"
"No, thank you" Warren denied she loved the taste of it but she knew if she ate any more she would explode
"I've eaten so much already. My body doesn't know what the hell is going on. I haven't had real food for weeks. Gave myself up for dead"
"We've all been there" The woman said sympathising with the situation when the little girl got out of her seat and came over to Warren and gave her a hug and Warren smiled grateful for the hug while the others laughed gently "We don't get many visitors" The mother explained
"Oh. How 'bout you?" Warren said enjoying the hug, the little girl pulled away so Warren was able to look up at her "How you doing?"
"A lot better." She said
"Now she knows why we don't go digging for roots alone" The father said with a pointed look
"There were never zombies there before" The girl defended herself
"It's the damn nukes" The father explained "Everything's screwed up now, even the weather"
"Yeah. Well... I have two partners that are still out there, and another one I need to find so I should be getting back to them" Warren explained and the man nodded
"Alright, then. I'm gonna pack you some provisions"
"Thanks" Warren said turning to look at the little girl and she lifted up her arm "Come here" She said inviting her for a hug and girl gladly gave one.
Once the hug had finished the father led her into the living room where he gestured to a map on the coffee table and they both kneeled down next to it
"Alright from what I've heard, everything west of this line here is a no-go zone" He said pointing down at the map And there's more fallout here and over here" He said drawing circles on certain areas.
"And I think that's the tunnel where we crashed, so that would put my friends somewhere in there." Warren said pointing to the map
"Yeah, that's about a 2-day hike. A little less if you go over the mountain"
"Got it" Warren said standing up and she picked up her weapons and her bag, and two big bottle of water smiling at the girl who was reading a story to her little brother before making her way to the door.
"Do you have to go?" The girl said coming up behind her and Warren turned to look at her
"Yeah, sweetie. I have to go" Warren explained " I have a job to do."
"Come back and tell us how it turns out, Promise?"
"Promise." Warren said pinky swearing
"Good luck with that Murphy fella" The father said as he opened the door.
"Yeah" Warren sighed as she walked out and the woman followed her.
"My husband told me what you did out there. It must have been horrible. I don't know how to thank you"
"Those kids - those beautiful kids" Warren said glancing back in the house before looking back at the woman "That's how you'll thank me. I was ready to die,and I needed a reason to live. Those kids...they're that reason. Thank you"
"Good luck" The mother said hugging her
"Got it" Warren said once she pulled away and she walked down the steps to the house and towards the fields.
Walking across the open fields for a little while, Warren thought they would never end when she finally came to a road. Stopping on the edge Warren put down one of the big bottles of water and opened the other one and took a big gulp as she tried to catch her breath, when from the corner of her eyes see could see a vehicle coming her way.
Dropping the water bottle by her feet she pulled out her gun and loaded it as the vehicle got closer and that's when she realised she recognised the bike. It was Addy and the others.
Getting in the back of a kart they had attached to the bike with Doc, Addy and 10k while Mack drove. They drove until they came to a town with a sign saying 'Cheyenne Wyoming'
"Oh, hey, my Spanish is terrible, but I'm sure this is what they were talking about" Addy said referring to the voice on the radio she heard before. They had just heard Citizen Z's broadcast about Murphy.
"I wonder who else heard that broadcast" 10k said
"10 o'clock!" Mack shouted from the front
"I see them" Warren said looking over at to parked trucks with a few man around them "Just keep going!"
There was also another car driving in the opposite direction with a woman driving and as she past she just stared at them " Folks are friendly here in Cheyenne" Doc said sarcastically
"Friendly ain't the vibe I'm getting" Warren said " Let's find Murphy and Ellie and get the hell out of Dodge"
"Cheyenne" Doc said
"Whatever" Warren said not looking amused " OK, so we all need to think like Murphy, Get inside his zombified head. And I know that's a scary place to be. But where would you hide if you were Murphy?"
They drove past a few stores including a clothes store as just as they were going to pass a bar 10k stopped them.
"Hey, hold on! You say think like Murphy?" He said and Mack pulled to a stop outside a building saying 'Live Nude Girlz"
"Hell, they might as well have his picture on the sign" Doc said
"I can't imagine Ellie staying in there though" Addy said frowning
"Maybe she doesn't know or Murphy wont let her leave, Because I very much doubt she would of left that lab willingly" Warren said as they all got of the vehicle.
Making their way to the building with Warren in front she pushed open the door which let out a loud squeak and as they made their way inside they saw Murphy sitting at the bar with a glass in his hand.
"Hey guys" He said lifting up the glass to his mouth to take a sip "What the hell took you so long"
"Murphy, you son of a bitch" Warren snarled
"Yeah. What she said" Doc said
"Now, now, Roberta" Murphy said with a smile on his face and he rose to his feet "Is that any way to talk
to an old friend?"
Warren charged forward then and slammed Murphy into the bar making his glass smash to the floor, and just as the glass smashed all the zombies in the room perked up and started growling until Murphy put up his hands.
"Hey,hey,hey,hey, hey, " He said and all the zombies calmed down.
"That hurt" He said glaring down at Warren
"Oh. I'm just getting started" Warren said "Where's Ellie?"
"Right here" A voice said from the corner of the room and they all turned to see Ellie standing by a curtain in the back of the room by a stage. She looked fine other than a bruise on the side of her head she was now also wearing blue jeans, black combat boots, black strappy top with a red white checkered shirt and a brown leather jacket. She also had her cross bow hanging by her side and her gun and knifes strapped in "I leave to go to the bathroom, and change my clothes and you still manage to get into trouble" She said looking towards Murphy who was still pinned to the bar by Warren. "You plan on letting him go anytime soon?" She asked her and Murphy tried to pull away but she just tightened her grip and turned to glare at him. "No? Ok, not that I blame you, also glad to see you all safe"
Ellie's Pov
"Now, come on, Chief. Hey." Doc said coming forward "Don't forget the mission. Come on." Warren hesitated and Ellie knew she was battling with herself so she stepped forward. Coming to stand next to Murphy's by the bar, Ellie placed her hand on one of Warrens that was gripping Murphy's jacket and Warren's gaze turned to look at her.
"Warren I know what he did was awful and I am so sorry I wasn't there to help you guys. But if you kill him now everything we have been through will be in vein. Garnett's death will be in vein" She said to her with a pleading look in her eyes and Warren turned to look back at Murphy and then back to Ellie and with a sigh she turned to look back at Murphy and pushed him away with a shove forcing himself even further into the bar.
"You damn near got us killed. And you did kill millions of other people" Warren snarled
"Didn't you get the memo?" Murphy said straightening out his clothes as he stood up. " The apocalypse means never having to say you're sorry. I was just following the prime directive of this mission - save Murphy's ass. Let's not forget -if I die, party's over for the human race"
"Well that's a lie not while I'm still breathing. Lets also not forget that the only reason you were in danger was because you put yourself in danger, if you hadn't of run like you always do the safety measures wouldn't of activated and if you hadn't of knocked me out I could of stopped Dr Kurian but now we have no idea if he survived and if he did where he is" Ellie said pulling herself up on the bar to sit down as she glared at Murphy who just rolled his eyes.
"You knocked her out?" Warren said "Is that why you've got that bruise?"
"Yep also sporting some bruised ribs from a guy who heard Citizen Z's broadcast came looking for him, I tried to help and got kicked in the ribs and backhanded across the face?
"You got hit in the face twice?" Doc said coming towards Ellie "Have you got blurred vision, do you feel nau-"
"Doc I'm fine, I did feel dizzy but other than a banging headache I feel fine now"
"Ok I did feel bad about that, but I had to get her out of there" Murphy said and he did look guilty.
"Since when was you so concerned with Ellie's well-being" Addy asked and Ellie knew she wasn't being unkind just genuinely curious.
"Since I found out she was my daughter"
"What?!" She heard Addy and Mack both say and Ellie really wasn't in the mood to share stories
"Its a long story and one I don't want to get into right now"
"And if you want to blame somebody" Murphy said drawing their attention back to him which Ellie was grateful for "blame that nutjob Dr Kurian. Or your little buddy Citizen Z"
"Maybe we should tie you up for your own good" 10k said threateningly as he walked closer getting a rope out of his pocket but he was intercepted by a figure in a white fluffy coat which growled as she placed herself a few feet in front of Murphy
"Cassandra" 10k said once he realised who it was and he quickly pulled her into a hug "You're alive"
"Ten?" Ellie said jumping down from the bar and walked closer to them when she heard Cassandra growl and 10k heard it to because he pulled away saying her name while he held her face between his hands as he studied her face. "You might want to step away a little bit"
10k looked up at her confusion going across his face while his gaze flicked between Ellie and Cassandra before it clicked and his gaze shifted to Murphy and he sent a deadly glare.
"What did you do to her?" He snarled
"Saved her life." Murphy said back and Ellie scoffed under her breath "What did you do?"
Just as he said that Cassandra snarled again and pulled herself out of 10k's grip and he stepped back while she just glared
"I'm sorry. What is she wearing?" Addy asked like that was something they really needed to know right now
"Is that mildly impractical for the apocalypse?"
"You try dressing a classy lady in Cheyenne, Wyoming" Murphy said defending himself as Cassandra backed away past Ellie and towards Murphy's side.
"Hey, is anybody else concerned that there's all these Zs standing around here?" Doc said looking up at all the z's in the bar and Ellie was surprised it took them so long to mention it.
"Hey, don't worry. They're friendly. As long as I'm friendly" Murphy said
"Come on, Murphy. We got to get you to California" Warren said
"Yeah. Um, about California..." Murphy said leaning against the bar and Ellie knew this wasn't going to be good. "You know, after everything that happened, the nukes and all, I'm not so sure I'm down with the whole saving humanity thing. I'm not so sure humanity's worth saving"
"You're going to California" Warren said deadly serious
"You don't even know if California's still there" Murphy denied and Ellie was getting sick and tired of it.
"You know what?, if he wont go I'll go. In case you all forgot he's not the only one immune" She explained glaring at Murphy before turning around in the direction of the exit and started making her way to the door. But once again she was blocked and once again it was by Cassandra who Ellie hadn't even heard move when she was suddenly right in her face a low growl in her throat. Multiply things happened after that. Ellie pulled out her gun and pointed it at Cassandra and she heard Warren shout and suddenly all of them had their guns pointed at Cassandra too who's growls were getting louder as she started to crouch, while the other zombies in the room were getting a bit restless too.
Ellie then could feel someone come to a stop next to her and she immediately knew who it was. But she didn't turn to look at him until his hand came into her line of sight and he rested it on her gun urging her to put it down. When she didn't she heard him sigh and she reluctantly turned her head slightly to look at him while still keeping Cassandra in her line of sight.
"Ellie put it down" He urged her when he made eye contact and he had the nerve to look disappointed in her "She's not a threat to you and neither are the other z's not while I'm here... Put it down" He repeated pushing down on the gun again and she relented.
"Their friendly as long as I'm friendly" He said turning to look at Warren and the others who still hadn't put their guns down, they all looked a bit confused. He then turned back to Ellie "And you need to stop trying to run"
"Says the guy who hasn't stopped running from every little problem, and I'm trying to run towards the solution since your to much of a coward to do it yourself" Ellie snarled resisting the urge to punch Murphy in the face and the other's could tell.
"Hey now, why don't we all take a breather" Doc said trying to defuse the situation as he stepped forward and pushed Warrens gun down and when she didn't resist the other followed suit, he then looked towards Murphy and then to Ellie and then Cassandra and back to Murphy again also struggling to grasp what was happening.
Which Murphy realised. Letting let out a big sigh he sent Cassandra to the end of the bar and away from them. He also got the other zombies to quiet down.
"If you won't do it for humanity, do it for yourself, Murphy" Doc said going back to their original conversation "You need that vaccine more than anybody. Have you looked in the mirror lately? You may be styling, but you're turning zombie, brother"
"Brother, maybe there are worse things than being a zombie. Maybe being a starving, fearful, violent vindictive human is worse. But, hey, it is the apocalypse!" He said saying the last bit more cheerful and he clapped is hands together "Let's have some fun! Let me show you what I've been working on. Come on. Grab a seat. You're gonna love this"
Murphy walked away from them and towards the curtain where Ellie had come from earlier and when he heard no movement he turned to see everyone looking at him blankly "The apocalypse will still be waiting for us when we're done.
Cassandra!" He shouted and she disappeared out the back for a few minutes when they then heard a generator start up.
They all reluctantly made their way in front of the stage and sat at the seats by the bar to see Murphy step up to a mic, a spotlight shining on him, Ellie was sat closest to the stage, 10k was next to her, followed by Addy, Warren, Doc and then Mack and Ellie struggled to hold in her laugh when she saw Addy hit 10k when he tried to drink something out of a glass before she took it off him.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey!" Murphy said cheerfully "Ah, so nice to see so many familiar faces in the audience tonight! Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it for the one, the only...Chantrelle"
Slow music started then and Ellie could see Cassandra standing behind some DJ equipment. As Murphy walked off the stage they saw a stripper zombie make her way on the stage and to the pole in the middle of it.. She then used her one arm to spin herself around the pole multiply times like a exotic dancer would.
"Oh...my...God" Ellie heard Addy whisper in horror and Ellie couldn't agree more
"Well, I hope she ain't working for tips" Doc said "Whoa! I'm having a deja vu" Doc said taking a sip out of his glass
"Murphy" Warren said
"I know, right?" Murphy said failing to see they weren't interested "Wait. It gets better"
The all continued to watch and they saw they zombie start spinning around the pole faster and faster each time until suddenly her arm snapped off and she went flying as she crashed to the floor, while the part of the hand still attached to the pole carried on swinging around the pole a few more times.
"Ta-da!" Murphy said as the music stopped stepping back up to the mic on the stage" I know. I know. The finale needs a little work. But, hey, let's hear it for Chantrelle!
Laughing he realised no one was clapping "Oh, come on!" He complained when suddenly they heard someone clapping very slowly making them all tense up. It wasn't coming from anyone of them.
They all turned their head in the direction of the sound which happened to be closest to Ellie to see a young man walk through the beads. He was tall and well built and held himself like someone with experience. He was wearing a bullet proof vest and had a automatic rifle hanging by his waist.
"ls this a private show or can anybody watch?" The man said and when he saw them go for their weapons he quickly raised his own gun "Ah, ah, ah. Leave your weapons right where they are. Don't make me
have to shoot anybody. There's enough zombies in this world already"
"What do you want?" Murphy asked him
"Your name wouldn't happen to be Murphy, would it?" The man said looking at Murphy keeping his gun aimed at the rest of them and Ellie was seriously considering murdering Citizen Z when she could find him.
"Nope" Murphy said after a few seconds of hesitation but everyone could tell he was lying
"Lot of people looking for you, Mr Murphy."
"That so?"
"This man, he's our prisoner." Warren said stepping forward slowly with her hands up
"Well, he's my prisoner now"
Uh, no, sorry. She's right. We got dibs on him" Doc said
"Yeah. And we're taking him to California" Addy said
"No, you're not. He's coming with me"
"Where?" Murphy asked feigning interest
"To the highest bidder. CDC in California aren't the only ones willing to pay for his blood"
"Why does everybody always talk about me like I am not standing right here?" Murphy said with an edge to his voice and Ellie knew he was up to something. "You know, there's only one problem with all of your plans for The Murphy. I ain't going anywhere with any of you. Hit it!" He pointed towards Cassandra who pushed a button.
The same music that was playing earlier started playing again, colourful lights flickered on and they could also hear zombies growling. Murphy wasn't controlling them any more and he was using them as a distraction to escape. Ellie was so glad that Murphy gave her, her weapons back.
They all saw Murphy jump of the stage but none of them we're able to stop him as the zombies charged and Ellie wasted no time in using her gun shooting the ones closest to her in the head and she could see the others doing the same including their mystery man, who had jumped over the bar and was now using the bottles to smash the z's in the head. Ellie saw a zombie grab 10k but he was able to use his knife to mercy it he then stared using the balls of the pool table. Throwing them at their heads While Mack used what looked like a crowbar and Addy used her whacker.
"We gotta get out of here" Ellie heard Warren shout when the mystery man ran from the bar and out the back door after Murphy
"I know. I can't stand this music" Doc shouted back and Ellie smiled slightly despite their situation.
"Let's go!" Warren said and she ran after the mystery guy who ran down a corridor, Doc followed after but before the others could follow a load of zombies blocked their path, but they were quickly able to put them down together. They then went after Warren.
Running down the corridor they came across Warren who was being pinned against the wall by a very large zombie and she was struggling to break free.
"Warren" Addy shouted and before they could do anything 10K grabbed a fire extinguisher of the wall.
"Look out!" He shouted running towards Warren who managed to push the zombie away from her just in time for 10k to plunge the hose into the zombie and squeezed the button. The snarling zombie started bloating up as the foam filled him up until he popped like a balloon sending guts and foam everywhere including on the others. Ellie was able to quickly dodge behind a corner wall.
"Well that was gross" Ellie said stepping out from behind the wall to see the others glaring at her as they tried to brush the foam off. "Doc you got a little... well everywhere" Ellie said struggling to hold in her laughter and yelping when Doc grabbed her.
"Come here and give me a hug" He said pulling her into him but before he could wipe any on her she managed to dislodge him sending him a playful grin which he returned. "Lets go" She said looking at them to see them all smiling slightly before Warren turned and ran down the corridor everyone else following until they got outside where Mack's bike was waiting for them with a kart attached to it.
Mack took a ruck shack of the the kart and pulled out some cloths for the others while Ellie surveyed the area, trying to see if she could see any sign of Murphy or the bounty hunter.
"What do we do now, Chief?" Doc asked Warren
"I made a promise to a little girl and I'm gonna keep it. We are going to find Murphy, get him to California,
and they're going to make a vaccine and save the world. And I'm gonna kill any bounty hunter that gets in my way." Warren said reloading her gun
"Sounds like a plan" Addy said
"Not to point out the obvious but we don't really need Murphy" Ellie said coming to stand in front of them. "I'm immune too" Ellie said whispering not wanting any unwanted people over hearing, she could also see Mack and Addy staring at her with curiosity but thankfully they didn't ask.
"I don't care" Warren said looking up at Ellie "You may be immune but leaving Murphy out here where he can turn people and zombies into his puppets is not an option. So getting him to California where they can hopefully cure him is the best option. And your immunity and your parentage stays between us, I'm not willing to put your safety at risk. So no trying to sacrifice yourself for us and defiantly not for Murphy. You got it?...Ellie!" Warren said louder when she didn't answer and she reached over to take her chin in her hands forcing Ellie to look into her eyes. "Ellie I get you want to help but we get you both to the right people first, not people who just want you as lab rats because you are so much more"
"Ok" Ellie agreed "But only if you promise me when the time comes and we get to California you guys got to let me go, because I could never live with myself knowing I could save people and not do a thing about it. Even if it means leaving you guys"Ellie said looking up at every member of the group as she struggled not to cry and they noticed.
"Promise" Warren said softly and then she held her arms out "Come her" She said to Ellie and she gladly accepted, walking towards Warren who wrapped her into a hug and she was soon joined by Addy, Doc, Mack and 10k. So then they were all sharing a warm group hug.
"This is nice" Ellie said "But if you want to get me to California, I need to breath" Ellie gasped out as they tightened their grip before they all laughed and let her go, but they didn't back up.
"You ok" Addy asked her being one of the closest to her as she rested her hand on her shoulder giving it a squeeze and Ellie nodded, wiping away some stray tears.
"Yeah..." Clearing her throat Ellie smiled slightly "Lets go find our runaway"
"Any idea which way Murphy went?" 1 0K asked just as they heard tyres squealing and they turned to see a car speeding away from them.
"He went that-a-way" Warren said taking off and the rest followed, apart from Ellie who paused and 10k.
"You sure you're ok?" He said standing next to her and she had to crane her head upwards to look at him because of the height difference.
"Yeah I'm fin-" Ellie went to say but she saw the look he was giving her. "Or I will be... Just everything with Murphy and Cassandra, finding out who he really is. Its just a lot to process and I'm scared ten, I want to be brave but it's hard. What if the people in California are just as bad as Dr Kurian, and I'm worried about Murphy. Elsewhere driving down a road a truck pulled to a stop and out stepped a heavily pregnant woman.
"OK, sweetie. Which way is Daddy?" She said looking down at her belly.
