"I thought we had this all worked out, that we had everything set up, arranged."

"Babies don't care about perfectly laid plans," Luna stated, looking at the small yellow bundle in Alicia's arms.

"Already takes after her mum," Alicia teased, giving Luna a kiss on the forehead.

"Exactly," Luna replied, giving Alicia a look, knowing she was always the first on the pitch during training, the first to arrive at an event. Alicia hated being late.

"I meant doing everything on no one's schedule, not showing up early to everything!"

"Then this little one is the best of both of us," Luna laughed, reaching up and taking the bundle, cooing down at the tiny little face peeking out of the blanket. "We do still need to figure out a name."

"I know, kind of silly to have left it to the last minute, but... none of them seemed right."

"None of them fit without seeing the face the name would belong to?" Luna suggested. Alicia nodded, her braids brushing against her cheeks.

"And now... none of them fit at all. Maybe...something different? What about, and I know this sounds odd, but what about River?" Alicia finally said. Luna nodded, her eyes focused on the babe in her arms.

"River is the perfect name. What about a middle name though, I don't want to use either of ours."

"I know some families give their children constellation names, or star names. Oh,I know! What if we did use our names, but only we combined them, cut out a few letters, Lucia, River Lucia Spinnet-Lovegood?"

"It's a mouthful, but it's perfect," Luna agreed. "At least we're not trying to name our baby after a broom model..."

"Nimbus is a perfectly fine name, if you're Oliver and Percy," Alicia laughed. "Welcome to the world River Lucia."

"Yes, welcome to the world, you're going to love it here," Luna promised, smiling at Alicia and their child.
