Captain Lord Voldemort sighed, good help was becoming impossible to find. His first mate, Severus had finally done the unthinkable. He'd jumped overboard because of that bloody siren that had been following the ship around. He should have drowned, but no, he couldn't even do that right and rid Captain Lord Voldemort of his existence. No, the siren, a curly haired creature with large brown eyes, had saved Severus.

Now he seemed to have joined her in her attempts to either destroy his ship or impede his quest to find all the treasures of Captain Dumbledore. He was getting so close! He only had the cloak left! Now, it was just him and a bunch of the crew that didn't know their arses from a coconut. He had hoped to promote Lucius to take Severus' place, but Lucius had apparently come down with ocean fever and in his delirium had tried to start a mutiny. He couldn't trust a man like that, who was obviously not in his right mind. What other reason could he possibly have for doing such a thing? Captain Lord Voldemort knew he was a good captain!

That should have ended up with him being dead, but once again, that blasted siren had somehow intervened! Captain Lord Voldemort had decided to show Lucius mercy, it was not his fault the ocean fever had captured his mind. Instead of keelhauling him, he had simply had him walk the plank. The siren, who Severus called Hermione, had swooped in like a bloody seagull and grabbed Lucius, adding him to her collection of those who had now made it their life's goal to ruin Captain Lord Voldemort's plans.

He was laying low right now, hiding out on a little island, plotting his next move. Maybe he should see about getting a new crew? He had a sinking feeling Lucius' little episode had made a few of them start to ask questions, and made them think. A crew that could think instead of blindly following his orders was a dangerous thing. Yes, he would start there, get a new crew, one that somehow was immune to the siren's blasted call!
