Chapter 3: Personal training
After dealing with the Wales problem and returning the ring to the water spirit most of us are back in the academy and were stil recovering from Henrietta's broken heart of seeing her love lost his life in front of her
I was in Louise's room and saw her still asleep. No doubt she was still feeling sorry for her friend Henrietta witnessing the death of Wales in front of her
I quietly walked out the room and headed for the kitchen to see Marteu and Siesta preparing breakfast for the students
"Good morning you two" I greeted
"Morning Peter" they greeted back as the two continued their work
I sat on the empty table thinking on the last wish of Wales back in Lagdorian Lake
'Protect my beloved in my stead'
His voice echoed in my mind. He was among the rare few nobles that has a stronger heart than pride in this society
'I won't have her live in pain' I thought 'I think I may have to visit her in the castle today'
After that I looked at the table to see the chef and maid smiling at me with food in their hands
"Did I make you wait?" I blinked
"Not at all our sword" the chef placed his stew in front of me "we just wanted you to enjoy your meal"
"Please don't burden yourself today" Siesta smiled "you deserve your rest after stopping the war against Reconquista in Tarbes"
I sighed at that, no doubt that she was both glad and worried for my life now. And I can't blame her...I was the one who made her life better and not to mention I rescued both her family and home from being destroyed by war against the rebellious members of Albion called Reconquista
After finishing my meal, I went to vestri court to see both Flame and Sylphid with their masters interacting casually...well, more like Kirche keeping Tabitha company
"Hey you two" I called to them
"Darling!" the fire mage jumped in joy before wrapping me in a hug
"Nice to see you too" I laughed before looking at the wind mage "has she been behaving?"
"Doing fine" she nodded before going back to her book and read like usual
After Kirche let me go, she pulled me toward her familiar and we patted the salamander making him coo in delight
"I hope you won't forget on feeding your familiar this time Kirche" I reminded
"I won't darling" she smiled
When I stopped petting Kirche's familiar. I was suddenly nudged by something and I turned to see Sylphid pressing her head against me
"Curious" Tabitha spoke closing her book
"I guess our mission in Albion together is enough for Sylphid to wish on knowing me more" I hummed "is it okay...?"
After getting a nod I started petting the dragon as she cooed in delight and then I moved my right hand under her chin and scratched it lightly
Sylphid mewled accidentally flapping her wings sending me flying backwards
"Ugh" I sat up shaking my head slightly "I have to be careful on doing that..."
But then I felt the dragon's head against me as if she was trying to apologize for the mishap
"It's okay Sylphid" I patted her head "It was an accident, just try to keep yourself from doing that again when I scratch your chin"
Tabitha's familiar nodded and licked my face lightly as if to make a promise to do better on the petting I will give her next time
"I have to go now" I said to the group "I plan on exploring on my own today"
"Are you sure darling?" Kirche purred slightly "you could spend time with me again"
"Tempting" I smiled "but I already decided to be alone for today"
Kirche pouted and her friend patted her back for losing a chance with him
After separating from my friends. I was at the open field outside of the academy, I placed the acceldriver on my waist and attached the memory adapter on my Gaia memory
Accel...upgrade
I inserted the memory and twist the throttle
Booster
I transformed into Accel Booster and flew to the sky toward Tristain castle to visit the queen personally
I landed near the gates and saw the guards doing their duty. Upon seeing me in my armor they let me pass the gate but requested for me to wait as they went to call Agnes
'I was not expecting this...' I blinked at the request
When the captain of the musketeer squad arrived, I was immediately pulled by her into the castle, my armor removed during the action
"Agnes!" I called "is something wrong?"
"Lady Marianne wishes to see you" was her answer while she kept pulling me
We reached the gardens of the castle to see the woman sitting on a table alone drinking tea peacefully. She was still wearing her black dress no doubt still mourning the loss of her king
"My lady" she bowed formally "I have arrived with Peter Lionheart"
The woman finished her tea and stood up walking toward me
"My lady" I made a quick bow
"Peter Lionheart" Marianne nodded "do you have the prince of Albion's ring with you...?"
I nodded and pulled out said item in my pocket
"Is there a need for this?"
"Yes" she nodded "I want you to wear that ring on your right ring finger when you visit this castle"
"My lady!" Agnes gasped "are you sure that is wise?"
"I am" the woman nodded before turning to me "please follow my command"
I nodded and slid the ring on my right hand. It glowed a bit before the light stopped surprising me and Agnes
"Uh, lady Marianne..." I called "why did the ring suddenly glow when I followed your instruction?"
"It is proof that you are a trusted individual by a royal family" she answered "you see, the ring can only be worn on the left hand who has royal blood" she explained "but it can be worn on the right hand by an individual who is trusted by royalty" she smiled "and prince Wales chose you to be that individual"
No doubt the significance was from his last wish/contract in Lagdorian Lake and the glow earlier was the proof of that trust
I coughed "now that I know I am trusted by the deceased prince. I wish to see the queen of Tristain and know that she is okay from her grief"
"Of course" the lady nodded "let me escort you personally" she turned to Agnes "you can return to your duties Agnes"
"Yes ma'am" the musketeer captain saluted and left
"She sure is focused in her duties my lady" I hummed
"Yes she is..." the woman sighed a bit "though I fear she might be taking her duties too seriously" before she focused on the task "now come, we shouldn't have you wait any longer"
We walked together quietly in the halls and I noticed some maids and butlers looking at us before resuming their work. No doubt it was the ring I have on my hand... they might believe me to be a suitor for queen Henrietta
We reached the destination, a pair of large doors of a room to which I remember is the throne room
But when I walked closer, I saw the ring on my hand glow. Making my eyes wide as it meant she was wearing her ring as well! I quickly pushed them open to see the queen of Tristain gazing at her ring in surprise
"Henrietta!" I called to her
"Peter" she muttered before her eyes went to my right hand "that ring..."
"Yes" I responded "your beloved's ring" I walked toward her and she did the same with our rings still glowing
"Why did you come here?" she questioned
"I was worried" I sighed "and I see that you are still grieving for prince Wales" before looking directly at her eyes "...you still miss him?"
"Very much" she now had tears forming in her eyes before falling to her knees "oh Wales, why has the world become cruel toward you...?"
I kneeled in front of the queen and lifted her face making her look at me
"Your highness, I know it's hard to move on from your love" I said softly "but the burden of prince Wales is not yours alone anymore" I moved my right hand and grasped her left hand making the two royal rings glow brighter "I promised him that you will be protected as you rule over Tristain, do not think that your suffering has gone unnoticed"
I turned to the queen's mother and saw a small smile from her before before turning back to Henrietta "Louise, myself and our companions felt your sadness that night" I kept my grip on her and the rings continued glowing "we all share that burden now. So don't you dare think this loss is yours alone...you have people that you can trust and live with to make a future for everyone"
"Peter..." Henrietta blinked and for a moment she saw Wales in front of her speaking those very words
Subconsciously she wrapped her arms around Peter and cried quietly surprising him and Marianne
"Don't leave me..." was her only sentence before the sadness took over again
I sighed that her heart still yearns to the lost prince and even though was trying to be strong for her lover. She was still in pain...I wrapped my arms around the queen and help her stand
"It's okay your highness" I rubbed her back gently "like I said before, you're not alone in this grief. There are people that felt your pain"
And to drive that point home, Marianne stepped in and wrapped her arms around us
"Peter is right daughter" she whispered "your burden of loss isn't your own anymore"
"Mother..." Henrietta looked up
We stayed quiet for a minute before separating from the group hug
"Do you feel slightly better?" I questioned
"I am" the queen wiped her tears away "I thank you for the surprise visit" her eyes then went on the ring I wore "and I see that mother has told you of the condition about wearing that"
"She did" I nodded "I'm surprised that I can only wear it on my right hand" I then laughed slightly scratching my head "then again...I guess this will help people see that I am not of royal blood"
Henrietta giggled at my awkward moment and started to smile again "oh Peter" she looked at me "once again, I thank you for your surprise visit"
Upon seeing the queen's mood lighten, I gave a quick bow and left the castle in high spirits on accomplishing my task
When Peter closed the doors Marianne looked at her daughter with a warm smile...
"You know Henrietta" she hummed "since you're engagement with the king of Germania has broken..." she smiled at Peter's efforts on comforting her child "I think I found you a new worthy suitor..."
"Mother!" the queen blushed in embarrassment
"Do not worry" she raised her arms "I will not force him to be your husband" a smile formed on her lips "he has yet to be acknowledged by our council after all..."
Henrietta covered her red face in disbelief that her mother just teased her...
Upon reaching back to Tristain academy, I saw Guiche with Montmorency and the two were smiling for once and not arguing today
'That's an improvement' I smiled 'no doubt Guiche is putting the effort to show his genuine love to her' and shook my head 'I just hope that we don't end up dueling each other if the girl can't decide on who to be with more...'
I made my way to Louise's room and saw her sitting on her chair with Derflinger in her hands
"Good afternoon Louise" I greeted her
"Peter!" my master shouted
"Partner!" my sword followed
"Where have you been!?" they asked simultaneously
I told them of my visit to Henrietta and the former was in front of my face
"I'm surprised that you didn't bring me!" she huffed "I would've helped her highness too!"
"Sorry that I didn't bring you Louise" I sighed "but I believe that I should try to do this myself sometimes"
"Next time you are going to see her highness, inform me first!" she huffed before turning her head and muttered "and bring me along with you..."
"I will" I replied with a nod "I just thought queen Henrietta would like a surprise"
A new day came in Tristain academy and most of the male students are to be drafted into military service to help fight and defend Tristain from outside forces Leaving only the staff and female students plus me to guard the place
No doubt the queen was pressured by the council to take action and prepare for another war
If only those negative emotions weren't so strong then the world would at least have more ideas on peaceful solutions than relying on the aggressive plans they have used throughout history...
As the men said their goodbyes to friends and love interests before leaving. I was with professor Colbert, Matilda, Louise, Kirche and Tabitha plus Osmond
"I'm in disbelief that such young people have to be called into fighting against enemy forces" the man sighed
"It cannot be helped Jean" the former thief shook her head "thanks to Reconquista...Tristain needs to improve it's military strength... if Gandalf didn't interfere that time then the queen will enforce every man in the kingdom to be in service" she sighed
"It is sad to see the young go into battle" Osmond agreed "but time is not on our side due to our history in Halkegenia... and the kingdom needs strength to be protected"
"Then it's a good thing darling entered the battle" Kirche hugged my arm "he was truly a man of a different caliber...!"
"Kirche..." Louise sighed not even raising her wand due to finally tolerating her rival after she stopped calling her zero
"Careful" Tabitha spoke as she turned the page "Peter needs training"
"But he isn't a noble..." my master blinked
"Personal training" the wind mage clarified as she kept her eyes on the book
I nodded at her words, after my fight against Daido aka Eternal during Henrietta's coronation as the new queen...I felt myself weaker than him since that guy has mercenary work to keep himself in shape
'I wonder if Agnes and her squad could help me a bit' I thought about the captain of Henrietta's security
But my thoughts stopped when I heard a roar in the sky, all of us looked up to see a wind dragon fly into the academy and upon landing most of us saw a boy jumping down to the grass wearing white clothes and a blue cape. He had blonde hair, fair skin and heterochromatic eyes; a blue left eye and a red right eye
"Greetings" he said with a charming smile "I am a transfer student from Romalia, my name is Julio Cesare and I will study in Tristain from today"
The reactions were expected...
The male students were making light glares at him and most of the females were swooning at his presence...!
"Am I glad that I found my darling" Kirche kept her arms around my arm "I would've acted like them..."
"And so is Montmorency is the same" I smiled that the water mage was still herself and not acting acting like the other girls
"Montmorency..." Guiche called to her girlfriend
"Do not worry about me" she smiled "after your contract with Peter, I will not be swayed by the likes of him"
The earth mage sighed in relief and turned to his rival getting a friendly wave assuring him that Montmorency will be fine
Julio looked around and saw Louise, he walked toward her making the void mage with warmth
"I wouldn't believe that such beauty existed" he kneeled down and grasped her hand "it surely is a wonder to see you in front of me"
Louise blushed at being complimented, making the other female students whine. She turned to me and looked slightly ashamed at the situation she was in
"It's okay" I smiled "at least there is someone here wishing to have your company"
I walked away from the courtyard with Kirche and Tabitha following me as my master is still being complimented by the new transfer student
"Darling" the fire mage called "aren't you going to defend Louise from Julio...?"
"It's not offensive" I replied "after Wardes declared himself a traitor and me still familiar status...Julio is a nice pace for Louise to get over that man"
"Considerate" Tabitha said as she looked at me "and trustworthy"
"Thank you for the compliment Tabitha" I smiled before remembering something "oh I almost forgot!"
I reached into my pocket "for enduring hardships and helping me throughout the battle against Reconquista in Tarbes, I present you a gift"
And pulled out a red ribbon for the wind mage and she saw the it sparkle in the sunlight
"Peter" she tried to reject the object
"Don't think you should deny it Tabitha" I hummed "you may be a calm, but I know you carry strong fire within you after headmaster Osmond revealed your status as a knight chevalier" I smiled "accept my gift and look at it whenever you feel unsure of your actions"
Tabitha reluctantly took the ribbon and Kirche tie it on her hair with her friend congratulating her that her darling has seen the girl's strength making the wind mage blush slightly
"You know I realized something" the fire mage blinked "you and I carry an opposite color of the ribbons" she then turned Peter "is this part of a surprise darling?"
"Yes it is" was his answer "I always see you two together and figure that a piece of the other's personality was interchanged throughout being together" he hummed "so why not carry a color to remind one of their companion...?"
"Oh darling!" Kirche jumped in joy "you are so thoughtful!"
I was then hugged by the fire mage and groaned a bit from her tight grip. And then saw Tabitha hide her face by reading again, not wanting me to see how red she was upon hearing what my gift meant to her...
The day passed by and I was sitting next to Louise listening to professor Colbert as he was teaching a lesson on metal changes through temperature and Matilda was beside him using her earth magic to help with the lesson
Sadly though, most girls in the room were not listening to the man as they were staring at Julio as he was taking notes
However the class was interrupted when the door opened revealing Agnes and musketeer her squad entering the room
"Students please go outside and prepare yourselves for physical training today" she spoke wanting no arguments from the class
Jean Colbert stepped in on asking why she would want to make children fight. Making the captain pull out her sword and pointed the tip at his neck making him flinch
"If the students cannot be able to protect themselves... how will they protect others?" she said bluntly before muttering "...and I hate fire mages..."
Jean gulped at having a sharp object near him and stayed quiet with most of the class walking out of the room as Agnes left the professor falling down and breathing hard while Matilda checked on him to see that he is okay
"That girl can be scary sometimes..." I sighed "go on Louise, prepare yourself for this" I turned to the still scared teacher "I'll check on professor Colbert before joining you"
I walked to the man as he pulled his collar to breathe better
"Breathe slowly Colbert" the former thief patted his shoulder
"Are you okay professor?" I asked the man
"I will in time" the teacher continued to follow Matilda's instructions "I almost thought I was going to die in this classroom..."
"At least you are reminded that she can control her skill" I sighed at the captain's action "I'll leave you to recover" and turned to Matilda "find Siesta to get some refreshments so he can calm down better"
"Understood" she nodded and slung Jean's arm over her shoulder and walked out to find the maid
I made it to the courtyard and saw most of the students look uncomfortable as they held a practice staff. Agnes instructed them on the basic uses of the weapon. But one wasn't actually happy at this type of training...
"If we are to learn battle" Montmorency pulled out her wand "then we should learn combat magic"
Agnes decided to show the flaws of mage combat by striking her in the stomach and taking her wand away
"As you can see here" she said to the others "you mages will be easily targeted when the spell is interrupted"
"Okay Agnes you can let her go now" I spoke "the others will properly train thanks to your demonstration"
The captain let go and went back to instructing the group as Montmorency groaned as she took her wand back feeling both embarrassed and humiliated
"You okay Montmorency?" I asked the water mage
"In a moment" she breathed "is this what it feels like for commoners...?"
"I'd put it as a maybe" I hummed "the noble status is pressuring... you work to keep the family name acknowledged after all"
She stood up and pocketed her wand before picking up her practice staff and started to train along with the others
Julio decided to give repeats of the lesson and went to Louise to be her sparring partner. The other girls went to him and watched the demonstration he gave while I stayed distant and watched him flaunt his affection to my master
'At least he's different from Wardes...' I blinked at the guys genuine acts and then smile at Louise's embarrassing moment as she lost her footing in her spar with him
I felt a weight on my arm and know that it was Kirche doing that
"Not going to train yourself Kirche?" I questioned
"I'd like to get a rest from Agnes' lesson" she huffed "that woman can be a slave driver"
"She didn't become the queen's bodyguard by being chosen, I was told that she trained rigorously and handpicked the musketeer members herself"
"She is that good?" she blinked
"Personal development" Tabitha answered as she decided to get a break from training too
I figured that was the case... for the captain to be acknowledged by the queen of Tristain and be her personal guard, there must be a drive for the woman to reach the position she has right now
But then I felt something off and quickly pushed Kirche away narrowly dodging a wooden sword
"You have good reflexes" a different musketeer spoke and she looked about Agnes height with short bluish-grey hair, purple eyes and fair skin "but are you capable of fighting me bare-handed?"
"Why did you attack darling!?" Kirche in distress
"Interest" Tabitha calmed her friend "Agnes' curiousity"
"You are correct" the captain walked in as the others finally got their rest as most of them panted from the practice and Julio was still with Louise helping her sit down "I have heard of your achievements from her highness and wish to see your skills myself"
"I hate disappoint you and your expectations" I crossed my arms "but I'm not going to use my Gaia memories against you or your squad..."
"What are you talking about partner?" Derflinger spoke "if you could use them now, Agnes will be satisfied and leave you alone!"
"Sorry Derf" I huffed "but those require me to be in a life or death situation" I then gestured to area around us "not to mention we are training not fighting for our lives..."
"You have made a valid point" the captain hummed "perhaps you can give a demonstration after lieutenant Michelle tests you..."
"I will" I nodded giving my sword to Tabitha "but since your second asked me about facing her with only fists" and raised my arms "I'll see if my body remembers how to fight against an opponent holding a weapon"
"Eager aren't you?" Michelle readied her wooden sword "then show me your skill!"
She charged at Peter making downward slash and he slid to the side punching her stomach
Baf!
He then moved forward to deliver another punch to the stomach before making a hit to her left cheek
Bam!
Pow!
Peter moved back getting some distance as Michelle lost her footing a bit at getting hit so quickly, she straightened herself up and looked at her opponent with a glare
"You are able to hit me despite my advantage of using a weapon" Michelle commented "have you faced this situation before?"
"People forget that progress came from curiosity and practice" I sighed "I was glad that the queen had you and your squad to protect her from Daido, although I suggest your squad have mages or magic items at least when going into combat next time" I suggested
"I'll put that in thought" the captain responded "now continue your spar with Michelle!"
I sighed again dodging another slash and looked back on my opponent
"Your familiar is interesting Louise" Julio hummed at seeing the guy dodge another sword strike and deliver jabs at Michelle's face making her step back a couple times
"Peter is a... unique individual" Louise replied as she saw her familiar disarm the lieutenant of the sword and pinned her down with said weapon surprising her, Julio and the rest of the girls in the area
I panted at finally obtaining my victory in this spar and Michelle grunted with light glare that I placed her on the grass in such a manner
"I'll get you for this...!" she declared
"You were the one who wanted to test me" I countered "Agnes will have to remind you about being a musketeer"
"Congratulations Peter, you have bested Michelle" the captain clapped a bit "none have ever been able to match my lieutenant before"
"I am glad that you have such a strong individual Agnes" I let go of the girl as she took the wooden sword back "she has proven herself worthy of being your second in command"
"Don't think compliments will make me lighten my strikes against you next time" Michelle huffed before walking to the other members of her squad as they would no doubt ask her about the experience
I sighed at her actions, but then again her pride a musketeer got wounded. I may be the hero Tristain, but I am still a familiar of Louise...so I will be expecting another match during these training sessions
Just then I wobbled feeling two soft objects on my back as I kept myself from falling
"You were amazing darling!" Kirche squealed delight "though with her declaration...she might attack you unexpectedly again"
"I doubt it" I pulled her off me "Agnes will be eyeing her second after this spar"
Another hour of training came and the girls were now very tired as Agnes and her squad kept their training in
Jean and Matilda arrived with Siesta in tow to help the students replenish their energy. I watched Louise come at me as she finally got some distance from Julio as he was helping with the food making the students regain some energy to receive his hospitality
"How was the experience Louise?"
"Tiring..." she sighed heavily "and somewhat refreshing"
"At least the company isn't so bad" I hummed "Julio Cesare seems to be nice and isn't someone like Guiche"
"Agreed" she sighed placing her head on my shoulder feeling comfy right now
No doubt tomorrow Agnes and her squad will do another training session
And I was correct...thankfully this time Michelle was with her captain in helping train the girls and not making an attempt to spar with me
Julio was once again a center of attention but he was helping Agnes with the training and the girls easily follow his word and he even helped spar to ease the fear they carry
After that session The girls were on the grassy ground panting heavily like before with Jean Colbert and Matilda Longueville checking them for heavy injuries
"How was the training captain?" I questioned
"They are improving at least" she crossed her arms "now about that demonstration I requested..."
"Right away Agnes" I walked toward Louise "I just need to get Louise's permission first"
After gaining approval from her, I requested on Matilda's aid on my demonstration my Gaia memories on and not injure somebody...
The former thief used her earth magic to crate 3 wide rock pillars as my targets while I ready myself
Louise, Kirche and Tabitha watched Peter place his acceldriver on his waist and pulled out his accel memory with Derflinger on his back
"Darling will be using his magic again!" the Zerbst felt giddy at seeing his beloved darling transform in front of her again
"Progress" the quiet student said not bothering with opening her book wishing to see Peter demonstrate his abilities before subconsciously moving her hand to the red ribbon that was tied on her hair
"You better not make a mistake in this demonstration Peter..." the void mage crossed her arms with a huff
Julio Cesare hummed quietly as he sat next to Louise while the female students gathered around him still in a love daze
"At least you get to be used Derf" I spoke "being still isn't really helping you..."
"You said it partner" my sword replied "I'm meant to be used, not turn rusty..!"
I placed my accel memory and twisted the throttle
Accel
My armor appeared and I pulled Derf out and inserted the engine memory and pulled the trigger
Engine Maximum Drive
I gripped my weapon and delivered 3 slashes on the first rock pillar creating a letter A on it before the explosion came
Boom
I opened my blade and pulled the memory out of Derf before placing him on my back again. I reached for the handbrake on my belt
Accel Maximum Drive
My body was covered in flames feeling the memory's power before I jumped forward delivering a spinning heel kick on the second rock pillar
Boom
I started to feel tired now but I wasn't done yet...! There was one pillar left and I have the perfect way to end this demonstration
I pulled out my trial memory and turned the stopwatch upward
Trial
Beep...beep...BEEP
My armor quickly flashed yellow the blue engine pistons appeared at my feet and spun upward changing the bulky armor into a much lighter and sleeker design
Instantly I pulled my trial memory and moved the watch back to it's place. I made a quick glance to the audience and saw that they were quiet and intently watching me...I turned back to the final target intending to finish this demonstration

And tossed the trial memory forward running to the third and final pillar delivering a barrage of kicks
Peter continued delivering his attack on the target chipping it down bit by bit...his movement blurred as a glowing letter T appeared on the pillar making the crowd have wide eyes
I stopped and grabbed my trial memory with the watch showing 9.5 seconds

Boom
The third pillar was completely gone and I was satisfied on my development but the strain was too much on my body... and fell to the ground as my armor disappeared
Thud
"Peter!/darling!" Louise and Kirche ran to me with worry and both picked me up slowly
"I'm sorry you two..." I breathed deep "Agnes wished for a real demonstration" I turned to my master "I hope I didn't disappoint you Louise"
"You didn't Peter" she smiled "you have done marvelously"
"Thank you" I smiled before turning to Kirche "is it okay that I rest...? I kept my demonstration going and it has made me tired"
"Of course you can darling" the Zerbst moved a strand of my hair away "you deserve it after showing your power to all of us"
And with that, I passed out of exhaustion
"Well" Julio blinked "that was enlightening..." he hummed "he's not the hero of Tristain for nothing"
Making the female students nod as they were struck speechless on Peter's use of his magic and the power he just showed...
"My word" Jean gasped at Peter's demonstration "he has gotten more powerful..."
"That he is" Matilda blinked at seeing him in his basic red armor and then transforming to his blue one "he truly earned the title; Hero of Tristain..."
What she didn't realize was that her face turned red as she was still busy swallowing Peter's growth in power
Agnes and her squad blinked in disbelief that such an individual carried strong, and unusual, magic
"Captain" the lieutenant called

Okay the second update of my Accel story is complete...I've made different changes this chapter like Julio not being very forward with his interest in Louise and Peter just being his honest self helping his master get over Wardes plus Foquet aka Matilda Longueville helping Jean Colbert in his studies of learning different things

Oh and I almost forgot since this is a harem fic, Peter will get multiple girls but I'm trying to keep the number realistic since I focused more on progress rather than romance... (I just hope not to go overboard on the list of girls who developed feelings for him)
