Katsumi Bakugou stared upon the group assembled in the dojo. For years it had just been her and Izuku but now it seemed like every week a new extra was added to the group. First it had been Pointy Teeth and then it had been Feet Dragger. After that it started getting out of control. Pinky started showing up with Pointy Teeth and Izuku brought in Ponytail. If that wasn't enough the fox girl would show up randomly and wouldn't even train. To be honest that pissed her off the most.

Right now she was watching Izuku fight Pointy Teeth with only fists being allowed. The boy with the hardening quirk had gotten significantly better since beginning training with them and could now be considered on a similar level to Izuku and her if still not their equals. She supposed receiving personal training from All Might would do that. Whatever he had done to impress the hero, she didn't know but he looked upon Pointy Teeth with nearly the same look Izuku's father gave him. A worthy successor that would allow them to finally retire. She didn't know how to feel about that. On one hand neither she or Izuku had been picked by the man she so admired, but at the end of the day even though she knew she should feel something, she didn't. Was he worthy of All Might's attention? She had watched and trained with the boy and could see he had real potential. Underneath Izuku, he had exploded in capabilities and she had no doubt that he could eventually rival the two of them, in pure determination if nothing else.

She could definitely see why All Might would choose someone like him over her. While it hadn't become obvious to her until Izuku had pointed it out. Her personality wasn't very likable. She never made any pretenses. Victory meant everything to her, but to All Might victory was only a side benefit. She wasn't and would never be like All Might. If this had been years ago then the thought wouldn't have mattered to her. After all she didn't care for who All Might was as much as what he symbolized to her. The desire for victory was still there, but now it was not nearly so all encompassing as before. Now she could see why All Might would choose a successor on other characteristics than victory. Did she like it? Not really, but at the same time it stung far, far less than she had thought it would.

As she was thinking it over, the match between Izuku and Pointy Teeth ended with Izuku once again claiming victory. Not once had any of the new extras defeated Izuku. Pointy Teeth was still catching up, Feet Dragger stood no chance in the first place without her stupidly versatile quirk, Pinky was good at dodging but wasn't able to keep up with Izuku, and Ponytail was always thinking when she should be fighting. As always Izuku stood undefeated.

Oh well, it didn't really matter in the end, so long as I can be with him.

Toshinori Yagi had arrived at the dojo where Eijiro often trained. Some days of the week Toshinori personally trained Eijiro and on others Eijiro would spend time training with his group of friends. Thankfully Eijiro was already quite strong to begin with so Toshinori was hoping he would only need a few months of training to get Eijiro to a state where he could transfer One for All to him. All in all it should have been a perfect arrangement with Toshinori spending time bulking up the boy and also getting him combat training. At least it should have been.

Hisashi Midoriya was a powerful figure in Japan. Anyone who was anyone knew the truth that the Amairin and by extension Hisashi Midoriya were far more influential than any one person or group had any right to be. Combine that with the fact that it was believed that the Yakuza resurgence that happened after All for One's death was planned by the man and one could understand his hesitation for his chosen successor calling the son of Hisashi boss was more than a little disconcerting. That being said, it wasn't as though Toshinori had any grudge or issue with the man in question. After all it was with his and Endeavor's help that he was able to kill All for One and put an end to his reign of terror. Of course, he still couldn't condone such autocratic control over the 'democratic' Japanese system.

To be honest he wasn't sure what he should do. The kid seemed to be fine and he knew that he shouldn't judge the kid for his father's sins but with Hisashi nominating the kid as his successor officially, Toshinori couldn't really separate the two. On one hand this Izuku was and is a positive influence on Eijiro but at the same time while technically the Amairin weren't an illegal entity, it was very much skirting the borders both legally and morally. There was also the fact that the boy and his blonde haired friend also knew his secret identity but he supposed that was small potatoes compared to everything else. For now he supposed he would just wait and watch before making any decisions.

Looking upon the spar that had just ended between his ward and the clan heir he saw Izuku holding out his hand to Eijiro. The boy took it and was raised up to his feet.

"Good job Kirishima, you've gotten better." The green haired boy complimented Toshinori's protegee.

Eijro's eyes seemed to sparkle at the praise, "Thanks a lot boss. Couldn't have done it without you."

"Now then. I was hoping we could get in some group training today. Anyone have any preferences?" The leader of the little group asked.

Toshinori went from relaxed to completely ramrod in a second, ready to transform into his alter-ego at a moment's notice. Out of nowhere a presence had appeared. Now Toshinori knew he was no longer in his prime, not even close, but for someone to so thoroughly sneak up on him was something only extremely skilled assassins could even think to do. Then he looked upon where this intruder was. A woman looking to be about twenty five with blonde hair, golden eyes, and fox ears in typical street clothes was sitting upon a box next to one of the walls of the room.

"If you want, I can help you." The woman said, causing everyone in the room not already aware of her to turn to face her.

"Kunou? What are you doing here? I thought you couldn't come today?" The Midoriya asked the older foxy lady.

"Ah that, don't worry about it. I finished that about thirty minutes ago and since this was on the way back I decided to stop by." The lady with golden eyes explained.

Midoriya cupped his chin with his hand, obviously in thought for a few seconds before asking, "I know this might sound a little patronizing, but you do know how to hold back right?"

"Of course, don't worry I won't accidentally kill anyone." Kunou responded chipperly.

The boy turned to Yaoyorozu and gave her a questioning look to which she responded with a simple shrug. The red eyed boy turned back to Kunou and responded, "Ok, but go easy. We won't be able to learn anything if you take us out in a second."

"Tch, the hell is she going to take us out in a second." Bakugou snarled.

"Woah, is she really that strong? Girl, that's so cool." Ashido gushed.

"If she's that strong then I can get some good practice with my quirk." Eijiro stated.

"Lady Kunou is a strong opponent. I can think of no better partner for our group training." Mariya posited.

Midoriya looked over the group for a second before giving a small nod, "Alright, Kirishima you're our tank. Momo, Kaede, and Mina will be our support and Katsumi and I will be the vanguard. Any questions?"

"Yeah, why am I on support?" Ashido asked, curiosity laden in her voice.

"Your acid flies far too slowly through the air and you don't have the durability to take a hit like Kirishima, Katsumi or I. Wait until there's an opening and then exploit that as best as you can." The clan heir explained.

"Rodger captain!" The pink girl exclaimed along with a mock salute.

After that they got in a loose formation facing toward Kunou. Toshinori wondered just who this Kunou was. He had never heard of her, of that much he was certain. But the way she moved exuded both grace and power, very few people he had met in his life moved that way and all of them were powerful. Just from that alone Toshinori knew that this woman was both strong and a master of stealth. In other words, perhaps the strongest assassin Toshinori had ever seen in his long career. Considering how Izuku knew her, that was not a good point in his favor.

Soon the mock battle began with a bang. It started with Midoriya charging toward Kunou with his katana ready to slice her in half which only resulted in him getting kicked by the assassin with the full force of a truck, sending him flying back into the arms of Eijiro sliding them back several meters. Bakugou followed up by trying to kick at Kunou's exposed side only to find her leg caught in the fox's hand. She was then thrown directly at the Midoriya-Eijiro pile up. Luckily both of them had regained their balance and were able to receive the flying Bakugou with only some difficulty.

Kunou was about to take advantage of this gap in defense until Ashido threw some of her acid in front of the group to prevent her from recklessly jumping in. Following that Mariya threw out what appeared to be a talisman upon a cannon that had appeared out of absolutely nowhere next to Yaoyorozu. The talisman seemed to burn up upon touching the cannon with a green shimmer appearing around the cannon. Finally, Yaoyorozu shot off the cannon as soon as the shimmer appeared. The cannonball traveled far faster than what he thought possible by such an old style cannon. The cannonball swiftly reached Kunou who was still backing away from the acid. Swiftly she twisted her body out of the way of the projectile that was flying at such a speed that even he wouldn't be able to treat the attack lightly. The attack failed to connect and instead went right through the wall behind her leaving a cannonball shaped hole in the wall.

Kunou stood back up straight from her twisted position and began lightly dusting herself before saying, "Well well, you didn't tell me your teamwork was so good. I might have to take it up a notch."

Midoriya, Yaoyorozu, and Mariya's faces seemed to darken with worry at the fox saying so before Midoriya turned to Eijiro, "Kirishima. Harden! Kacchan big-"

"Huh? Kay." Eijiro appeared confused for a second before accepting the command and hardening right away. A good thing because Kunou appeared right next to him a second later and punched him straight through a wall.

Holy crap, that didn't kill Eijiro did it? Toshinori was about to go after the boy until he heard a muffled "I'm good." through the wall.

Not breaking stride, Kunou turned toward Midoriya and Bakugou right as Midoriya was finishing his last word. "-blast!" Bakugou didn't need any encouragement and fired off a large blast with her quirk with Midoriya following up by slashing at Kunou. Of course, as Midoriya's katana slashed through the smoke all that was hit was empty air instead of their target. Kunou had already gone toward the group of three supporters and Ashido had already thrown out some acid to stop her approach only for Kunou to instead just run around the acid wall. Mariya threw out another talisman that floated in the air in front of her and created a shining green cube around the three girls. Kunou took one look at the new barrier and threw a single punch that caused huge cracks to spread out of the impact point of the shield.

Bakugou came rushing in from behind the fox, having been boosted by Midoriya and was attempting to grab hold of Kunou. Instead of dealing with the new assailant Kunou went in for another punch which completely shattered the barrier allowing Bakugou to grab hold of her target and unleash her largest explosion yet at point blank range. Smoke covered their surroundings making it impossible to see them until Bakugou came flying out of the smoke cloud through another wall.

Toshinori wondered if this place was gonna still be standing after all of this wanton destruction.

When the smoke cleared Mariya could be seen sweating profusely and breathing hard with a talisman in one of her hands. Ashido was helping her to stand. Kunou came out the smoke only to pause for a second as Yaoyorozu threw a grenade straight at the fox which went off mid flight before she could react. Mariya quickly threw the talisman in her hands toward Kunou, activating right before the grenade and creating a new green barrier around the fox. With a flash and a bang the fox assassin was blinded and deafened. As soon as the flashbang finished its job the green barrier fell and Mariya slumped into Ashido's arms.

Midoriya came again to attack his now sensory deprived target only for his swing to be deflected by one of Kunou's hands. The young man attempted several more strikes only for them to be deflected every time. Meanwhile Yaoyorozu came bearing down on Kunou's other side with a stun baton in her hands. Kunou was also blocking her every attack with practiced ease.

"Tch, Sage Arts." The young heir muttered under his breath. "We'll get nowhere if we continue this. Mina!" Midoriya called out.

"On it captain!" The acid wielder responded having finished putting Mariya down on a box leaning against a wall.

Ashido skated using her acid to help her speed up until she finally reached flinging distance for her acid. Acid was flung at their now stationary target only for Kunou to all but disappear from how fast she moved out of the way. An out of the way that just so happened to be behind Ashido. Ashido attempted to move but was caught and thrown into the wall and just cracking it instead of flying all the way through like her earlier compatriots. Now only Midoriya and Yaoyorozu were left to fight the assassin. Upon realizing this it would seem the Yaoyorozu was about to create something using her quirk but was quickly stopped in her tracks by the fox using the ponytailed girl's distraction to her advantage. With a quick movement Kunou was before the girl and already judo throwing her onto the ground, making her crash through the wooden floor. Midoriya was finally alone with the assassin.

"Izuku, if you surrender right now, I'll be sure to make it worth your while." The kitsune seductively voiced.

"I don't know what I'm more afraid of, that you're serious or that you're not." Midoriya responded, sweat beads forming on his head.

"Oh please, one of your stature is no stranger to having mistresses. In fact, if you want I could even be your wife. Such a thing would seal the agreement between the Amairin and Kyoto." The kitsune batted her eyes in faux innocence.

The boy's sword arm was starting to shake and he took a step back, "Please don't say things like that, even as a joke."

"Who said I was joking?" The assassin appeared right next to the boy and took one of his arms.

Midoriya dropped his sword and started to back up only to stop as he was already caught by the kitsune.

"Lady Kunou please stop encouraging Izuku, knowing him, he might just do it." Mariya had apparently gotten enough energy to move again and had walked up upon the two of them.

"Oh my, how bold of him." Kunou purred.

The Amairin heir sighed, "Well there goes my respectful image of you, and you." He pointed toward Mariya. "Just who do you think I am?"

"A shameless danger chasing casanova that doesn't think before acting." The Mariya stated as she took the boy's other arm.

"I'm not a casanova." The green haired boy grumbled.

The brunette gave him a withering look before speaking, "So you don't deny the others. This is why you need my advice." She ended with a smug smile.

Suddenly the blonde bomber reapeared, scuffed but otherwise fine as she jumped onto the boy's back. "What the hell do you think you're doing Deku! Why are you entertaining these floozies!"

How did the fight go so fast from group training to a romcom situation? Toshinori was starting to feel a little uncomfortable. He was here mostly to stop any fights before they could get damaging but now he just wanted to look away. It was kinda weird to be listening in on a teenager's love life.

"Woah, Boss is so manly!" Eijiro exalted, having finally gotten back into the room.

"I just want to know which one he's going to get with! You've known him longer. Come one spill." Ashido ordered Eijiro with her eyes sparkling, ready to hear any form of gossip.

"Uhm, Bakugou was here first and then Kaede came along with Kunou beginning to come around the same time you started." Eijiro scratched his head. "To be honest, I don't really know. I thought it was Bakugou at first but she seems to be really shy so I don't know at this point."

"What are you guys talking about?" Yaoyorozu approached the two gossiping teens still brushing off some dirt.

"We're talking about who Izu-kun is going to get with. You have the explosive Katsumi, the reserved but assertive Kaede, and the mature lady Kunou." Ashido proclaimed with a pose.

"Really? I thought he was with all of them." Yaoyorozu asked with a tilted head.

"Wait, really? What makes you say that?" Ashido inquired, getting up close to Yaoyorozu.

"Well, Midoriya is the sole heir to the Midoriya Conglomerate which is currently the largest private company currently in Japan so it wouldn't be very out of the ordinary for someone like him. In fact, I know that there were some talks of a possible engagement between Midoriya and I a few years back." Yaoyorozu explained.

"Woah, so you and Izu-kun are loaded? You totally give off that vibe but Izu-kun?" Ashido looked at the currently surrounded Midoriya. "Total shameless danger chasing casanova."

"Young Eijiro, I'm heading home for today, keep up with the training. We'll meet tomorrow." Toshinori told his young protegee before leaving.

He really didn't need to know about the love life of teenagers and a possible assassin working for the Amairin.

It took way too long to get myself disentangled from the three women that had surrounded me but luckily I was able to somehow get everyone into the gaming room. Bakugou was already absolutely destroying Eijiro in All Might Smash Tourney XII while Kaede was speaking to Mina about something. Kunou had left a few minutes ago so I was left with Momo sitting next to me on the couch.

"So, has the training been worth it?" I asked the Sitri heiress.

"Yes, quite so. Mother is always so worried about me getting hurt that it's stifling. Thankfully your father is one of the few people she truly trusts. To be honest though, one of the reasons why I wanted to come here is because I wanted to see why my mother loves this country so much. So far I think I can see what she likes." The Sitri looked over at the others. Kaede was blushing up a storm while Mina was talking vibrantly to her. Over by the TV I could see Kacchan jump up with a whoop and Kirishima deflate at their respective victory and loss.

I leaned back into the couch before responding, "Yeah I can imagine this world is quite different from the one you live in. Especially since you're an heir to one of the Pillars. I know I like this simple life far more than being some noble. Sometimes I wish I was born to someone far less important because as much as I hate to admit it. Japan is in a fragile position and I can do far more good as the leader of the Amairin than as a hero but." I paused for a moment.

"You still want to be a hero regardless." The black haired girl stated.

I sighed, "Yeah, ever since I was young I decided that I was gonna be a hero. That is what I had dedicated my entire life to. I know I'm not some saint, but even still I just want to be able to look at myself and say that I did good. Hell, it's not even because I feel like a bad person for not doing more good in the world than bad." I reached to my head and tousled my hair before looking up at the ceiling. "It's just that even despite all that I just know that it's right, so I should do it. I don't know if I'm even making sense at this point, but it's just something I have to do no matter my feelings."

Momo seemed to be deep in thought for a moment before responding, "While I can't say I know exactly how you feel, I do have a similar experience. My mother would often show me the TV series made by my late Aunt. I grew up in love with magical girls because of that." She pulled up her legs to her chest and wrapped her arms around them before continuing quieter than before, "In the Underworld Devils are expected to embody sin, doubly so for nobility. Apparently before The Day of Ruin two hundred years ago the Underworld had become quite unchained to such notions but after the death of so many things changed. The Underworld went into isolation and many believers of the Old Satan faction had the chance to bring back the old ways. Nowadays the Underworld is almost as split as it was when the last civil war occured."

Ok, I did not know that. But I can see where she was going with this. "And because of how many Old Satan ideologues are now in power you can't desire to be something like a magical girl."

She nodded her head, "Nowadays as a clan heiress of even the daughter of the current Leviathan who with Lady Lucifer lead the New Satan faction I can't show such weakness." I could hear her hands tighten and see her gaze drop down. "If only I was stronger than nobody could question it. Despite all of the posturing, nobody dared challenge my Aunt despite her proclivities. Such is the nature of Devils, only the strong are given such allowances."

"So you want to become a hero because you want to help people like a magical girl. Alright then, we'll both work together toward a future where we can do what we desire, how about that?" I asked the girl.

The girl gave me a small smile before responding, "Yeah. That sounds nice."

"Ooooh, expanding the harem, Izu-kun?" Mina proclaimed as she came bouncing in right next to us.

"What? No, why would I be expanding my harem? No, no wait, I don't even have a harem in the first place." I quickly chattered, waving my arms in front of me.

"What?" Kacchan screamed before getting up to see what Mina was talking about.

"Already on to Momo? Damn, how smooth can one guy be?" Kirishima half complained and half praised me.

"Lord Izuku, it seems I can't take my eyes off of you for a single second. Seducing every woman you see is not proper behavior, there is a place and time for such things." Kaede wagged her finger at me to show her displeasure.

"I didn't seduce anyone." I grumbled.

"Exactly, there's no way stupid Deku would ever attempt something so degenerate." Kacchan uttered with a nod of her head.

"Kacchan. You believe me." I sputtered.

"It's all everyone elses fault for trying to seduce him." Kacchan explained.

I sighed at that. "Kacchan, I'm not being seduced by anyone either."

"Then what the hell do you call what foxy did to you before she left?" Kacchan questioned as she got up in my face.

"She was just trying to unbalance me. Trust me Kacchan, we're way outside of eachothers age ranges." I placated, placing my hands up in a surrendering gesture.

"Kya, forbidden love divided by age. How juicy." Mina squealed.

I don't think she really heard what I just said.

"I think you're nice enough. If you can catch Kunou's attention then you must be at least a bit interesting. In fact, I wouldn't mind being a part of your harem. I've always wondered what it was like being in one." Momo said out of nowhere.

"What?" I said dumbly.

"Not another one." Kacchan grumbled as she facepalmed with both of her hands.

"Kya, tell me more girl." Mina jumped over to Momo and took her hand into her own.

"It would seem Lord Izuku's lust knows no limits." Kaede spoke softly before putting her hands together to pray for me.

"Amazing, I'll endeavor to learn from your example Boss." Kirishima said as he was crying manly tears and giving me a thumbs up.

What the hell did I do to have this happen?

'Really?' Angra Mainyu asked with great consternation in the back of my head.

I sent a dirty look at the Tsumukari Muramasa that was currently leaning against one of the walls of the room. 'I mean come on. Obviously Kunou is just playing with me and Kacchan and Kaede are just my friends.' I replied.

'And Momo?' The literal voice in my head asked.

'She's just curious and besides, Devils have different morals compared to humans. She is probably just interested as opposed to actually in love with me.' I replied.

'I see, you do realize the offer is genuine right.' Angra Mainyu questioned.

'I mean sure, but we're only fourteen. Why would she even try to get into a long term relationship?' I asked.

I could hear Angra Mainyu sigh before talking again, 'Look kid, you're right. Devils do have different morals to humans. That includes attraction to power and potential along with status. You have all of those qualities in spades along with already having literally shared your dreams with each other within like a week of meeting each other.'

'Potential? Sure I may have status, but that's in the human world and I doubt an heiress to one of the Pillars really cares about human status and even if that was true I have neither a Sacred Gear nor even magical talent.' I responded.

'Kid, the fact that you can even touch the sword without going berserk is enough for anyone to see that you have potential. That's not even getting into the fact that you've contracted me. My last contractor was a part of the Japanese Triumvirate and they practically controlled supernatural politics until they died.' Angra Mainyu explained.

'Japanese Triumvirate?' I had heard of them in passing before but I had yet to hear details.

'They haven't gotten to that yet? Fine, I suppose I can give a quick explanation. Over two hundred years ago the Japanese Campione, that generation's Red Dragon Emperor, and my previous wielder formed a sort of loose alliance which essentially made Japan the hub for the supernatural at the time. Many compared it to a golden age as it was a time of great peace and intercultural exchange between the races. Cooperation between the supernatural races and Faith mages became the norm instead of the exception. Hell, even the Mystery mages were far less dickish than they usually were.' Angra Mainyu explained.

'So they were big shots back in the day before the whole Day of Ruin that killed everyone.' I stated.

'More than that, they led the alliance against the Beast, The King of the End, The Infinite Dragon, and the ORT. That they won that fight is astonishing. That they died sealed their legends. The fact that you wield the Tsumukari Muramasa and furthermore that you are my contractor is quite a big deal.' The Heroic Spirit explained.

Great, even more expectations, as if I didn't have enough of those already.

Kaede Mariya was sitting seiza within her room on the temple grounds creating talismans. She had returned from the training today with Izuku's group sore but fulfilled. Magic was something she excelled at, especially Omyodo. Of course that was just a bonus to her family and the HCC. Spirit Vision was a great skill to have. The ability to parse through so much information to discern fate is not something just any mage can do. Almost always one would have to have some kind of lineage tracing back to some demigod or Campione if they wanted to even have a chance of inheriting some talent for the art. In her own case, she shared lineage with both. Even still, while Spirit Vision was not a unique ability among Mikos, especially Hime Mikos, it was very unwieldy and unreliable.

Out of all the Mikos in the employ of the HCC, despite being so young, she was by far the best. Only she could attest to having such clear and long visions. Usually such things had to be gifted by the gods themselves or one had to be a being close to one like a Divine Ancestor. Sure, she was held back by her reserves but she had already nearly doubled her Od Capacity since starting training with Izuku. Of course, that was mostly because she had started receiving more training from her family but a strong body was essential if one wanted to be able to actually utilize their full potential.

Kaede couldn't say she hated the way things had gone since she had met Izuku. Her family had sheltered her because of her frail constitution and due to the fact she was the youngest. To be honest it wasn't so bad until they found out just how truly gifted she was in Spirit Vision. Perhaps had she not been so blessed in the art, she would have been able to do more but because of it she was at far more risk for things like kidnapping. So she had lived most of her life learning the less dangerous magics due to her family's worries and not being able to go outside much because of the HCC's concerns. That all changed when Izuku took her under her wing. No one in the HCC really had the ability to object to the Midoriyas and so she was finally allowed outside so long as she was with him. She still didn't understand why Izuku had wanted to become her friend but because he did, she was able to make even more friends and enjoy life outside HCC protection for the first time.

To be honest she couldn't really say she truly understood Izuku. He seemed to have all the makings that one could ask for a successor of the Amairin, but he seemed to always be put off whenever the topic was mentioned. At first she had thought it was because he was afraid of living in the shadow of his father. Such a thing would be expected for the son of such a monolithic figure but she had seen how he interacted with his father, their relationship seemed fine. So she thought that he was hiding it through bravado but she could see no cracks that would form from such a facade. Rather than anything, he just seemed to be uncomfortable with the idea that he would be leading the Amairin itself. In his goal to become a hero, she could always see the certainty in his eyes, but when it came to the Amairin, she couldn't see the same confidence.

Izuku always acted as though he was just himself rather than the Amairin heir. She respected that. Whenever he acted, it was always with the belief that he was taking the correct action. Not once had she seen him change his ways to suit the situation. Izuku was always genuine so what you saw is what you got. He was like a beacon of light that destroyed all darkness he came across.

She wished she could be like that. To always strive to do what is right no matter the cost. That he was always such a good friend. To be so strong in spite of his limitations. Kaede looked up to him more than he knew. Even though he often acted before he thought and was often very inflexible she couldn't say that made her think any less of him. Of course, he wasn't perfect, that much she knew. That was why she gave him advice. After all, no one is perfect and no one knows everything. She would have been perfectly fine with giving advice when he needed it but Izuku actually listened to her. Nobody listened to her. At home she was just the sheltered princess who only be counted on to give prophecies, never to give her opinions or interpretations on them. That made her feel a way she had never felt before.

She was dragged out of her thoughts as she finally finished the talisman she was working on. The special magically conductive paper was made in another shrine on Kyushu. The ink was similarly farmed in another shrine in Shikoku. Even the brush, table, and pot holding the ink were specially made with the room being layered with various wards to ensure no accidents would occur in the process of talisman creation. She looked toward her pot of ink. There were several pots near it but only one was open and only its ink had been combined with her blood to create the mixture optimal for the talismans she was creating. There was still enough left to create another talisman so she got working on the next one.

She wondered if Izuku would compliment her talismans tomorrow.

A/N: And so the training is done.

I wanted to use this chapter to slow down a bit and explore some of the characters. Hopefully I succeeded in making it an enjoyable read.

By the way, just so we're clear only Bakugou is currently in love with Izuku and she is suppressing it hard. Kaede currently just thinks of him as a 'friend', Kunou and Momo are only interested and not in love.

Also right now most of the squad is currently at around low Mid Class in terms of strength. Most pro heroes are at around Mid Class with the best of the best being at High Class with Endeavor, Burnout, and All Might being at Ultimate Class.

Who's Burnout you say. Well you'll just have to read the next chapter to find out.

Next Chapter: Fire and Ice with a Side of Yakuza
