Violence. That is what encapsulated my whole last life. My father had died when I was young and left me without a strong father figure, but despite that I wasn't a particularly unruly child. My mother always worked her hardest to give me a good life despite the harshness of the world. However, despite her hard work and good heart, the world was not so kind. When I was eight she caught a sickness which she had no choice but to work through if she wanted to feed us and pay the ludicrous debt that she owed to the local gang. She didn't last a week. I was left alone in the world without any money to my name, so I did the only thing that I thought was logical at the time. I joined the same gang that had forced my mother to work to death. They kept me fed and housed as well as provided me training with the only caveat that I had to do work for them in exchange. Due to my age this was mainly simple things like doing chores at the base, pickpocketing, or scamming rich people.

Fairly soon one of the higher ups within the gang noticed that I had a proficiency for fighting as well as unnatural luck. He took me under his wing and by the time I was ten I was beating up adults twice my age. Over time my prowess steadily increased until I was by far the best fighter and enforcer in the entire gang. I had amassed a sizable following underneath myself, before I directly challenged the big boss of the entire gang. Normally upfront challenging the head honcho of a gang was a suicideally stupid move. Thankfully this particular gang was very strength oriented, so the whole challenging the boss for leadership was a fairly normal event. Needless to say, I won.

For the next few years I spent the entirety of my life fighting and either absorbing or destroying rival gangs. We collected various pre-war relics and vast amounts of wealth. When I wasn't leading the gang I would often spend my free time playing with all of my relics. Technology so far beyond our degraded state that reproduction was impossible. Such was the state of our decimated world.

One day my men stumbled across a vault that contained a treasure trove of pre-war entertainment. A working television was not exactly rare but the one's contained in the vault were extremely advanced. In this case extremely advanced also meant extremely complex. Such complexity made such electronics very hard to upkeep and fix when they broke so most of the tech we and most of our competitors had was simple and sturdy. The vast collection of material we acquired from that vault was both complex and brittle. Something that wouldn't have survived long enough to reach my hands intact without being left completely untouched since the war.

Most of what we got from the vault in terms of tech was useless to us in any practical sense. That being said, the vast amounts of entertainment stored within was enough to make even me start salivating. I watched many shows from before the war in my free time. It became my primary hobby until the day I died. Saying that, not all of the shows were made equal. My Hero Academia was a spot of brightness in my dark world. I wanted to be like Izuku, like All Might. My entire life was composed of suffering, fighting, and leading the gang. I didn't hate that life. No, I could even say I loved it, but I wanted to be more. More than anything I wanted to be able to choose the right choice rather than the necessary one. I felt like a hypocrite. All those that I've killed either directly or indirectly could not be counted. Despite wanting to do what is right I couldn't say that I truly felt empathy towards the dead.

Why I felt this way I couldn't say, but I just knew I wanted to be better. I had changed the gang from the inside out, so that what had happened to my mother would never happen again, but I only did that because of my love for my deceased mother, not because I really cared if other people suffered the same fate. I had done so many things because that's what I thought mother would have wanted, not out of a true altruism for the less fortunate. It was a disconnect between my desire and my emotions that couldn't be rectified.

I fought and fought until one day I died. When I had first awoken into my new life I thought that I could leave all of the bloodshed behind me, but as my new father stated. Conflict was in blood. I would fight again in this life, but this time I vowed to do what was right instead of what was needed.

"Izuku, wake up." I heard the gentle voice of my harmless mother. I was brought out of my sleep and sat upright in the luxurious chair I was sitting in. Yawning, I stretched out my arms to throw off any last remnants of sleepiness.

"Is it already time?" I asked my mother.

"Lords and Lady Midoriya, the Lady Leviathan is ready to receive you." A nicely dressed butler told us.

My father, mother, and I all got up off of our seats and began walking. Checking my phone it seems that I had only been asleep for about thirty minutes. Momo's mom had invited us for dinner but was running late so we had been waiting in the foyer for the past hour. We were in the capital for the Devils, Lilith so it was slightly concerning that she would be late. After a few minutes we reached the dining room where we met Momo and what looked to be her mother and father. The woman, Sona Leviathan, had strong flowing black hair and piercing violent eyes and was wearing a formal blue dress. The man, Genshirou Saji, meanwhile had bleach blonde hair and warm gray eyes and was wearing far less formal attire and was wearing a calm smile on his face. Momo herself was in simple streetwear.

"Please don't stand on my account, sit." The older black haired female said to us.

We all sat down after her request and my father spoke, "Sona, I must thank you for the invitation. It has been far too long since we spoke in person."

"Yes, that is true. How long has it been since we last did something like this?" The blonde haired man asked.

"Twenty years I believe." My father responded.

"And look at you. Finally got a girl and even had a kid. Hell, I think you even look less severe than you did in the past. Finally lightening up eh?" Saji joked.

My father delivered a small smile before saying, "I suppose you could say that. Although I am concerned the boy doesn't have a wife yet. Of course it's not like it's easy for the boy considering all the necessary requirements." I could see my father's gaze fall over Momo.

Momo was lightly blushing at the implication before Sona interjected, "Although I am not against the idea; I think we both know that such a union would be impossible for us."

"Oh my, is that so? How unfortunate, little Momo is always such a sweetheart whenever she visits. In fact, you should send her over more. I certainly don't mind." My mother told the Devil parents.

"You hear that boy? If you even want to look at my little girl you have to at least be Ultimate Class. If you even think about hurting her then I'll crush your spine." Saji declared to me with malice in his voice.

"Father! Please don't threaten my friends." Momo barked at her father. "And you can't tell me who I get to date." Momo continued in a far quieter voice and a pout.

"Yes Genshirou, do not threaten the son of our greatest connection on Earth." The Leviathan stated in a level tone.

Saji visibly cringed at Sona's words and quickly apologized, "Alright, look I won't crush your spine, but don't think you'll get away scot free."

"I do not intend to hurt any of my friends Sir Saji and if I do then I will fully accept any punishment you intend to dish out." I replied to him with a slight bow.

"Hah, you've got spirit kid. Don't think that this will be the end of it." Saji finished.

Soon after that the food finally arrived and we began eating. I could tell the food was ridiculously expensive, both in ingredients and preparations. On Earth if this was served at a restaurant it would definitely be a six star or greater. Of course most restaurants on Earth didn't serve supernatural ingredients nor did their chefs have hundreds of years to hone their craft.

A man dressed in rather formal attire walked up to Sona and said, "Lady Leviathan." Before leaning in closer to give more information.

Sona appeared ambivalent at first until an unhappy expression crossed her face. She got up from her seat before saying, "I apologize, but it appears as though I am needed elsewhere. Genshirou, please keep our guests entertained."

Saji had already gotten up and grabbed the Leviathan's arm before she had started leaving and responded, "If you don't remember, I have the hearing of a dragon. I'm not letting you go alone, this is more important than some little dinner. We can always reschedule this, but if you die then there will be no next dinner."

Sona looked as though she was about to chastise the man before seeing the determination in his eyes and letting out a sigh, "Fine." She turned to us and said, "I'm so sorry for my lack of manners but it seems that we will need to finish this dinner at a later time."

"Ahh, that's fine. I know what it's like always having something popping up when you least want. Although if you need my help, you need only ask." My father spoke to the Leviathan.

"I appreciate the offer, but this is Devil business." Sona briskly replied.

My mother clapped her hands together before speaking, "Oh I know, Momo can take Izuku out into the city to explore."

Saji's brow appeared to twitch for a moment as Sona responded, "That is acceptable. Take care of the boy Momo. Let's go, Genshirou."

Soon both of our parents had left and Momo and I were out in the streets of Lilith. The streets were bustling with activity and many little stands littered the streets selling various different foods and nicknacks. "So, how's UA been for you?" I started as I finished a kebab I got from one of the street vendors.

"Pretty well so far. I haven't stuck out as much as I thought I would. Being a devil and all, I thought my natural advantages would make me rather out of place, but thankfully that hasn't been the case." Momo told me as she was looking at a cotton candy stand with wide eyes.

I saw where she was looking and with a raised eyebrow asked, "Aren't you a little too excited right now? I thought you grew up here."

"No, I grew up in Sitri territory and while I did live near a city, I was never allowed outside without an armed escort." Momo explained.

"I don't see any escorts around us." I replied.

"No, thankfully I've been able to get my mother to back off since I broke into Mid Class. Now that I'm Mid Class I can teleport myself quite easily although teleporting others is still out of my reach for now. If anyone wanted to interfere with that they'd either need to be so strong that any escorts would be useless or they'd need to place a teleportation disruption circle in the busiest city in the Underworld without getting caught." Momo said before sighing, "It really wasn't that bad. While mother was overprotective it's not like she didn't have a reason. Many in the Old Satan faction would jump at the chance to kidnap or kill the daughter of the Leviathan."

Assassination and kidnapping were things I didn't really have to deal with. While my father also had many enemies that would love to see me six feet down under they simply didn't have the power to ever directly reach me. Hell, Dad even told me once that he specifically created prime opportunities for assassination attempts on himself because it let him know which organizations required culling. I did have to wonder what happened to all the assassins that carried out those orders though.

Strange. I could swear I just heard a sneeze that sounded just like my mother. Must be my imagination.

"So you're even more of a sheltered princess than I thought. While you do give off that vibe I had always thought it was more that you were just naturally polite. Very well princess, I shall be your partner for tonight's date. Do not worry for this knight shall protect you from all harm." I told the ponytailed girl with a slight bow.

Momo flushed a bit before holding out her hand and saying, "Then I must thank you for escorting me on this fine d-d-date."

She stuttered on the last word and her blush deepened. Wow, for a devil she is surprisingly pure. "Haha, you should see your face. I never expected to see a Devil stutter because they were too embarrassed to say date." I joked with a small smile gracing my lips.

Momo's face seemed to become completely red as I teased her. "I-I it's not my fault. The only experience I've had in romance is from books." She responded with a pout.

She does seem to be totally the type to read romance novels. "I gotta ask how much do you read? I mean I know a lot of Devils do it to help with their imaginations, but that's gotta go double for you since your quirk needs information to work. Actually, you know what, how do you have a quirk in the first place?" I asked, trying to deflect.

That seemed to bring her out of her reverie. "To answer your first question. In all likelihood far too much to be considered healthy. On the quirk question, I can't say we really know. It just seems to be something that can happen if one of the parents were reincarnated from a human." She answered.

"I suppose that makes sense with how those reincarnated from other supernatural species keep their racial abilities and are able to pass it to their kids." I reasoned.

"Yeah that would make sense, but from what we've been able to tell the inheritance of quirks is related closer to the soul than the body. It seems like the closer one's soul is to being human the more likely they are to inherit a quirk." Momo said.

"The soul, eh? I always thought quirks were way too quirky to be purely physical anyways. Like there's no way All Might's quirk isn't magic in some way. I mean no matter how you slice it the human body can't hold itself together at the speeds he operates." I replied with hands in my pockets looking up at the purple sky.

"It's believed that the source of quirks is an Authority much like the Sacred Gears." Momo explained as she skipped ahead of me a bit to another stand that had caught her interest.

Sacred Gears, huh? It's not an odd comparison to make all things considered. Albeit the majority of quirks are vastly weaker than even the worst Sacred Gear, but at the same time not even one percent of the population even have one as opposed to the eighty plus percent that have quirks. That being said, there's no doubt in my mind that All for One, even with hundreds of quirks stacked on him, wouldn't be able to match the raw power and potential of a Longinus Class. If anything that just goes to show why despite the fact that in theory all gods were equal in terms of raw power, some were clearly a cut above the rest.

While neither the Infinite Dragon Ophis nor the Dragon of Dragons Great Red had been seen in centuries, nobody disputed that beings of a similar strength to them like the Biblical God were in a class of their own. Afterall how do you beat someone that is infinite, can make any attack become unreal, or is both omnipotent and omniscient? The answer is you cheat and stack a crap ton of different high level attacks on top of one another to simultaneously weaken and hurt them. That was what had made the Japanese Triumvirate so successful in their fights against such opponents back before The Day of Ruin. Although despite cheesing the system so hard that it would make a power gamer blush, it still wasn't enough to both save the world and themselves. I suppose I'm quite grateful that they chose the world over themselves. None of us would be alive if that were the case.

"Izuku, did you want to go anywhere specifically?" Momo broke me out of my thoughts.

"Not particularly, I can't say I'm well versed enough in Lilith to even know anywhere I'd want to go." I replied coolly.

"Well there are several notable locations we can go to." Momo started before pointing to the looming palace in the distance. "That is Lady Lucifer's estate and the governmental hub of Lilith and the surrounding areas." She pointed to another building that dominated the skyline that itself was supported by white Romano-Greek Columns. "That is the Senate building. It is where disputes and other issues related to the governance of the Underworld are discussed. While the other places I want to take you aren't so easily visible from here, you can trust me that there are many."

"Is there somewhere we could just eat? I never got to finish eating earlier." I asked with my hand scratching my neck.

"Really? I thought you ate plenty earlier." Momo seemed sincerely surprised. I did eat quite a bit despite the dinner being cut short and eating various street snacks along our trek.

"Yeah, the healing factor makes staying full for any length of time kinda hard." I said a bit sheepishly.

She gave me a complicated look before responding, "I don't know whether to be jealous you can eat so much without gaining weight or to feel sorry that you have to eat so much."

"To be honest it's just a nuisance at this point. Besides, I should be the angry one here. It's not like I literally have a power that directly converts fat to items. Hell, even if that wasn't the case you could probably gorge yourself and only exercise moderately and still look like you're a supermodel thanks to your heritage. Actually on that note, I've seen you eat and it's definitely more than enough to keep up with what you use for your quirk." I spoke out against the injustice.

"Well as a low level shapeshifter as all Devils are, moving fat around isn't very hard. I just move it to less visible spots until I need to use it for my quirk." Momo told me.

I gave her a withering look, "And you're jealous that I don't gain fat from eating so much?"

That made her blush a bit, "I may need fat for my quirk but that doesn't mean I like it. I'm still a normal girl, you know."

"Fine, fine, let's just get to the restaurant already." I placated.

"Oh right." Momo perked up and grabbed my hand and started pulling me in a new direction. "Come on, let's go!"

Soon we arrived at a nice upper class restaurant that looked exactly like what I would expect coming from her. The dinner was nice although we didn't get to talk much. While she didn't need my caloric intake to sustain her size, extra fat for her quirk was always useful, so we both ate so much that the other guests were either looking at us in disgust or amazement at the pure mountain of food we were both eating. Soon we were back on the streets.

"Where to next?" I asked.

"Why don't we go to Lucifer palace. Ludos might be there." Momo said.

"Ludos?" I asked. That sounded familiar.

"Ah, Ludos is the son of Lady Lucifer and since he has already come of age he sometimes works with his mother as the heir apparent to Clan Gremory. He comes off as a bit unreliable at times, but when the chips are down he's the most talented in our generation." Momo explained to me as we started walking toward our new destination.

"Huh, sounds interesting. Is there anything I should know about him?" I hoped to stop any potential misunderstanding from ever occurring.

"A few I suppose. First of all, no one knows who his father is as Lady Lucifer has not taken a new husband since he died all those years ago nor has she proclaimed the father publicly. I would recommend not touching upon the subject as while Ludos doesn't really care, the fact is still usually used by many in high society as an insult against his mother's reputation. Secondly, while he's usually laid back I would not recommend attempting to challenge him. He has a competitive streak that few Devils can match. Thirdly, don't take him too seriously. He tends to tease quite a bit so be prepared for that." Momo laid out the do's and don'ts.

That's interesting. I responded, "I see, what does he do?"

"He mostly helps the Underworld run properly. Paperwork and the like along with helping in cases of high level crime. Things like that." Momo stated.

"So a lot of boring paperwork interspersed with crime fighting?" I asked.

"Well in reality it's mostly just paperwork. Nobody would be stupid enough to start something in Lilith." Momo declared.

Her statement should have been reassuring but for some reason I didn't feel all that reassured.

As if on cue I heard a voice speak from behind me, "Oh nobody's stupid enough to start something in Lilith and be found that is."

My response was immediate. I had already pulled out the Tsumukari Muramasa by the time I had turned to face the owner of the voice. The one who had spoken was a man adorned in rather fanciful clothing with two others flanking him. "I'm sorry, but I can't say I know any of you, so if you would introduce yourselves I would be very grateful." I spoke to the group.

"Why would we tell you, a lesser being our illustrious names. Rather you should be grateful that we have so graciously given you our time. Of course, you can repay us with your life." A sadistic grin was spread across the Devil's face.

"You won't get away with this. The Bael Clan prides itself on the safety of Lilith. Are you really sure you want to earn their ire." Momo spoke with an austere tone I hadn't heard her ever speak in before.

"The Bael Clan is run by that incompetent who didn't even inherit the glorious power of our forefathers. I don't fear them anymore than I fear your mother." The Devil taunted.

I looked around our surroundings as the conversation progressed. Luckily it seemed like our enemies loved talking. We were in a sizable alleyway, they were probably waiting for us to go into one so we'd be out of sight. 'Angra, how strong are those three?' I asked the god. While I could generally get a sense of someone's strength based on their physique, stance, and movements, it was harder for devils. Their limited shapeshifting abilities made it far harder to tell how hard they trained just by looking at them and those born into strong clans could be High Class just through the virtue of living long enough. It wasn't like I was completely blind as I could pretty easily tell how skilled they were by their stance.

'The talking one is High Class but his two lackeys are Mid. You'll need to use some of my curses if you want to be able to fight the leader on an even playing field.'

'Will they even let me finish the chant?' I asked the blade spirit. If I couldn't finish the chant then I couldn't get any of the benefits that our contract provided. The only way to circumvent that limitation would be to feed the blade an exorbitant amount of blood.

'Don't know. They're obviously Devil supremacists and that'll make em more likely to underestimate you, but they should still know how strong the Tsumukari Muramasa is.' Angra Mainyu responded.

I held the Tsumukari Muramasa in my right hand and put my left near the blade of the sword. "I call upon All the Evils of the Wo-" I got midway through my first sentence before the Devil who oh so loved speaking on the greatness of his species stopped speaking midway through his sentence and launched himself at me with a sword appearing in his hands. Our blades clashed as I was pushed back by the Devil's superior strength. "Get out of here Momo; I'll be fine!" I yelled at my friend.

Hoping that she had heard me, I turned to my enemy to give him my full attention. I took every one of his strikes head on. It launched me back with every strike at least a meter and my wrists felt like they were about to be ripped off but I stayed resolute and didn't redirect or twist out of the way of any of them. Without the boost from Angra, we just weren't in the same weight class. Despite how sloppy my opponent was being with both his blade and footwork I couldn't capitalize on any of it because he was just too fast. Thankfully he was predictable, very predictable. It appeared as though he was getting tired of this fight already because in the most egregious disgrace of swordsmanship I had ever seen he wound up for a powerblow that left him completely open and would be far too slow and predictable for anyone of a similar level to ever be caught by. Unfortunately I was not on his level but I could dodge the strike if I so wanted. I chose to take it.

I was sent flying at least twenty meters and onto the streets outside of the alleyway we were in previously. I was able to control my descent and landed in a perfect roll and sprung back up to meet the Devil's oncoming blade. There was an uproar immediately as everyone on the street witnessed the duel between the High Class Devil and I. I felt like all the bones in my hand were completely broken but I kept my stance and hold. Coming upon me the Devil looked somewhat angry and went for another powerstrike. I took his sword head on again but instead of taking the full brunt of the attack again I deflected the swing, leveraging my blade so as to redirect the force of the blow. I didn't move at all this time. The Devil appeared surprised that I had taken his attack without sliding back as I had before and that he had become unbalanced due to my deflection.

I went straight for his jugular with my sword as he was both off balance and had left himself completely exposed. Unfortunately his speed still far outclassed mine and blocked the attack while taking a few steps back himself. "I'll accept that as the wielder of Tsumukari Muramasa you are far beyond any normal human but don't think you'll win against a pureblood like me, you mongrel." The Devil raged at me.

My enemy went to strike again as I readied myself for more of his powerful attacks. I was lucky that he relied almost entirely on his natural strength as opposed to actually having any skill. It was clear to me that he had never had a serious fight before in his entire life. Judging by his mannerisms and attire he was a noble. Likely from a branch family of one of the main clans. His circumstances of birth had covered his complete lack of effort. There was a reason why there were so many Devil supremacists. Out of all the supernatural races they had the highest natural talent for destruction and the least for defense. Especially against their enemies from the Great War, they were glass cannons.

Unfortunately, they were weak to the holy attribute and light and I wielded a cursed sword. While curses would still hurt him, as a Devil he possessed superior resistance to them compared to most other races. I needed to figure out a way to stall him for longer. My superior skill will only prolong the duel so long. Luckily I didn't have to wait for long as backup had arrived in the form of Momo sending a pressurized blast of water right at the Devil.

"Momo! What are you doing here?" I asked the ponytailed girl.

"I couldn't just leave you behind. I took care of the other two, let me help you." Momo begged.

There are so many ways this could go wrong but I can't just send her away. "Alright, we're in this together."

"Those weaklings dare to lose. I'll skin them alive for their failures, but first." The Devil said before opening up a tiny black portal which he reached into to grab something. A small syringe was now in his hands that contained a greenish liquid. "I'll have to see if this damn thing actually works. Now why don't you come over here little girl and become my test subject." He moved at a blindly fast pace and zipped past right toward Momo and I ran after him.

"Now you'll see why you're just a half-breed failure." The Devil yelled as he brought the syringe right down on Momo's neck.

What happened next was so fast that I could barely see it, but in an instant the Devil's hand that was holding the syringe was completely separated from his body. In the next moment the Old Satan fanatic was in a completely different spot nearly ten meters away from his target with a new Devil appeared right behind the Old Satan fanatic and punched straight through his chest. The Old Satan fanatic could see the hand coming out his chest holding an object. An object that just so happened to be his very own heart. The new Devil crushed the heart right in front of his very eyes and then pulled his hand back out of the man. The Old Satan fanatic fell to the ground dead.

The new Devil turned to face us. He was a young man with short crimson red hair and brown eyes. His attire looked like standard noble garments if not exceptionally well made.

Holy crap, so this is what an Ultimate Class can do when they don't care about the life of the person they are fighting. He turned to look at me with a serious gaze before Momo spoke, "Ludos! What are you doing here?"

My eyes widened slightly in surprise, "That's Ludos?"

Upon hearing Momo's voice the Devil's demeanor appeared to soften. "The one and only." He replied in a jovial tone, giving us a lopsided grin despite the blood staining his garments and hand. "And to answer your question little Mo. I got reports of a fight breaking out in Lilith and well I can't just ignore an injustice happening right in town."

Momo crossed her arms and spoke, "You just wanted to get away from the paperwork."

Ludos gripped where his heart would be with his not bloodied hand in faux pain, "I've been seen right through. How could this happen?"

I looked between Ludos's jovial appearance and the literally heartless corpse on the ground not even a meter away from him. "Thanks for the assist. We don't know what wherever was in that syringe would have done had you not been able to stop him." I thanked the man.

A look of realization crossed the red haired man's face and he stepped a few feet closer to me with his hand out. Of course the one without viscera covering it before talking, "Ah, you must be Izuku. Right? A pleasure to finally meet you. Your father is one of the best mages I've ever seen and has helped both Momo and I's families more times than I can count."

I took the Devil's hand and replied, "No the pleasure's all mine. Afterall I failed to protect Momo in the first place. Besides, I'd never thought I'd meet someone so young in Ultimate Class."

"Hahaha. Yeah Uncle Sairaorg helped me get to where I am. It was a bit tough for a lazy guy like me, but well the results speak for themselves." The red haired devil spoke as I looked at the results of said training lying dead on the ground.

"Sairaorg, he's the current Lord Bael if I'm not mistaken." I replied.

Momo interjected, "Yep, he's the one of the Consuls of the Senate and helped train a lot of the younger generation. Although Ludos actually apprenticed under him for a while."

"He's a good guy. I should introduce you two sometime-" The Ultimate Class Devil started before he was interrupted by another Devil wearing a standard police uniform. A few had approached us as we had talked.

"Captain, we have the two other assailants cuffed. It seems like they're already willing to talk."

Ludos turned toward the officer and asked, "Already?"

"Yes, as soon as we started asking them about the syringes they had on their person they started acting erratically. They said they would tell us anything as long as they didn't have to talk about them." The Devil policeman responded.

"The stuff they tried to inject Momo with." Ludos mused before turning telling the officer, "Get them down to interrogations, we need to know if they're under any geas or another contract is preventing them from speaking."

"Yes sir." The officer gave a salute before walking off again.

"What the hell was in the syringe if they'll agree to tell you anything but that?" I asked the red haired noble.

"That's something we'll have to find out later. I need to finish this up. Momo, you and the Midoriya should go somewhere safe for the time being." The man turned back to me again, held his hand out for a shake and spoke, "As for you. I apologize we had to meet under such, auspicious circumstances but I hope we will be able to see each other again soon."

I took his hand and shook before responding, "I as well. Perhaps we can get to know each other better sooner rather than later."

Soon Momo and I had left for the Sitri residence and spoke for a while before I returned to the human world. I spoke to my father on what had happened once I returned over dinner later that day. Mother was finishing preparing the last of the food while I was talking to my father.

"What do you think was in the syringe?" I asked my old man.

My father mused upon that for a moment before answering, "I've heard rumblings of the Old Satan's dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs. The attack itself could have been written off as just a group of radicals but whatever is in the syringe could be worldchanging."

"Worldchanging?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, it is just a theory but perhaps the Old Satan faction could be developing a drug that only affects non-pure blooded Devils." My father explained.

"And in doing so destroy the majority of the New Satan's support base." I stated.

"Come now, no talking about conspiracy theories at the dinner table." My mother said while approaching with the last of the cooked food, laying down on the table.

"Yes dear."

"Yes mother."

Still, I couldn't get that niggling feeling out of my head that something more was going on.

A/N: So Izuku survives yet another family dinner.

Sorry for the late release, this chapter was just really hard to write for some reason. Hopefully I'll get the next one out alot faster.

So Ludos as per DxD tradition's name is the combination of two pokemon names. Lucario and Gyrados. His name actually has ancient latin roots that mean games and fun. While we didn't get to see it much this chapter he is very much a laid back, in it for the fun type character. That being said, he still has a big sense of duty and responsibility. By the way right now he is a young adult at 18.

Next Chapter: Lost Little Godslayer

Till next time signing out.
