Sorry its been so long! I just realized this one never got posted for some reason. Here is a chapter the help fill in a gap that I made by accident!

Last time: An interesting discussion happened regarding the return of Maul.

Now: Everyone is plagued with nightmares.

Chapter 8- Dark Nightmares

Darkness filled the room. Only a teal lightsaber illuminated the chamber. However, only boxes were visible. Sasha walked through the boxes, looking left and right. Where was she? How did she get there? And what or who was she looking for? She was looking for something as something was urging her forward. As she moved forward, Sasha kept looking in the room around her. Nothing but boxes was there with her. But the force was telling her she wasn't alone.

Suddenly, a red blade flashed in front of her and caused her to stagger backwards. She kept her footing and moved her lightsaber in front of herself to protect herself from the sudden red blade. As the red blade moved forward from behind the box, Maul appeared before her. Sasha growled at him as he approached her.

"I will kill your Master," Maul said as he snarled at her. "Don't get in my way, or I will kill you too."

"You will never get your hands on him," Sasha barked. "We will stop you."

Maul vanished from in front of her and then suddenly appeared behind her. His arm wrapped around her neck as he grappled her from behind. The hand that had held his lightsaber no longer held his blade, but instead grabbed her arm and twisted it so she dropped her own lightsaber. Her lightsaber clattered to the ground, but didn't shut off like it normally would. Instead it under lit the two of them as Maul kept her restrained against him. She could feel his chest rise and fall against her back. She could also feel his breath against her ear as he leaned in close.

"No one can stop me," Maul hissed in her ear. "I will get my revenge and I will do so by killing Kenobi and you."

Sasha struggled against him as she tried to escape his grasp, but instead he tightened his grip. Sasha felt her breathing being restricted. And the arm he had twisted to make her drop her weapon was now twisted behind her back. She could feel his nails digging into her arm as if her bracer wasn't there to protect her.

"I won't let you!" Sasha cried as she still struggled against him.

"And what makes you think you are strong enough?" Maul asked.

"I know I'm…" Sasha started, but was cut off with a gasp.

Looking down, Sasha noticed the dark saber was piercing through her torso. She felt blood bubble at her lips as Maul released his grip on her and let her drop to the ground. Sasha felt her body go weak as she fell forward and…

"AHH!" Sasha gasped awake as she shot straight up in bed.

Panting, Sasha looked around as she blinked rapidly. She realized she was back in her bed room. With a shaking hand, Sasha placed a hand on her stomach where the lightsaber had punctured through. She didn't feel a hole or blood. Sasha looked down and noticed there was nothing there under her hand. It was just her shirt. With a sigh, Sasha dropped her hand and placed her head in her hands. That dream felt so real. The pain she felt, felt so real. But it was only a dream.

Wiping the sweat from her face, Sasha glanced at the chrono on the wall. It was about two in the morning. With a shaking hand, Sasha pulled the covers off of her as she swung her legs over the bed. Pushing herself off the bed, Sasha moved from her room in a daze. There was no way she was getting any more sleep tonight. And she needed to clear her mind. So Sasha went to the small kitchen to make a pot of tea to help calm her mind.

The explosion rocked the sky as he was thrown to the ground. He could his ribs break and feel smoke fill his lungs. Obi-Wan looked up and saw Satine trapped under the wreckage that flew off the ship. Raising his hand, he used the force and moved the wreckage away from her unconscious form. Then he saw him. Then he saw Maul and his brother Savage appearing from the smoke towards them.

The scene then changed. Maul was still approaching Obi-Wan, but this time they were in the throne room. Maul was walking down from the throne. He was talking to Obi-Wan, but his words weren't being heard by Obi-Wan's ears. It was as if everything was muffled as his ears rung still from the explosion. Then Satine was raised from her knees. She was gasping for air as Maul held her in a force choke. Then he pulled her forward and stabbed her with the Dark Saber. Her gasp was the first noise since the explosion that filled his ears.

Obi-Wan escaped the grasp of the Mandalorian Commandos to catch her. He gathered her from the floor and into his arms. As he rotated her in his arms, he gasped when he looked at her face. It wasn't Satine he was holding in his arms. It was Sasha. Her body was covered in grievous injuries, blood was pooling at her lips, and her eyes were glazed over. There was a lightsaber wound in her stomach just like Satine, but her other injuries were a mystery to him.

"Master…" Sasha struggled to say as blood slid down her chin. "I'm sorry…"

"Sasha, stay strong," Obi-Wan begged as he felt tears fill his eyes. "You will be okay."

"Obi-Wan… please… I…" Sasha tried to say, but her breathing slowed then it stopped. Her headed lulled to the side. She was dead.

"Sasha! Sasha! NO!" Obi-Wan cried out as she shook her dead form in his arms.

"SASHA!" Obi-Wan cried out as he shot up straight in his bed.

His body was covered in sweat and his breathing was rapid. Obi-Wan wiped his face as he looked around at the chrono on the wall in his room. It was a little past two in the morning. With a shaking breath, Obi-Wan swung his legs over his bed. He then moved from the bed and grabbed his cloak from the hook on the wall. As he wrapped it around himself, Obi-Wan exited his room and headed to the kitchen to have a cup of tea.

Obi-Wan was startled when he found the lights in the kitchen were on and that Sasha was up. Her back was to him as she was working on something over the stove top.

"Sash?" Obi-Wan asked confused.

Perking up at her name, Sasha turned to face him. She looked tired as the bags under her eyes were obvious. When she turned, he also noticed that she had put on a pot of tea.

"Hey, couldn't sleep?" Sasha asked in a soft voice as it still was the middle of the night.

"Something like that," Obi-Wan said as he came forward to the stove top to stand next to her. "What are you doing up?"

She sighed as she looked down at the kettle. "It was a nightmare."

Obi-Wan was taken off guard as he didn't expect her to say that. Had he really been trapped in his own nightmare that he hadn't heard her or sensed her in one of her own? Normally, he would have been able to sense her in that state of turmoil so he could wake her, but it was strange that he didn't.

"Are you alright? What was it about?" he asked as he pulled out two mugs from the cupboard.

"Maul," Sasha said as she turned and leaned with her back against the counter top. "We were back in the cargo ship and he kept saying that he was going to kill you." She paused and he watched as her left hand hovered over her stomach. He guessed that was where Maul had stabbed her in her nightmare. "Then he killed me with the dark saber."

Obi-Wan frowned. "Are you okay?" he asked her as he set the mugs down on the counter top.

She sighed audibly. "Yeah, I think so. It just… felt so real." She dropped her hand from her stomach and folded them across her torso.

"I understand," Obi-Wan said with a nod.

"What about you?" Sasha asked. "I heard you cry out from here, but I couldn't make out what you said. You had a nightmare too, didn't you?"

Obi-Wan looked over to her to see that she was staring at him, concerned. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Yes. I did."

"What was yours?" She asked gently. "Was the same dream or a new one? Cause whichever it was, I could sense how much it was troubling you."

He looked at her surprised. She was able to sense that? Obi-Wan had noticed over the past few months that Sasha's force abilities were getting stronger. There had been several instances of where she was able to practically read his mind without the use of their bond. She also was picking up more on others emotions which was making her more empathic than before. He could sense how much stronger she was getting each day. He was impressed with her. Plus with her growing ability in wielding a double ended lightsaber, she was getting closer each day to her Jedi Trial to knighthood.

"A bit of both," he finally answered after staring at her for a brief silence. He then grabbed the tea packets from the box next to the stove and dropped one into each mug before him. "It starts out like the others, with Satine and I failing to escape Mandalore. Then it shifts to us in the throne room where Maul kills her. Except this time when I gathered Satine into my arms, it wasn't her." Obi-Wan looked directly at Sasha. "It was you."

"What?" Sasha asked, taken back as she dropped her arms.

"You were pierced with a saber, just like she was," He added with a frown. "But you had other horrific injuries all over your body too. Then you died in my arms."

A shudder passed through Sasha as she folded her arms across her chest. This time the gesture was more to comfort herself than think. "It's terrifying to think we both had nightmares of Maul killing me."

Obi-Wan nodded in agreement. "If Master Qui-Gon were around, he would advise us to not ignore these dreams, but to be wary of them."

"I think Master Yoda would say the same," Sasha added with a nod.

"Yes, he would too," Obi-Wan agreed.

At that point, the kettle let out a low whistle to signify that it had finished boiling the water. Sasha reached for the kettle and pulled it off of the stove top. She then poured the steaming, hot water into each mug where a tea packet sat. As the water hit the packet, it started to release the tea into the water. Once both mugs were filled, Sasha shut off the stove top and set down the kettle. Obi-Wan picked up both mugs by their handles and carried them over to the small table. He set one down in front of him and the other in front of the only other chair at the table before taking his seat. Sasha then came over and sat across from him at the table. In the silence, they both raised their mugs to their lips and let the warm, soothing tea slip down their throats. After a second, Sasha set her mug down on the table.

"Master, do you think Maul knows about Taren and Halla?" Sasha asked as she stared into her tea.

Obi-Wan looked up at her and frowned. "I thought the same thing earlier today, but I hope not. I hope that when he says he knows those close to me, he is only referring to you, Anakin, and maybe a few others here at the temple." He looked at the table. "I don't know what I'd do if Maul knew about them."

Sasha nodded, slowly. "I hope he doesn't know too." She paused for a moment. "Should you warn them?"

Obi-Wan shook his head at that. "No. If I contact them, its possible Maul will discover their location and their connection to me. It's best if we avoid contacting them until this matter is resolved."

"I get the feeling that might be awhile," Sasha muttered.

"I hate to agree, but you may be right," Obi-Wan said with a sadden tone.

They both sat there for another hour or so, sipping their tea and exchanging in other conversation over other subjects. Once their tea was finished, they both agreed to try and get more sleep. Where Sasha was successful in getting back to sleep, Obi-Wan was not. He laid in his bed, staring at the ceiling. His mind was racing over the thoughts of the previous day and over the nightmares they had both had. In both nightmares, Sasha had perished by Maul's hand. It was a chilling thought to think about and one that he couldn't let happen to her. However, Obi-Wan was never the type to truly believe in visions, but there was always a first for everything.

The familiar presence filled his veins when suddenly two of his Mandalorian followers that were standing guard at the door, were thrown up against the wall. Maul stood up and looked past Savage to the door as it slid open to reveal… his former Master, Lord Sidious. As Lord Sidious entered the room, Maul descend from the throne and knelt before him as the two Mandalorian's dropped to the ground in a heap on the floor.

"I am most impressed to see you have survived your injuries," Sidious said in a pleased tone.

"I used your training, Master," Maul said, his gaze to the floor before him. "And I have built all this in hopes of returning to your side."

"How unfortunate," Sidious mused then hissed. "That you are attempting to deceive me."

Maul looked up at his former Master as the man turned away from him and Savage.

"Master?" Maul questioned.

"You have become a rival," Sidious said then with the force sent both Maul and Savage flying backwards until they were pinned against the windows of the throne room.

Maul remembered this scene still so vividly. Savage and him had fought Sidious has hard as they could, but despite the man's old age, he was still a stronger Sith. He managed to hold his own against two mighty force users of the Nightbrother's clan. And then he slain Savage. Stabbing him through with his two lightsabers from behind, Sidious viciously smirked as he sent Savage flying over the edge and to the ground below. Maul rushed to his brother's side and to make sure he was alright. But when he got there, the green mist of the witches of Dathomir was engulfing him as his body suddenly lost its height and muscle mass. Maul held his brother's hand.

"Brother, I am unworthy apprentice," Savage spoke, his voice raspy. "I'm not like you. I never was." Then his last breath escaped his lips and he was dead.

Sidious' cackle filled his ear drums as he watched his brother die.

"Savage!" Maul cried out as he shot up straight from the bunk on the cargo ship.

Realizing he was alone on the cargo ship, Maul growled as he slammed his fist into the wall of the bunk. Savage's death was still fresh in his mind. What Sidious had done to his brother was unforgivable. He had tried to take down the Sith Lord after Savage had died, but he had failed. And now he was stuck being his errand boy. Of course, Maul could have easily betrayed his former Master once he was let go and ran off to Dathomir. But Sidious knew where to look for him and would probably send someone to deal with him or bring him before his former Master to be dealt with. Besides, he could be in a worse position. He could be in a torture chamber being tortured to death by Sidious' hand. Or he could be dead and that wouldn't be good as then he couldn't fulfil his plans for taking over the galaxy. Plus getting the opportunity to kill Kenobi will be a true pleasure.

Which reminded him, Maul moved off from his bunk and towards the cockpit to check on the status of the ship. He was currently traveling through hyperspace towards his next destination. The next phase of his plan was soon to occur. All he had to do was wait for Kenobi to surrender himself to him. But he knew the Jedi well enough to know that Kenobi wasn't going to do that. That he was probably going to ignore Maul's offer and deal with him when the time is right. But little does Kenobi realize that his rejection of Maul's offer is all a part of the plan.

As he entered into the cockpit, he took a seat at the controls and noticed he still had another ten minutes before he would arrive. Then once he would get there, he would wait until the right moment to strike. An evil smirk spread across his face as he stared into the swirls of hyperspace. He may not be ridding of Sidious yet, but Kenobi is going to fall.
