After having to stay back in the lecture hall after class, Yuuki came looking for me apparently. When she found me, I lay in the hay of the on campus horse stables. White Lily, a white horse who trusted me and only me, woke me up to tell me that she was there by rubbing her snout against my head. I stirred then woke up from my nap upon the sensation of White Lily's snout against my hair.
Yours Truly: What is it, Lily?
That was when I spotted Yuuki standing in the doorway to the stables, waiting for me.
Yuuki: Ah-ha. I've found you, at last. Guardian prefects should set an example and not skip out early.
It was then that White Lily neighed quite alarmedly at Yuuki. Yuuki, herself, got scared by White Lily.
Yuuki was probably remembering all too well when White Lily went buck wild on the entire Day Class during gym that one day. It was probably for no reason to everyone else, but I knew for a fact that White Lily went buck wild on everyone like that because she most likely smelt the Night Class students from their dorm and was startled by their presence.
I had to calm White Lily down.
Yours Truly: Easy there, Lily, calm down. She's a very simple, uncomplicated girl. She's by no means a threat to you, even if she tried to be.
Yuuki heard what I had said about her and got angry with me for it.
Yuuki: What did you just say?
Yours Truly: You came to bring me back to class?
Then, I stood back up and began to approach her.
Yuuki: No, it's over. You can't skip out when we have to stay late.
That was when she handed me my prefect's armband.
Yuuki: Now, it's time for us to go and patrol the switchover.
She just stood there looking at me like she had hoped to suddenly understand what I was going through. I just grabbed my armband from her hand.
Yours Truly: I know that.
With that, I walked towards the Moon Dorm gates for the switchover. It was only a few minutes afterwards that I heard Yuuki screaming. Then, she ran to me for the second time in my life.
