The next day, my Yuuki was even more tired than usual. Her girl friend, Sayori Wakaba, was the only one to talk to her about her fatigue.
Sayori Wakaba: Tired again, huh?
Yuuki might have been tired, but she seemed to hear what her girl friend said.
Yuuki: Yeah, just a little.
Sayori Wakaba: You got back to the dorm much later than usual last night. Oh, I see. You made chocolates.
Yuuki waved her hand at her friend's guess as to why she got back to the Girls' Sun Dorm late.
Yuuki: Well, that's what I planned to do, but I messed it up.
Then, my Yuuki reached into her pocket and pulled out a box of chocolates as she admitted to why she was back in the dorm so late.
Yuuki: So, I ended up having to buy these.
Sayori Wakaba: Oh, OK.
Then, my Yuuki began to feel down about her failed attempt to make those chocolates.
Yuuki: I'm such a loser when it comes to this sort of thing.
I told you all that Yuuki should have just scrapped the idea of giving that Kaname Kuran her homemade chocolates. She always messes it up. Believe me when I tell all of you that one way or another, even if I lo_ like her, my Yuuki will always find a way to mess up at cooking anything.
That was when I spoke to my Yuuki and her friend about that sort of thing.
Yours Truly: I don't know what you were doing, but we could hear you all the way from the Boys' Dorm last night.
My Yuuki turned her head backwards to face my direction when I said that about her. I admit that I might have sugarcoated the truth about it a little bit, that is that I sugarcoated the part about already having been well back in the Boys' Sun Dorm at that point of the night.
Of course, my Yuuki was super quick to deny my comment.
Yuuki: No, you didn't. Shut up!
Leave it to the girls at this school, even my Yuuki, to think that us guys do not have the same right as they do to our own opinions about the opposite sex. Sometimes, it felt like girls abused their women's rights and thought that we were immediately obligated to like them in return. The Night Class vampires at Cross Academy should have been a testament to proving otherwise.
Of course, there was one way that Yuuki was different from the other girls at Cross Academy; that was that she always seemed to regret whenever she seemed like the bad guy with me.
Of course, I decided to focus only on the fact that the rest of the Day Class girls tried to sneak out of class 'before the guardian prefects see us' as they phrased it.
Yours Truly: Let's go. Time for work.
That was when Yuuki rose out of her seat following my actions.
Yuuki: Hey, wait!
Although I did not normally look forward to this job, I could barely wait to get to work this time. Yuuki probably thought it was something like me planning to do something to that Kaname Kuran of hers, but I would not have gone after him unless he hurt my Yuuki in any way, shape, or form. No. This time I just wanted to get to work to get my work as a guardian prefect done and over with.
