Chapter 10
The ballet class
The next day came berry quickly as it was 3 days before the tea party contest. They wanted to get as much training in as possible but also wanted to do some more things around the hotel. All the kids woke up bright and early and prepared there makeup. 'What is it everyone wants to do today? Should we go to the amusement park, should we continue our tea party training or something else." "Well tea party training sounds fun but i feel like that shouldn't take a full day" they all agreed. Strawberry smiled "hum you are correct angel cake, huckleberry do you have any suggestions" huckleberry though "well i was kinda feeling some ballet classes today, I'm a bit out of practice and want to get as far ahead as i can." He said the girls smiled "thats a berry wonderful idea huck." Strawberry said. "Im on board" orange said. Angel cake said "but should we be dancing before breakfast?" They agreed. "Ok i say we get our ballet outfits on, head to breakfast then directly to our wings dance studio" strawberry said. They agreed.
The kids only took 5 minutes to get the ballet outfits they bought on. The dress code for the studio could be in any style but them must include 3 things: pancake tutu dress with matching bodice, fashionable tights, and matching toe shoes. As the kids changed they actually felt like cinnamon roll heads.
They met up with each other after putting on some glittery makeup. Everyones tutus extended out almost a 90 degree angle each one a 2 foot radius. Strawberries outfit was adorned with cute pink glittery strawberries growing on pink silk on her tutu, flowers separated her tutu from her bodice. Angel cake wore a white outfit with cake fondant like decorative trim, and purple lace edging the round frilly skirt, the top has an adorable flower on top. Gingersnap was wearing a pastel purple tutu adorned in glitter like a chirro would be dipped in cinnamon, her lace trimmed top adorned with gorgeous sequins. Orange kept her flower fairy like theme her tutu looking like a cheery yellow flower felid with felt daisies and Lilly's growing on it, blueberry had a classic looking outfit that was fairly plain. Huckleberry was the last one out "sorry i was late" huckleberries was ironically the girliest of all. His tutu was a twin layered tutu united by a fairly thick amount of berry tulle, his top light blue tutu was adorned with several ribbons with cute heart sequins, each one around connected by three circular layers of white lace ribbons. The tutu was cut off from the bodice by an adorably large lolita styled ribbon, the top glittered with a gorgeous light. The girls stood in aww, "huckleberry that is the prettiest ballet outfit i have ever seen" orange said. Huckleberry curtsied "thanks orange blossom". "Wow you are really good at curtsying" gingersnap said. They all giggled even huckleberry couldn't help but giggle, "what can i say, maybe i was a fairy tale princess in a past life" he said only half joking. The group hugged each other and they headed down for breakfast. As they entered the other girls gave them a round of applause. "Wow i feel like a total star" gingersnap said. As they ate powder puff came over. "What do you want?" Strawberry asked sternly. "I just wanted to say even though you all got lucky in the first event, im nothing if not fair so good job on not embarrassing yourselves in this competition" they all glared as they answered "thanks." Powderpuff went to get her food. Gingersnap was practically raging as was lemon merengue. Strawberry shortcake responded with "forget her lets just focus on our practice." They all agreed.
The ballet studio was absolutely adorable. Pink chiffon walls gorgeous glitter and sparkling mirrors. All the kids awed in pure joy. "Come on lets go warm up" huckleberry said heading to a bare. As the others joined him the music began as swan lake played.
They spent a good hour practicing a warm up. While peppermint fizz, orange blossom, and blueberry were having trouble, strawberry, huckleberry, angel cake, ginger snap, and raspberry tourt looked like star prima ballerinas. As the others watched they were beyond shocked huckleberry was so good. "I thought you hated dancing?" Orange asked. "I did until that dance class we took" huckleberry said as he preformed on pointe. Strawberry joined him. Angel said to her friends "you know i never would have taken huckleberry for this" they all giggled. Everyone else agreed. As the practice continued for another 3 hours everyone but raspberry, lemon Huckleberry and strawberry were taking a brake almost wiped out. "Geez where do you 4 find the energy?" gingersnap asked. The others shrugged "not entirely sure." They all giggled as they literally danced until it was time for dinner.
