A/N: Part 2 of 3, this is a year since the end of Part 1, set two days after Fang and Lightning welcome their first child Kain, which Faris and Hope do something that's sneaky and full of fluff when they arrive at the Yun-Farron household!

Army of Yun-Farron, Part 2

Faris watches her sister-in-law Fang from her side in Hope's car as the slender man is concentrated on the road, driving the brunette home from the hospital as the Oerban native had a physical that she was forced to delay due to the birth of her and Lightning's son Kain. With Fang opting to carry their first child, it worried the older Farron because of the accident the brunette was a part of months before they got engaged, but at the same time it took the needed pressure off of the pinkette due to her Medical but Honourable Discharge from the Guardian Corps. The coral haired woman was lost in her thoughts regarding her sister-in-law for three reasons: 1. Fang chose to have her physical done two DAYS after Kain was born. Faris' only thought there was that the brunette lost her damn mind by having the physical that soon after Kain's birth. 2. Hope clearly remembered Fang breastfeeding Kain minutes before he picked her up for said physical. Faris likely forgot that Lightning was taking a nap with him on the sofa when Fang left with her and Hope for that physical. 3. Raiden, the service dog given to Lightning, was 'on duty' to make sure that both Lightning and Kain actually took a nap, with Buttercup helping Raiden here. The Calico cat fell in love with the pit bull at first sight, which Fang quickly found out that every being who met Buttercup was quickly the cat's friend and Raiden was no exception. Lightning's heart melted with joy when Buttercup quickly became Raiden's friend, more thankful than ever for Rygdea's foresight when he gifted her the pit bull.

During the lengthy drive to the Yun-Farron household, Faris and Hope had a quiet conversation while Fang slept, which the topics the duo talked about varied, which went from light hearted tales about Vanille and/or Lenna to how Fang lost her damn mind regarding the physical, with both individuals being the most worried about Lightning ever since the discharge, and how pissed off Faris STILL is at Snow for what he's done. "Fang did right by snagging Light when she did, Faris. That picture of Lightning and Fang from their wedding is hilarious to this day, don't you think?" Hope asked the Tycoon native, who couldn't stop laughing her arse off the instant Hope mentioned said photo. It was a photo of the newlywed pair sticking their middle finger into a cake that was of Snow's face, with Fang's middle finger poking into the 'left eye' while Lightning's poked into the 'right eye' and sharing a gentle kiss. Leia was able to get the best angle for the picture taken before joining everyone in laughing their arses off because it was a Fang and Lightning thing to do with the custom cake. Oddly enough, Faris' laughter couldn't wake Fang up as the brunette was out like a rock, putting Hope in a state of relief although both of them are sure that Fang would join them in the laughter over that photo. Hope laughed his arse off from how Faris was laughing her arse off: according to Lenna, Faris' laugh is very contagious and gets others to laugh with her for that very reason. It was a reason why Vanille forever has love just for her Tycoon Pirate.

After several minutes of laughter, Faris was able to get her laughter under control as she had something on her mind all ride long. "Hope, if Lightning and Kain are still napping, you reckon that we can take a photo of them? As a surprise for Snaggletooth of course..." Faris started, which a smirk formed for the slender man. Hope wanted to take a photo of Lightning taking a nap with Kain, Buttercup and Raiden yesterday but forgot, as he felt that the photo would the perfect birthday gift for Fang: a photo of her family. It was only when Faris brought up the idea during this ride that he finally had the support for the idea.

Little does Hope know that Lightning was the real mastermind for the gift.

Lightning, Kain, Buttercup and Raiden are all sleeping on the comfy sofa, enjoying the heat from the fireplace that's helping them stay warm. When Kain fell asleep he placed one of his ears to Lightning's heart, to hear the heartbeat of one of his mothers. Speaking of Lightning, she had a smile of content once she saw her newborn son fall fast asleep after Fang breastfed him. With Raiden and Buttercup, the two pets were the extra blankets that really kept the humans safe and warm. Once they saw Kain when he was born two days ago, both the pit bull and the Calico cat fell in love with their new human sibling. Raiden couldn't stop smiling at his human brother, while Buttercup snuck into his crib and made sure that Kain slept soundly at night. Kain was Buttercup's newest territory according to the older Farron, and also Fang but to a lesser extent. According to Lenna and Vanille, Lightning somehow caught a photo of Buttercup and Kain peacefully sleeping on her mobile, which she had to upgrade since the one she had for years finally died on her after working as well as it could for years.

The small group inside the house were still too into their peaceful nap when the car containing Fang, Faris and Hope pulled up to the driveway, with the car Fang and Lightning usually use still there. For both Faris and Hope, this was the best chance for them to capture a moment of Lightning taking a nap with her newborn son, Buttercup and Raiden. Oddly enough, Faris had both Lightning and Fang's mobile devices on her person (it was Lightning's idea so that she could enjoy the nap without the phone distracting her at any point) which she gave Hope Fang's device so that he can take the photo from a different angle. Without any delay, Faris and Hope, as quick as Lightning's namesake, took the photo of her taking the nap with Kain, Buttercup and Raiden from Lightning and Fang's mobile devices, just before Fang finally woke up from a nap that she took in Hope's car, not knowing that the slender man has her mobile device. "How nice of Hope to leave the window a bit open for me..." the brunette happily said to herself.

What Fang saw next was a game changer to everything, and for the best reasons.

It was when Fang FINALLY got out of the car that she saw an unusual facial expression for both Faris and Hope...which didn't take long for Fang to find out that the slender man has her device in his hands. Hope had to think FAST on what to say, which what he said calmed the Oerban native down: "It was Lightning's idea...", showing a photo of the older Farron, Fang's wife, taking a nap with Kain, Buttercup and Raiden on the sofa, with a look of content and feeling at peace clearly seen in Lightning's facial expression, and also one of happiness with Kain. Buttercup and Raiden provided the two humans extra warmth, ensuring that Fang would have a constant reminder of the family she and Lightning helped create, making Fang smile and give Hope a bone crushing hug, causing Faris to release an endearing chuckle, knowing that the coral haired woman did the same thing alongside Fang with Hope and Lenna's kids when they were born.

Sure enough, it was when Fang entered the Yun-Farron home at last that Kain woke up crying, as he was clearly hungry and Fang had to make sure that her son was fed. A fed Kain was a happy Kain, and a happy Kain provided a happy Fang and Lightning. Fang went on to breastfeed the newborn, while Lightning, Buttercup and Raiden were all just waking up from the nap. With Faris and Hope helping Buttercup and Raiden while Kain was getting his meal with Lightning protectively looking on, Fang couldn't stop smiling. The brunette had her perfect son in Kain, and with the perfect spouse in Lightning. After the feeding was over with, Fang quickly covered up again, to see the two perfect pets in Buttercup and Raiden eating their respective foods in harmony, just as Etro and Lady Luck intended all along with the Yun-Farron family all this time.

Somehow, Lightning burst into a song that her mother sang when she was younger, immediately making Kain smile and Faris crying happy tears. "Thanks for everything, Mr. and Mrs. Farron," Hope quietly said to the ceiling with a small smile of sincerity on his face, knowing that Lightning's parents would be more than proud of the woman the older Farron has become, with the life she now has with Fang as her wife, Kain as her son and the two pets, Buttercup and Raiden.

"Thank you BOTH for helping Fang with the physical. It means the world to me..." Lightning finally said to both Faris and Hope, knowing that their loyalty to her and Fang are standing the test of time, through the good and the bad.

Knowing this, Lightning started to wonder if she should carry their next child, so that Kain wouldn't be alone. It would take time for her and Fang to think about before talking about it. For now, the older Farron just enjoyed the moment with her newborn son.
