Kion and jasiri were walking through the outlands then jasiri stopped with kion stopping behind her, "whats wrong" kion asked she said "we need to be careful and quick we're in janjas territory, and you can probably tell that he doesn't like it when someone unwanted wonders through here".

"Yeah I bet, where to next" kion said, "just through their you'll find flat ridge rock and beyond that the pridelands" she said with a smile.

Kion walked forward then looked back at jasiri and said " thank jasiri I appreciate the help and from what you said, and if you ever need help in just come find me and I'll come running" he said with confidence. "Ha a lion helping a hyena now that's a good one" jasiri said humorously kion continued on and rolled his eyes with a smirk on his face.

Jasiri went back to her own territory but she got a wiff of another scent she looked around to see if anyone was their but she saw no one so she thought her mind was playing tricks on her but when she looked back and was face to face with janja, "Janja" she said surprised.

"Well well well if it isn't jasiri, mind tell me why your in our territory, and why do you smell like a lion" he asked

"I better not tell him about kion" she thought

"I'm not looking for trouble janja I'm just passing through" she said as she was about to walk away when janjas clan cut her off.

"Really were doing this" she said unamused.

"Get her boys" he said and chungu went rushing in for a swing but jasiri dodged it and tripped chungu and he rolled into cheezi who was also running at jasiri and they collided into a wall

Another member of janjas clan charged at her and swiped at her but jasiri dodged it and swiped back harder knocking him back.

She then ducked when another hyena pounced at her but missed "is that all you got janja" she said and it echoed through the cliffs and kion heard it " jasiri!" he said worriedly.

Kion ran back as fast as he could to help jasiri.

Jasiri was doing well until janja pinned her down.

"Gotcha now jasiri its over" he said menacingly.

"Do your worst janja" she said not afraid of what he was going to do to here.

Then as janja was about to deal a fatal blow he saw a dark figure standing on a tall rock looking at janja with hatred in its eyes and growling at him.

Then the figure rushed down and punched janja a good few feet away and help jasiri up and she saw it was kion

"KION!" shouted janja clearly shocked that the leader of the lion guard is here to help jasiri but it would explain that lion smell on jasiri.

"What are doing here kion" she asked surprised to see him.

"I'm just here to help a friend" he said with a confident smirk.

"I have it under control but- did you call me your friend" she asked confused on why a lion would call a hyena a friend

"Yeah with what you said to me why wouldn't we be friends" he said answering her question.

Jasiri shook her head to focus since they were still in a fight.

"Alright but just so you know I got them right where I want them" jasiri said not wanting to argue.

Kion swiped at chungu and knocked him back " watch out!" jasiri yelled as she slid into 2 hyenas that were trying to get the drop on kion

"Thanks" he said but kion noticed that cheezi was sneaking up on jasir from behind.

"Watch out!" he shouted and rushed over and pushed jasiri down and him and cheezi butted heads but kion shook it off while cheezi fainted.

"Not bad for a lion" she said impressed with how kion shook off a headbutt like no problem.

Most people wood be hurting or have a concussion after bashing heads with another person so hard.

"Ah-oh" said jasiri, she and kion then saw that janja and his clan had cornered them

"Jasiri get behind me" kion said her not wanting to be caught in what he was gonna do.

(to any lion guard fans who seen the show and prefer kionxjasiri you know exactly what I'm talking about)

"What why" jasiri asked curious on what the young cub was up to.

"Just trust me" he said with a serious tone.

Jasiri looked around at their current situation and reluctantly agreed seeing as now was not a good time to argue.

"Alright I trust you but you better have a good idea" she said.

"Don't worry I got one" said kion with a confident smirk.

Kion focused then jasiri noticed the wind was picking up and clouds started to move in

"Uh-oh" said janja knowing exactly what was about to happen next.

Then kion used the roar of elders and janja and his clan flying back.

Jasiri look in aw totally speechless on what she was seeing.

"Zuka zama that's the roar kions in trouble" said bunga

"Lets go" said fuli urgently

"Till the pridelands end lion guard defend" they said together in unison

"I really hate that roar" murmured janja

Then janja looked up and saw kion standing over him and kion growled at him.

"Lets get out of here" janja said and him and his clan quickly ran off.

"Yeah! you better run" said jasiri celebrating the victory

"I gotta say that was amazing, I never seen them run like that before" she said astonished.

"Hey I can here you!" janja shouted.

"I guess we aren't alike as you think" kion said with a smirk.

"Guess so" she said

Then kion noticed that jasiri was holding her left shoulder in slight pain.

"Your hurt " kion said worriedly.

He reached and examined the area where her shoulder was hurt and jasiri was slightly blushing that he was caring for her she didn't think a lion would care for a hyena,

"It's nothing just a slight bruise from when janja pinned me to the ground" she said trying to make kion worry less.

"Does hurt" he asked

"A little bit but I should be fine" she said.

"Great" he said a little bashfully.

Jasiri giggle at his bashfulness

"What's so funny" he asked curiously.

"Nothing its just your so caring and bashful towards me and handsome" she said whispering that last part

"Well it's just how I am with my friends but with you I guess it's different since your cute" kion said but then realizes what he just said.

Jasiri was speechless cause kion just called here cute and they haven't known each other that long and they both just looked away from each other blushing madly.

"I can't believe I just called cute like that stupid stupid" he thought

Then they looked at each still blushing and they just got lost in each others eyes then they slowly moved their faces closer but suddenly the moment was cut short by the arrival of the lion guard.

"He's over here" bunga yelled

The guard came rushing in to back kion up with fuli getting in between kion and jasiri fuli got an battle stance and growled at her jasiri did the same thing and growled back her then kion got in between them and stood in front jasiri breaking up a potential fight. "Stop she's my friend" kion said firmly

"She is" fuli said surprised at what kion just said.

"I am" jasiri said still surprised that kion considered her a friend in the little amount of time they spent together.

The lion guard were surprised that kion would call a hyena his friend.

"Kion who is this" asked ono who wanted to know more about this hyena

"This is jasiri she is a good hyena she helped my through the outlands when I was lost, she and her clan actually respect the circle of life unlike janja".

"Well in that case sorry for the misunderstanding" fuli said apologizing to jasiri for her actions.

"It's ok" she said accepting her apology.

"Well we should get going guys" said kion. "right" they said in unison

"And jasiri" kion said getting her attention. "Yeah what's up" she responded, "like I said before if you ever need help just ask" kion said with a warm smile. And then him and the lion guard returned to the pridelands.

When kion and the guard returned they all went home and when kion was returning to pride rock he was thinking about jasiri and how well she fought janja and his clan he thought they were one heck of a team and he did think she was cute. When he got home his family greeted him and he greeted them back and he told them about his adventure in the outlands they looked worried and he told them he was ok and reassured them. They were glad to here that told him to come and join dinner. While eating kion couldn't stop thinking about jasiri and how they almost kissed.

"Kion are you ok" asked kiara who noticed kion had something on his mind.

"Yeah just thinking of how much of a maze it is in the outlands" he said not knowing how they would react that he fought with a hyena and almost kissed said hyena.

Then after dinner was done they went to sleep

Meanwhile in the outlands.

Jasiri walked back to her clans territory and was greeted by her clan and saw madoa her sister and her newly born cubs and saw them nursing. She then told her clan about her encounter with janja and his clan. They were worried but she quickly reassured them and told them about kion and how he helped her and saved her and told them she was friends with him. They were curious about this kion but they know they can trust jasiri and she trust kion then they can trust kion. After she was done expaining to them she immediately remembered about kion caring for her and that he called her cute and she slightly blushed and that they almost kissed .

"Jasiri are you ok" asked madoa who noticed jasiri's odd behavior.

"Yeah I'm just thinking how much of a help kion will be if we need it" she said not know how they would react to how she almost kissed a lion.

Then she got some food and then went to sleep with the rest of her clan.
